Tv remote did not work. refrigator did not work. Tub drain in the bathroom did not work. No plug ins in the bathroom. No coffee pot in the room. Would not stay here again. No heat in the bathroom area.
Location, room rate very reasonable. Owner very nice.
There was no one at the desk when it came time for check out.. No drop box for the key so I left the key on the table in the room.. No coffee or tea available. The location is great for the price. There was old soap left in the bathroom from a best western. The bed comfortable and room was clean. Enjoyed the use of the private jacuzzi. The owner very nice and conversational. We will definitely stay there for future trips. We rate between a 1-10: a 6...
Nice and clean room, very friendly staff, comfortable bed!
Nothing---I couldn't get out of their fast enough.
Everything. As soon as I walked into the lobby area I regretted purchasing the hotel online before I walked in. When I walked into the 'motel' room, I told my husband I would rather sleep in the car. I'm not snooty about hotels, this was horrible!I couldn't even fathom sleeping under the blankets. I slept on top with a travel blanket that I brought with me and put a sweatshirt over my pillow. My daughter was with us and the twin bed that she slept on....the sheets looked like they were from the 1970's -- faded and disgusting. None of us took our shoes off until we climbed into bed for the evening. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody!
Most horrible disgusting place to staymost horrible place to stay. carpets were absolutely disgusting, bathroom floors were black w/ filth and other people's hair, bath tub was black and disgusting where u put your feet , old toothepaste left in sink, toilet had leftover poop smears,no curtains on windows just blinds u can see thru. We had to buy $100 worth of cleaning supplies cuz owner gets really mad when u bring up bad housekeeping and no matter what u do or say he will not refund any money. Spend the extra money for a nicer stay. Also, watch our for bed bugs
Not too much to like about the hotel. Location is not that bad, considering the options in Salida.
Too many things to list. Really really old, last updates are probably from the 70's or 80's. Checkout is to early in my opinion. This is the most basic motel, not a hotel. The price however is steep for this type of accommodation.
The staff was friendly and the room was clean.
The shower head was way to low and the toilet whistled when you flushed it. The internet connection was not good. Not a bad place, but the price was to high for what you get!!!
Helpful staff, easy access to room, conveniently located on west end of highway
Bed was a little stiff. Would've liked more than two pillows.Nice, cheap place to stay. Expect what you pay for. About 20-25 minute walk to the restaurants on east end of highway. Other hotels/motels definitely closer. 20-30 walk to historic downtown Salida. Pets were welcome though we didn't have any. Didn't get to try out the jacuzzi either.
