Cons: 1 hour check in time, they couldnt find my booking door fell off to bathroom. Wasnt the ssme room i booked im pretty sure.
6.7 Good
Pros: The grounds were beautiful and it was a quite atmosphere.
Cons: The breakfast was horrible more like McDonalds and the service was horrible. The Westin Taxi service was horrible. The Taxi Drivers are soo rude! Had one even tell me my money was fake because he wanted a bigger tip! My room was not cleaned until late in the evening.. UGH! Imagine coming back from the beach sandy, wet and tired and having to call to get your room cleaned and then wait for someone to come in and clean your room! This property needs undercover Boss!

Pros: All of the staff were wonderful!
Cons: Loved everything!

Pros: everything
Cons: no
5.4 Okay
Pros: How easy it was to get from the St. Thomas airport to The Westin. The check in at the airport (for the hotel) was amazing. Planning day trips was very easy. The pool was great and the activities they offer were very fun. It was also very easy to get a taxi to go into town.
Cons: The food wasn’t very good and expensive. There was only one restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was no room service so if you needed water in the middle of the night there is no chance of getting it. There are a MASSIVE amount of Sandflies. Everyone was getting attacked everyday, it was painful and left itchy bumps on your legs that last for 2 weeks. We looked like we had chickenpox. We had to plan our day around when the flies would be the worst. So unfortunately the kids couldn’t be in the pool as long as they wanted to and we could not dine in their open area restaurant at dinner. Basically anytime in the morning or after 4:30pm you will get attacked. There were ants in our room ranging from the kitchen to the bathroom and termites on the floor. The beach is ok, we didn’t know that the boat marina would be so close to our swimming area. In the photos they provide it looks much further away.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Location was excellent very nice gym and staff was overall very friendly
Cons: Room cleaning at 5pm everyday was not very convenient.... the food at the resort is borderline inedible.... and outrageously expensive for fried bar food. We are once there and it was disgusting

Pros: The views were exceptional, the staff and owners were friendly and informative and went above and beyond to connect with the guests. The gardens were brilliant! Fresh flowers were used to embellish the hardscaping every morning.
7.5 Good
Cons: Small bathroom towels and expensive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about Estate Lindholm! It exceeded our expectations. It's set up on a hill overlooking Cruz Bay. It has the most gorgeous views and is nice and quiet, but about a 1-2 minute drive from all of the action in Cruz Bay! Lots of parking, so if you rent a jeep you don't have to worry or pay extra. We stayed in a "Garden View" room, and were shocked when we had an amazing ocean view! The staff was so friendly, made sure we had everything we needed (beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, snorkel gear). Could not have asked for a better hotel for our St. John trip.
Cons: nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fresh, delicious, and convenient breakfast.
Cons: NA
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is very involved & active with his property. He takes great pride in assisting his guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, appropriately appointed, rooms in a location providing, with a short walk or hike, access to town and the beach (Honeymoon & Solomon). The grounds are well maintained and create a relaxing atmosphere whether you are walking around, enjoying the pool, or relaxing on your balcony. Estate Lindholm provides towels, beach chairs and coolers that you can take for the day to the beach making it easy to simply put on your suit and go. Overall, Estate Lindholm is well-located and nicely maintained. Gordon at team will take excellent care of you allowing you to relax and enjoy your stay.

Pros: Beautiful place, great liason and the people were wonderful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked that the inn is within walking distance to the ferry, bars, restaurants, shopping, etc. The staff took care of us and valued our business. Additionally, they offered coolers, lawn chairs, ice, beach towels, and even had beer and bottled water available to purchase ($2 for beers and $1 for waters--you can't beat that).

Pros: Beautiful lodging, great location.
6.2 Good
Pros: The location of the resort is beautiful The beach is rocky but the snorkeling was pretty good. The grounds are well kept and the sunsets are gorgeous. The resort is walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
Cons: The condo we had was just okay. Everything looked worn out. There was nowhere comfortable to sit. The bed was uncomfortable and the sleeper sofa felt like a pancake on springs. For the amount of money we paid we expected something better. We had paid for the condo in full months before we went and when we checked out they wanted to charge us some random room tax that my husband refused to pay. The bathrooms were nice. The housekeeping was okay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous surroundings and wonderful accommodations and the most pleasant staff! I booked my next stay the day I was leaving. This will be our yearly vacation spot at The Gallows, Love, Love, Love!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very accommodating and friendly
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous Views and grounds!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The condo was magnificent, open the double French doors and the ocean is right there. Walk down stairs to beach, ladder to drop in for snorkeling, salt water pool and whirlpool, plenty of loungers with huge umbrellas. Walk to town, taxis everywhere to go to beaches on the North shore. Full kitchen, housekeeping, free use of laundry, snorkel gear, beach chairs, towels. Great on-site concierge. The housekeepers did a great job.
Cons: With the exception of the housekeepers, others were not very helpful. Entry light over door was out. Reported it to the front desk more than once, but it was never fixed during our 7 days there. Two of the 4 bulbs over the kitchen table were out and never replaces. It took 3 times, to purchase the excellent shower products that the resort offered. I would have fixed the lighting myself, but had no access to light bulbs. Not a deal breaker, but disappointing

Hillcrest Guest House - Saint John's National Park - Bedroom
7
7.9 Good (21 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in St. John, Hillcrest Guest House USVI is a 4-minute drive from Virgin Islands National Park and 13 minutes from Trunk Bay.
7.7 Good
Pros: Not the nicest location on St John but definitely worth the amount they charge. Big bang for the buck.
Cons: It is at the top of a huge hill, i.e. Hillcrest. Steep walk from the ferry. If you are renting a car pick it up before you ascend the walk to Hillcrest with your luggage.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: I wanted to be centrally located. The guest house is a very short, but very steep walk from downtown. It has all the amenities such as a full kitchen, large seating area, comfortable bedroom, good sized bathroom and even a spacious outdoor area that is all screened in. It gave you the option of being able to go downtown for shopping or restaurants while not being stuck at a resort in some remote place on the island. If you aren't renting a car, you don't need one if you stay here; this is the place if you can manage the steep hill. I'm in decent shape and I was winded each time I went up. But I would definitely stay here again. You got the benefit of being close to downtown without all the noise.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a last minute booking and the owners were very helpful with accommodating me. They kept in touch with me the day of my arrival. Check in process was very easy. I would definitely stay there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place!! Lovely views and great onsite staff and restaurant/bar. Easy check in and informative details prior to check in.
Cons: Loved it!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We needed a place to stay for 1 night and this place fit the bill perfectly. I would do it again if needed.
Cons: Walking the hill to get to the place. But take in to consideration that I am 70 years old and have back problems.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Overall it was excellent.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The studio apartment was very clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals. The unit is at the top of the hill and has amazing views over sapphire beach to the British Virgin Islands. We even saw dolphins one day while snorkeling. There was always a breeze so we did not need to have the air conditioner on at all. The beach chairs provided were very comfortable for sitting on the beach and we visited many, but our favorite was Sapphire. It was a great 3 weeks and we would come back again
Cons: The only problem was construction noise which you need to expect as they are still recovering from the hurricanes. Parking can be a bit of a problem also due to the construction workers.
Caneel Bay Resort - Caneel Bay
9
9.7 Excellent (2 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 7 beaches, all beautiful, but 2 were were even more gorgeous than the others and felt private Good food Great service Very relaxing Easy access to Cruz Bay for restaurants and shopping Great transportation to all the beaches -- very quick
Cons: One of the main restaurants was closed.
9.4 Excellent
Cons: Not very infant friendly unless you are right by a scheduled bus stop. Also no phones in the room which make it very hard to order room service and they don't supply rooms with menus to order room service. Can't order food at 11 am from room service, you have to wait until 1130am to order food not a big deal unless you are planning to leave for the airport at 12 and room service takes an hour to get.
