Great people and great service. The people who work there make this place special. You are part of the family. They want to make everything possible for your stay to be memorable. It is right next to the Central Bus Station. However, three are not that much noise.
It was clean and staff was friendly. The price was high compared to a nicer hotel down the street, and the street of the hotles location was bad, full of crack heads and thiefs.
A very good location and nice and friendly staff.
The staff were very helpful within reason. It is extremely well located next to the bus terminal for provincial ++ destinations plus Dorval (PET) airport and the subway system as well as a reasonably good nightlife area with a variety of bars and restaurants at good rates servicing the University students in the area. The hotel has two free internet points in the lobby using up to date portables. Many people seem to bring their own laptops but it is still very useful for those who don't travel wired. The breakfast was bare bones to the minimum. The hotel room's electrical accessories were old and missing pieces like TV channel changers. The hotel is stuck between being a hostel and a hotel and the room price seems at odds with some of the services (see breakfast above) and its clientel (many European and other nationality "student travelers".
Staff were extremely friendly and courteous
Being new in Montreal, the staff were very helpful in making our stay comfortable with a smile at all times.
most of all, the staff. Very nice and eager to talk and assist.
attentiveness and friendliness of staff
Staff was really friendly and got to know their customers
Extremely helpful staff and a very attractive interior
Very friendly and helpful staff, a nice, simple hotel, close to the city centre. The room was bit stuffy and could have used a bit more ventilation, however it was not bad otherwise.
A very friendly staff and great location
The hotel is quaint and centrally located. It provides easy access to major amenities and is close to shopping and dining areas of the city.
Value for money Too tiny room
Parking free and was near to town facilities/attractions No tea/coffee facilities provided. Area poor/seedy. Hotel not really up to standard for price.
Clean, comfortable rooms with full baths. Staff very helpful and friendly. Free parking a definite plus. One block from major subway hub station. Excellent supermarket nearby. Modest breakfast. Neighborhood may be considered by some guests as less than desirable.
Good staff Dark room overlooking yard
The location of the hotel, close to Quartier Latin and Vieux Montreal, is excellent. The rooms have recently been renovated and are kept very clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast room was crowded.
It was nice and clean and quit the workers were grate and frendly and when I wanted help to find places they were so grate and I speak english and they did a good job for me to understand what they were saying and that is rare in montreal but your people were grate and thank you for that ,, that made my stay much easer and felt welcome I will surely stay there again any time I go back to montreal
Clean, friendly, not noisy, cheap for location. No air conditioning and no flow of air through the room - made it very hot and humid at night.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The location was ideal. Excellent value for money.
I did not like the hotel and left after one night even though my reservation was for four. the rooms are very small and unequipped. there is a kitchenette but nothing in it. there is nothing in the room but a bed. I reserved an apartment and while there I found out I am expected to share a bathroom, even though there is no reference to it in the site...
location, functional design of unit, cleanliness - no information about the associated parking, especially which area to park in when staying at the residences - it was so hot during my stay; I wonder if fans could be made available to guests - waiting in line, the persons in front of me were having difficulty explaining themselves in English where the question related to the availability of a toaster for their room - since some rooms have kitchenettes, it would be helpful to know what, if any, small appliances were available (at no change/deposit/or nominal fee) - a microwave or toaster would be helpful, especially for a family
Nothing July 9, 2010
the location was very convenient for shopping and access to the "Just for laughs' festival. no air conditioning
The very central position, available for all my interests Not being able to open the windows in the room; could turn bad for a claustrophobic
Inexpensive, clean, staff helpful. Very firm mattress, which is essential for me. Internet hookup. Basic kitchen, which I could have used, but didn't need on this trip. window doesn't open enough, which made it hot, but there was a good fan.
It was a small room, but it had everything I needed including a stove, mini-fridge, dresser and desk. It was very clean, and an excellent choice for the price. There were no services (cleaning room, mini-shampoo, towels, ect.) unless requested for, but they did have it available.
The location is great! In the centre of Montreal and near to most tourist attractions. You don't even needed a car if you stay hear. Rooms were in good conditions. For the price you pay I think they're more than excellent. This is a resident for college students and the beds were not confortable. I don't think my back would had standed it any longer.
Location and price I let the hot water run for 10 minutes and it never even got warm. I had to take a freezing cold shower!
