Staff was very nice.
Wake up call did not work, even though I was told it would. Also the alarm clock in my room was broken also!
There was mold on the ceiling of the shower which was absolutely unacceptable. Who knows how long the mold was there. The room/bathroom was quite dated and appeared dirty.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Clean sheets and comfy beds.
The bottom strip of lining was peeling off the wall next to my bed. Towels were a little starchy and our room didn't provide soap.
it was quiet.
dead bugs in the bathroom. the hallways were filthy. it was very hot and the air conditioning did not work. room service was "Too busy" to deliver It appeared to be family run and they were way over their heads. Maybe Clarion should do surprise inspections.
The hotel was very easy to find and within 20 minutes of great restaurants.
The bathroom was not cleaned when we arrived. There was hair on the toilet and on the floor. It was obvious the floor had not been cleaned in some time. The toiletries and towels had not been replenished since the previous guests. A major issue we had was that our entry door jamb was bowed. The door would only shut if you slammed it closed. The maid never did this, and left our room open all day long.
Staff was great
Was outdated. Fire extinguishers missing. Elevator not working.
Location and staff
The room I was put into (after having been given a room that was not made up) had massive damp and mold on the walls, it was so bad that I have been ill since my stay there.
This hotel is old. The only thing new is the sign outside. It is showing its age and would rather have stayed at the Hilton Gardens up the street for the price difference it would have been worth it.
