Pros: Front desk staff amazing. Facility very, very clean. Bed and linens lovely. Location perfect.
Cons: Price could be a bit more reasonable. Perhaps a locals rate? Would love to stay more often but can’t justify the expense.
Cons: I love the costumer service, down to earth conversations, and always a smile on their face.
Pros: the views and amenities wer really good.good location.
Cons: i had to leave..
Cons: WiFi wouldn't connect
Cons: Nothing exceptional about this place to make it worth the price premium over anything else in town. Not bad, but certainly not fancy.
Pros: The whole resort was very clean and we loved the atmosphere.
Cons: The room was fairly small for the price but overall was super cute and comfortable!
Pros: Location is good. Easy walking distance to town stores. Staff is very friendly and always available. Have ski lockers available near the parking area and INSIDE the hotel. The only very upscale restaurant in a town that is super low key. Would make for more romantic couple/honeymoon get away if that is what your looking for. Provided power strips to make up for paucity of outlets. Going green program provides a discount to in house restaurant.
Cons: Room was rather small. Very dark in room. Additional lamps and/or brighter bulbs would be better. Bright and efficient bulbs have come way down in price and would fit well with their going green program. PARKING (under hotel) area fills up early and is difficult to maneuver a large vehicle in.
Pros: Clean room in Rossland. Friendly staff. Great inside cafe for breakfast. Great view from room. Only a short drive to ski areas with lots of free parking.
Cons: Rooms a bit tired.
Pros: Liked the hot tub
Cons: The sauna wasn’t working the whole time and the hot tub didn’t work for part of it. There were rarely towels in the hot tub room.
Pros: Nice room, comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff

Pros: Excellent modern rooms, good size and very comfortable. The bathrooms were large and very well laid out and a good selection of toiletries provided. Great common guest area with kitchenette. Helpful and friendly hosts, good recommendation for dinner.
Pros: The host and hostess were friendly and very gracious. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable....the facilities were clean and tasteful.....and the husband had done the construction on the home so there was a great story involved. He also cooked our omelet which was very flavorful. The home sat right over the Columbia River so we watched eagles soar and ducks dive. It was perfect.
Cons: It was a perfect visit....nothing could make it better.

Pros: Updated and super clean
Cons: On the outside of our room there was a loud fan on all night! The constant humming drove me insane. We were missing the coffee carafe, mugs, and ingredients to make coffee in the am.
Pros: Staff at complimentary breakfast.
Cons: Spa hot tub closed.
Pros: Very close to old downtown and restaurants.
Cons: The dinner at Foxy's was not a great experience. Too cold with AC on,they could not turn it down Apparently. the music was so loud that people were shouting at each other, yet the staff did not seem to get it, lighting was so low needed cell to see
Pros: Location, very clean, excellent service
Cons: The restaurant food quality is not the best.
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful. very accommodating!
Cons: Hubby had surgery at the hospital here, and when we got back, he was craving chocolate milk, went to the dining rm to get a glass, $5 later in a small coffee cup, ridiculous.
Pros: Close to arena for hockey camp.
Pros: Rooms were nice, clean and helpful staff
Cons: They charged me an additional 7.50 per night for my 2 yr old....
Pros: Great staff, particularly Alex, who recommended an excellent Italian restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. Good facilities and nice quiet location.
Pros: Breakfast area. We were served coffee and treated so well by a young man named AJ. Thanks AJ.

With a stay at Ray Lyn Motel in Trail, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Red Mountain Resort and Columbia Mountains. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Didn't expect breakfast, as it was not in the listing.
Cons: Bathroom was O.K.
Pros: It was what we expected for the price. Basic accommodation, nothing fancy, but clean and acceptable. Staff was helpful at check in. We were only in the room during the evenings as we were out golfing during the day.
Cons: Tried to sit outside in the evening, but many other guests were outside their rooms smoking while sitting on the chairs provided to each room. I had to go back in the room as the smoking was annoying. It would be better to remove the chairs, small tables and ashtrays outside each room and have a designated smoking area away from the room doors. Rooms were non-smoking, but if you left your door open the smoke entered the room. There was a picnic table nearby under the trees in the shade that could have been used for a smoking area. In this way the other guests would not be bothered. The bed was ok, but a little sagged in the middle. Alright for a two night stay, but could use an upgrade. We lost tv during one evening due to a Shaw cable issue (not the motel's fault), but a little annoying since sitting outside in the smoke was not great. Spent time sitting on the bed reading instead.
Pros: Comfortable bed, pillows not so much
Pros: We were just staying 1 night on a motorcycle trip. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Right across the street was a good restaurant. All we could ask for.
Pros: Convenient location just off the highway. Close to Rossland and Trail. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pros: This is an older motel and is starting to show it's age but the beds were super comfy, the rooms were quiet and the air conditioner was great! Overall a great bargain for the price. The only complaint was - no hair dryer but fortunately I didn't need one this trip.
Pros: Our host was fantastic. A lovely lady. Happy and kind. The rooms were clean and well taken care of. Close to town and a relaxed and inviting area. Great value.
Cons: Smoking is permitted just outside the rooms, unfortunately, in the hot weather the air conditioning would draw in the smell of the cigarettes occasionally. It was not really bad, just something I noticed.
Pros: It was clean and quiet. Comfortable bed
Pros: It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and very accommodating. You get a mountain view on either side. As well there is a steakhouse across the road for a relaxing dinner. Definitely good value for the price.
Pros: Great location along Hey 3 just outside (1.5km) of Trail
Cons: No pool or fining; however it is within skiing area and close to surrounding facilities. Can’t complain given the very reasonable price. I would recommend for short 1-2 day stays
With a stay at Rossland Red Mt. Inn and Suites in Rossland, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Red Mountain Resort and Columbia Mountains. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff was outstanding and the beds extremely comfortable.
Cons: There were other noisy people staying at the inn first night but after that the noise level went way down. The staff handled the noise professionally and respectfully.
Pros: Gal at desk very nice and helpful. Rooms clean breakfast good. Price good. Basic but good. No air conditioner although cooler when we rode through on motorcycle so room was comfortable with window open. Not much toad noise when we stayed. Right off highway. Short walk into town.
Cons: No air conditioning First short part to walk on highway shoulder.
Pros: The location, price, room, breakfast and staff were all fantastic.
Cons: The rooms were a bit small, but that was about the only thing I can say. It was not a negative. It was just a cozy space for three people sharing one room.
Pros: It had beds
Cons: Weak breakfast
Pros: Always like clean which it was. Room was sufficient.
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing and entire place needs updating
Pros: The bed was ridiculously comfy. Holy. Staff went beyond our expectations. We wanted a quiet room so the receptionist kindly moved us to one away from other guests (As we are light sleepers). My car also had a coolant leak and the hotel owner convoyed us to a mechanic he knew to check the engine all for free and out of kindness. He then drove us up to the ski hill so my car could cool down. Everyone was so lovely and went beyond their job description to help us out and suit our needs.
Cons: The toilet functioning was a little slow and a bit worrisome as the water level rises nearly reaching the top. Just be gentle dropping the kids off at the pool ;)
Pros: Friendly staff and a good selection for breakfast (hot food, fresh fruit). Pleasantly clean and comfortable considering the budget friendly rates. It was less than a 10 min walk to town centre. Oh, and a clean hot tub!
Pros: Beds were super comfy. Staff was great, we all had a great stay. Kids loved the hot tub, I did too! They allowed us a late check out so they could enjoy the water before we left! We happened to check in late & didnt have time at night (Thanks again for this! Totally made their day) Great value for the price, relaxing place to stay while passing through. Check in was simple and quick. Gave me what I had requested in regards of a view for the kids! Thank you for the good nights sleep
Cons: Hot tub could have been cleaner but was perfect temperature and we had a blast! Breakfast stops at 9:30
Pros: Friendly, helpful managers. Good breakfast.
Cons: The room, like so many motel rooms, lacks good ventilation unless you put on the noisy air conditioner or noisy bathroom fan.
Pros: The rooms are always clean, they renovated from the last time I was there so it was really nice and comfortable and the night staff lady was awesome & friendly she told us about the pizza place up the road which was incredible and the walking trails for your fur babies are close or within walking distance
Cons: There’s nothing negative to say
Cons: Check in was poor. No one there. No one answered phone until several calls were made.

Cons: Pool closed, room smelt of cigarettes
Pros: Excellent motel. From outside it looks a little outdated but all of he rooms have been redone and are very nice. Clean and comfortable with an indoor AND outdoor pool. Very good stay with great, friendly staff.
Cons: The only down side was there were no restaurants within walking distance. You have to drive to any options for food.
Pros: Super friendly staff. Awesome comfortable bed and sparkling clean. This place really cares about your stay.
Pros: Good breakfast, enjoyed the pools and hot tub
Pros: The room was spectacular and the front desk clerk was so helpful!
Cons: Would have preferred more options at breakfast and the pool was freezing!
Cons: Dead bugs in the bathroom upon arrival. Room smelled like cigarettes. A/C didn’t reach the 2nd bedroom. Fresh towels were not provided with room service. Wayyy to expensive for the quality.
Pros: Clean rooms
Cons: Small window time for breakfast on s Saturday morning.
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Seems to be a motel for road crews to bunk in , not really a fun place for families. Noisy and breakfast area small for the size of the property and number of rooms. Did not check out the pool area.
Pros: The pools were great, very clean and good temp. And there are two!!! The rooms were comfortable clean and spacious. The breakfast included was fantastic. The staff was friendly and courteous.
Cons: No complaints at all.
Pros: The front desk agent was very friendly and the location is good
Cons: The carpet is filthy, there was bits of paper behind the door and food crumbs everywhere. No way it had been vacuumed.

Cons: The bed was not very good at all. The place is very beat up.
Pros: Comfy beds
Cons: Extra small fridge and no microwave in my room
Pros: Bed was comfy
Cons: Blood on pillow case
Pros: Restaurant food was awesome. Service was also very good.
Cons: Air Conditioner would not cool the room, the unit was too small for the larger sized room.
Pros: Location and staff. Rooms were clean and comfy
Cons: On site restaurant was tasty but not enough selection.
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful. Handy bar and liquor store.
Cons: No light from one of the lamps. TV tricky to operate. Building worn down.
Pros: Big, clean rooms. 30 min from RED Mountain Resort. Easy checkin/check out.
Cons: The restaurant was supposed to open at 5, but when we went down at 5:30 it was still closed. When I asked the lady at the desk, she was polite enough, but basically said we were out of luck. They didn’t allow minors in the pub, so we went into town for dinner.

Pros: loved the clean rustic charm!!! super friendly people .great location!!!
Cons: stairs were a bit scary for my mom and kids (railing is a bit of a hazard)
Pros: red the cat & the fireplace les cabaniers l'ontarien & the kiwi
Pros: Older, but very cozy ski chalet just a few steps from the base of the ski hill. Fantastic beds, awesome living room area, and the sweetest cat ever named Red. Caretakers Brandon and Meg are great - available if needed, but not omnipresent. The hot tub and sauna are clean and well maintained. We stayed just before season opening and had the entire chalet ... and Red
Cons: If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to gave a few small plates for snacks and microwaving.
Pros: The location is off the beaten path as it is at a ski resort. We loved the big red cat.
Cons: The rooms are up a floor or two with a narrow stairway and no elevator - so travel light :) No amenities in the room - ie no fridge, microwave or clock. Shower was nice but very small.
Pros: VERY GOOD HOSTS, Great hot tub and Sauna,
Cons: No Air conditioning, in Summer you have to drive to get food.
Pros: We loved the cozy chalet style and the welcome of our hostess Meg. So sweet! We felt like home. It was a nice stay. Just to let other guests know: you have WiFi, fridge (maybe a little small for everybody!) a coffee maker and a boiler in the living room. TV also. We made great bbq outside! And loved playing with Red the mascotte! We could also put our bikes in a room locked.
Pros: For staying at Red Mountain the location could not be better. Even though we stayed in the off season access to the mountain was ideal. It is a chalet with other people staying there. They owners have created an atmosphere that encourages guests to gather and be social (if you want to). A picnic table, couches and a fridge to keep your beer cold!! Plus the cat is the most chill animal EVER!!
Pros: Brandon was great, super nice guy and very helpful. The complementary breakfast was the best I have ever had. Was better then a Five Star restaurant and it was included in the room!!!. Thank you
