beautiful exotic park, white sandy beach with transparent and clean water, delicious food in gorgeous garden/terrasse, superb spa, etc...
garden, plants, music Personal - specialy in reception was realy not personal and warm. Everything was too uniformed not relaxed.
Clear blue waters There are 21 restaurants but in fact only one or two r worth it. Had to get up very early to get sunbeds on the beach, otherwise u pay like 20 eur everyday (it's not official!!!) to those stuff beach guys. C'mon, it's a luxury resort, isn't it?!
great place for families with children , many activities for each one, great options of rooms and food. great service from staff. price a little bit on the high .flexibility of dates
Good for families, lot of activities for kids yes, room service starts at 8 in the morning it should starts earlier and finishes more than 10 in the evening
Very close to the beach. Great Garden and Pool. Everthing was fine. Very good dinner. Actually the best dinner we had in Sardenia.
The breakfasts were so good, The dinners were excelent, every evening a tipicals plates from Sardinia (antipasto, primo e secondo). Very nice and friendly Staff. The pool is beautiful and relaxthy. The beach is lovely, white sand, crystalline water. For we the best beach around the chia. The hotel hasn't umbrellas at beach so you have to rent it, for about 26 euros per day, very expensive.
Location - short walk through gardens to beach. Lovely beach. Decor. Friendly staff - they were happy for us to use the common facilities after we checked out of the room on the last day. Nice room. A review somewhere mentioned the standard rooms were small, so not entirely sure if it was a standard room as booked, as it was a perfectly good size with a little porch. No.
Great food (half board) nice pool, quiet environment, great staff, lack of iron - we had to use their own laundry service which was expensive. I would have like dto iron my own clothes
Beautiful hotel in a nice and quiet spot near a splendid sandy beach with only a few people on it. Beuatiful pool with comfortable chairs and bathing towels avalaible in the room. Vast choice at breakfast. Friendly personnel. Bathroom and especially shower are a little bit tiny.
Kindness of staff, great food, great location near beach, comfortable room, secluded location, quality guests.
Hotel itself, surroundings, magnificient beach Although there was never surprise when I booked from booking.com, hotel did not provide us classical room although your confirmation. Our room (esp. bathroom, they assured that the rest is the same as classical) was designed to the needs of disabled. Because the hotel was all booked, they did not change our room. It was not fair when you travel all from another country in your 1 week annual leave
Very responsive staff and flexibility while offering type of stay. Bree bicycles with baby chair :-) Didn't like food at all. Very poor breakfast, limited menu at lunch and fixed dinner set for fixed price with no any choice :-(
Perfect stay. Very quiet, magnificent beach, excellent food.
Great, attentive staff. Super hospitable and nice. There are no signs and no street address to the hotel. You have to turn by the "Batixedu" restaurant, then turn into the first driveway (also no sign), due to the city not allowing them to post signage outside the "tourist" area which is further closer to town.So it is hard to find, but once you are there it is a dream.
Still difficult to find as there is absolutely no sign, not even at the entry!!!GPS Data is wrong in booking.com so it took us 1,5 hours to get in (only after we called the reception and they guided us) hotel is very nice and luxury (!) food is good and service very friendly, garden and pools is great to relax. Rooms are very small, same for bathroom (there is not even a table in the bathroom to put your belongings on) and rooms are not well noise protected so you can hear your naighbours talk (not shout) but as visitors are more upper-class (so no youth hostel atmosphere ;-) it is not to disturbing and quiet during the night. No German tv stations
Liked the private terrace in our upstairs room. Also, the peace and tranquility. Pool area was very comfortable. Staff attentive and helpful. It was hard to find ! Even though it is situated just off the main road past Pula, there Thre are , as yet, no signs at all to tell you that you're outside the Villa Borgo. Watch out for signs to the Batixxedu restaurant and be brave enough to press entryphone for the first gated entrance on the right. Apparently the signs are ready once the Local Authority give permission.
Hotel Staff, Style & Services
Lovely hotel set in an oasis, but slightly exagerated marketing of available facilities. Surrounding exterior perimeters.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nice pools in quiet and pleasant surroundings. A little isolated - car necessary, as there is no restaurant in the hotel (and only one within walking distance).
Very nice place 10 minutes from pula. The beaches in Santa Margherita and Ghia are easy to reach by car. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel ist totally new; the rooms are very comfortable and nice furnished. I liked the garden. You need a car.
The staff was very kind and helpful. Villa Del Borgo is a intimite hotel since there are only a small number of rooms. The staff knows your name and staying here is very pleasant & comfortable. The surrounding is peaceful and it is pleasant to stay around the hotel. Beach and sights are not far away.
Very friendly and always helpful staff. Great food. Very nice beach. Many activities for kids organized by dedicated hotel staff. Would have liked a slightly bigger room, sound proofing should be better for a Hotel of that category.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and I loved the train to the beach - the driver was particularly warm and professional. I didn't particularly like the restaurant right near the beach. The staff there weren't particularly welcoming. We got there 5 minutes to 4 and they didn't come to the table until 10 minutes past and then told us gruffly that the kitchen was closed and all we could have was pizza.
terrific site (most beautiful beaches I have ever seen!), also the buildings and accomoditions in the resort are lovely. very friendly people. clean room. nice breakfast. very quiet in low season (we stayed half May), the shops and some restaurants at the resort were closed. old fashioned tv with few channels.
- The beach. - No Internet connection, as in the offer; - we had to ask for a new room - the first one was HORROR !!!
Helpful staff and the restaurants were of a high standard
Loved the food absolutely delicious and the hotel surroundings...beautiful!! the beach!
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful setting with awesome swimming pool and nearby beach. Food was excellent. The water at the nearest beach was a bit dirty from seaweed so I would recommend to coordinate some preventive action.
Food, Nearby Hotel Beach Most of Hotel Parco Torre Chia's rooms are spread out over a hillside. If you have difficulty walking uphill then you could have some serious problems as there are no lifts to those away from the main building. We were put in the top furthermost room and due to my partners angina condition we had to plan every journey, getting back from dinner could take 15 exhausting minutes.
Fantastic beach, beautiful surroundings and crystal clear water. Excellent buffet with lots of fresh seafood.
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Good location, near the beautiful Chia beaches and the entire amazing west coast within easy reach. We went in mid-June when there were 100% Italians there, mostly families with young children. We were practically the only couple there. The buffé in the restaurant was good and the waiters polite and friendly. Very tidy and quiet rooms with good air conditioning The staff knew very little English which was a bit frustrating at times. The kids club could be a bit annoying as they played loud music during the meals. Also the young staff in "The colourful team" were a bit too much sometimes. If you're not into beach-games and summer sports you will probably feel a bit intimitated by them shouting "Beach-volleeeeey" every five minutes.
The hotel has a very relaxed attittude and is extremely family friendly and evenings quiet on the entertainment front however you can walk across the road and enjoy the facilities of Le Meredien hotel. My only comment would be that during the dates we stayed 7/09/08 - 14/09/08 it was very noticeable that it was end of season! The bar had shut early, certain wines not available andgreat confusion as to where to collect beach towels!
The food was of a high standard considering it was full board. Also, if you wish to go out in the evening a car is essential.Good for families but would not really recommend this particular place for couples - Le Meridian across the road more suitable. No beach towels!
Although quite a bit older than the neighbouring resort – all part of Meridian – it’s location is fantastic. The apartments sit either side of a hill, one side is a truly beautiful beach and on the other is a Lagoon and the newer Meridian resort. The place has a rustic charm, but the facilities are somewhat showing there age – having said that, we found that we could use the new resorts four swimm
