Pros: Beautiful quiet spot in which we stayed one night after visiting nearby Giverny. The hosts paid attention to every detail and cared about their guests experience. Room was all white with old beamed ceilings and very romantic. Fresh and plentiful breakfast set on perhaps the best decorated breakfast table we have experienced. A one minute walk to a great restaurant 'Auberge du Prieuré Normand' that serves excellent Normandy cuisine including a really tasty foie grois! We would love to come back and try the hiking trails that surround the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding with delicious breads and pastries and homemade jams. The presentation was over the top like something you would see in a magazine. The house and garden were beautiful and the hosts were so gracious. They made a reservation for a us a restaurant just steps away that turned out to be our best meal in France. They also gave us excellent recommendations on day trips.
Cons: That we only got to spend one night there.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: B&B Agapanthes is exquisitely decorated and comfortable, with spacious rooms in which every detail is attended to. The photos do not do it justice! Many extra touches are included: a large selection of toiletries in the bathroom, extra towels (!), lovely tea and coffee service in the room, and even a turn-down service at night. The included breakfast is a feast for both the eye and the palate. I never do this, but could not resist taking photos of the beautifully spread table! There is also a lovely and large back garden. The hosts, Remy and Jianghua, are gracious, friendly, and accommodating. They greeted us with a welcome cocktail, served breakfast at our requested time each morning, and were extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations; tickets to Monet’s house and garden and to the Impressionist Museum (allowing us to avoid those long lines!); and suggestions for other local sites to visit — assisted by photo books they have created themselves. My husband and I felt totally pampered in every way. Our stay here was a delight and a true highlight of our trip to France!
Cons: The mattress (at least in our room, the White Room) is very firm. This is not my personal preference, though others may really like it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old house and garden in a nice village close to Giverny. The hosts were nice and welcoming and provided us with a rich and beautifully presented breakfast. They also made us a dinner reservation for Saturday night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Les Agapanthus is a beautiful home and the hosts, Jianghua and Rimy are more that kind. The breakfast is a delight to the eye as well as to the tastebuds. Gasny is an attractive village within cycling distance of Monet's garden at Giverny.
Cons: Public transport is limited and and taxis are expensive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Late 18 century house in excellent condition. The hosts are very hospitable and the breakfast is wonderful. I will recommend the restaurant 100m away from the property. The hosts are happy to book a table for you.

Pros: We very much liked our stay: beautiful house, quiet area, fresh air, few minutes away from the main attraction - Monet’s house (where, btw, the host offers tickets for the same price as in the museum and without waiting in a long line!) 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding breakfast re both choice and quality including fresh scrambled eggs and superb bread.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This B&B went above and beyond to accommodate me. I arrived very late into Giverny from Paris, around 9:30pm. This was not my plan, and I would advise you to NOT do this. Most places are closed and there are no taxis at that time. The host was VERY gracious and came to pick me up from the train station. The room was beautifully decorated and had a tv, blow dryer, towels, small refrigerator and the trappings for tea and coffee. I had my own private shower and toilet. The grounds were beautiful and full of color. I can only imagine how gorgeous this place is in the sunshine, because it rained my entire stay. Breakfast was a great spread, and fresh eggs were made to order. The ambiance was wonderful: Light rain, birds chirping, cool weather, and a gorgeous view from the breakfast room. Monet’s gardens are about a mile (15min walk) from the B&B and the stroll will take you past the church where Monet and family are buried. Hosts speak a little English, fluent French, and fluent Italian. (They may speak more languages, but these are the ones I know of.) They will hold onto your bags while you go to Monet’s gardens on the day you check out. They will also help you get taxis, and the room has tourist maps/pamphlets of the entire Giverny area, which are helpful.
Cons: I wish I would have stayed longer!

Pros: Jonathan and Sauren have created a haven of peace, tranquility, hospitality and love. They are so kind, friendly and caring. It felt like we were staying with long time friends, not at a B&B. Their home is so beautiful, in a peaceful location with a wonderful garden where they organically grown most of the food they serve. The little cottage you stay in is private and perfect. Breakfast is like nothing you have ever experienced. All the food is hand made mainly by Sauren and it will transport you to heaven. The perfect start to your day. They also offer evening meals. Please, whatever you do, please, please have your meals with them. Saurens cooking is so amazing. Finer than anything you could hope to eat elsewhere. The food is all hand cooked, using organic ingredients to Michelin type standards. We were speechless. They have beautiful wines and Sauren explains with great passion and love all about the ingredients and recipes if you are interested. We loved everything about our stay. We felt we made two beautiful new friends. They are truly special people.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: A fascinating host, a true artist (potter) who knows the area and its artistic history well. Keen to point out his copy of a painting by Monet which features his house. Parking is in a secure courtyard which is a little difficult to reverese into but which has space for two cars (there are just 2 guest rooms). No parking on the very narrow lane outside. Rooms are decorated in African and Orient styles which makes them a little different but noi less comfortable. A charming property, interesting host in a very convenient rural location for Giverny and Monets Garden.

6.7 Good
Pros: Owner was very nice and added historical perspective of the building. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Difficult physical layout. Parking and check in were in a difficult to access courtyard. Stairs were narrow. Bathroom shower had a two step apparatus with no rail to hold.

Pros: Alain provided a wealth of information and was a supreme host. Breakfast was undisturbed and enjoyable. It was really good to have plenty of space to move around. I appreciated having a place to park. We had a wonderful stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bella greeted us and was a wonderful hostess. Beautiful garden to enjoy a glass of wine. Liked that there is free parking on the property. We only stayed one night for our visit to the Monet Gardens. Perfect setting, a nice bike/walking path adjacent. Breakfast was extra but delicious, well worth it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location peaceful and quiet. Fantastic breakfast. Took into account our dietary needs
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, clean, just the right balance of interaction and privacy. Breakfast was spectacular. Bella is the best!
Cons: I didn’t like having to leave this wonderful gem. Maybe having two suitcase racks — I don’t like putting my suitcase on my bed. In fairness, I probably could have gotten another rack if I’d asked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bella is warm, friendly and caring. She made an incredible roasted duck dinner for our first night. She recommended a wonderful town for us to visit when we were hoping to see more art galleries. The B&B is beautifully decorated with paintings Bella made throughout. The breakfasts are delicious. We loved walking into Giverny, a lovely village. And Monet’s gardens are gorgeous! I’d highly recommend La Pruniere.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quirky old house with modern, clean bedrooms. Able to walk to Monet’s garden
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The historic property was unique and beautiful, the proprietor was lovely, and the location was a peaceful promenade to the Giverny gardens.
Cons: The proprietor should accept cards or the information about having to pay for the room in cash should be communicated more clearly in advance. Also, a minor suggestion is to source better quality croissants for the breakfast. Having bicycles available to borrow would be superb.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location with a gorgeous garden, situated very close to Giverny and Monets garden.
Cons: Nothing, was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful warm welcome and convivial stay. Totally charming home and experience.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The beautiful building and the very imaginative and tasteful decor
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the feeling of being Bella's house guests instead of ordinary tourists. We liked that breakfast and refreshment at the end of the day was always offered. We liked that Bella was informative and eager to help us. We liked how friendly and responsive to any needs, that Bella, her brother (co-host) and the house "guardian" were to us. WIFI was excellent. Parking was convenient.
Cons: A very minor detail I would change is to have some way of controlling the water from splashing out of the shower area onto the bathroom floor.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful location, close (less than ten mins drive) to Monet's garden in Giverny. Breakfast was included in the price and was wonderfully fresh and tasty. The room was comfortable and clean and it was lovely to sit outside in the sunshine overlooking some beautiful countryside. We even saw red squirrels one morning. Unfortunately we had had an accident and were without our car, but our hostess and her family could not have been more helpful, lending us a car, booking restaurants, taxis and liaising with the garage regarding the repair process. Although it was a stressful time they could not have done more to support us. Thank you.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hostess. Studio room very good with garden view.
Cons: All good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bedroom. Very friendly and helpful owner who gave great advice on local amenities. Our dog was made very welcome. Our breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty. Parking was safe and private. We had a super visit and would recommend this accommodation.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the homely feel, exceptionally clean, wonderful hostess- very welcoming and friendly. Perfect tranquil setting, wonderful views over the valley.
Cons: Not a negative, but it would have been helpful to know that a car is really required for this hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The host, Lydia could not have made us any more welcome and we were treated almost like family. She adores animals so made a great fuss of our dog, Poppy. The location is great with stunning views over the valley. The room was very comfortable with a small balcony taking in the views.
Cons: Our only small critique would be that the bathroom was a little small and not joined to the room we stayed in. There are other rooms available with en-suite which we would look to book if we stay again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed the days in la citadelle! It was calm and the garden is very nice, at day and night! Lydia is a super host, she is friendly and offers a good and fresh breakfast.
Cons: -
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lydia, the owner was very attentive and pleasant. I very much liked the comfort of the room and the wonderful scent of the pillows.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous view across the village and valley from the bedroom balcony. Lovely continental breakfast served in host's living room, sharing table and meeting other guests. Fresh bread and croissants, delicious homemade marmalade, coffee and tea to order. Comfy bed and clean bathroom. Charming and attentive host.
Cons: We didn't realise the bathroom, although private for us, wasn't en suite, just a short step across a small passageway, but this wasn't really an issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very near Giverny (Monet's house) and La Roche-Guyon (Les Plus Beaux Village). The house is decorated for arts and has a fantastic panorama view. Breakfast is delicious. The host is very friendly and helpful.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hostess was fantastic and saved our vacation! We had a direct shuttle from CDG to the property and did not realize that there are no taxis, uber or public transit in the area. Incredibly, the hostess let us use her car which allowed us to get to town for groceries and to visit Monet's Garden....the reason for the stay! Without her kindness and generosity, I don't know what we would have done! The house looks out over beautiful farmlands and was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast outdoors with homemade apricot jam. Absolutely lovely!
Cons: The second bed is not really sufficient for an adult.

Pros: As a family of 4 we were given the separate a small farmhouse to stay in. We had our own separate bathroom, kitchen and 2 bedrooms (1 for myself and my wife and one for our 2 kids). The breakfast was lovely.

Pros: After a week in Paris and Versailles the quiet, no traffic noise, was very welcomed. Clean large room, comfortable beds, and awesome shower. Our host was friendly, informative, and put on a very nice breakfast. We were visiting the Monet Gardens. At first, when planning the trip, I worried this was a bit of a distance away but it ended up being only a 10 minute scenic drive. I would stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely peaceful setting. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast.

Pros: The location was beautiful, almost like a fairy tale! My friends and I were impressed with the delicious breakfast-- we left wishing we had booked more time with Forest Farm!

7.1 Good
Pros: Beautiful gardens
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant is brilliant. Staff welcoming and efficient. Location and surroundings are near perfect.
Cons: Would prefer a bathroom door that is not louvre
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was perfect for I and a friend to travel. I was on lower lever and she in the loft which gave us both privacy yet not isolation. Also enjoyed the balcony overlooking the garden. The hotel was easy walking distance to restaurants. I would love to visit again.
Cons: I had to sign into the wifi each time I wanted to use it. So during conversation if we randomly wanted to search, I had to sign in again and again.
7.9 Good
Pros: The room was very clean and the property was charming, with beautiful gardens. The location was very convenient to walk through the lovely little town. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The room was very tasteful and the bathroom was huge but it had a louvered door that offered very little privacy. If you were sitting on the bed you could basically hear, etc everything (sorry to be so blunt). Also, we booked the property for the restaurant which turns out to be closed on Monday and Tuesday. When I asked if we could buy two glasses of wine to sit and enjoy the beautiful patio/gardens we were told the bar was also closed which seemed a bit ridiculous that a staff member wasn't allowed to arrange for a glass of wine (there are no shops in town and the mini-bar didn't contain wine or beer). We picked the hotel because I thought the bar/restaurant would make our first evening in country after a long day of travel very easy and relaxing. It was the most expensive hotel we stayed in and I didn't think it was worth the money, but might feel different if we were there a different day of the week.
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: too many stairs. Bathroom downstairs. Not a very good dinner.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Decrepid stairs to lug bags to room. Circular staircase with uneven landings, no solid railing was quite dangerous
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Serene location and gorgeous accommodation. The bed was ultra comfortable. Staff were very helpful.
Cons: The breakfast seems expensive and could be included in the room tariff.
6.7 Good
Cons: Worstmeal ever In Michelin starred restaurant in france and IHave been to many over the years.Bottle of white wine although chilled not in ice bucket Had to ask one of the waitresses to open it as no sign of the sommelier Breakfast poor value Drinks served before dinner on the terrace not brought on a tray and not poured Frome he bottle

Cons: Kitchen equipment ..no mugs or bread knife & kitchen knives
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the whole ambience of the suite was calm and relaxing and the owner was welcoming and helpful. Can’t wait to return.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: For visiting Monet's Garden at Giverny and sightseeing in local towns the location is good. The breakfast is an optional extra at 6.5 euros which represents fair value. Guests share a table and so breakfast is a sociable affair which we rather enjoyed. Note that unless you take breakfast your room is on a self catering basis.
Cons: Tea/coffe making facilites in rooms consisted of a kettle only - so go prepared with your own cups, spoons and tea or coffee.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property sits in the middle of the village bordering the local churn and adjacent cemetery. I have never stat close to the graveyard which was actually located right after the wall of the house. Some guests may want to be aware of that however it did not change anything as the stay was comfortable and tranquil. Silvie does great job in managing the property and making guests feeling home away from home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a warm welcome from our host who pointed us in the direction of a lovely evening meal at Les Bords de Seine, on the Seine, a short drive away. Our room was nicely furnished with a good shower room. The continental breakfast was fine, We didn't get an opportunity to use the pool but it looked very inviting. the grounds we well kept and provided many quiet seating areas. We think La Roseraie would be an ideal place to go to recharge the batteries for a few days and to explore the surrounding areas and to visit Giverny and Vernon.
Cons: All fine, perhaps a fan for hot nights.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room and bathroom, with space to park the bike in the grounds. The grounds are very pleasant with a swimming pool! Very good breakfast and the owner was very pleasant and helpful. Recommended a very good restaurant.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing. I would not stay here again.
Cons: The room was small with sparse hanging space and no drawers. Apart from a kettle there were no tea or coffee supplies or even cups! The sliding door to the bathroom was see through giving no privacy. The tiles and grouting were grubby. One of the sockets was loose and came away from the wall when unplugged. The ‘private terrace’ had mouldy table and chairs. Parking on the premises was not available as stated and we had to park down the street. We needed to leave by 8 am but breakfast was not available until 8.45 and no alternative was offered. The hotel is next to a church with a clock the chimes every half hour - also not mentioned when booking. Daylight robbery!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is located inside the walls of an old churchyard...amazing to be woken by bells.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: friendly, welcoming & helpful owner, delightful dog & 100+ year old tortoise, ideal for visiting Giverny. this was a return visit, & will certainly return again when visiting Giverny.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A gem of a place in a country village close to busy Giverny and Monet's garden. The friendly proprietor Sylvie was as charming as her property and gardens. We liked the private garden seating area provided individually for each room. The pool was very inviting too. A typical French breakfast of fresh bread and croissants with fruit cheese yoghurt and preserves was laid out in a lovely dining room overlooking the gardens.
Cons: Although directed by sign from the main road we missed the turning into the accomodation road. We assumed incorrectly that 'first right' on the main road sign referred to the right turn into the village. In fact it was right and right again so a second sign immediately as you left the main road into the destination road would have been useful. We were tired after a long day, misunderstood and missed it completely!

Cons: A bit difficult to find
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location, local produce at breakfast, good wifi
Cons: Had to telephone the owner for someone to check us in, The dietary requirements I had emailed about had not been taken into consideration, At check-out, owner/manager wanted to take my bank details again (even though I had received a confirmation of payment from booking.com) because she "sometimes doesn't get the money from booking.com" Tiny bath, difficult to use as a shower (no shower curtain, not full standing hight) and time consuming to use as a bath because the tap took ages to fill it up. Some broken fixtures in the room (blind didn't fully close, one light didn't work etc)

Pros: The location in Giverny near Monet’s garden and house was perfect for my plan to arrive around 1pm, visit the house and gardens, dine locally then drive to Charles de Gaulle airport the next morning. We loved the way the original buildings had been restored and converted into accommodation. We also loved how accommodating the staff were to our need for a 7:30am breakfast.
