Comfortable stay, great swimming pool

The swimming pool was fantastic and a nice treat! The restaurant food was good and helpful staff.

The decoration was a little bit old fashioned but it was very clean.

Always enjoy The Regio great Plato's combinados easy access for Salamanca by bus from hotel, really wonderful swimming pool open 10am-2100.

Breakfast good, meal on the evening not so good. Ordered sauté potatoes and chicken breast with salad, actually got large salad, chips and a couple of chicken slices. Did not fancy tuna fish salad or I would have ordered it.

As usual the receptionist was very helpful. The bar were very friendly.

The food had to be sent back because it was cold. The head waiter was very off hand.

Great hotel for our overnight stop on the way to the Algarve. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice bedroom and very clean and comfortable ,with a balcony and chairs where we enjoyed an afternoon glass of wine

It was a very pleasant stay, clean and not too far from sights, and restaurants

The garage attendant made a comment that my motorcycle had a switch that could be turned on without the ignition, he implied that he was concerned about my battery , he could not of known about this unless he had touched my motorcycle

We have used this hotel for several year and we think the bread and croissants have dropped in quality but otherwise the breakfast is very good.

Excellent hotel. Very good location just outside lovely city of Salamanca with frequent bus connection to city. Lots of parking. Very clean and quite spacious rooms. Good restaurant and breakfast. Friendly staff.

Easy to find locationn

The breakfast was pretty good. My only suggestion would be that, perhaps, the fruit could be provided already prepared, as it is in a lot of other hotels. It's a bit tricky to peel some of the fruit offered eg kiwi fruit with a fairly blunt knife. The rooms are lovely, spacious, well equipped and the beds are super comfortable. The bathrooms are really quite swishy. The pool and pool area are very good and also great, safety wise, if you had children with you. The location is good, with nearby places in Sta Marta del Tormes to visit at night and or the on site bar/restaurant. Regular bus service to Salamanca city comes into hotel car park and is inexpensive.

The Reception staff were very helpful and on the first night, Sunday 9 June the waiters were very good.

On Monday 10 June the restaurant staff were awful. The main course of schnitzel was inedible. We were going to have dessert to make up for the poor main course but the waiter did not offer us a menu so we decided enough was enough and went to our room.

The fact that they have their own bus stop....ideal for getting into the city.

Although the cost of the room was excellent, the price of food and drink was on the high side.

Large well maintained public areas and bedrooms. Immaculately maintained grounds with beautiful gardens. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of free parking spaces. Very clean and tidy. Regular return bus service ( one per hour) at the Hotel to and from the historical centre of Salamanca. Overall the Hotel represents excellent value for money.

Not much not to like about the hotel, although soundproofing between rooms could be improved.

The hotel is more or less 10 minutes out of Salamanca, which is quite close and enables the property to offer numerous parking spaces. The price/quality relation was tremendously good - the room had the biggest bed I've slept in and it was quite comfortable!

Super hotel , loads of free parking , impressive lobby, rooms and fittings ..... Lovely bathroom super large towels....just surpassed our expectations. Large bar area and Resturant ,,,but we didn’t eat .... Close to the motorway travelling north/south...

The overall experience was very good: big room, good bed, staff was friendly. The location of the hotel is also good. It's overall good value for money. We only stayed 1 night as we were travelling through but I would definitely stay there again.

Prices in restaurant for meals/drinks about level with city centre places. Has a adjacent site for caravans etc. Friendly staff. 5 minutes walk to shops/tapas/bars/ banks etc along the road from the hotel.Popular with coach tour groups. visited mid september 2018

The pool was wonderful and the room with a balcony was good. The bus for Salamanca stops in the car park, meaning you don't need to drive into the town. The decor is dated but still all well kept. The staff were all friendly and attentive.

The breakfast was ok but the pastries a bit dry and the fruit, unusually for Spain, not ripe. But given the price I paid it was not going to be top quality. As vegetarians, the cafe doesn't offer any options and cooked vegetables at breakfast would have been a nice option, mushrooms, tomatoes. There was lots of meat on offer, so food probably good for meat eaters.

I liked the location close to the motorway, the facilities including easy parking and the large swimming pool, the size of the bedroom, the hospitality and efficiency of the staff and, overall, the good quality to price ratio. I am pleased to recommend this place.

Good location with plenty of free safe parking. We only had an overnight stay but my kids were impressed with the extra facilities they could have used if we’d had more time - i.e. big swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball court. Rooms clean and very comfortable, we ate in the restaurant and the food and service was very good. I would definitely stay here at Regio again.

Excellent pool, black out blinds, air con, huge rooms mainly with balcony. We have stayed here many times, the bus stops in the hotel car park & takes you right to the majors plaza.

Nothing, except the restaurant bread buns in tge restaurant are like concrete but that's obviously how they like them in Salamanca!

Excellent base to explore Salamanca and surroundings. In the past we located ourselves in the centre of the city. This time we stayed in the Regio which is a short distance distance from the centre ...
