Gallows Point Resort has both upper and lower rooms all of which have tall ceilings, king-sized beds and fully equipped kitchens which include refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, and dishwasher. Guests can expect to have daily maid service along with 12-hour concierge services. Guests are able to relax in their rooms and watch Satellite TV or a DVD while central air conditioning and ceiling fans keep them cool. Guests can stay connected with the phone system that has en-suite voicemail and by complimentary WiFi. All rooms either have a balcony or a terrace overlooking the Caribbean or Cruz Bay.

Gallows Point Resort offers an activities coordinator that is eager to arrange any or all island activities free of charge such as car rentals, water sport rentals, or other on-site amenities such as Spa visits. Virgin Islands National Park makes up a little over half of St John Island and is a popular destination. Island hopping and shopping is also popular and can be accomplished via private charter or with public ferries. There are many watersport activities that can be done mere feet from the resort such as snorkeling, fishing, day sails, boat rentals, or just swimming in the warm waters.

Gallows Point Resort Gift and Gourmet is open for both breakfast and lunch and also is a small grocery store that provides in-room provisioning. Ocean 362 is open for dinner and offers a fine dining experience for guests as it serves traditional Caribbean dishes with a modern twist.
