Pros: The inn is located just a block from the waterfront and boutiques/shops, but on a quiet residential street in the older part of town, within walking distance of all points of interest. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. My husband and I are both particular about pillows, but in different ways; however, we both found the pillows to be excellent! The breakfast was beautiful and delicious, and the staff were very accommodating to dietary restrictions. Everything was wonderful!
Cons: We stayed for two nights and found nothing to complain about!

Pros: My husband is still raving about how much he liked our stay at the Picket Fence Motel. I agree. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable as well as very available. The town of St Andrew NB was a wonderful destination with lots to do.We went out on the Jolly Breeze, a tall ship, for a whale watch cruise. We enjoyed great food at the restaurants by the waterfront. We walked the Kingsbrae Gardens - beautiful and expansive, The gardens were a little pricey but we got a money off coupon at the motel office. And we took an evening shore walk down by the blockhouse. All these were a short drive from the motel. The motel room was spotless, the beds and pillows wonderfully comfortable, and the shower hot and strong.
Cons: We didn't see a moose but the hosts said that was a good thing and we wished we could have stayed another day.

Pros: St.Andrews is a lovely little town, and this hotel is so perfect in it's setting. I really liked all the huge vintage prints of the hotel and it's guests from a long bygone era. It was really cool, especially as the hotel itself has been brought up to modern standards of comfort.
The room was a little small, but the bed was really comfortable and the furnishings and finishings were really nice.
I would stay here again.
