Pros: Location very close to Petit Train du Nord trail. Beautiful property with inviting front and rear yards and large porch. Large room for 4. Amazing ovo vegetarian breakfast. Garage storage for bikes. Great proprietors.
Cons: Everything was great.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very nice and very detailed oriented, the breakfast exceded our expectations.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was lovely. Place was well kept and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Given a third floor room with steep stairs. Out of breath even tho owner carried my luggage. I had to carry it down. Also breakfast was a croque Mouseiur with maple syrup. Not good for a diabetic. When I refused it I was admonished that I should have let them know the day before. How was I to know it wasn’t a simple buffet. If they knew what they were cooking they could have asked me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful home on the edge of a forest, one minute drive from the Laurentians cycle path. Large, modern and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast cooked by the host, a Swiss chef. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful.
Cons: All was good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large and well-appointed room, beautiful building, delicious breakfast, welcoming hosts.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owners were incredibly friendly and cooked the most delicious breakfast.
Cons: The trundle bed wasn't very comfortable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We were very pleased with the connecting rooms. The sheets were amazing and the decorating was coordinated and tasteful. The breakfast was more than generous.
Cons: We stayed in a French-speaking area and the hosts didn't seem that fluent in English, but we were able to communicate. That was okay, but we wished we could have talked more with them.

Pros: Claude and Lise were exceptional hosts. They helped us with suggestions , reservations and little details that made our visit wonderful. The area is beautiful with plenty to do. Also I have Celiac disease and they went out of their way to ensure my food was gluten free. Excellent place.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean place, charming decor. Hosts were very friendly without being overwhelming; they recommended a very good restaurant. Independent access avoids disrupting hosts. We loved the terrace. Excellent, healthy breakfast. Recommended without hesitation!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It felt like being home, the food was amazing and the hospitality was amazing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts. The breakfast was the best we had on our trip.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful surroundings, nature all around and facilities close by. Claude and Lise are charming and welcoming and the breakfast is delicious.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was a pleasure meeting the hosts at this B&B! Although the property was an uphill bike ride from "Le Petit train du Nord" that we were cycling, it was definitely worth it. (And we were happy to be cycling downhill to the path the next day!) The property has beautifully manicured lawns and gardens, with a comfortable gazebo for guests to relax in outside. The breakfast was delicious, and it was fun conversing with the hosts and other guests there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our first time there and was just fanatastic, the couple that owns this place are so warm and caring and did everything to make our stay wonderful, the complimentary breakfast was just delicious , highly recommend this beautiful little get away .
Cons: Nothing it was perfect.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A cozy comfortable atmosphere, the staff went out of there way to make the stay enjoyable . The breakfast was amazing. All in all a great experience .
Cons: No television in rooms .
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Auberge Bonne Nuit-Bonjour Bed & Breakfast in Sainte-Adele, you'll be in the mountains, within a 10-minute drive of Mont Saint-Sauveur and Polar Bear's Club. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was superbe. Homemade jams and preserves were a nice touch. Right off the highway and 5 mins from St. Sauveur was perfect. The hosts were very nice and parking was ample
Cons: No television in the room and the shower was small for a bigger fellow like myself. The pool and hot tub were off limits after 9pm which was a bit disappointing. These were not deal breakers but would have been nice to know before booking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent loved it
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The entire experience was an extremely positive one, but the breakfasts were just so delicious. The plates were works of art, visually and to the palate! Sylvie is truly an artist in the kitchen! Filling but not heavy, healthy, with lots of fresh fruit as well as a hot portion which was a surprise each morning, and a small healthy dessert. The pool was lovely and refreshing, and towels for the pool were supplied. The whole property felt very private. We enjoyed good conversations at the table with the other guests and Sylvie. We would highly recommend this B and B!
Cons: Nothing! :)
7.1 Good
Pros: Amazing breakfast, in fact, 3 courses, all freshly made in the kitchen. Croissants exceptional and salad picked from the garden. Breakfast served in the solarium with a view onto the lovely garden.
Cons: For $125 one would expect a bathroom inside the room. We had a “private” bathroom opposite the room but the rate should be lowered to reflect this. Our friends had the same rate, bigger room, with a toilet and a bath in their room. Since most guests would be biking the petit train du nord, I would suggest a bike rack or shed behind the house that guests could use to lock up their bikes.

Pros: It was amazing! Great service, the owner was really welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and have a charm!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff is a very nice couple with a gorgeous dog. They were very accommodating even when we showed up uunannounced and made us feel right at home.
Cons: Our room only had a tub no shower not a big deal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts go all the way to create a welcoming, warm ambiance. Breakfasts are delicious and the room is cozy and comfortable.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice quiet central location. Relaxed atmosphere. Comfortable bed Great Shower and bath.
Cons: Old and tired place - badly in need of up date and TLC .Grass needed cut around the house. Only one electrical outlet in room. Table light was wired with tape! Room small and cramped. No A/C. No Facility for making coffee/tea. Sink in bedroom - none in bathroom. Very inconvenient No privacy possible in bathroom. Breakfast - no choice - not cooked - coffee cold. Staff a bit cold and distant - could have been language barrier. Hot tub not working. Pool very small
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cosy fire place in the main room. Nicely decorated bedroom with nice bathroom.
Cons: The light ribbon in the main room, where breakfast is served.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: No AC in the room I left the windows wide open in order to keep the old smell out of the room,it was advertised as hotel but it is bed and breakfast ,no name sign of the hotel ,exposed toilet and tub with a curtain no privacy.it is very old bishop/ non house.for the money I could find better.nice owners but the too tired ,problem adjusting the hot /cold water old piping .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Hosts are very attentive and accommodating. They will go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. Breakfasts are good but the menu is the same from one visit to the next.
Cons: They have rooms that are rented out to long-term customers and those customers can make you feel like you are intruding into their space. Especially when they drop little comments to each other about how you are disrupting their comfort. We had reserved a specific room that we liked and found out a couple days before our trip that we got bumped for a long-term rental.

Pros: Proximity to highway. Easy to locate.
Cons: Not good first impression. Shabby and rundown. Very noisy main road. Not a "fabulous" breakfast as per reviews.

Cons: -
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast, staffs were very kind , quiet and clean room, loved walk in the woods near the hotel.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was nice.
Cons: If we'd known how far this place was from a restaurant for dinner I wouldn't have picked it. We hadn't ordered the table d'hote beforehand and so had to take a taxi into town at a cost of $28 there and back for dinner. The roads are hilly and dangersous for bikers and walkers. The table d'hote should be offered to everyone at check in.
7.1 Good
Pros: The breakfast was excellent and the owner accommodated our request for an early breakfast. The location was the only disappointment. We hadn't ordered the dinner because we thought we could go into town for dinner - but the town was not close enough to walk and we didn't want to bike in the dark.
Cons: The location was the only disappointment.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location
7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent breakfast, flexible timing of breakfast. Also, nice authentic feel to this building with real wooden floors, etc. Clean.
Cons: Somewhat noisy at night from cars on the road/hwy nearby. Next time I'd bring higher quality earplugs.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was awesome.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A quaint and cozy little B&B The owner was very friendly and most accomodating
Cons: We had to walk down a long corridor to get to the bathroom The room had two beds which I asked for and it was a bit cramped. The other rooms in the Auberge were lovely and had ensuite bathrooms but only one bed

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful hotel
Cons: The rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff is very professional , pleasant manner at arrival . take the time to provide you information about your stay .
Cons: I am not sure this is a negative point , but I had ordered a meal that I had before and was not the same . I was told that it changes all the time . But I guess it's ok . Just was expecting same as I had before there was more variety
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice outdoor pool and activity facilities
Cons: One of our two beds was very hard and uncomfortable, and the room was fairly small.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Staff and site were nice
Cons: Because of weddings, lot’s of noise in the room until very early in the morning. Room walls and doors are extremely thin, you hear everything. Rooms are too humid as well. For this price, this hotel needs to remove old carperts and do a major renovation.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Most of the staff and the comfortable beds.
Cons: The pool was never cleaned. Always very dirty. Too many spider webs on the windows and rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, great location and good value.
Cons: Pool was packed, not enough lounge chair. Must be early enough to get a spot to relax.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Pros Babbling creek Large room Cons Bad odor Bed barely made & Dirty sheets - had to request new ones and changed them ourselves Very far from bike trail - misleading Filthy bathroom Fireplace didn’t work Had feeling of staying in someone’s home NOT a spa
Cons: The creek
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Spa and solarium. The staff is very nice!
Cons: Standard room too small. Not enough staff at the bistro. The lady was alone at lunch time. We waited 45 minutes for our order. She did her best! Can't have a glass of wine at the fireplace and solarium
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location! Right in front of the river. Falling asleep with the sounds of nature was cool. Outdoor spa is pretty good with gorgeous scenery.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. My favourite part was the 2 hot pools and eucalyptus steam room.
Cons: Breakfast was good but maybe needed whole grain breads and other healthier choices.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lac quiet
Cons: Well we world do pédalo but they have à lot of water
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was excellent day, hotel staff is gentle and friendly. Nice place, clean room panoramic. Tks. Nizar.
7.9 Good
Pros: The room was cozy quiet and the fireplace made it perfect
Cons: The spa was noisy and we had to go out to buy wood they did not have any available on site
6.3 Good
Pros: It has a great view with great amenities. Staff was very nice. Bed was comfy.
Cons: You had to bring your own firewood. Place had a funny smell, the bathtub didn't drain and had stains.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location was beautiful. From our room, we had view on the lake. It was quiet. The staff was pleasant enough. It was a good stay.
Cons: The only reason I can't rate the hotel better on the cleanliness was because the hot tub that was in the room (that we had specifically selected because it had that Jets tub included) was really dirty. There were dead spiders in the bottom of it, left over hair from another person who stayed there. All around the tub, there was a ring of dirt that could have been easily removable had they just scrubbed a little. The rest of the room was fine.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The front desk person was courteous and helpful.
Cons: The website said they served meals but when we arrived we discovered that the kitchen was closed and no meals would be served. We were traveling by bicycle and needed to hire a taxi to take us five miles into the village for dinner and another taxi for return. The shower and toilet had a constant drip and water leak, causing noise and water waste. The air conditioner was not installed but was sitting in the middle of the room and inoperable. Light shades were missing, curtains didn’t fully cover the windows, double pane windows were clouded with condensation obscuring the view.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect spot and room was very clean
Cons: Internet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: hotel with private small lac without boats . Nice staff owner was present and made us feel very welcome . offered us wine and munchies in front a fire outside at night
Cons: not a major issue but hotel is situated close to the road where a lot of cars passby .
4.6 Okay
Pros: The hotel has potential. I was there a few years ago when the administration cared about it. It has great location and the smal lake makes it more cozy. I wanted a quiet place in the woods to rest and it seemed perfect but is too vlose to a very heavy used road and the engines noise spoiles the charm.
Cons: We were the only customers in the hotel. No breakfast, no coffee, no room service. I had to ask for towels and toilet paper after the second day. Nobody cleaned the room. The SPA outdide has too much chlorine, the pool wasn't cleaned, the weather got cold anyway.
5.0 Okay
Pros: We liked the front service we got from the hotel and the hot tub facility on site!
Cons: The things that we didn’t like was when we were sleeping through the entire night we were hearing noises from people all throughout the rooms.( poor insulation). Needs to be updated. The bed was not well, new beds. No place for a breakfast in the morning meanwhile they have a restaurant facility but only services coffee in the morning and says that their is a lot of restaurants around.. not worth it for the money that was spent on it.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was great, the staff could not do enough for us and the facilities were wonderful. They had several pools, hot tubs and beautiful areas to is out and enjoy the great weather we had.
Cons: Nothing - we would very much consider just come back to stay in Sainte Edele for this hotel....
4.6 Okay
Pros: Free parking
Cons: service and cleaning is bad and a lot of chlorine in the pool. I sent 4 emails to the hotel before check in asking for a crib for my baby and a room without carpet. They give no answer. I also asked for the crib at the reception and they didn't answer me. My baby had to sleep in my bed. do not have breakfast included in the daily
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Spa and swimming-pool
Cons: Far from downtown
5.4 Okay
Pros: SPA
Cons: You need to extra for the sauna 15$ for 15 minutes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is nice. The food is excellent. The people at the reception are very welcoming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff members The presentation of the room The great reception upon arrival The inside pools
7.5 Good
Pros: Well located
Cons: The rooms had fire places that were not to be used even though the nights were very cool to cold by our standards. There is no elevator and no porter. Getting ice was two flights down. We are seniors with disabilities and my partner needed ice for her insulin. The spa hours were not clear to us and their special deal was posted at the end of the day not the beginning of it so we couldn't take advantage of it. The on buttons for the hot tub were on a wall requiring us to leave the hot tub after a ten minute stay. Half the jets didn't work. Bath robes had to be turned in at the desk and couldn't be left (wet) in the room.
6.5 Good
Pros: The location was perfect for the purpose of our trip. The people at the reception of the hotel were very polite, friendly and accommodating and our request were meet. The room was confortable and clean.
Cons: I was very surprised that it was not adapted for handicap people, no elevator nor specific parking space. There was also missing alarm clock in the room.
6.3 Good
Pros: The pool is ok
Cons: Spider webs on the corridor lighting's, no microwave oven on the room

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing.
6.7 Good
Pros: close to everything nice bathroom friendly staff
Cons: very old hotel ,in major despair for renovations, musty smell and minimum equipment...front door did not lock due to break in ,coffee machine not working and musty old smell in room....but ok for one night and affordable....staff was awesome...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a standard motel set back enough from the main street of a small tourist village in the Laurentians. It ranks high on the value-for-money index. Not fancy, but totally clean and pleasant. Some positive points are: a) continental breakfast, not gourmet, but complete; b) many of the rooms have a jacuzzi in the bathroom...nice in summer but a luxury in winter; c) tables outside near the pool for breakfast and snacking.
Cons: Our expectations were fully met.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Loft was average
Cons: Needs to be renovated
7.9 Good
Pros: Convenient location to restaurants and octoberfest. Parked the car and left it. The room was comfortable, had a couch and had a breakfast area which was a bonus.
Cons: The cleanliness could use an improvement. We found qtips all over the bathroom floor. The tub looked a little grimy at best. The grounds are a little unkept. Could use some paint, whipper snipper and tarmac repair. Would make a huge improvement. Also the front desk girl seems a little overwhelmed...although I was the only one there at the time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Well treed area and an attractive cemetary nearby. Close enough to cinema, restaurants. Room was much nicer than I expected at the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is an awesome motel, very clean and spacious for the price that we paid. The staff is wonderful and the breakfast was great
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property is simple but quaint. Heated pool & always clean. The property was very clean We like the area a lot. Close to many restaurants & attractions & beaches. It’s really very lovely. Can’t wait to come back. We always take a room with a hot tub! Also they serve a little breakfast which is very convenient. As well they offer 10% off coupons to various locations to eat. The staff is very friendly ☺️ And a huge thank you to Manon who was super kind & accommodating during our stay here.
Cons: I can’t say that there was really anything that i didn’t like. We have been here many times before & have always enjoyed our stay here. My only small complaint was the girl who was supposed to clean our room never did. But other than that everything is really nice here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The stay was more than i expected! The rooms were really clean, nice space with a small refrigerator, microwave and a few kitchen utensils. Me and my friends used the pool, the water temperature was perfect! In front of our rooms we could enjoy the night in a small table and chairs. The breakfast was simple but good! I really recommend the place! Check-in and check-out were easy and fast.

7.9 Good
Pros: Close to the centre of Ste Adele and within walking distance of 2 restaurants at least and more on rue Principale. Close to the Theatre and Saturday market.
Cons: breakfast was continental but good.
6.3 Good
Pros: The beds were comfortable and room clean
Cons: Circa 1970-1980 motel. Pool non functional and full of stagnant algae. Contentiental breakfast stripped down to coffee and mini croissants, with no real dining facility I would and did take breakfast elsewhere. It is a dated facility
6.7 Good
Pros: The place was ok , but the room smelled like cigarette , like a ashtray it was terrible , even the windows open , but ai was going for a wedding an late I did not have time to complain !
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The woman on the reception (I think the owner?) was nice, but with huge accent so kind of hard to understand. The actual room was clean.
Cons: The biulding is very very very old and dirty, looks ugly, so we even wanted to live without staying! The location is not exactly how it was presented - it located in the town Sainte-Adele, not outside , in the nature. We were looking for a place on the lake or in the forest. Very dissapointed! There is a huge problem in the bathroom - to flush. So overall - never come back((
7.1 Good
Pros: Hotel was clean. Bed was comfortable. Nice table outside the room for a glass of wine.
Cons: Nothing...we were comfortable.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like the place a lot. It was very clean and it looks exactly like the picture described
Cons: The room smelt a bit damp. I think it could have used some dehumidifier. Maybe it was because there is a Jacuzzi in the room
6.3 Good
Pros: THE LOCATION WAS OK . KINDA SECLUDED FROM THE TOWN. A T 10 MINUTE DRIVE AND YOUR IN SAINT AGATHE.
Cons: WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE IS THAT THE ROOM WAS LACKING FURNITURE AND THE BATHROOM WAS NOT CLEAN . WE DID NOT SHOWER BECAUSE YOU CAN SEE IT WAS NOT CLEAN AND THE TOILET HAD A RING AROUND THE BOWL NOT SATISFIED WITH THAT :(
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The total price wasn’t honoured
Cons: The total price wasn’t honoured by the owner ...booking had given me a rebate and he charged me full price ?

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
6.7 Good
Pros: They have done some renovations on the property to update.
Cons: I left early in the morning and there was no one at the front desk to check out with or a key slot to return the key so I just left it in the room.

Pros: The decor. Could be better though
Cons: Checkout says 10pm but he told us to leave at 12 pm. The 'breakfast' .
