Pros: The breakfast was awesome every morning!!! It was a thrill to come to the table for breakfast to see what was being served. We had a different type of baked from scratch muffin every morning!!! The fresh fruit always kicked off the breakfast along with very nice Ecuadorian coffee. The eggs were always served hot and accompanied with one or more ingredients from ham and cheese to potatoes and veggies. Breakfast kept us going all day. The food was local fresh and so nutrient dense that we didn't even think about lunch!!!
Pros: The hosts are very friendly. Their dogs are well behaved. Jodi's breakfast is the best I've had at a bed and breakfast!
Cons: The towns power is known to go out from time to time but the property has a generator to fix he temporary problem.
Pros: A beautiful gated oasis in the middle of town. Jodi and Wayne are very nice hosts. Jodi made the most amazing breakfasts ( we are taking excellent) every morning we were there. We were there 5 nights. They have beautiful landscaping .The pool and area surrounding pool is so lovely and relaxing. We had the room upstairs . I would say rustic ,clean and sooo charming.! The adorable deck with view of the pool had the banos and shower out on the deck. So cool! Loved!
Cons: The property was great. My husband is a surfer and the surf did not seem good there. Only down side for us.
Pros: The property is beautifully landscaped and newly renovated, with a small pool and jacuzzi. I felt so pampered here by the facilities and the cheerful owners. There are 2 guest rooms, both with porches overlooking the pool and flowering plants. Ours was the Queen Bedroom. Bed was comfortable and had mosquito net. With the door to porch and windows open, the evening breezes are perfect for sleeping. The bathroom was ample and to N American hotel standards. Wifi included 3 routers on property! The breakfast is ample, delicious, and custom-made! I received fresh-made gluten free muffins. Such a treat.
Pros: Jody and Wayne are fantastic, super friendly and extemely helpful and acomodating. The breakfast is SUPERB!!! We found a little piece of Paradise in San Clemente and can't wait to be back, absolutely LOVED it!!!
Pros: First and foremost, our hosts were wonderful, warm, authentic and delightful. Our room was a cute dormer style ceiling with excellent air conditioning. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh. Then, the breakfasts! They were wonderful. Fresh home made muffins, frittatas, omelets and french toast (with crispy bacon and real Canadian maple syrup) were served the three nights we stayed. Also each morning we had fresh fruit and delicious ecuadorian coffee. The location was perfect for walking to local restaurants and shops. At the property, there was a delightful sparkling pool to cool off in on those hot afternoons, set in a charming garden. Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great.
Pros: We liked being up in the loft. It's a bit more private. Nice gardens and swimming pool. Jodi made us a delicious breakfast each day. Both Jodi and Wayne are great hosts they even invited us to their Super Bowl party! San Clemente is a small town and a bit rustic. There are some good restaurants and of course the beach is very close by. Overall a good experience and good value!
Cons: No shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. We ran out of space to put things.
Pros: The breakfast was great and the shower was great.
Pros: Super leckeres Fruehstueck. Felt right at home. Special thanks to Wayne, a great host, great dude. Simply the best!
Pros: Wayne and Jody are excellent hosts and the breakfast was fantastic. No one will leave hungry here. Pool was nice and the place was very clean and comfortable. Most relaxing place we have been in Ecuador. Great conversation and felt more like just visiting friends than renting a room.
Cons: Really have no complaints at all

Pros: Awesome clean pool. Great amenities. Wonderful staff. We have stayed here on a few occasions and it always is a treat. Best place in San Clemente.
Cons: That we had to leave!
Pros: This property is the diamond on the beach. Look out through the entrance gates and the Pacific surf awaits you. Sunsets are incredible. Our room, more like a two bedroom apartment, looked out over the pool and gardens. The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. The pool is extremely clear and clean as is the rest of the property. Our room featured two bedrooms, one full and one half bathroom, a kitchen with refrigerator, cook top, microwave, toaster oven, and dining area. The mattresses were extra firm for enjoyable slumber. Coffee was available every morning and beer was also available all day in the reception area. For transportation, bicycles could be borrowed and the buses which run every 15 minutes, will stop outside the gate. For $5 the staff would prepare breakfast. Laundry service is also available. We spent many an enjoyable conversation with Kim the owner, while she was at the property. We traveled the area extensively in San Clemente and San Jacinto, and I don't think you will find a superior property and friendlier staff.
Cons: There wasn't much not to like.
