Very cosy out of the way hotel. Convenient for Versailles and the Chateau as I had a car.
Connected rooms beside the main building are good choice for family with more than four member.
The room was neat and tidy enough for the price. Beware, The hotel door closes at 11:00pm
Well located to visit Versailles if you have a car. Free parking.
Nice quiet hotel and location. Close proximity to Versailles and train station. The shower hose holder was broken and we had to improvise by attaching the shower hose to the holder with a sock.
I liked the friendly staff and not having to fill in a form the moment you arrive, or even later. Proper toilet rolls needed please!!! The tiny little pink tissues were totally inadaquate.
Staff very friendly. Rooms had nice space. Difficult to find. Few amenities within walking distance.
Breakfast was adequate. Towels changed every day and toiletries available. Room was clean and comfortable and free wifi in the room. Free parking. No english tv available without paying and no restaurants close by, nearest bars were about 20mins walk. Staff not too helpful and garden was very tiny, advert for hotel a bit misleading regarding the garden. No teamaking facilities in room. Late trains from Paris do not go directly to St. Cyr L'ecole so had to get a taxi back late at night from Versailles and no-one explained this to us.
Overall it was a very pleasant stay There were no bad points to speak of
the location, near to Versailles, but everything else is a big cheating... The pictures what we saw on the internet in the reality was completelly different. In the garden of the hotel there is two little house, where originally they kept the garden tools ...and after they transfered as a hotel room...no isolation, all walls were humid and mouldy , was a strong mildew smell, since i have an asthma, i could not really sleep well all night long. The wall's painting was coming down, the blanket was dirty We asked to change the room, so we got the next door "garden tools room " since it had a common wall with the previous one it was the same condition. and all this things for 78 euro, i would never recommend to sleep there. Internet which was published also on the website of course in a garden tool suite,,,didn't work
The location - good for The Palace (15 min walk) yet far enough away for peace & quiet. Good car parking Bar was quiet and often un-manned.
Clean and comfortable Novotel, as ever
The rooms are nice and the whole building is well designed. The employees could deliver more service towards clients.
Modern and comfortable with good facilities 10 minute walk from the Palace of Versailles. Good location if you want to see Versailles, but long ride on the train from Paris.
Restaurant was good and people were friendly. Garage parking was difficult. Hotel advertised as air conditioned, but it is on a hotel-wide basis and cannot be controlled in the room. Our room was too warm and we were unable to cool it off. Also, the Mapquest directions to the hotel were incorrect. We drove around for at least an hour trying to find it, and it was very conveniently located for visiting Versailles.
a good position for touring and visiting the chateau provided you are prepared for a 20 minute walk restaurant was good but with a limited menu
We found the staff very helpfull. The asscess from the garage was very difficult, The garage.
It was clean, comfortable, close to Chateau and domain of Versailles, quaiet, good parking, very nice staff.
Style and decor, nice bar, nice breakfast, very clean. One member of staff was a little dismissive, others were fine.
The room was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The window opened- unusual in modern hotels. The parking system was easy and secure.
Excellent service and comfort Desk was unclear about what was included in all-inclusive deal.
The hotel was fantastic, I used to stay in good hotels, but I've never stayed in a hotel like Trianon. Bring nice clothes to get confortable. nothing
Trianon Palace is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. The grounds are a pleasure to walk through. It is conveniently placed for the town and the Palace of Versailles. The staff are polite and attentive. One of the lifts was not working when we arrived and was still not working when we left. The one lift that was working was very slow. The hotel is very expensive. This is to be expected for a hotel of this quality, buIt is particularly noticeable when you add up the extras - parking is 20 euros per night, breakfast is 33 euros.
Great location, comfortable bed, superb location. Did not like staying in the pavillion... Would prefer to be in the main building. Had to request baby cot and roll out bed twice!
Really liked the relaxed atmosphere in the bar. The cleanliness of the bed linen and the bathroom. And the service by all staff was exceptional.
It was near the event I was attending so few minures walk to return hotel which was good Everything was so so slow. Wait for food 30 minutes, wait to finish checking-in for 30 minutes.
I loved the grounds and our little girl loved playing in there. The room was lovely and spacious and the staff were excellent.
Excellent concierge services--available into evening. Spaciousness of 2 bed room and bathroom with nice balcony. Helpful staff. Free valet parking (need to tip) that allowed in and out if desired. Beautiful pool area with outside patio for lounging, coffee/tea/water available. Verandah restaurant very pleasant, but expensive. The hotel is next to the queen's gate entrance, which allows free entrance into garden areas every day (but limited access on "musical garden" days)--this seemed to be very popular for runners, bicyclists, picnickers, walkers, and so on. As Hilton members, we were treated to a few lovely extras -- water, fruit bowl, 2 free drinks. The old building, though beautiful, results in the usual Waldorf Astoria luxury not being quite up to par. We loved our room, but the deep soaking tub took forever to fill and the temperature of the water was extremely difficult to regulate. The air conditioning control had not yet been updated, so that we required assistance --- but that did work. Shower a little tricky but manageable. The Guerlain spa was not up to the standards I expected from visits to other Guerlain spas -- it was tricky to enter/exit, did not have quite the attentive service I am used to, and the massage was not what I expected--fairly standard "relaxation" kind of massage, not deep tissue, though that was what was booked.
The rooms in the Pavilion where we stayed were tastefully decorated, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. Room service was great - prompt and tasty. The highlight was the spa, I had a really fantastic prenatal massage that got rid of all aches and pains. The air-conditioning unit in the room was impossible to figure out! Luckily the windows opened so when it was a little stuffy we were able to air the room.
The distance to the castle and conference location
You can't ask for a closer location to the Palace of Versailles and the parking is priceless. Cafes to the hotel nearby sell tickets to the Palace. We didn't take the breakfast but probably should have. Nearby cafes were very expensive.
Great location. Very clean rooms. Nice decor. Lovely staff. Good wifi in our room. We bought our own breakfast and were told we could not eat the rooms. They were still so accommodating in the dining room while we ate our own stuff.
Nicely refdecorated hotel offering a great location for the Chateau de Versailles. Large comfortable room. Staff are very helpful. Internet very slow connection. Breakfast is quite expensive
Close to velizy commercial center The enviroment around the hotel is not so good and the hotel instruction is not clear
Wireless internet, free parking Poor breakfast
Large size room - kettle and sink were neat - bathroom with bath AND walk in shower - free internet - Nearest Hippos Steak restaurant good and friendly lack of restaurant and proper sized breakfast area - landmark next to IKEA not advertised by yourselves - local streets system make it hard to find as it is hidden away behind IKEA and an offfice block. Nearest Hippos Steak restaurant an unpleasant walk if raining.
some times we can enjoy the music event at the small stage.
Good enough for business trip.
Away from Paris Parking under the hotel building was entering a very tight car, magnetic card to use the door of the room and elevator does not work sometimes
Rooms are quite large and well fitted. Hotel staff is friendly. Good idea with the snack bar. Breakfast too light for the price of the hotel. Difficult too achieve, our taxi driver lost about 20 minutes to find the entrance to the parking.
Everything ok - spacious rooms
spatious rooms with modern design. Nice office corner Both fixed ethernet and wifi have a performance issues. Really zaps you back to pre-broadband age.
Safe location, clean, quiet, modern. Friendly staff
Small room and affordable. Good location in the city. Quiet. We went with a bunk bed setup, and one of the days they did not make the bed for the bunk bed (top bed). The front desk did not speak a lot of English, but we managed to get the information we needed.
Simple but effective! Tried to charge us 12 euro each for breakfast but no problem changing to 9.80 when we queried it
location, parking, efficient rooms, breakfast access from garage with luggage. elevator blocked with cars had to use stairs with luggage. not a small issue as we had been traveling for over a month.
Recently renovated, modern and clean, very good value for money. Offstreet parking for €11. Would recommend.
Location. The staff was very helpful. The room was a bit small, but you are there to see things not sit in a hotel room.
convenient for markets and restaurants
The location of the hotel was very good. The staff at the reception was very nice and helpful. Breakfast facilities were poor. No, it was living up to my expectations.
the hotel was recently renewed. Room really small, the soap/shower gel never filled in in 5 days...
The hotel was near the Versailles Chateau, about 7 min walking. The staff was friendly, there is a parking garage and it is near the RER station for Paris. The breakfast was in standard, also the room.
very small room and bed, medieval
The hotel was clean and the staff were lovely. The rooms were of a high standard, much better than the amount of stars that the hotel has ! The location was a bit hard to find, but was close to the chateau and the train stations. The nearby restaurants were also varied and very good. I would recommend this hotel highly.
Great location. Within minutes of the chateau. Very small room even in EUROPEAN standards.
Location is amazing. Right across street from Paris train and Starbucks next door!! Bathroom needs a little more work (cleanliness).
Personal was nice The hot water did not work the first night. After that it worked
Convenient to reach from the motorway and you can park your car in the hotel grounds. Quiet location. Rooms nicely decorated. Swimming pool. Menu choice in the restaurant could have been more extensive and food better prepared.
The hotel was comfortable, and convenient to walk to dinner. Breakfast was good. Especially liked the organic section. It is possible to expand the variety of fresh fruits and some vegetarian items for breakfast.
Warm swimming pool is very nice to children. Shopping center is very close and convenient to buy something. Enough space of parking lot
Big rooms, decent breakfast Extra charge of eur 10 for Internet and eur 20 for the breakfast. Advertised price at booking.com for breakfast of eur 7 is not correct.
The floor in my room was so cold it literally hurt to stand on it. The front desk staff was at best arrogant. The Wi-Fi was spotty.
The food is excellent, the room is clean and staff are friendly.
Booked on line when I arrived at the hotel there was no record of the booking evn though I ahd a compiter printout of the booking
Clean and good after hours service. The toilet extraction fan does not seem to work very well.
Convenient for visiting Paris and Versailles Although it was relatively out of the way, it was not quiet during the night as it's in the middle of an industrial estate. Also a coach party arrived around 11:30pm and the coach sat with its engine running for about 20minutes. The shower didn't work as the pipe was full of holes.
Close to Versaille and Paris
very quiet hotel in the country near von Versailles or Paris with the high way
Hotel very clean and quiet. Hotel staff nice
With the smoking ban now extended to France the opening onto the hotel grounds was a boon. In the bathroom the shower head was fitted about 2 metres off the bath floor. Ok for people of restricted growth but not very appropriate for average height people.
Reasonable proximity to Versailles Small room for 3 people
The room and bath were clean and in nice condition. The hotel has free wireless internet, which we find very useful. We arrived at the hotel about 17:00, on July 13th. The door was locked, and there was no one at the reception desk. A page on the door showed our name, as a new arrival, and indicated the room number where we would be staying, but we could not enter through the locked door. A message said to call the hotel phone number, but we had no phone to call from. Another hotel guest eventually let us in, and told us the combination to the electronic lock on the hotel door. Our key was in the door to our room. The next morning, a receptionist was at the hotel desk.
Good Value for money, close to supermarket
Close to Versailles palace, quite hotel, friendly staff. Renovation overall is needed.
I really loved the atmosphere here and the close access to all the special areas in Versailles. They need to work on storage while staying for longer visits. They need draw space and a little bit newer furniture at this price level.
Location is perfect, near the Chateau. Interior is very modern, not inviting. Bathrooms need makeover: shower in bath etc. Very small and badly equiped wellness, turkish bath was out of order
fitness and sauna The restaurant and the breakfast room were closed and we had to wait our turn for the brekfast
The whole experience was a great experienceN
The location of this hotel was excellent, just 200m walk from the front door of the Château - there is nothing better. The staff was excellent, helpfully pointing out the lovely square close by that was full of great restaurants. The breakfast was not worth the cost. We should have gone out for breakfast, but as we wanted to beat the crowds we had no easy choice.
Very expensive as 4 stars hotel, with normal rooms and normal facilities charging for the internet Wi Fi connection is not necessary since they are charging high rates for the rooms, good hotels provids Wi Fi free as a facility,
Excellent loction near to Chateau de Versailles, very friendly and helpful staff, hotel very neat although somewhat impersonal, free wifi. Own covered garage None.
Location ideal for visiting the Palais de Versailles. Friendly and efficient staff at reception and conciergerie. Bathroom rather 'cramped'. Some attention to decoration (e.g. peeling paint) needed.
Very close to all facilities in Versailles Inability of the reception staff to properly recognise an Accor A-Club member
Very close to the Palace of Versailles and various restaurants, hotel adequate for our needs of 2 nights
staff were excellent, room was very clean, hotel was very "cute" very romantic
The hotel was lovely, staff were very friendly, Room was spotless, Would recommend for people wanting a more traditional place to stay rather than a large commercial hotel that crop up everywhere nowadays.
Staff very helpfull and friendly location very good warm cosy homely room seize very good for France very modern good breakfast
Friendly and helpful Rooms were small for family room
Concierge was especially helpful and gracious. I loved that I was able to open the window in my room. Small bathroom . A little musty when I moved in.
On both nights there were only enough towels, toiletries etc for one person. On both occasions this was pointed out to Reception who promply forgot to deliver the missing items. Bathroom lacked any ventilation and room filled with condensation. Room far from 'deluxe'
Good location Being given incorrect information about location of petrol stations that sent us across town when there was one just around the corner
Decor good, breakfast good, breakfast room charming. Bedroom a little small for a delux,
Charming Hotel, lovely decor, good food. Gardens and courtyards were particularly attractive being on different levels with interesting plants and flowers. We loved it. Nothing. Would definitely go again. Maybe the lack of lifts and the many steps would not be suitable for older and infirm people.
Our room was large and had a view of the lake and trees. We saw another room which was much smaller but still very well furnished and with views to the lake. The food is very good but relatively expensive. The restaurant is by the lake, request a lakeside table if you want to enjoy the view. The restaurant is covered but open on the sides.
Good sized room. Nice view over courtyard. No availability of table for evening meal in preferred dining room and for preferred menu, even though we arrived at 6.00 p.m. and the restaurants were not due to open until 7.30 p.m. Wedding party went on late into the night disturbing our sleep. Expensive charge for breakfast. Disinterested staff.
Bathrooms were very clean. Staff pleasant. No pool or tennis courts. Beds very saggy; bedding cheap - pillows infirm and blanket and sheet instead of a duvet is archaic. It is too far away from any amenities meaning you either have to spend every hour there or drive to anywhere you want to go and pay for parking, making sure you have change for all the car parks and parking meters in your purse - bring a huge bag of change with you! Ville d'Avray not particularly nice. Hotel should offer a minibus service to Versailles and Paris. There is no incentive to stay there when you could be in a city centre hotel. I am also unsure how it has four stars as it lacks leisure facilities.
The room was comfortable and spacious and the food in the Cafe restuarant was of a good standard The hotel were preparing for three functions and the staff were so engaged with these, we received rather poor service. To get pre dinner drinks we had to find the barman and we had the feeling that as ordinary guests we were not looked after. Additionally the Hotel itself is difficult to locate (even with Satnav} and also access to the underground car parkl is not easy. For a luxury hotel the bedding was sub-standard. The implication on the website was that the hotel stood in extensive grounds. This is not the case, it merely backs into a public park and lake.
