I checked out in two hours after checking in. Its too pricey for it's condition. *They are asking customers for $100 cash deposit
Pros. Convenient location
Cons. The toilet was dirty in the first room I was in. The guy in the room next to me was very loud. Then to switch rooms I had to walk to the opposite end of the hotel to the elevator and the lady at the front desk was upset when i told her that the room was dirty because I initially cleaned the toilet MYSELF because I didn't wnt to drag all my stuff downstairs after a long day of travel. I got the impression she would have just put someone else in the room. Anyway my new room was ok. The second morning I went up to my room after working a 13 hour shift overnight and my door wouldn't open. She "rekeyed" my card and it didn't work. I went downstairs again and she gave me a new card and...it didn't work. Once again I went downstairs to the lobby and she said maintenance just left and wouldn't be back for an hour. She was not too happy when she had to go and open the room for me. Access to the rooms is not very easy either. There are stairs down to the lobby or you access through the parking garage down a hill. I had to park in the back, opposite of my room and opposite of the easiest elevator access.
Pros. Property has a tropical appearance, Third floor room was a suite with a king bed. A/C worked excellent, property was well maintained, continental breakfast was the usual. Id definitely return.
Cons. Some hair foind in thebathroom, bathroom fan very noosy
Pros. Pool was always empty. We have a special need child. Empty pool worked good for us.
Cons. A/c , fridge were noisy
Cons. One of the dirtiest hotels I've ever been too. We paid for 2 queens but they only had one king avalible so my husband and my friend and I all slept cramped into one bed. When we walked into the room there was an over powering smell of mildew. All our towels were wet and stained and the bathroom was doscusting. There were fingerprints and smears all over the door. The light switches were all pushed in and broken. I've stayed in some icky places but this one takes the cake. It's rated so high for what quality it offers. Also not handicap friendly
Pros. Decent suites at decent price. 12 dollar cab ride to Viejas arena. Parking a bit of a hassle when garage is full. Only ice machine is by second floor elevator. Elevator is super slow, and the trudge up to the third floor was a pain. Other than that, good value. I would stay here again, but would book earlier to guarantee second floor room.
Pros. Price and nearness to Qualcom Stadium.couldn't
Cons. We had called one week in advance to change our reservation. When we arrived there was no record of the change. We were lucky that they had vacancies. In the confusion, we were overcharged for four nights when we only stayed three. The desk clerk couldn't directly refund us $89.99, and we are having to dispute the charge through Discover.
Pros. I liked the value for the room, the type of breakfast they had, it was just muffins, juice and coffee. Room was very spacious. We had 4 adults and 4 children and we all fit in one room comfortably. I like how they don't charge for children that's great, since we were able to get one room.
Cons. I didn't like how the bathroom was kind of dirty and the kitchen had this awful smell to it. It smelled like bad breath, it was terrible and it was only in the kitchen area. The bottom of the shower was almost black, but I mean it didn't really matter all that much since I always wear flip flops in hotel showers.
Pros. Pool size was nice. Location was in quiet neighborhood.
Cons. Hotel needs some updating and some deep cleaning. Hotel needs overall TLC to be worth the price being paid for.
