The actual room was fine, just as you would expect from any non-budget hotel. On the online booking site it was described as a "boutique hotel" in an excellent location. There was nothing special about the place. I have no idea why it was described as "boutique." I booked there based on the description to give my daughter a different experience than the other hotels on our vacation, but it was very similar to the Doubletree we stayed at in Flagstaff on our drive out. I don't know what I expected, but I was certainly not impressed. The price was about double what it should have been for a similar room at a name brand hotel chain. I would NOT book a room there again. Website reviews also stated hotel was 0.7 miles from Angels Stadium. According to my car odometer and Google Map App it was closer to 1.1-1.2 miles, too far for my daughter to walk in summer heat. If you have to drive to get where you are going anyway, location is NOT an advantage as advertised.
Clean and quiet. Breakfast selection was limited and quality was not very good. Having stayed at other Ayres properties, I expected better. The free hot breakfast was a main reason for booking here.

The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us save money by booking a town car to the airport. The free breakfast was great. I liked that check out wasn't until 12pm. The hotel was located a short bus trip from Disneyland. For $5 we could by an all day bus pass. The bus drivers were always friendly and on time in most instances.

We arrived early and they accommodated us with an early check-in. The room was standard and pretty clean. The hotel staff was great and even helped us find a great sushi place to go for dinner. The housekeeping staff was great as well. For a quick trip, the overall experience exceeded my expectations for paying such a cheap price. Would definitely return.
Bed was supper comfortable Parking situation. The parking lot was full in front of the building. I had two cars and was told I wouldn't be charged for parking one. That wasn't not true. Also. When they parking lot was full. There was no one there directing anyone to the other parking structure. I had to guess and ended up across the street in what I was later told was a federal building parking lot and that I had to move my car before it was towed. The hotel said that I had to park in there structure. I asked how I was suppose to know where it was and the guy just said I'm sorry. It was right there. I was like, right where, there are no signs. Long story short. I paid for 30 min of parking at a federal building parking lot. Instead of the hotel.
The room was very spacious and for the most part, clean. The view from our room was great, we could see Angels stadium. The carpet could use a deep cleaning. My son is a crawler and we didn't realize the floor wasn't clean (to the eye, it looks pristine), it's a dark carpet and hides a lot. My son's knees and hands were black from the carpet, for the short time we allowed him to explore. The hotel is next to a hospital, so there is a lot of noise from sirens. It wasn't too bad, and easily ignored. A little disappointed wifi was not included for the amount we spent on the room.
Like everyone, I liked the warm chocolate chip cookie. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient. Most people seemed to be there for Disneyland visits and I was not but nobody got on my nerves. Parking lot was under renovation so there was no self parking. Fortunately they did not charge for in and out. Fitness center could use some more machines. A heads up when I booked the room about the parking situation would have been nice,
Complementary warm free choco chip cookies upon check in, they were soft and yummy! My son loved that! the beds are the comfiest hotel beds I have ever slept in. Was worried that the ambulances at the nearby hospital would keep us up but the beds were so wonderful that I slept like a little baby. SUPER clean lots of fun things around to do including a complimentary shuttle bus to Disney resort! Only 8 minute drive, SUPER quick! Also the night time driver Ray is a lot of fun! He did little magic tricks and told cute jokes. He also gave my son another free cookie and even a free Mickey mouse calendar! My son wrote Ray a letter telling him that he was "the best driver EVER". They overcharged me. I had two rooms for 4 nights and upon checking in to my room I looked at my bank acct and each room was charged a separate $100?? Called the front desk and had to get my bank on the phone but they took care of it. Had to go without some vacation money for a few days. Then the front desk manager accidentally charged another $100 to my card, leaving me without $300 of my vacation money for several days. Uncool. They did their best to fix their mistakes but didn't offer any compensation for me having to go without my spending money which I was upset about.
I love the shuttles that they have for Disneyland. It's probably a 10-15 minute ride over depending on traffic. All the shuttle drivers are nice and helpful. Rooms are always clean and nice staff are friendly and have cookies at the front desk if you ask. When we tried to go to Disney on Sunday they changed the bus schedule on us. We didn't know until 15 minutes after the shuttle was supposed to arrive and we asked. If you stay and go to the park keep up on shuttle schedules because they change! Paying $15 a night for your own hotel parking kinda sucks too.
They just need to service better at the bar and deploy more people during peak times
The fire pit. The cash deposit and the pay $15 to park your car. Totally was not describes prior to purchase or I would have stayed at the Embassy suites.
We love everything about visiting the Ayres Hotel. The people. The food. The rooms. Its proximity to Starbucks and shopping and close to Disney. There were ants in the bathroom

The only pros to this location are the location and the beds. I have never received such poor customer service at a 4 star hotel. My husband and I called around noon day of our reservation to confirm that we wouldn't lose our room and were reserved for a king size bed, we provided our confirmation # and were reassured that our 7pm estimated arrival wouldn't affect anything. Turns out that was a miscommunication. After being placed in a double room directly across from the elevators, we returned to the front desk to rectify the situation. The employee whom helped us was completely lacking in compassion, barely looked at us, and treated us as if our requests were a bother to her. After being told they were fully booked, we then asked that we at least be placed in a quieter area. The 2nd room was directly across from the ice machine and had a rattling AC vent. We then returned down to the front desk, because if you try to call your phone call goes unanswered, and asked to speak to a manager in order to explain our frustrations. He also was not accommodating and treated us unkindly, in fact he harshly told us that that is "what we get" for booking through a third party site. Finally after his departure, the poor employee whom received us that 3rd time, expressed her surprise that he didn't help us and chose to rectify the situation herself placing us in another king size bed room at the end of a hallway. (She had noticed the amount of times we had returned to the front desk). There is no excuse for the miscommunication and levels of customer service we received from this establishment.
the place was clean and very well taken care of. good location. nice rooms, except for (see what i didn't like) i was woken up at 9:00a.m. by some sort of knocking maybe caused by expanding joints or metal or possibly construction occuring in an adjacent rooom. i was in the quient wing so the knocking made it more irritating. it went on from 9:00a.m. for at least two hours. i had arrived early that morning like 1:00a.m. and hope to sleep to about 11:00a.m. but with the knocking that wasn't happening. i had to get up and get ready and leave to avoid the annoyance all together. there are many factors/expectation one has when staying at a hotel. with this particular stay i was hoping for a long and good night's sleep. the hotel failed in that respect. that was the most important aspect of that stay given my arrival time and need of a solid rest before a long drive home. disappointing!
The way the lobby looked was nice. My boyfriend and I came to the Hilton in Anaheim and stayed for two nights to celebrate his birthday. We have stayed at many hotels around this area because we like to go to Disneyland, and this was by far the WORST hotel I have stayed at, Mediocre looking room, lazy house keepers and horrible service. Also had to keep the a/c running at 65 degrees because if we didn't, our "non-smoking" room will begin to smell like cigarettes. Maybe it was the room next to us that smoked cigs in their room but it was very strong in ours. Upon entering the room, the tv wasn't working, had to call the front desk to send someone up to fix it, said he'd be there in 10-15 min...he shows up almost two hours later. It would've been nice to know he'd be there in 2 hours NOT 15 min. The next morning we leave our room go to breakfast at 7 am expecting that our room will be stocked with new towels and have our bed made...we come back at 4 pm and our room has NOT been replenished no one has came in to clean anything! I call the front desk and he tells me house keeping will be there in 10-15min. 20 min later nothing...I call back and tell them that I just need some towels and finally after waiting 45 min and calling twice I got my 2 towels. The showers were terrible. For starters the shower curtain kept wanting to stick to my legs and I had to place the curtain outside of the tub to prevent that, causing water to spill on the floor but at that point I was already annoyed by this curtain! Then the water took forever to warm up, and it was either SCORCHING HOT or ICE COLD for water temperature. Overall my stay was just very very disappointing. I was expecting more from a Hilton and my boyfriend wasn't happy with it either. I have never been so pissed off to the point where I'd want to write a review like this but this place is really NOT worth the amount of money you'd have to spend. (Btw they try to charge you $5 for a ride to the park when you could just walk right across the street to the Disney shuttles for free lol). I feel that I must emphasize that this place doesn't care about its guests, they just want your money. I'll come back to Anaheim and its other wonderful hotels, but I definitely won't be staying here.

We always like staying at Hilton Anaheim when we come to Disneyland. It is close enough to the shuttle parking lot that we can just walk there, saving us money we would have spent on parking. It also helps when some of us want to stay at the park longer. Those who need a break can return to the hotel to rest. The Hilton has a Starbucks and a food court. It also has a restaurant and bar. The service is great too. The room was clean and spacious. So glad there is a fridge. There was a long line at Starbucks in the morning. I guess we all wanted coffee at the same time.

Huge parking fee! Whatever rate you see, add $16 to it before you decide. There are other options in 1~2miles with better value and free parking. Moreover, Hilton has no breakfast, while others do.
The hotel was perfect... check in was fast... the beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable.. the rooms were very clean... my husband and I stayed behind while my mother and daughter went back to Disneyland and the shuttle took them and picked them up right at midnight... I am very satisfied with our stay... the hotel is only a block north of the park at a super close and great location!

I liked the free shuttle. That was great. Bathroom was small, cracked sink, it took forever to get hot water in shower. Called ahead for early check in. Rooms were not ready until after 5 which is well after suggested check in time. I'm still mad about that.
Proximity to Disneyland -room was dark, dingy and smelled like mildew -noisy. Can hear everyone outside and all times of day/night -breakfast area was so small and extremely packed with people we ended up going next door to a restaurant and paying for breakfast instead
Very nice hotel with an excellent garden. Conveniently located near Disney. We could watch the fireworks from our hotel room. Our bathroom sink and shower would not drain.
Reasonably close to Disneyland, and the linens were clean. Our "renovated room" had a bizarrely small bathroom, and the door to the garden (we were on the first floor) had such poor insulation that it sounded like the door was open.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The description and details about the facility were inaccurate. The room was run down and in need of renovation. I would never stay here again.
As we pulled up my kids said, "are we staying in a castle"? we loved how big the rooms were and how accommodating the hotel was with providing us with a crib so we didn't have I travel with our own.
The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It amazing to have a free shuttle to take you and pick you up from Disneyland and is only a couple minutes away! That breakfast was included in our stay and was kind of pricey for a family of 4.
At no point during my reservation process was there any indication parking was an additional fee. I looked on the hotel's website, my confirmation, etc. and did not find anything indicating I would be charged a parking fee in addition to my room rate. Room was extremely outdated. Bathroom was the size of a small closet. Room felt muggy regardless of the temperature. Room refrigerator did not work well. During check-in, front desk staff was extremely kind and friendly. Can't say the same during check out. The man at the desk seemed inconvenienced he had to help us. Restraunt staff told us they could not accommodate the size of our large extended family as one group for dinner (there were about 10 of us) because they didn't have room in their EMPTY restaurant, but could accommodate by seating us at separate tables. Our initial waiter was rude and wouldn't wait for all of our group to be ready before he started taking orders, so half of our group got their food and was done eating before the other half got their food. Breakfast trips to the restaurant were fine as breakfast is offered buffet style. Overall, if I ended up at this hotel again, it wouldn't be the end of the world. However, I honestly wouldn't go out of my way to stay at this hotel again. I feel there are better values for less money in some of the surrounding area hotels.
Check in was easy, the staff was initially very nice. The room looked really nice and clean. However, I woke up with multiple bites on my neck, face and arms. These were not bed bugs as only areas that were not covered were bitten. These bites are characteristic of mosquito bites. My room was right next to the pool so that might have something to do with it. I told the man at the front desk about it and he did not seem to care. He did not even apologize. He just said he would have housekeeping look. Everything looked nice, however I am now extremely itchy and uncomfortable after staying here. Wouldn't recommend

Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is good. Prime location I got 1 item dry cleaned and they lost my item. I was stressed and pissed off that they couldn't find it. After a full day of them searching everywhere they finally found it. Apparently someone didn’t do their job right. Other then this little incident it was nice. It wouldn’t hurt if they updated the fitness center. Good, but I've stayed in hotels that I paid less and the gym was more up-to-date.
Fantastic location (close to downtown Anaheim, Disneyland, Angel Stadium, The Pond, Orange, I5/I57/I55/I22...), great facilities (tasty food, very nice interior and rooms), and efficient staff. I was disappointed that the continental breakfast was not free; the food in general was a little overpriced, but very good.
Breakfast is outstanding each morning. Great staff, servicing of room and perfect location. Super Clean room. Will DEFINITELY stay again... Parking was very limited at the hotel. Seems to be a war between the adjacent college with the college having most of the parking spaces. Makes it really hard for the hotel patrons. They WILL tow you if you park in the wrong place (the staff warns you about this)

I was very impressed with the way this hotel was run. The staff was courteous, everything was clean, nothing was in shambles. The breakfast was great, and the complementary drinks in the evening was actually a great gathering place. My room was spacious. A wonderful overall experience. The only problem I had with my room was that the bedroom tv was not showing all the channels. It didn't bother me that much, seeing that I didn't mention it until I was checking out, and they sent someone to fix it as I was leaving.

For what we needed the location was excellent (walking distance to Angel Stadium) and a CVS within a mile. The staff was incredibly nice and attentive. Room service was brought timely and the food was hot. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and catered to everybody's taste buds. The indoor pool area was clean and kid friendly. The Valet staff was extremely friendly even though we didn't use valet he always gave a warm greeting, ensured our needs were met, if I could remember his name, he'd get a kudos. The architecture of the inside of the hotel was very appealing for me. I loved how you could walk out of your room, look down and see the bar/restaurant area. There were four of us, two adults two young kids 8 & 5. Between the breakfast, the evening gathering, location and indoor pool, this hotel pretty much met all of our needs. The reason why this hotel didn't get a 5-star rating from us was because of a few different things. First poor maintenance upkeep of the room. The shower door handle was broke from the outside so we had to open the shower door for the kids when they needed to shower. Paint peeling from the bathroom Doors Big patches, you can't miss it.There was one remote for two TVs. The sliding glass patio door latch took two adults to relatch. The security latch on the inside of the room door, screws were coming out of the door. It almost looks as if somebody tried to kick the door and from the bottom of the door. And the couch in the living room area was extremely uncomfortable ito was extremely narrow and the cushions gave away easily. It cost $18 per night to park there.
Complementary breakfast buffet was amazing. Walking distance to Angel Stadium and close to Disney Land. Very nice suite rooms and awesome views. It would be nice if they didn't charge for parking.

Great staff nice rooms. The engineer who replaced the air conditioner was awesome did a great job to save us on a hot weekend. The air conditioner broke had to be replaced at 10 o'clock at night. Parking is expensive.
LOCATION the rooms under the rate that you offer me, are old and dirty rooms. this situation happened to me several times. On front desk, as soon as they saw that my reservation is mad by you, they make me feel like low profile customer.
The housekeeping staff was very efficient and really tried to accommodated my needs. Having to pay for Wi-Fi (I think it was $12.95 for regular service and $14.95 for high speed). And for parking: $24.00 per nite. I'm guessing this might be the industry standard in this area, but what a shame
We were a couple wanting a king size bed, which we reserved and the hotel gave us a room eith two doubles and would not make any accomodations for the fact that they allegedly did not have any king beds. So we opted to go somewhere else.
The hotel, staff, location, facilities and basically all needs were very well addressed and made the stay wonderful. I couldn't have found a better place to stay to make the trip to Disneyland a great experience I really have no complaints about any aspect of my stay at the hotel
There were ants in my bathroom on the day I arrived and I told about that to the people at the lobby but housekeeping never came within 20 minutes, which they promised. When I left I told them what happened but they never did anything to compensate for the filthy bathroom that I got. Very disappointed.
The balcony was a cool area. The heating/cooling unit was EXTREMELY loud! The room itself was okay, but to charge guests that are staying at the hotel $25 per night for parking is pretty ridiculous and excessive. Furthermore, this hotel still charges its guests for internet acess!!?? This is the first time I have been charged for WIFI in California is the past 5 years. Get with the times, Marriot. The hotel wasn't that great to begin with.
I really like the staff there was a young lady that helped me at the desk she was amazing. I had booked thru a third party and there was some errors she corrected them and got me adjoining rooms for my kids that drive in the next day.
Great staff! Very eager to help. Great location to Disneyland. Very expensive food. Not suited for families because of the high cost of food. Nice pool. Clean lobby, pool area and dinning areas. Cost $41 to park your car in self parking! This for 1 day & a half of parking! Absurd! $17 for a hamburger that wasn't all that great! All the food was way over priced. Got a New York steak that was soo charred on the outside and way over priced...$55 with NO side dishes, no salad. Rooms smelled terrible! We changed rooms 3 times. The 3 rd room was better, but not by much. Their $150 delux room is a very small box of a room. Very cramped! No bathroom fans either. So when you take a shower, the bathroom fills with moisture to the pint that it's dripping off the walls! And then the moisture fills the main room when you open the bathroom door. No wonder the rooms smell badly!
Extremely close to Anaheim convention center where I was attending a trade show. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Comfortable lobby bar for relaxation after a day on the trade show floor. Good restaurant and food. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any business traveler.

I'm a Pastor and I asked for a 1pm checkout due to a wedding ceremony I was performing in Huntington Beach at 4pm. Initially I was told no problem. I called on Saturday morning to confirm and my request was denied. Staff did not apologize, offer any solutions and I was very disappointed.
I didn't like much. My experience was horrible here. We were lied to by the staff. Due to their lies, we ended up stranded at the event we were attending. We booked this hotel specifically for the free shuttle, and even made sure of times and venue location that it would all work out. Well, it didn't and the customer service desk did NOTHING to resolve. What an awful experience! I will never stay there again!
Everything about the hotel was really really good. It is such a good value for the money. The beds were very comfortable the room was very clean and the staff was very friendly wouldn't hesitate to stay there again anytime.
The room was very large and very comfortable. The facilities were very clean and aesthetically pleasing, although I was unable to spend much time there due to a business conference I was attending. I read good things about the restaurant, however, was unable to check it out for the same reasons. I was given the opportunity to check-in before noon and to request additional towels, both of which I selected. However, upon arrival I was told that I was unable to check-in early AND that, even if possible, it would cost an additional $40. Furthermore, I did not receive additional towels. So, my question became, why even offer these things if you're not going to provide them upon request.

Easy access via shuttle which is convenient. The shuttle/parking should be free for guests... I wouls have given an extra star for the extra value.
The staff was AMAZING there! we loved out stay. The hotel is a bit dated but it was a great value for the deal we got.
I have had a big problem staying there due to the feather pillows. The air system is very dusty with a poor filter. The pillows are full of dust. I had a bad allergic reaction to the dust. The service was very good.

Everything was very good overall and with a few minor issues (mostly personal things) they did a very good job with everything. Room was clean, as well as the bathroom. View was super nice and clear from the 16th floor, south tower. Staff in hotel was courteous and fast. Soap in bathroom was used. TV was pure static. No complimentary breakfast. Valet was sort of rude.

The hotel lobby was beautiful and the employees were very nice. We had 3 different groups of family coming in and the person who checked us in gave us top notch service and was able to let us check-into our rooms early. He even let us have free shuttle tickets for everyone for Disneyland. I definitely will be back. With a group of 12 of us it was much easier to have the breakfast buffet at the restaurant in the lobby. it turned out great!
The hotel has an amazing staff. The two restaurants are very good and offer really good food unlike most hotel restaurants. We had the one bedroom suite and it was very clean. The hotel has its own shuttle bus going to and from Disney check out is at 1200 am. I paid $170 per night and it was far better than the Fairfield inn by Marriott which is located right across the main entrance to Disney Land. There is a Starbucks inside the hotel!! The prices in the little store of the hotel are somewhat ridiculous but it is a great hotel. Parking is rediculous with $27 per night. One Bus is not enough during peak hours to get guests to park.
Staff was very courteous and friendly. Excellent customer service. The location was great. Loved taking the shuttle to Disneyland from the hotel. Hotel is well kept. Loved the lobby - spacious. The Starbucks, gift shop and deli. Even thought we felt self parking was expenses we appreciated that the parking was adjacent to the hotel. Overall we had a wonderful time at the Hyatt Regency Orange County and we look forward to staying there again. The mattress' were not comfortable. The pillows looked worn, pretty flat. Housekeeping didn't leave us enough towels on two days. We got confused when we drove up to the hotel and staff (not sure if they were all Valet staff) came to our car and immediately asked us if self park or valet. and began to pull our bags out of the card. We had no idea what we were going to do without checking in first. That was a bit overwhelming. We felt self parking was too expenses.
Room was cute, spacious, grounds are beautiful and location is prime. Shower pressure and temperature were fantastic. Room needs updating. While cute, every panel of the wallpaper is peeling off the walls. There was a makeshift cover for the fuse box that was falling off the walls with exposed screws. Windows opened to exterior building walls. There was only 1 nightstand by the bed, no conditioner, shower cap, or tea by the coffee pot. General condition of the furnishings were old and need to be replaced. They overcharged me for parking, normally $20/car/night, and couldn't figure out what the problem was after they had already charged my card on file. Parking is a nightmare and is small and cramped.
My experience was unfortunately a very disappointing one. We checked into the hotel and upon walking into our room, discovered our remote control did not work. This was not a problem and I looked past this. The next morning I woke up to a foul smelling bathroom, the shower was filling up with septic water and spilling into our room. I spoke with maintenance and they said they would talk to the font desk about giving us a discount, especially after we paid a significant amount more for our second day there. When checking out, I was told by the front desk to wait to speak to a manager. I then proceeded to wait 15 minutes for said manager and finally lost my patience. I returned to the person at the front desk and they told me "Oh, you were waiting on a manager?", and then said I would have to wait for them longer because they were "helping another guest, OR busy with something else." I simply said thank you and walked away. I have never had such a negative experience at a hotel and would hope that they read this and improve their hospitality. It is such a disappointment for having such a great location and beautiful grounds.
Proximity to work location Filthy room, mold, mildew and rot on most wood in room. Window facing major road in shower, thin walls, broken remote, old loud air conditioner, small black bugs under plastic cover on bed, overall unsanitary conditions and loud neighbors.

Everything was great Clean rooms, great staff, price was just right, even the food was good ........ unfortunately there was a couple smoking pot at the stairs and the smell went inside our room I don't care if they smoke but I think they shouldn't done were there's young children around....
Friendly staff, walking distance to Disneyland Room quality and cleanliness subpar, basic amenities (rollaway bed, pack and play, wifi beyond limited speed on one day) all required an additional charge. The appeal of the price, location, and attractive online photos quickly dissipated once arriving to our actual room. Better off paying a little more for a premium hotel in the area which ends up being around the same, since they won't nickel and dime you the entire stay.
Location was good. It was very close to the Disneyland shuttle. The restaurant was good, and the restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. I dropped money, I.d., and credit cards, and Jeffery found it for me. Thanks Jeffery!! The walls and ceiling were thin, and we got very little sleep. The staff was hit or miss with helpfulness and friendliness. It didn't strike me as that clean. I wouldn't stay there again.
Location was spot on for Disneyland. I like it even better than the hotels on Harbor for this. Staff was friendly and room and facility were clean. They had a party in the restaurant but we were really pleased it wrapped up before 10 Room was really stale smelling and everything we have smells like that. Bed was really saggy and uncomfortable. broken stuff in the bathroom, Generally needs an update. We were also looking forward to a jacuzzi soak after our run but there wasn't one.
Can't beat the location, an easy walk to Downtown Disney/Grand California. Well appointed, comfortable rooms. Nice staff and facilities.
My kids of course loved the pool It did say it was across the street from Disneyland but it was behind the park and was way to far of a walk for my grandfather just to get to entrance.

Pool Bed was uncomfortable. The hook behind the door was broken, the water sprinkler in the room look broken. Very basic hotel. WiFi didn't work. Then I was almost charged for it after I had been talking to staff about not being able to get it to work. Cable wasn't great. There is a store that sells food. We ordered a bagel and it was hard.
Location to Disneyland. The A/C did not work in the room, as soon as we walked in the hotel room there was a strong weird smell. We had to leave the sliding door open to vent out the smell. Not to mention the ants roaming freely in the room. I also noticed a flaw in security, as in I cannot recall seeing any on the premises. One is able to walk through the hotel like nothing, I did not feel safe at this hotel.
We had a great stay! We had the same maid each morning that greated us in the hallways. Construction was going on next door but never heard anything because it was on the side with a view and that was the opposite side than us. Starbucks in the lobby! The only bad thing was the outlets in the room were spotty. You had to wiggle it just right to get to work and one morning I woke and my phone was dead, so missed an hour at the park because of it. We also had a ding in my new car's fender the first night there, inconsiderate driver. Might be worth valet parking. But not hotels fault. Just wish I knew who did it. Other than that everything was very nice!
Very convenient to Disneyland. Clean, comfortable hotel, felt safe there. The cooling/heating system can only do either air conditioning or heating. I was cold and had to get a space heater to heat the room.

Close to Disneyland The in house restaurant has aweful service. I went when there were less than 10 customers and never had water or even saw our waiter. Other tables were requesting their waiter. Not a good experience. I wont stay here again.
I stayed a long weekend here with my friend and the lovely people at hotel Irvine really made us feel like welcome guests! From the complimentary bikes, to the Friday night movie on the lawn, to the friendly and delightful staff, every minute here was relaxing and stress-free. My friend has severe food allergies which the staff graciously and professionally worked arround for her. It really meant a lot to be able to enjoy my mini-vacation knowing that everything we needed was being taken care of. Thank you so much!
The hotel is centrally located and six minutes from the airport, making it a great choice if you've an early morning departure or late night arrival. Our room was very quiet. The Marketplace was great for snacks and provided a good selection of tasty foods. The staff was friendly and the bed comfortable. The parking fee of $22-24 per night seems excessive for a suburb like Irvine which is pretty much made of concrete, shopping malls and parking lots. The sink drain didn't work properly, one of my pet peeves in a hotel in any price category and unexpected in this type of hotel.
Impressive, grand entry, airily quick check-in, comfortable beds, clean shower Music at the bar was so loud you couldn't hold a conversation. In addition the check-in attendant never told me details, such check-out time or that a continental breakfast was included ( I had to ask the next morning). They seemed rushed and ready for the next customer. Another issue was non-smoking on a designated non-smoking floor. I smelled smoke as I slept and saw butts on the carpet in the hallway. Lastly, breakfast was limited to toast, cold cereal, yogurt, and hard-boiled eggs.
I had a problem with another room being extremely loud and disruptive,, the front desk and security took care of the situation, quickly. Also, the GM comped my valet charges...still not what I expected from a hotel like this.
The grounds, the staff was friendly and helpful, bed was comfy, pool area and 24 hour marketplace were very nice. Paying for parking, odd odor on the different floors, no cold water, half-closed shower door.

I liked the pool, room size, little market downstairs with reasonable prices, location to where I was going and the feel of the hotel. There is a mini refrigerator that you can fill up. I like the concept, instead of an overpriced minibar. The front desk was confused as to when breakfast ended. (We were told 8am which is ridiculous, but it was actually 9:30.) we missed a few days due to thinking we missed it. The carpet and little features could be updated, but for the most part it was clean. We would stay again.
We loved our room with a view. Even though the hotel was busy with dance competition and softball teams, our room was quiet and service was great. We will definitely be back soon!

Breakfast buffet was very beneficial for my family. With four young children it's one of the reasons my wife and I prefer your hotel over others. I wasn't aware that if I used handicapped parking during my entire stay, that I would still get charged a $10 daily fee. That seems very odd considering that any vehicle with a valid handicap placard, can't be towed anyway. You may also want to reconsider the setup of rooms for those who are staying with small children. The Portofinos selling point for me was the bunk beds for the kids and the sliding doors that separate the kids room from the parents room. Please consider adding at least three 2.1 amp USB ports to your rooms. A digitally connected family like mine would greatly benefit if there are various charging points for our phones and tablets.
Breakfast was fantastic. Pay for parking? I already apid for the room, now I need to pay for my one and only car to use your parking lot? It should be for guests and should be included in my room price. Separate sitting room in this "suite" is a joke. Its a table in the same room as the beds. That is NOT separate.

I ENJOYED MY STAY AT AYRES. THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL, AND I FELT COMFORTABLE THERE. GREAT KITCHENETTE AND LOTS OF SPACE AND WORK FEEL. I WASN'T A FAN OF EXTRA PARKING COSTS NOR THE LONG HALLWAYS, WHICH EVENTUALLY I LEARNED THAT IT WAS QUICKER TO GO IN AND OUT THROUGH THE STAIRS OF ONE SIDE OF THE BUILDING.
Drove up from San Diego for a hockey game at Honda Center and stayed here for the night. Couldn't ask for better location. On top of that staff is friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable! Oh and happy hour 5:30-6:30 includes free drinks and appetizers! Awesome!

Traveled as a multi-generational family group. We greatly appreciated how soundproof this hotel is. Plenty of water pressure at the right temperature too. And enough elevators for minimal wait time. We could have used electrical outlets for cell phones at the bedside but this is a minor improvement suggestion.
Love the themes and decor, and the perks that come with staying at a Disneyland resort hotel. The headboard that lights up and plays music (and serves as a great nightlight) is lovely. We had a room in the Adventure Tower facing Downtown Disney this time, and while we didn't care about the view (in this case, plants from the Adventure garden blocked pretty much anything we could see from the 2nd floor), what we didn't like was how loud the music was from Downtown Disney. We also learned that although we could only see a tiny amount of fireworks from Disneyland, we could hear all of them and they were pretty much as loud as they are when you're in the park. I'm still shocked that my kids slept through the music and fireworks that first night. On our third night, the older one was still awake when they started and used earplugs to get to sleep. The live music didn't stop until 10 pm even on weeknights, which meant we didn't get to enjoy the peace and quiet of the room (after being in the parks all day) until then. If you're not bothered by noise, it won't be a problem, but if you are, consider requesting a pool-view room.
Our stay was for our 30th wedding anniversary, and the hotel staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, & special. Although the prices seem a little high for most people, our stay was very enjoyable. We will be returning in the future. The only negatives to our trip were the Disneyland Railroad, Haunted Mansion, and River Boats were closed. Also, I was looking for a Disneyland Railroad Engineer hat, but was only able to find a Conductor's hat.. Lastly, there were no hats for the Disneyland Monorail.
Our room was great, and so was every cast member. I couldnt buy the throw pillow which was on each bed.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, check in and out was super easy. Stuff was super friendly. Love the free breakfast, it really helps you save money if you have a full breakfast you can last until a early dinner. Only a few min walk to park... Carpet was a little outdated.

Walking distance to enter the park via the Grand Californian Hotel and Downtown Disney. Good, basic hotel room to stay in close to the parks. Checked in at 11pm, walked all the way to the room with a tired wife and tired 4 year old. Room key did not work. Walked all the way back and the staff did not apologize at all. Just made a new key and said "you should be good." Small but infuriating detail. Breakfast time is a zoo.
We stayed at this hotel while in town for Disneyland's Half Marathon Weekend. Overall, great value for the money, clean, and proximity to Disney Parks was especially convenient. The A/C unit is a bit loud, which makes it hard to sleep or hear your tv.
Crazy close to Disneyland, the staff was really nice and breakfast was fantastic. Had to pay 10$ a night for parking extra which was a surprise.
The location was fantastic as it's across the street to Disneyland California Adventure. The rooms have been maintained well or have been remodeled recently and include a decent sized mini-fridge. Free continental breakfast was nice to have. Parking was easy. Hot tea b and pool were nice and had a great view of nightly Disney fireworks. Overall it was a good value. The beds were substandard. They were like sleeping on a trampoline. The pillows were so thick and dense they were uncomfortable. But the comforters were thin, not much thicker than sheets. The hotel was very busy, and so the breakfast was a disaster to access and they were out of half of the items early. The elevator was out of order so I had to carry my heavy bags to the third floor. You can hear people walk past your room or talking outside the room.

We arrived EARLY and they accommodated our early check in thanks to an empty room. The room itself was clean me organized. The sheets were fresh, the mattresses soft and supportive, but the bathroom was tiny and the rugs a little worn. We enjoyed the free breakfast, though the selection is rather limited. The staff was friendly and attentive, had answers for all my questions. Even the people staying alongside us were pleasant and non-disruptive. Having stayed in the other best western's around, this by far was the best experience. I honestly have no negative reviews.

Nice area to behind the hotel to walk. Larger room size Service was somewhat lacking. I stayed 3 nights. My room was never serviced by the cleaning crew after I checked in. Mattress was very firm and not very comfortable. Hotel nickel and dimes for everything. Self parking was $22 a night. Hotel Concierge wanted to charge me an additional $20 a night when I (a solo traveller) requested a king bed upon arrival instead of two queens, even though the hotel was half empty and the published rates of the king rooms were $35 less a night than the nightly rate I had paid for my stay.

I stayed at the Paradise Pier Hotel several times. I love how roomy it is and very relaxing! I like the view from the rooms...one side you can watch World of Color with the television playing the sounds for the show! We stay with a family of four, there is a sofa that turns into a bed. The toiletries are very nice!!! If you stay at a Disney property, you can use the special entrance from the Grand Californian. The Surfside Lounge is a bar/ snack shop you can warm up food (there is a microwave!) and pick up utensils (fork, knife, spoon or condiments). I personally like the vending machines on the ground floor..it is in a room by itself! PCH Grill is great during breakfast and looks fun at dinner time too! I whole hearted recommend staying here with everybody!! Upper level soda machines take only credit cards. Wish there was more food eateries.
