9.3 Excellent
Pros: Charming hosts and a fabulous breakfast, virtually all home-made. A comfy room with very individual touches, and a lovely area in the garden to sit and enjoy the sunshine. A lovely, warm, friendly atmosphere with nice people who are clearly genuinely out to please.
Cons: We wish we had realised that we needed to book an evening meal in advance. Somehow, other reviews gave the impression that the on-site restaurant was always open, but once we arrived we realised this was not the case. Our lovely hosts would gladly have cooked for us given prior warning, and we think other guests would appreciate being aware of this in advance so that they can book if they need to.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: People make the difference between a great holiday and a poor holiday. The welcome that you receive at this home is beyond compare. Beautiful location the room we had was just beautiful. The hosts cooked a stunning meal complete with wine. We can't wait to return and spend more time at this beautiful place.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: “Highly refind exquisite interior decor, breakfast exemplary and above all our host was delightful and welcoming. Parking just outside, the location could not have been bettered.”
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely house in a great location, very convenient for cross Channel ferry from Roscoff. Very friendly and attentive owners. Room was comfortable (great bed) and very attractive. Breakfast was mostly homemade, with amazing selection of jams. Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A dozen home made jams to try at breakfast. Our room had a sea view which is always welcome to Londoners. Comfy bed, friendly hosts with good English and helpful recommendations. Secure parking if you have a classic car or motorbike.
Cons: Nothing, everything exceeded expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The finest breakfast in all Brittany. Evening meal also of the highest standard we ate in 4 nights and enjoyed a variety of carefully prepared delicious food. Wonderful friendly hosts, nothing too much trouble. Very comfortable bed indeed. immaculate throughout and yet rustic and charming. the area west of Roscoff is excellent for easy cycling, flat terrain spectacular empty beaches and enough to see for a weeks holiday. Friendly 9 hole golf club close by. We will certainly be back. A hidden gem.
Cons: We had to leave to come home!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful place to stay......beautiful rooms in a charming rural location, delicious food and very welcoming, thoughtful hosts (Rachel and Roberto). We will return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Les Chambres du Mad is held by a lovely couple who are eager to share their story and rebuilt the place entirely. The property and its garden are beautiful and very nicely located. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is incredible. There are also two lovely cats, as charming as their owners.
Cons: Nothing. Really.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great food. Catered for my gluten allergy really well.
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was clean, and comfortable
Cons: We had our account debited within the free cancellation period. Our requirements are on-site secure parking, and WI fi. We parked to check in, we were told that we had to park on some rough grass area by the entrance. When we returned later, the property did not appear to have any external lighting, luckily we had a torch on our phones, as it was very dark, with neither street lighting, nor any on site lighting. The driveway had been blocked off, to prevent any parking on the driveway. We had an early ferry so had previously e mailed the property, and they offered an early breakfast. The tea coffee, were communal & OUTSIDE the room, despite showing tea coffee maker in ALL rooms, consisting a Nespresso machine and kettle with teabags and sugar, we had our own milk & decaf coffee. We were also supposed to have a bottle of water; We were surprised not to have a flannel provided, with only a bottle of shower gel provided. The booking.com photos show a bag with toiletries & flannel. When other guests returned in the early hours of the morning, it was very noisy with footsteps above. We went down for breakfast; the table was set for four. We actually would not have liked to share the same table in very close proximity with another couple. The exceptional breakfast, was very disappointing, and was very surprised to have only black bread offered for breakfast, no French bread or croissants; we were presented with a plain yogurt, which we had to put some fruit preserve in. Everything was in two’s, two apples, two plums, all very strange, and not what we expected. We were then presented a bill of 1.2 euros, for city tax, which we were told we had to pay directly; this we felt was very embarrassing. We checked booking.com site, and it shows that the city tax of .60 euro was included in the price; we therefore paid the city tax twice. We accept that individually each comment is very minor, however we felt the negatives far outweighed the positive.

Pros: We were made very welcome on arrival and our room was super, overlooking a lovely garden with the sea in the distance. Everything had been done to the property by the current owners, making the hotel most comfortable and although we were there for one night, it was very pleasant indeed. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Lovely helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: Don't like a shower over a bath and certainly not with a shower curtain, but this is a minor detail as we really enjoy our stays.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great and it was convenient having the restaurant on site. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had all our needs met. I would not hesitate to recommend Le Theven and hope to return in in the future.
Cons: WiFi was poor, at times it was difficult to stay connected. However, I would not let that deter me from staying here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When I booked this I thought it was a hotel so we were most surprised when it turned out to be individual lodges. BUT we were delighted with the standard of accommodation and the location. It was fantastic and very unusual. We had a really peaceful night and woke to the sound of the waves on the beach. Luckily we booked both supper and breakfast as there was very little around if not. The staff were very helpful as we were slightly confused about how we ‘checked in’ but otherwise a great stay!
Cons: WiFi definitely needs improvement. Unfortunately a previous guest removed the power cable from our Cisco router which wasn’t the lodges fault. WiFi strength still poor even on the general WiFi. I guess we expect better these days.
5.8 Okay

Pros: Very comfortable bed and spacious room with sitting area and TV. Bathroom had twin sinks and well lit.

7.5 Good
Pros: Comfortable
Cons: Noise of showers and toilets from next bedroom.
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean. Gods breakfast when they remembered!

Pros: The building and decor were amazing
Cons: The toilet was open plan with the bedroom
4.3 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was spartan. nice crouisants and preserves but little else. No cheese or ham or fruit.
Cons: When it says check-in from 1530. i expect someone to be on the premises. we tried all the phone numbers listed to no answer. had to go to booking.com to make contact. Then we were just handed the keys and left on our own.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was quiet and comfortable, the breakfast was above average. The staff are friendly, one of them kindly allowed us to park our motorcycle at his nearby residence. The hotel is well situated.
Cons: Despite being within the 3 hour checkin window, we had to wait several minutes for someone to open the door. The reception was unattended. There is no AC in the room and the bathroom window can not be opened.

Pros: The owner is very friendly. The room is awesome. Feel like at home.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean rooms though extraordinary decor. One Harry Potter the other submarine. Good welcome and despite being warned that we would get no sleep as there was a party in the bar. Most of us slept well. Delicious breakfast , plentiful patisserie and coffee. Very close to Roscoff so very convenient for the ferries.
Cons: Bunk bed in one bedroom was over a double bed not ideal for a child. Decor was a bit overwhelming for children but the welcome was honest and warm and the rooms clean and comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great staff very comfortable
6.3 Good
Pros: Value for money You have your own space Good facilities Good surroundings Nice croissants
Cons: First of all it must be clear that is a bikers hostel/bar. So if you were looking for a french style dont come! Yoy should be more into skulls and flames. Every room is decorated differently one is perfect if you are a goth (with scary looks) The uboat is like sleeping in a bunker. It was a bit dirty in the floor and one of the upper bunk bed had a terrible mattress
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owner and atypical accommodation

7.5 Good
Pros: Clean , comfortable and convenient.
Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quiet street just 100 metres from the very centre of attractive historic town. Very friendly and cheerful staff. Soft pillows. Plentiful coffee at breakfast, with croissant and bread, plus cereal and yoghourt is wanted.
Cons: I booked this room on the basis of requiring a double bed as I like space and sleep in a double at home. I hate single beds. However, this was two single, and rather hard, beds pushed together so there was no option of spreading out or moving around. Please - if 'Double Bed' option selected in the filters, don't include two singles - that is not at all the same. I was on foot, so travellers be aware that a taxi from Roscoff Ferry Terminal will cost you 16 euros to St Pol. Ouch.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely greeting, nice room, comfy bed, good breakfast and went out of their way to suggest places for dinner. The staff were friendly and efficient, I would recommend this hotel as nothing is too much trouble from the cheery greeting at breakfast to the way they found something I had forgotten and looked after it for me.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and welcoming. Location and closeness to beach and town excellent. The owner went the extra (well ran actually) mile to deliver a forgotten item and handed it to us in the ferry queue.
Cons: Map coordinates were wrong minimal problem forgot to inform the owner.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are exceptionally warm and welcoming people. We were sorry to have to leave. Breakfast consisted of homemade crêpes and other Bretonne specialties. Roscoff is a delightful uncrowded small town, often overlooked by tourists because of its lack of sandy beaches; therefore, it is unspoiled by mass tourism. It's a nice place for a relaxing stop over.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely and clean, the hosts were so kind and thoughtful, and the views were lovely. We felt very welcomed when we arrived and throughout the full stay Michele and Michelle gave us advice on which sights to see and even brought some clothing to the ferry port because we had left it behind. Just a very lovely experience, Roscoff is a beautiful place.
Cons: There was nothing to complain about during our stay.
Les Chambres de Kermenguy - Sibiril - Building
10
9.4 Excellent (59 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about the B&B, they owners were so welcoming and although they spoke little English and our French was limited we communicated quite easily. The room was perfectly decorated and very stylish as was the rest of the property, there was a separate room for relaxing which was a bonus so we chilled after a long 9 hour drive. the breakfast was just lovely French homemade sauces fr the freshly cooked crepes, along with breads cakes etc... Just perfect. We were a couple travelling in a 3.5 tonne van on route to the UK on Brittany ferries and the B& B was a well needed pit stop before the crossing. We even called to put back the stay by one day as the ferry was cancelled and the owner was so good with translating my bad French. We will definitely stay again on our next trip over as we have 3 more trips over on a house move and will also recommend to our family and friends for their crossings :) Thank You
Cons: Nothing it was just perfect

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Feels like staying at your auntie's! Everything very comfortable, breakfast is huge and very french (fresh crêpes and baguette). Madame is very interested in making your stay as comfortable as possible!
5.5 Okay
Pros: Rooms are a bit quirky and kept clean . Breakfast ok .
Cons: Wasn't made to feel welcome as we arrived late at night due to ferry crossing . It was something I'd made clear when I first made booking . The lady said that was fine and she'd leave a key for us . That we should just phone her a few days before we arrived . When my wife rang to remind her , it all of a sudden became a problem to her . We arrived after 10pm and the lady was quite rude to my wife . We had to take our shoes off and be very quiet !! Not at all comfortable after a 7 hour drive and 6 hour ferry crossing . In the morning the lady was a lot more polite and breakfast was a very good choice of a typical French breakfast including crepes , bread and croissants. I'm sure if you arrive in good time your stay would be more enjoyable . Anyone crossing from ferry late at night , well I wouldn't bother .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and easy to find. Excellent 'picnic" provided for breakfast as we caught an early ferry.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was a lovely, comfortable room and bed. All the facilities were lovely too. I’d definitely recommend this B and B.
Cons: We were very late as the ferry was delayed due to a storm...when we got to roscoff we had no phone service so couldn’t ring ahead. There is a policy of no guests after 11 and it was almost midnight...I’d already paid,it was raining and I had 2 children with me so I kept ringing the doorbell. The proprietor was not impressed at all and was very cross with us. I think there needs to be a way around this due to unforeseen circumstances.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location for the ferry next day! Lovely breakfast, nice room tastefully decorated and fresh flowers in the room! Nice touch!
Cons: Nothing it was really nice and good value for money
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable and within easy access of the ferry. The owner left us some juice, fruit and croissants for breakfast in our room as we had an early morning ferry crossing back to the UK
Cons: Unfortunately there is not a restaurant nearby, so you have to drive into Roscoff. However there is a supermarket close by where you can buy provisions for a picnic supper and a bottle of wine
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and homely.
Cons: Given a guest house, not hotel classification it could not have been better.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming place, nicely kept rose garden; great lady owner and fantastic breakfast
Cons: Location, bit far away from everything
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly welcome. We liked the two rooms making up the family accommodation. Wonderful breakfast in a lovely room. The Gites is so easy to find with its big signage at the side of the road. Ideally located for exploring this lovely part of Brittany - only a 15 minute drive to Roscoff and St Pol de Leon and their great beaches.
Cons: Would have liked a heavier curtain closing off the two bedrooms from the remainder of the house. We needed to keep both bedroom doors open as our grandchildren are quite young.

Pros: Lovely B & B near the beach.Handy for the ferry.
Cons: Nothing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very clean. Good facilities for a family in their Family Suite. Plenty of clean towels and hot water for showers. Varied selection of teas in the room. Owner spoke very little English which was fine as we can speak french but may be a problem for those who can’t. We were recommended a local restaurant by the owner which was fab.
Cons: No shops or restaurants nearby so had to drive to a nearby restaurant. Not a major problem but having spent 10hrs in the car already would have been nice to be able to walk somewhere. Our fault for not doing enough research in advance.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent reception and very comfortable bed and calm neighbourhood
Cons: We were not at all happy with the toilet facility which was in a small closet with no ventilation nor washing facility. The bathroom was through 2 more doors. Totally unhygenique. Also staying 3 nights the breakfasts were always the same.Having run a B&B ourselves we do have considerable experience and whilst there was nothing wrong with what received it would have been nice to have had a change.

Overview Reviews
Our hotel located in the heart of the old Corsair city of Roscoff is the perfect place for your business or leisure trips with your family. We are located at the water's edge, swept by the currents and winds, making it the ideal place for iodized-air trea tment. We renovated this place in the spirit of a Breton shipowner's house, so that your stay becomes a journey into the history of the Breton Corsairs.

Pros: Perfect location, lovely building and excellent customer service. Roscoff is a delightful place.
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: In the centre of the town. Car park (fee) nearby. Good stop before morning ferry.
Cons: A bit depersonalised since becoming a Mercure and odd paint choice for the room - dark burgundy and muddy pink (previously muted browns and beige. No restaurant now. No takeaway cups for express breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is situated in the heart of the beautiful town of Roscoff, adjacent to the historic church. The hotel is well presented and stylishly decorated throughout, whilst the rooms are clean and tidy. There is a modest supplement payable for sea view rooms, but in view of the fact that the sea literally laps against the hotel walls at high tide, the extra charge is very worthwhile, since the views from the bedrooms are breathtaking. The hotel provides a basic but good breakfast, and although it does not have a restaurant offering any other meals during the day, that is unimportant as there are so many bars and restaurants within a matter of metres from the front door of the hotel. Similarly, the hotel has no car parking facilities, but once again, this is unimportant as there are numerous free car parking spaces within a short distance of the hotel. The staff were all friendly, helpful and welcoming, and added to what was a thoroughly enjoyable visit.
Cons: The bar offering is very basic, and a wider selection of beers and drinks would have improved the stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great position in Roscoff , our well equipped and comfortable room overlooked the sea. Breakfast was very good and staff excellent.
Cons: Parking is definitely a problem especially in July and August. We had to keep moving the car in order not to pick up a fine. I thought that the hotel had secure parking available but this was not offered.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. This historic hotel was fabulous. Food exceptional. Staff very informed and helpful. Roscoff is beautiful. Our room overlooked the fascinating little port where the tide comes in and out in dramatic fashion! We were in the old historic part of the hotel, which we really appreciated. A drink in the bar overlooking the ocean and tides is a must.

7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were attentive and helpful, and the restaurant food was superb.
Cons: We thought that overall value for money wasn’t good enough, considering that the room was comfortable, but not luxurious, which is what we would have expected at the price.
6.8 Good
Cons: Restaurant full for the evening we were there Don't think I should pay for car parking in addition to the room charge. ( most people will be arriving by car) Breakfast was very expensive Our room next to the pool was hot and smelled strongly of Chlorine No view from the room
7.0 Good
Pros: Didn't eat here, it was much too expensive
Cons: Room was small at that price bed comgortsnle
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable ,we didn't have breakfast...leaving too early. But my husband is a coeliac and we don't eat a cooked breakfast so 24euros is a rather excessive amoint to pay for cereal and toast. We appreciated the upgrade to a seaview room
Cons: We were extremrly surprised that there was a charge to park on the premises. The public car park was fortunately along side.We had joped to eat in the restaurant but didn't realuse until we received the confirmation email that the restaurant was closed on a Monday Also surprised to deduce that June is considered low season.

Pros: Friendly helpful host who found us when our sat nav failed to locate the property. A very modern and comfortable property.
Cons: The weather.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent as was the service, good company at the breakfast table. On arrival we got lost in Santec and Nini came and rescued us.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Modern stylish house, owner family very friendly and helpful. Great guest facilities ,and excellent breakfast. Very quiet position with off street parking, but within few minutes drive of Roscoff and St Pol de Leon
Cons: Your website's totally inadequate directions. Location is on a cul-de-sac in a small relatively modern development in the 'centre' of Santec, problem is these older Breton 'villages' are not compact and even knowing the area well I had difficulty in finding the house; even locals living in the next road were a bit confused. You need a more detailed map with precise instructions on the website.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Made to feel very welcome into the family home. Had a very pleasant evening and joined in with the family meal.
Cons: The location on Booking.com hadn't been updated - the property is some 2km from the old address
