Close to airport. Free shuttle to/from airport & Verona center.Friendly and helpful staff in reception. Very good restaurant too although a bit pricy. Breakfast ok. Only a minor thing. You can only access Internet with a cable. No Wifi available in bedrooms.
very central and modern
Good curtins and comfortalbe matress.
location is perfect. very close to airport and have the shuttle service.staff are friendly. it will be good if the toilet kits have more things such as body lotion..but this is not a big thing. overall i am happy with my stay and i will choose this hotel again.
dining room was not up to the rest of the facilities standard
An ideal airport hotel at the Verona airport. Normally airport hotels provide early breakfast for the early-birds leaving the hotel really early, this one does not.
Very nice hotel. It's more like 5 star when you're in your room.
modern facilities and indoor pool
english speaking staff, bed linnens, convenient to airport, Price
It was extremely clean, modern, spacious. I would definitely stay there again. Front reception spoke perfect English also. Free shuttle to airport was also a bonus that I did not expect. No. it was a breath of fresh air!
Breakfast. Quality of beverage (coffie and any other drink far below a 4 star hotel standard)
We like it very much. It is located in a quiet area ideal for families. Many activities for childen, swimming pools, playing areas. The staff was very helpful.
We were to pay 574 according to booking but we got the bill which was 150 euos over the bill. We feel mislead. Your form should ask for age of child upon arrrival and calculate according to that so customer know what they expect to pay and can decide accordingly as it was very inconvenient for customer There was communication problem. We missed flight & phoned we could not make it.But if they can change our booking we will take flight following day they said it is alright. But they added no show later to the bill laterThey told us that your family cancelled to visit while they said they were on their way to visit us.Internet not working told will not have to pay but were charged bill
When we arrived, we were pleasantly suprised by gifts from management. There are quite many sport activities in the hotel. Animation program is good. Staff was polite, but cold and without single smile.
spacious rooms, good swimming pool Breakfast was not with good quality or fresh products (boiled and scrambled eggs were cold, coffee taste...cake not fresh
It's a fantastic hotel , really amazing, clean and worth for money. this hotel is a grea hotel to stay especially with family...............it was really good and looking forward to come again. Location perfect, Meals excellent and great shows from the annimators as well. Thanks Amanda Azzopardi, Malta
I would struggle to say anything positive. Staff unhelpful, not even approaching you at the desk just sitting there and mumbling. Outdoor pool advertised, asked staff what time it opened, told 9am, go to pool to find no water in it. Told about restaurants and grill bar being open until midnight, go for something to eat at 2130 to be told restaurant not open until May, this is April. The only other restaurant in the hotel closed at 2000 hours. Told to walk to golf hotel for dinner, closed at 2200 hours and staff most unhelpful as if I was a burden. Tried to use the gym, told opened at 9am. Brekfast finishes at 10 am, if this is a sports & leisure, complex why open the gym that late, people like to use gymnasiums then eat, this timing issue prevented that happening. V poor experience.
Good hotel for that price If I wouldn't have navigacion I wouldn't find it.
The rooms were clean and good for a family stay. I would recommend this place to others The staff where unfriendly, asking them for some information was close to impossible and breakfast needs to be upgraded.
very clean, good food, excellent animacion, good size of pool....-that was a super holiday in this hotel for our family! It is simply impossible in the first trace to find the hotel! Map give no informacion how to drive in.We spend 2 hours searching!!!
The staff were rude and really unhelpful. No-one around the pool bar to serve drinks. Got charged the wrong price when checking out and the staff never apologised and it took them 30 minutes to sort out!
The location is wonderful, the area has alot to offer Too noisy and smelled of sulfur in the room.
The setting/location is sensational. My car was not parked by the staff on check in as promised. I got a 38 Euro parking ticket that I do not know how to pay since I am back in Canada. he staff was completely rude and not willing to help.
Excellent hotel. Clean and luxurious.Good facilities Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Took one hour to get bags to room! Supposed to get complimentary mini bar then refused because we had only booked a "comfort room"
I liked the location in the town also it's convienence to Verona the standard of accommodation was good I would stay here again The quality of breakfeast was poor
Beautiful situation in the old town
We have been in this hotel many times. We are always return back to this hotel 3 or 4 times per year. Nice swimming pool, nice place. Thank you.
Superb position on lakeside and lots of small shops and alley ways to explore. Easy access to other lakeside villages via inexpensive and comfortable boat service. Would avoid peak holiday time as it would be very busy and not so enjoyable. Best ice cream parlours (and so many) for a small village. Comfortable rooms. Helpful staff. Good value for money. Overall an enjoyable experience. Might try the spa next time though it looked a little pricey. If you dont book half board, the restaurant is really out of bounds. The 50 euro per person set menu was too much for us in terms of the amount of food and a deterrent to occasional diners but maybe that is the policy of the hotel. We were advised there was no a la carte menu. The lighting in the restaurant was very bright and a bit clinical. Candles would have improved the ambiance but there are many excellent restaurants of varying price within easy walking distance of the hotel, so eating out was not a problem. There are many room grades and it is not easy to select what is right for you. We would have liked a balcony. Take a mosquito deterrent with you and dont open the windows when you have lights on at night
The location was very convienant to the harbour and for sight seeing
view of lake tired and old in many respects. no wifi in rooms
Hotel was excellent - very clean, confortable, and super staff
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was quite isolated so had to travel everywhere by car or other transport.
Everyone was friendly & helpful & this helped us relax as we had not been to Italy previously. No kettle in the room was my only bug bear
The room was immaculately clean and we had a good sized balcony. The Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly whenever we asked for any advice or directions. The hotel did not have a restaurant - only served breakfast. We found this a bit strange as there were no restaurants within easy walking distance. No tea/coffee facilities in bedroom which would have been appreciated.
the curtains in the rooms where ripped, the bathroom floor was dirty. you should also tell the clients when they book lake view, that there is a street inbetween and it is better book the side to the pool. the spa was very good, but on Sunday, there is now service, no candles lighted. the front office staff depends on the time of the day. the evening staff was very rude, the night receptionst nice and in the morning nice too. view street inbetween the lake and the hotel, bathroom floors, curtains,
location between sirmione and desenzano, swimming pool, terrace overseeing the lake, free parking , very helpful staff. internet too expensive (9 euros / day) , a little bit of noise coming from the road.
pool very nice quite near road
comfortable room in a hotel away from the main tourist areas of lake garda. . Very isolated hotel (no restauarant in hotel) no bars or restaurants near by. If you dont have your own car transport to the most popular areas on the Lake is very diifficult. The hotel advertises a shuttle bus which only runs 3 times a day at times that suit the hotel and not the guests who may want to catch ferries on the Lake at the best times
Room clean, reception staff friendly and helpful. Services ok and the breakfast good. On site parking was an asset as it is located some distance from resturants. The bar staff were not attentive and non existent, we were completely ignored and left after waiting some 10 minutes for service. There was only 4 other patrons in the bar!!
Providing having a car the location is excellent to discover Lake Garda, Milan, Verona and others like Venice. nothing
Nice pool. good restaurent with a view.wonderfull new apartment the first week Nice young staff to help always and everywhere. good entertainment during day and evening Our children were to old to this place. They are teens, maybee something to this age would be nice too?
We stayed in the Bungalow trilo comfort (4+2), 4 addults. It is located in a new 2 store building , very comfortable apartment. The village is situated in a good location for "star" trips. Bed linen and towels are supplied with no extra cost, and the check-out cleaning is included in the price as well. The guests have to bring/buy some basic products for the kitchen, from dishes liquid, towels etc. to sugar, salt, etc. Also there is a lack of pan, kettle, and some cooking accessories.
The room is comfortable and clean. reception is responsive and helpful. The walls are thin and you can hear the other guests.the bungalows are not closed to the beach. Most facilities (boat rental, kids activities) are closed by mid September.
Location, friendly staff. Nice apartment with terrace, kitchenette and good shower. Camping area had affordable grocery store and ok restaurant. Parking was also arranged nicely. Nights were cold and the air conditioning machine couldn't warm up the apartment. German student groups made 'some noise' at the couple of nights.
Excellent place clean, comfortable, very good modern appartment and regulate temperature yourself.Very good mini market.Village in lovely area. Walls not sound proof so you have to have good neighbours ! Swimming pool closed in last week of October ,only opens Saturday. We were not there on a Saturday so couldnt go there.
Excellent location of village, clean and organised Village's amenities (supermarket and internet) are expensive
Friendly staff. Nice, clean and comfortable rooms. Safe parking. A very good place for a family stay. The hotel was closing on Sunday 31st Oct although Monday 1st of Nov was a holiday. We wanted to stay also on Sunday, to vist Movieland, Parco Nationale etc, but this was not possible.
Sirmione is a very good location, big rooms and nice kitchen. All equipment was almost new and well working. Bis supermarket (c+c MaxiGross) is near by. Was dusted under the bads, so when we opened the windows all the dust came up. The green fields are not so green and you are not allowed to use them (play, run, picnic..)
Excellent welcome even though we arrived late at night. The man who met us and guided us to our appartment noticed details that were broken and came back without us having noticed or asked for assistance. Proffessional! None really, since we were two families travelling together we noticed the difference in equipment, lack of glasses in one appartement etc.
Friendly, helpful staff and accomodation was in excellent condition. Quiet and safe for families and children Catered for mainly German tourists so didn't feel like a stay in Italy. Swimming pool water temperature was too cold for children so meant unable to make any real use of the pool for anything other than a short visit. Food was ok but not good standard for Italy the home of wonderful food.
The location of the hotel was ideal, directly on the lake and free parking for hotel guests, as well as free minibar The receptionist (Barbara) put us into a inferior room to the one we had booked and was extremely reluctant to change it - the remainder of the hotel staff were good.
Our favorite hotel in the World to date. Wonderful location, room, food, staff. Quiet swimming pool. Wonderful tables for breakfast and dinner, right by the lake. Peaceful. Free minibar and parking. Wonderful town to explore. Food fantastic with good range of local ingredients and wines. Can't wait to go back. Shame it is such a long drive from the UK! ;-)
View from the room.
old fashioned but wiyout any special cachet
It was totally relaxing. Mainly older guests. No children.. Very friendly and helpful staff especially at the reception and pool.
The exellent location -very close to historical Sirmione, very very beatiful view, thermal pool, not many people, polite and professional staff ... I have great pleasure stayed at this hotel 2 times and i am planing to stay there again.. very convenient to combine business trip to Milan with 2-3 days relaxing on the lake Garda Nothing
As well as being very well looked after, the staff worked hard to make sure our stay was without any hitch.
the internet connection was too slow for business on the day I had to use it, I gave up...
The Villa Rosa is beautiful. We have stayed in many hotels in Lake Garda and this was by far our favourite. The staff are really friendly and helpful without exception. Breakfast very good. They have thought of everything and even have a lovely shower room next to the pool for late checkout and they provide a shower pack as well. Can't wait to go back. Well done to everyone at Villa Rosa!
good modern hotel and in a central location for the lake and walking into the town beds are very hard and uncomfortable
Great location close to center/restaurants, top service, great breakfast, very friendly, great parking facilities, very clean, nice pool. Rooms small, never enough toilet paper, noisy road in front (no problem in the rooms in the back)
Friendly staff and good food
Beautiful hotel right in front of the lake and a beach. It has a lovely terrace for breakfast and drinks in the evening, and very helpful staff. The hotel is a short walk from Desenzano centre - which is a vibrant place, with good bars and restaurants, and a very pretty port. Our balcony was supposed to look over the garden of the hotel, but we found that in fact it looked over the car park. This just meant we did not use the balcony - but the hotel was so nice otherwise it didn't really matter. The hotel is also on a main road, so it is not quite as peaceful as other hotels / other resorts on the lake might be - but it is not a particularly busy main road and still has idyllic views of the lake.
Everything about this hotel is excellent. It is in a great location (only 5 mins from the main square in Desenzano), extremely clean, the staff were always very friendly and helpful, the pool area is very clean / quiet and relaxed, the room was spacious and had a great view from the balcony and the range of options on the breakfast menu was outstanding.
quiet relaxing environment friendly helpful staff no
Relaxing atmosphere Expensive, no tea making facilities, charge for pool towels
Helpful staff, convenient and picturesque location, cleanliness, excellent and fresh breakfast selection.
got un upgrade on room and children were not charged. nice swiming pools and small open air area dedicated to children. parking place offered for free, whic a rare thing in italy. shuttle service to center of sirmione was not running frequently staying most of time idle at the parking
The hotel is not so suitable for demipension. The timeschedule is only for one hour.
The staff was very frendly and helpful. Location was good, out of turisty area of Sirmione. The very small bathroom and the fact that there were no bathrobes or slippers offered. Not having any posibility to acces the Internet was a minus as well.
The restaurant Location too distant from the delightful Sirmione Town. Holiday camp setting/image. Not ideal for mature travellers
Swimming pool Too far from the town and no atmosphere.
they offer us half board accomodation for three persons .but the price is for two persons only breakfast.very good price! thanks them !
Good location, rooms are very clean
very quiet and peaceful hotel gives comfortable feeling the bar was very poor and was not any entertainment. there is not enough decoration
The hotel design is nice also the rooms are large and nice. Location is very good for Sermione and Desezano tours on Garda lake. Breakfast is great. Although we didn't have time for relax at the pool the pool looks great. Balcony was full of insects.
We liked the fresh design of an the hotel, and the view of the room. The 'fine cuisine' of the restaurant isn't that fine, quality not the best. We were served by very unfriendly waiters. In the bar of the hotel, same service than in the restaurant. It's a pity, because, that takes the charm of the hotel.
relax, enjoy, wellness
Nice design, comfort
The Gof Hotel was a great place to relax, enjoy good food and take in the views. Room service could have been better.
The location, views and golf facility No
friendly staff, good food. Rooms a good size with great facilities none
the view on the lake badly functioning facilities
Breakfast was good The bath was too narrow. We were dissappointed with the quality of the room as we paid for a "superior" room. It was small and very basic. The hotel staff said that the only difference between the standard and superior was that superior had a fridge. I would expect all rooms in a 4* hotel to have a fridge.
no shower, no lake view which i requested and poor selection for breakfast, the egg machine took to long (about 15 mins to boil an egg)
Great view of the lake and good central location within the town. Room and bathroom was large and clean.
This is a lovely hotel in a great setting. Ask for a room overlokking th lake. Good breakfast too. Very good value for money.
Good value for money The rooms with the best position (overlooking the lake) were not the best fitted out - seems illogical & the Hotel will be losing out on its room rate because of this.
We loved the lake view room ,The decor was really nice and the room itself was warm which was needed as it was the end of november. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Lake view room was superb and the location is ideal.
i loved everything the parking place, which outside of the old city
We stayed in a junior suite which on the whole was very nice. The gourmet restaurant was very good, if expensive. The hotel was very peaceful and staff very friendly. Main drawback was the bed being hard and uncomfortable which we were not expecting from a luxury hotel. The bathroom was large with both a shower and a bath, but only one sink so you could not both get ready together which I might have expected from a junior suite. Be careful that this hotel is on the top of a steep hill which may be difficult for some people to access.
Fantastic garden and situation of the property outside on Sirmione
We liked the Concierge, the grounds, the history, the natural beauty, location, The hotel was rundown, antiquated infrastructure ( not 5 Star!!!) -plumbing, electrical, telephone, .. This does deserve a five star rating based on services and facilities. It has a very depressing feel to it as though it was an dowdy relic of the past not suited to modern travelers'needs.
Hotel setting and grounds beautiful. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Lovely hotel with first class location. a real experience.
Access to the hotel is difficult with many pedestrians on your way
We like hotels location, staff, comfort, food. Everything was great.
Staff were attentive and helpfull. The breakfasts were very good, much more than average "continental". The steeing of the hotel was wonderfull - couldn't have been nearer to the lake! There was no wireless internet connection at all in the hotel. The rooms did not have drink making facilities.
Very convenient--within the walls, just by the castle, and it's right near the boat to other towns on Lake Garda. Nothing! It was great.
Wonderful view of the bay Parking is difficult
The location of the hotel is very good The room is small
Location. Staff were friendly. There are no facilities apart from breakfast. The restaurant attached runs as a seperate establishment and it's not always possible to get a table. The room was hot with no view. Evening maid service was sporadic.
The Hotel Eden is in an excellent location right next to the ferry port and with easy access to the restraunts and shops. The Breakfast was fantastic. The walls were very thin and the decor dated.
location is excellent.staff very helpful
Very good location, and parking (if you travel by car)
The location of the hotel, inside the old town, on the waterfront
The scenery at Lake Garda was stunning the drive to the hotel was not easy. You have to drive through a heavily pedestrianised area to get to the hotel
location just outside the hustle and bustle Though is was overpriced
the welcoming of the staff and the design of the hotel
very pleasant staff the breakfast was very limited in choice
Breakfast, friendly personal Air Condition
Friendliness of staff, nice rooom (although not truly a suite), great location and view
The staff and the hotel were both excellent and the location was ideal, being in a quieter part of Sirmione, yet only 5 minutes walk from the centre.Service was both polite and friendly and the rooms were always spotless. The food was good and the wine list extensive, though a little on the expensive side.No complaints No
Very peaceful and excellent service
Very tranquil, relaxing and intimate setting. Close to historic centre. Hotel location makes it challenging to reach by car as it means driving through busy and narrow pedestrian streets.
within the walls of an old medieval town but away from all the noise left with several mosquito btes.i
Helpful and friendly staff, warm, clean rooms, good variety of food at breakfast good location
The staff at the hotel were absolutely fabulous - the guys on the reception were particularly great.
good service, friendly staff with addition of charges for baby cot and breakfast total cost was quite high but we do realise lake garda is a relatively expensive area
The staff and the location The breakfast which was poor and the management who were rude
Beautiful location, Hotel was right on the waterfront and serviced by great staff.
position and facilities
Waterfront location, good free parking, large choice of restaurants near by Outside noise Saturday night.
very near to the center car park is not according to the standerd
The hotel was well kept and had charm, central location and helpful staff. Coffee was not good, which you would expect being in Italy.Breakfast could be better.
Silence, greenery, nice and helpful stuff, perfect lokation for the attractions. We didn't like the brick bungalow / apartment/.It was very old and dark, but we told to the reception and they were very polite and gave us mobile home which was perfect.
Very good for families with small children and for access to Lake Garda
great location.nice, tidy apartments. The kitchen is well equipped. The restaurant on the site is really great.
Cheap, good location, well organised, staff spoke excellent english. if your staying in a tent your packed in very tightly wih other people
Campsite itself was reasonable and in a nice location by lake and town. Staff were helpful. Good bar and a big screen for the World Cup! "Apartment" accomodation was dreadful - small, old and dated. AirCon, fridge and stove were useless. Bunk bed had broken edge and missing rung on ladder. Kids club was poor compared to French experience last year. Pool slides were disappointing.
We stayed at Camping del Garda with my mom during 7-12 May and had wonderful time there. The campsite is actually overlooking the Lake Garda. The Lake itself is really beautiful - there are many small towns on it worth visiting. We made a trip around the lake by ship - took it to Malcesine and back (20.40 Eur return per 1 adult)and it was really nice. At Malcesine there is a funiculer which takes you to the highest mountain where you can overlook the Lake (14 Eur). The Peschiera del Garda town, where the campsite is, is really nice as well and worth visiting. The campsite is also 15 min walk from the Peschiera railway station which is really handy. There are also few supermarkets around (we visited 2 so far) - Migros and Penny. Peny is really cheap one. They both are off Monte Baldo street and about 7-10 minutes walk from the campsite. There are also 2 restourants at the camp, we tried just one - Garda, where we had lovely risotto with sea products - with all the shells and huge king prawn on top :) The bungalow that we stayed at (Pini site)was lovely - clean and comfy. You have fridge, plates, cutlery, teapot, saucepans there. Also duvets and pillows. You can rent the bed linen as well for 9 Eur per change. You will need to bring your own toilet paper, soaps, cleaning stuff and towels though. Alternatively, you can buy all this at the nearest supermarket. We also had the small travelling iron with us, although there is a laundry on the site. The temperature inside it can be regulated by the airconditioning, which we used to make us warm at the night :) There is also a small safe in the room which you can use for free (at least when you stay with Active hotels). The pull was just few metres from our bungalow, but wasn't working since it opens from 11 of May. The second pull on the other sde was open, but it wasn't too hot to swim a the beginning of May. The weather was aroung 15-20 degrees, quite few raines, but we got to catch a bit of sun and had few hours of sunbath at our bungalow terrace (which is beautiful with chairs, table and low chairs provided). There is also an option to take train to Venice (1.50 h and 7.90 Eur single) or Verona (15 min and 2.35 Eur). Trains Regionale are the cheapest. btw don't forget to validate your train tickets at the yellow boxes otherwise they are not valid. The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided us with all the information we needed including printed maps and timetables. They do speak English, German and I think Dutch in additon to Italian. The people in the Town mostly don't speak English (except young students and shoolchildren), so it's worth to prepare some general phrases in Italian for yourself in a case of buying smth at railway station or if you need some help from them. The weather in May is not that hot, so if you want a lot of sunbath and swimming go in the Summer
Very cheap in October and quiet, easy to get to near by supermarket and town to catch buses and trains around the lake Need to bring your own toilet paper, rooms a bit like prison cells, the camp sites pretty much closed down in October (no supermarket, restaurant or swimming pools)
