It is a beautiful facility
The hotel was very nice. The staff was great with few exception. Nice quaint seaside town. Good for a 3-4 day trip. Had a good breakfast at hotel every day. We had a fantastic dinner at Niger Reef Tea House on the water. We went on a whale watch and saw whales to boot! Great vistas everywhere. Great exchange rate.
The room was very small though clean with comfy bed. If you are looking for a swimming beach not many options the water is too cold and the tide seems to always be low with seaweed and rocks. The indoor pool was Great with a fun slide.
The location and building was excellent. The breakfast buffet omelette chef was very good. The patio and view were very nice. The grounds were very nice.
The breakfast buffet service was sometimes slow. There was no 'brown' bread sometimes and the selection of preserves was limited. Occasionally there were no 'home fries' and had to wait. It seemed there were less than needed service staff resulting in having to wait longer than reasonable for coffee (Not the fault of the staff who were most polite & helpful). Often we stirred our coffee with a knife since there were no spoons wrapped in the napkin. The patio off the room was very nice but the chair cushions and table were covered in bird droppings!
The staff was helpful in accommodating our arriving one day early due to the hurricane preventing us for traveling to Nova Scotia. The staff made us feel comfortable, provided a lovely room with a view. Great experience, will return.
Mgmt offered a mini fridge for our room and it was promptly delivered.
