Ok a mixed bag here. First arrived and everything was great. Amazing reception staff, fantastic well kept clean rooms and building in a well placed area of San-an I was very happy - at first
The air conditioning in the room didn’t work and it was roasting hot, so much so that it kept me awake most of the first night. I reported on the night and was told we could get it fixed in the morning. So i reported in the morning to reception on our way out to the beach. Got back to the room. Still not fixed and now it was too late again to get it fixed. So we stayed out in another hotel as I needed sleep. The next day we reported it again and it couldn’t be fixed but we were offered another room. Meaning trunking all our gear from one room to another. As it was our last night and it was late I asked if we could just leave our things in one room and use the other offered room to just sleep or if we could get a fan. I was told this was not possible. Why? The rooms wouldn’t be cleaned at 11pm. The reception staff had a huge fan on the desk for them and he wasn’t sat at the desk and it wasn’t in use - this could have been offered. So I just booked another hotel room for the night to sleep again (thankfully rooms are cheap in Ibiza at this time of year) I let the reception staff know that 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed out due to the aircon we had complained about every day....... NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY. Do the people here at Purple hotel find it impossible to say sorry. This I believe is a personal bad experience for what I’m sure is actually a fantastic hotel so please still give it a try - just don’t expect a simple sorry from the staff here though if something does do wrong.

The air con is so bad in the room we are in that it kept me up most of the night. I told the reception team but nothing has been done and I think we will need to stay somewhere else tonight - it’s that uncomfortable Had it not been for the air con this hotel would have been perfect

Our 3rd stay at this amazing little hotel. As ever, the staff were amazing. "Mother Superior", the GM, is always so very pleased to see my wonderful wife, his 'Princess'. Advertised as Gay Only, but they will accept bookings from straight couples. The artwork on display this time was very good. Was tempted to buy a piece or two, but we are in the process of moving house. The car park is very handy, especially due to the location of the hotel, and the almost complete lack of street parking. Location is spot on, with it being a 5 min walk to Cafe Mambo & Cafe Del Mar, along with the madness of the bar area the other direction. We will be back. Phil & Serena

Great friendly staff. Very Good food and drinks. Rooms with pool view are big and comfortable. Clean and all facilities are available. Pool and chill area is exactly what you want. Perfect all around great value for money. Would go back !!
