Pros: Excellent hotel,in a stunning location next to the fjord. Everything was perfect: friendly staff, comfortable room, wonderful facilities, and excellent and delicious breakfast and dinner. After being there we regretted having stayed only for one night. The scenery is amazing,a hidden gem!!
Pros: Wonderful location with great view , superb personnel and great facilities
Pros: Fornt desk manager Jane was very helpful
Cons: Small rooms
Pros: Cozy Marina hotel. Good location. Breakfast was simple but nice. Nice staffs.
Pros: The position of the hotel on the fjord made for some lovely views The food was delicious if somewhat limited Breakfast was very good with lots of choice Very friendly helpful staff
Cons: Due to its position double rooms all say they have a ‘view’. We got quite excited therefore about having a lovely view across the fjord. The reality was that we had a room in the eaves with 2 small windows one of which was very high up. It is true that if you looked up through the top window you could glimpse the top of a mountain and if you craned your neck left at the other window you would also see a mountain BUT I would hardly call it a room with a view - more of a ‘partial view’ would be a fairer description. Sæbø is beautiful but there’s not a lot there so you have to eat in the hotel. This is OK because the food was very good BUT the choice each night is limited - one starter, one dessert and a choice of just 2 main dishes.
Pros: Lovely location, right by the fjord and very close to walking trails. Nice breakfast. One lady in the reception very helpful and pleasant.
Cons: It's an ok hotel but the images you see are mostly from common areas. We were placed in a cottage away from the main building which wasn't very nice. The cottage did not have TV for instance as promised when booking a double room. If you travel with your dog, note that it is only welcome in the room and not in the restaurant or other common areas. It is not a very dog friendly hotel and to be honest not all staff are very service minded either. The general feeling is that this hotel is run by amateurs, and it lacks experience and service. It's not very professional and it's a shame as the location is lovely.

Pros: Very friendly host and freshly renovated and modern room.
Cons: Shared bathroom was bit outdated.
Pros: Nothing really but given the price you get what you expect.
Cons: The place badly needs refurbishing, breakfast was beyond pathetic.
Pros: Nice hostel, friendly staff, got prepared breakfast earlier since we needed to leave, overall clean and comfy. Available kitchen with appliances where you can prepare light meal yourself. Bathroom and toilet in the end on hall - clean.
Pros: Very friendly helpful staff. Comfortable, clean and spacious room.
Pros: Easy check-in and quiet location. Central. Host is welcoming.
Cons: Not the biggest variety of food for breakfast, but all the main things needed are there, no shampoo or shower gel.
Pros: Very nice people and comfortable room. Good quality for the price.
Cons: The entrance was not inviting. It is a disadvantage for guest not decided to enter or not. The inside lobby is correcting this 1st bad impression.

Pros: The beds were very ok and the hygiene also
Cons: Old. Deteriorated. Unfriendly personnel
Pros: Clean room, friendly staff.
Cons: Little to choose from during breakfast. Not worth ca.150kr that a breakfast usually costs. Everything in the buffet was in very little small plates and you basically empty it before other guests can have the same. No tomato beans to the omelette. Only 2-3 omelettes at a time, need to wait extra for them to come. Disappointing in comparison to a standard norwegian hotel breakfast.
Cons: the toilet
Pros: Location was great, just about 7kms from Volda airport (I had a car)! The staff esp. the Chef and his wife were very friendly, courteous and recommended food to me explaining the reasons for suggesting the dish! Highly recommended.
Pros: Room was very clean, with beautiful views of the fjord around Volda. Breakfast was great, WiFi quick and steady. The staff polite and helpful. Car parking huge.
