Very nice area, with beach connection. Well equiped appartments. Nice and helpfull staff. Close to San Remo, Monaco...
Sometimes was hard to parking nearby to the appartment. Need more focus for cleanliness.
- breakfast was good and diversified - the studio had a decent size - the hotel restaurant has good food at reasonable prices - there is also another restaurant nearby where the food is also very good; this restaurant can be crowded at times.
Where do I even start?! - on Saturday and Sunday there were weddings held in the restaurant of the hotel. On Saturday the music was atrociously loud and it went on until after midnight. When I went to the reception and complained, the night clerk said I can complain all I like there is nothing he can do. He also said I should relax, as it's a vacation. When I brought up complaining to the manager and the agency to which the payment was made, somebody from the wedding party came and assured me that the music will be turned down. This did happen, but no thanks to the hotel staff. On Sunday there wasn´t any music to be heard, because a lot of the guests had apparently complained on Saturday. Cherry on top: people who had booked half-board (not us) were sent on both nights to other restaurants because of the weddings. Apparently there is a wedding every week-end, even in the high season! This hotel apparently values the wedding bussiness more than it's guests. - our studio wasn't cleaned even once, because it wasn't included in the price according to the reception. This wasn't mentioned on the site and i expect at least one cleaning during a whole week. We ended up paying 30 € extra for one cleaning. - the bathroom was a disaster: it doesn't have a window so it relies on assisted ventilation. The ventilation machine was very old, very smelly and very loud. - breakfast is good, but it is also on the pricy end as it costs 15€/person. - the beach isn't really the best: there are a lot of rocks in the water and the entrance is pretty steep. On top of it, you have to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas although you are a guest of the hotel. - the location of the hotel is also not that great: it's situated in a port with just the one beach in the area - Wireless Internet was only available in some parts of the room
We stay in the appartment for two weeks. We really enjoyed. Here there is its excellent beach, not crowded in July. The entrance to the sea is rocky, but there is a strip of sandy beach. The appartments are large, clean.
However, one must bear in mind that it takes about 1.5 km to get to the town and to the nearest store. We did not like the restaurant in the hotel, but there are two more on the territory of Marina. Pizzeria next door had the most pleasant impressions. There are very few kitchen utensils. There is no electric kettle.
The best place to spend summer:)
All staffs were charming and helpful. Good brakfast. The private beach was clean and spacious, it was nice to relax under the sun.
The mattress of sofa-bed was very flat and disconfortable (the main bed was ok, confortable). The hotel's restaurant was reserved for a group and we couldn't reserve our table, and it was not easy to find the table in the neiborhood on that day (also because it was a saturday).
With a stay at Appartamenti Aregai in Santo Stefano al Mare, you'll be on the beach, within a 15-minute drive of Casino Sanremo and Chiesa di Santo Stefano.
