Cons: Nothing

Cons: Explanation of facilities such as sitting room which we thought was private.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: the whole stay the property was amazing breakfast was super , we where given a string of onions by the owner , whom was charming thank you .
Cons: the bed very hard and not comfy shame would have been 10 out of 10 other wise.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: a very nice , clean and comfortable accommodation; very friendly and attentive owners provided us with all important information and excellent breakfast in very smartly decorated dinning room with antique porcelain, cutlery, etc. Although the property is about 20 min walking distance from centre of Roscoff we enjoy our stroll to the centre especially the part along the beach in the sunny afternoon. I would recommend the place if you want peace and quite in the authentic Brittany village for good value.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful area just outside the town but only minutes away by car and walkable if not in a hurry as we were. Beautiful home with well appointed room and attention to detail. Lovely breakfast and delightful family run business. We would like to return sometime for longer.
Cons: On arrival we were not sure which entrance to use until the host came out to us, otherwise everything was excellent.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Very peaceful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, very friendly host and quiet while being close to Roscoff (5 min) and beautiful beaches.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming B&B, situated in a very calm area just outside of Roscoff - ideal for one night before/after the ferry crossing. Very warm welcome even though I arrived quite late in the evening, nice and clean room, very good breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owners were so friendly - joined us for breakfast. They served up freshly made crepes and Far Breton.
Cons: Nothing could improve our stay - it was so good.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and welcoming. Location and closeness to beach and town excellent. The owner went the extra (well ran actually) mile to deliver a forgotten item and handed it to us in the ferry queue.
Cons: Map coordinates were wrong minimal problem forgot to inform the owner.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are exceptionally warm and welcoming people. We were sorry to have to leave. Breakfast consisted of homemade crêpes and other Bretonne specialties. Roscoff is a delightful uncrowded small town, often overlooked by tourists because of its lack of sandy beaches; therefore, it is unspoiled by mass tourism. It's a nice place for a relaxing stop over.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely and clean, the hosts were so kind and thoughtful, and the views were lovely. We felt very welcomed when we arrived and throughout the full stay Michele and Michelle gave us advice on which sights to see and even brought some clothing to the ferry port because we had left it behind. Just a very lovely experience, Roscoff is a beautiful place.
Cons: There was nothing to complain about during our stay.

6.5 Good
Pros: In the centre of town
Cons: Car parking was in a public car park nearby - not on premises as it says on the booking.com site And was expensive also needing meter feeding so messes up daily plans Breakfast expensive so went to a cafe/bakery 2 mins away - much better

Cons: The price of the breakfast
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Arrived late and left early to experience much, but all seemed good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. This historic hotel was fabulous. Food exceptional. Staff very informed and helpful. Roscoff is beautiful. Our room overlooked the fascinating little port where the tide comes in and out in dramatic fashion! We were in the old historic part of the hotel, which we really appreciated. A drink in the bar overlooking the ocean and tides is a must.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient for ferry port. Extremely welcoming staff. Lovely location.
Cons: Bedside lights very bright. Bed hard. Small step from room to corridor unexpected!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were attentive and helpful, and the restaurant food was superb.
Cons: We thought that overall value for money wasn’t good enough, considering that the room was comfortable, but not luxurious, which is what we would have expected at the price.
6.8 Good
Cons: Restaurant full for the evening we were there Don't think I should pay for car parking in addition to the room charge. ( most people will be arriving by car) Breakfast was very expensive Our room next to the pool was hot and smelled strongly of Chlorine No view from the room
7.0 Good
Pros: Didn't eat here, it was much too expensive
Cons: Room was small at that price bed comgortsnle
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable ,we didn't have breakfast...leaving too early. But my husband is a coeliac and we don't eat a cooked breakfast so 24euros is a rather excessive amoint to pay for cereal and toast. We appreciated the upgrade to a seaview room
Cons: We were extremrly surprised that there was a charge to park on the premises. The public car park was fortunately along side.We had joped to eat in the restaurant but didn't realuse until we received the confirmation email that the restaurant was closed on a Monday Also surprised to deduce that June is considered low season.

Hotel D'angleterre - Roscoff - Building
6
8.7 Excellent (916 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Roscoff, Hotel D’Angleterre is just 200 metres from the beach on the Brittany Coast. It offers rooms with a telephone and TV. Free WiFi is available in everywhere in the property. The Angleterre Hotel has a bar and games room with a billiards table. There is also a terrace, which opens onto the garden. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast each morning. Hotel D’Angleterre is a 5-minute walk from the old port, which provides access to the Ile de Batz. Guests can also visit the Roscoff Thalasso Spa Centre. Bicycle storage is possible on site.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A very nice room for the breakfast. Like most hotels in Roscoff caters for overnight stays from or before the Plymouth ferry. No restaurant and I arrived after the bar shut but found other places still open.
Cons: A bit of an awkward climb up to the bedroom and a very low entrance to the bathroom- had to stoop to get into it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: staff was really friendly, the room was airy, location was perfect, if i was to go back again to roscoff i would like to book the same hotel. I struggle with the language but the staff really helped.
Cons: the breakfast could have been lesser for the children, they not big eaters and i paid the same for what i had to what they had. However the breakfast i can not fault, it was lovely to wake up and have the buffet laid on.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean
Cons: Not enough space after 5 pm to stay out of the toom
6.3 Good
Pros: The layout of the house was good. The garden was quite roomy and pleasant and not really overlooked. The beds were comfy and the rooms airy in the daytime.
Cons: It wasn’t particularly clean when we arrived. Some of the furniture was shabby. The outside furniture was a bit of a mish mash and it needed sun loungers. We were disappointed that we hade paid 60 euros per week for a tv that could only access french channels ( in this day and age!) Also missed a little bar on terrace by the pool.
6.8 Good
Pros: Staff was extremely friendly in this hotel. Roscoff is a lovely town, and the hotel is very central. It makes it very easy to visit the city. The garden is huge, and very nice, and the "dining" area very big, and spacious. The veranda, the pool table and the reception area were also very nice.
Cons: If this place would have been called a hostel, we would have given it a much better rating. However, it being a hotel, with such high score on booking.com our expectations were higher. Of course it is not a 5 star hotel, so we did not expect much. But cleanliness, noise, lack of simple, but practical storage solutions, were issues. First, the fact that the term "vegetarian" was unknown to the staff, was pretty shoking. I mean, generally in France that has been the case, but with staff this young, and a supposed hotel so "good" we expected at least some knowledge of the concept. For this reason we did not have breakfast here, because no eggs were on the menu or anything else savory for vegetarians. The room, was unfortunately on the first floor, which was very difficult with our elderly, big dog (stairs are very steep). The room was spacious enough, but very spartan, and not necessarily the cleanest (under the bed, the toilet, the sink... dust and pink mold). There was a massive lack of hanging space, or hooks (nothing was there for towels, jackets, or dog stuff) which was very annoying when travelling with a dog, and various jackets for different temperatures - as you often get in Britany. Accepting guests with a dog, one would think that a hotel thinks about this at all: whether a bowl, some hooks, a towel, some poo bags, a small fridge to store potential dog food etc. Plumbing from the other rooms was very noisy - keeping us up. The toilet did also not flush properly - making it even harder to keep it clean. The shared bathroom is MASSIVE, and modern, and the water pressure was good - but it was anything but clean. We wore flipflops in the shower. The matress was far too soft (for us).
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Everything was very good Indeed. We would certainly return.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good.
Cons: Parking was a serious problem, even unloading was tricky. First impression was the noise and people sitting on outside steep steps up to reception. The noise was from a Rock Evening organised in and by the hotel. The corridors were dark and stark. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. But it was very spartan. The shower room was also spotless and modern but very poky.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quirky designer could not open the windows in the room so it was a bit warm and stuffy
Cons: We could not open the windows in the room so it was a bit too warm and stuffy As it was late when we arrived we did not like to ask the staff (there were none!) but when we mentioned it the next morning they said it would be attended to ( health and safety issue!!!)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and great family room. Would definitely recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here last year for the first time and enjoyed the friendly service and great quality breakfast. We found it very good value for money and have recommended the hotel to our family and friends. The interior of the bar/dining area is beautiful.
Cons: Having an evening meal at the hotel would add greatly to the experience. Parking is also a slight issue.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Pictures represent of property. Great location and good sea view. Restaurant was excellent! Great value for money.
Cons: Lots of stairs to room so difficult with baggage
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel was wonderful, and particularly the staff who went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay, and who appreciate you speaking French even when it's not perfect. Breakfast was spectacular (outside on the terrace when it was sunny). The hotel's location is amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the decor, clean looking, fresh and modern. Being able to take our dog with us.
Cons: Everything fine but we hadn't realised there would be a carnival atmosphere with bands right outside which went on till almost 1am. Bastille Eve...could this be the reason? Didn't get much sleep, but that wasn't the fault of the hotel. Would happily stay again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Central location. Really comfortable modern room. Dinner was very good quality and staff pleasant and helpful. Really nice for our dog.
Cons: Noisy - there was an outdoor musical fest along the promenade. Perhaps best avoided in high season at weekends? Service in restaurant whilst helpful and friendly but was really slow.
7.0 Good
Pros: great position
Cons: No parking nearby. Room was tiny with no ventilation.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: I would recommend paying the upgrade for a sea view room - views are amazing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here a couple of times, now. Superb hotel in a fantastic location. Staff, as always, were very polite. One side, gives you a superb sea view, the other lovely view over the old town and church with a magnificent bell tower.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was basic, but clean and functional with a very comfortable bed. Room was very quiet for duration of stay. Parking was easy and location is both lovely and very convenient for the town.
Cons: Towels are too small and rough. Some tea/coffee/biscuits and a kettle would be nice too.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely spacious clean room with good facilities. Right on the ocean. The bells didn’t start ringing in the morning until 8am.....bonus!
Cons: All good, I probably should have got a room with an ocean view.
Bellevue - Roscoff - Building
10
8.3 Excellent (329 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Roscoff, Bellevue is within a 5-minute drive of Notre-Dame de Croaz Batz and Plage du Traon Erc'h.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Position clean sea view
Cons: Breakfast poor
6.8 Good
Pros: The hotel was easy walking distance from the Port, and on the route of the (free) summer bus. It's well located across the bay from the main town so in a quieter location. There is a nice restaurant right next door, also a bar (which we didn't try). We had a view of the sea from our room, and we received a friendly welcome.
Cons: The room was a bit small for the price, and was directly above a bar (luckily it was not very busy or not very noisy the one night we stayed). The continental breakfast at €9.50 was adequate, but maybe a bit expensive.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The view from the bedroom.
Cons: The hotel rooms are over a bar / restaurant and the tables were placed outside on the pavement. The noise from their clientele continued well after midnight and prevented us sleeping.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Reasonably priced, good value for money, wonderful sea view room overlooking harbour, polite and helpful staff, courtyard pleasant, breakfast good, handy parking right outside hotel (more closeby)
Cons: Noisy being over the pub until everyone had gone home - it was hot so the windows needed to be open
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was light and airy and veru clean, the bathroom was spotless.Highly reccomended.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location with wonderful sea view. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the towels were nicer than normally found in two star hotels. There was plenty to eat at breakfast and great coffee supplied with freshly heated hot milk. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: We appreciated the kettle in our room but would have liked proper mugs/cups. A bit more storage and hanging space would be helpful if people are staying more than a couple of nights. The pub beneath our window was a bit noisy late into the night but as it was Roscoff's Bastille Day celebrations we accepted that that might be the exception rather than the norm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was conveniently placed for walking into the town
Cons: Everything was to our satisfaction
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect view on the port and above all the kindness of the owner and her staff
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Views great close to town. Good breakfast. Parking right outside handy
Cons: Beautiful setting but a little dated and only a double bed not kingsize. Nice to have tea/coffee facility but was not impressed with Paper cups! Or No milk
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was great - we had to leave before breakfast due to an early ferry - lovely Super-Kingsize bed in our room - it was perfectly adequate for our needs.
Cons: The plumbing in our room (Room 8) could have done with some attention as it woke us quite randomly, frequently, all night long.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel was clean and near the centre of town.
Cons: For a Logis the food was average with odd touches of the expected standard. We had expected more of a Logis in an area with so much competition..
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation en suite was clean, fresh and very comfortable. Close to the ferry port, am ideal night stop over for an early sailing the following morning. As a bonus for us, the restaurant was good, accommodated my change of crab from spider to common crab. The ambience in the reataurant is very good.
Cons: As 2 eighty year olds would have preferred the first floor, our room was up two flights of srairs.
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location, friendly staff, nice room.
Cons: Shower not working properly. And we had to interrupt our walk around the town to come back and pay because there was only one person who could operate the card machine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in lovely town. Great place to base yourself for few days exploration in the area.
6.3 Good
Pros: Convenient for town but would rather be a little further out as it was too noisy
Cons: Noisy you would have to balance whether the convenient location was worth the noise Very hot room
4.3 Okay
Cons: it was not a hotel it was a restaurant with bedrooms upstairs through back alley totally misleading
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, fantastic restaurant, secure bike storage
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location- right in the centre of Roscoff. Garage for our bikes. Flexible about our late arrival. The hotel has a restaurant as well -small, friendly, good local produce.
Cons: Nothing. Excellent value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Was my second stay within a few weeks after my journey plans were changed but was the good part of it. Reasonably close to port . But the restaurant, which also provides the best ingredients for breakfast,is superb and definitely a top notch choice for anyone in the area.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff. Good sized rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: service very good & room very clean
7.0 Good
Pros: Perfect location, lovely building and excellent customer service. Roscoff is a delightful place.
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: In the centre of the town. Car park (fee) nearby. Good stop before morning ferry.
Cons: A bit depersonalised since becoming a Mercure and odd paint choice for the room - dark burgundy and muddy pink (previously muted browns and beige. No restaurant now. No takeaway cups for express breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is situated in the heart of the beautiful town of Roscoff, adjacent to the historic church. The hotel is well presented and stylishly decorated throughout, whilst the rooms are clean and tidy. There is a modest supplement payable for sea view rooms, but in view of the fact that the sea literally laps against the hotel walls at high tide, the extra charge is very worthwhile, since the views from the bedrooms are breathtaking. The hotel provides a basic but good breakfast, and although it does not have a restaurant offering any other meals during the day, that is unimportant as there are so many bars and restaurants within a matter of metres from the front door of the hotel. Similarly, the hotel has no car parking facilities, but once again, this is unimportant as there are numerous free car parking spaces within a short distance of the hotel. The staff were all friendly, helpful and welcoming, and added to what was a thoroughly enjoyable visit.
Cons: The bar offering is very basic, and a wider selection of beers and drinks would have improved the stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great position in Roscoff , our well equipped and comfortable room overlooked the sea. Breakfast was very good and staff excellent.
Cons: Parking is definitely a problem especially in July and August. We had to keep moving the car in order not to pick up a fine. I thought that the hotel had secure parking available but this was not offered.

6.3 Good
Pros: The convenient location and parking facilities and the quality of the service.
Cons: The cost is high enough and the room I was allocated could have been better also unable to get any English or English speaking channel on the tv.
7.0 Good
Pros: Loved the location. Staff friendly and comfortable room for overnight stay.
Cons: Unfortunately as the reception closed at 8pm, we were unable to get a hot drink. Would be great to have a kettle in room, or in reception area to make a drink.
7.5 Good
Pros: Well located hotel and clean.
Cons: The hotel does need some updating and replacement furniture. The room was quite small and a small double bed set back into fitted wardrobes. Was woken up several times hitting hand/elbow on sides of said wardrobes.
7.0 Good
Pros: The silent
Cons: The bathroom very uncomfortable
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff & clean rooms
Cons: No phone number available to contact the hotel to advise them what time we’d be arriving and check if reception would still be open at that time.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for a one night stop-over before catching the ferry. Large car park was a bonus. Easy walk into Roscoff with a good selection of restaurants. Room was on the second floor with a lift and a good view over the gardens and the town. Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Clean , pleasant staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, welcome was fantastic and room was superb.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The spa is fabulous. Staff went out of their way to be helpful.
Cons: The hotel changed names a few years ago and the street signs that indicate which direction hotels are have not been updated. So if you are looking on foot it is very difficult to find. Then of course none of the local inhabitants are familiar with the Golden Tulip.
7.5 Good
Pros: The reception staff were exceptional and did everything possible to help us have a great stay
Cons: The photos of the room were not true representation balcony was in desparate need of repair

Cons: Room decor a little tired... but clean
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location it was just on the edge of the city. Very quiet and peaceful. Fantastic spa and good restaurant.
Cons: The only thing that bugged me a little were the net curtains and the street lamp outside. Because the curtains were so thin the light come straight into the room making it difficult to sleep some nights.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Had an excellent stay. Staff very very helpful. We arrived early and they gave us our room.
Cons: Did not like the fact that those using the Spa came to the breakfast room in bathrobes.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location, right on the beach was great. The view from our sea view room was fantastic. and the pool was good but you have to wear a swimming hat! The room was clean and comfy, great shower, the only down side was no tea or coffee facilities in the room. The bar/shop did serve coffee but only the little plastic pots of milk, which was a shame for such a nice hotel! We would return though.
7.0 Good
Pros: We only stayed the one night so unfortunately didn't experience the facilities available so can only answer this on the room. My biggest hate on staying in hotel rooms is a bathrom which hasn't been cleaned properly. The bathroom in our room was extremely clean, fresh and modern. Love the shower.
Cons: Parking
5.3 Okay
Pros: the spa facilities.
Cons: room service limited
6.7 Good
Pros: The location and the wonderful swimming facilities although it would be nice to be told in advance that swimming hats were required in the pool instead of being shouted at when one arrived without one!
Cons: Nothing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The fantastic spa facilities, the closeness to the sea, the tasty and healthy breakfast and the friendly staff.
Cons: That the healthy diet set menu was not available to customers not on a specific spa package. I would have been happy to pay the cost, but was told it was not available other than to guests on the 'diet spa package'.
6.8 Good
Pros: What was needed for an overnight stay as Roscoff is a ferry port. Good facilities.
Cons: No.
7.6 Good
Pros: Close to the Beach - Excellent Bathroom facilities
Cons: rooms a little small.
5.2 Okay
Pros: The food was good and the hotels stuation excellent, right on the beach.
Cons: No veggie options on the menu. Cleanliness in the room could have been better, there was broken glass on the balcony and a suspicious puddle in the toilet!
4.8 Okay
Pros: view, access to swimming pools.
Cons: unhelpful staff. bar closed at 10.00 before sunset out of the large viewing windows!!! additional to booked room rate, we were charged for sea view and breakfast without asking (extra 40eur), so got it refunded. parking and drop off of baggage not easy and not helped by staff.
