Pros: Very personal attention, great desire to please the guests. Swimming in the lake.
Pros: The breakfast was amazing! And the hosts was very friendly and accessible. Very clean room!
Pros: The owner was very kind and hospitable. We found a little piece of paradise in the wood. I really enjoyed how quiet it was in the night. The ambiance with the Christmas lights, decorations and fireplace made it super cozy and magical. We were able to play boardgames in front of the fire and the owner was full of little attentions. Our room was extra cozy, hearthwarming and the bed extra comfy. I loved the elevated bathtub with all the little natural products to pamper. Finally, breakfast and fresh coffee the next day was excellent (fresh omelette with appetizers). I really appreciated that the owner served breakfast at the time of our choosing so we could rest in the morning.
Cons: The only negative point was that the gite is located deep in the wood and getting there with all the snow and ice and hills late at night with a small car made it challenging.
Pros: The Greeting ,the looks of the place ,the comfort of the room , swimming in a beautifull clean lake and mch more.....
Pros: The breakfast is delicious, perfect to start a morning!
Pros: the room
Located in Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson, Le Viking Resort & Marina is on a lake, within a 5-minute drive of Hors Limite and Esterel Golf Club. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The property itself. It is beautifully located, clean, and quiet.
Cons: The fact that my guest and I wanted a massage and the masseuse who was not onsite never bothered to call back the hotel to say if she was available or not that day or the day after. Very, very disappointed!!!
Pros: Quiet, modern and spacious... Loved the skating on the lake behind the hotel... Overall it was a spectacular stay.
Pros: This is a modern yet cozy place with fantastic view, amazing people and incredibly location. We would definitely come back
Pros: A beautiful hotel with excellent facilities. Very clean and comfortable.
Pros: The rooms were very clean, and the facilities and décor very modern. Spacious room
Cons: Sound isolation was not very good (we could hear our neighbors during the night)
Pros: Excellent location and comfortable accommodation
Cons: Lack of adequate parking space
Pros: The condo was very comfortable and well located. Loved the outside hot tub. Loved the gym. We had a great time with our little pooch. Also appreciate that dogs are allowed and not extremely expensive as in some other locations. Also appreciated the indoor parking. Well worth the extra charge to have the car under ground. Will definitely be back.
Cons: Only found it a little cold to get in and out of the hot tub. Also found it difficult to get in. The steps on the inside of the hot tub are not in the right location to gain access. The step on the outside gets very slippery with the cold. Maybe if there was more of a shelter from the wind, it would make it easier to get in and out.
Cons: The floors are dirty The room smelled really bad
Pros: super clean
Cons: you have to pay for everything, coffee, room service, etc...
Pros: Really clean, property is new, great view on the terrace.
Cons: Property is not meant for family. Staff was not friendly. Not much too do around

Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything was perfect, little paradise
Pros: Food at restaurants was quite good and 10$ cocktails at pool bar very decent size. Great location, just an hour from the city on a beautiful lake. Fun (expensive) water activities. It was nice to escape the city and get away for a night, despite the negatives we would go back but maybe purchase a package prior.
Cons: Service was not great - dinner and breakfast waiters had to be reminded several times for bread, water, wine (that was ordered paired with meal but meal arrived without the wine!) and cutlery. Staff was average and didnt go out of their way for you, as is often seen in North American resorts and pricier hotels. Slowest checkout I have ever seen. We received a text to do a Express checkout but the instructions did not make any sense! Everything is extra if you haven't purchased a package - water activities 20$/hr per kayak/SUP etc. It should be included at a resort. Rooms were nice but you could see the wear and tear on some of the furniture.
Pros: Beautiful location. Clean. Staff was very professional!
Cons: The adult pool was not as clean as the non adult pool. Not enough chairs at the pool/beach to accommodate all the guests
Pros: The room was nicely decorated and clean. The room had everything one might need.
Cons: The front desk staff was not very professional or welcoming! We expected to be greeted with a smile but instead had to deal with staff that looked way too passive and overworked. I called the front desk staff night before for some information regarding Payment and they gave me one answer but when we physically got to the front desk, they said the info given was incorrect. Once we got our room keys we were acquainted with the elevator - the only elevator going up in the whole hotel! It took us almost 10 minutes to go up to our room because the elevator seemed to malfunction. Once in the room we could finally relax. The room was clean and seemed spacious enough for 2 people because of the decor. We had the garden view and its nothing exiting. Basically see more of the Parking than the "garden" - which itself is just a patch of grass with some rocks. We then went to check out the facilities. Just ok. There are a few hot baths and a few cold baths, 2 small swimming pools and a conservative beach spot. Indoor there was a sauna, and a steam room. We were 2 adults just needing a day away from the kids - and thats exactly what we got. The hot baths were amazing under the stars. There was mostly couples there (up to 5 couples per bath) We spent the remaining time in our room and drove to grab some quick bite outside the hotel. All in all worth 187 CAD bucks. Probably won't come back again because the staff seemed miserable and it didnt put us in a vacation mood. But the checkout was quick and painless - wish the check in would be the same!
Pros: Room was beautiful and modern. Beds were extremely comfortable ( King size bed and Queen size Murphy bed). Kitchenette made it very convenient for our family of three. Hot tubs were amazing, and the lake was beautiful. Really loved the hammocks and swings right in the lake.
Cons: Restaurants are all gourmet style and very expensive. There were no family friendly options. Most resorts have free coffee in the lobby but here you can only buy at the cafe. Finally, the activity desk staff need to be friendlier. You book your kayaks, padal boards etc with them. Everything costs extra... Front desk staff were excellent.
Pros: Beautiful resort, quite a lot to do. amazing staff. Some pools are for adults only. If you want more peace and quiet, it is best to select a room in the Evolution building.
Cons: I think the furniture in the rooms could be updated (living room table a bit worn out for expl). Given the price of the rooms, a pass for the water activities should automatically be added.
Pros: The room was nice and big. Washroom has separate shower and big tub. Kitchenette, dining table, 2 TVs walkout to balcony. Very enjoyable.
Cons: Activities such as kayak and canoe rentals are only up to 5 pm. That was a major thing I did not like. It would be nice if they extend it to 7 or 8 pm in summer. Also would you be nice if they had a small play ground for kids.
Pros: Rooms restos little beach sauna
Cons: A bit pricey
Pros: Beds very comfortable
Cons: More staff required ar activity centre and more consistent information for new guests
