Pros: The historical significance and how quiet it was despite its location
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excellent, accommodations were excellent. I will definitely return on my next visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable place to stay in. Wouldn’t recommend it if you’re younger and loud it is a calmer and quiet place but it’s in a good location in downtown mobile if you’re looking to explore the historical parts. Everything’s in good driving or walking distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome historic B&B! I love history and this inn along with the immediate surrounding buildings take you back in time. It's like a little slice of history that the city forgot. Breakfast was great and the chef was very nice and knowledgeable. He also can accommodate almost any special dietary need.
Cons: I couldn't stay longer!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: GREAT
Cons: THE ENTIRE PROJECT IS A WONDERFUL WORK IN PROGRESS. WHEN ALL OF THE BUILDINGS ARE COMPLETED THIS WILL BE A SPECTACULAR VIEW OF THE 19 TH CENTURY MOBILE IN ITS OWN LITTLE COMMUNITY. THE OWNERS WILL HAVE CREATED MAGNIFICENT WORK OF HISTORY AND AT GREAT EXPENSE. THEY SHOULD BE COMPLEMENTED FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING WORK.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely wonderful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extra comfy!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a historic property in an area that has been neglected but is being renovated now. The inn has three houses updated and in use. Great location despite being surrounded by interstate. Easy walk to the french quarter, right next to Fort Conde. The property is very nicely done, clean, and the breakfast was delicious. Would stay again if ever back in Mobile.
Cons: No complaints.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: beautiful historic property, very beautifully restored. It was very quiet and the breakfast was very good without being ridiculously rich, with several choices and a chef willing to accommodate my gluten-free diet restriction. There was a lovely courtyard, and daily wine aperitif available for a small and reasonable fee.
Cons: We stayed in two different rooms and unfortunately we found both mattresses to be extremely soft and unsupportive. If you have a tricky back you might find that their choice in mattresses is a bit uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fort Conde Inn is one of the cutest place I have ever stayed. The rooms are very romantic and it was a pefect choice for our honeymoon. With a very short walk you are right in the heart of Mobile. Also we would like to thank you for making a special vegan and vegetarian breakfast for us. It was very delicious. The stuff were also very friendly and helpful. I would defenitely recommend this place for everybody! Thank you very much for taking good care of us!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was outstanding.

Pros: The house was built in 1850 , still is in good shape. Some parts, like floors in the rooms are still original. If you want to experience the Southern living style, this is your choice.
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved Berney Fly! Stephen the inn keeper was fabulous. He gave us a tour of the home as well as ideas of what to do ok our unexpected delay in Monile. The rooms and bathroom and other amenities were very clean and comfortable. The best part was how fabulous the breakfast was!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house itself is wonderful, the rooms, the furniture, the details, the mood, the view, and the location are impeccable and simply in tone/style with the rest of the neighborhood. The courtyard is a lush tidal jungle full of greenery and flowers, with a beautiful pool where you can have a cool bath in the middle of the historic district. To my surprise, I discovered the owner who was preparing breakfast for us on the scratch, cooking with delicious omelet and grits on the first morning and phenomenal roast potatoes and roasted eggs on the second. I felt guilty later because he asked me when I normally wake up because and I replied at 7. Later i discovered he cooked grits in an original way. (take 1 hour to be ready). He gave me a lot of suggestions for the visit and he is a great partner in every discussion topic, he 's cultured, kind and definitely a great host!
Cons: nothing, there is nothing to say.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent host. Excellent breakfast. Quiet room. Nice front por6. Beautiful neighborhood.
Cons: Bed was rather uncomfortable. Historical building in much need of restorations. Furniture may have been historical but not comfortable. Cramped parking.

Cons: The room is old. No problem but the bathroom is outdated and the shower rickety
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, well-appointed Victorian living with spacious pools, garden, and shaded decks. Breakfast was so good! Stephen, one proprietor, was a joy to converse with....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely home. Quiet street. Nice pool and garden in the backyard. Steven provided helpful information on what to see and do and where to eat.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Only one thing. I hate shower gel and want real soap. But in the shower there was no soap dish, so I guess that was the reason.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quaint and beautiful! Steven was attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating! The pool was awesome. The room and ensuite were large and inviting. We felt at home. We will rebook next time we are in Mobile.
Cons: Nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was totally awesome!
Cons: At check out desk. New person being trained in cafe area. African American clerk said something to the other clerk behind counter to the effect" she does not even know what she's doing" which I thought was unkind. We all start in a new position at some point
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the cleanliness and location of the hotel, and friendly staff. Breakfast options were great, and the pool was kept clean. we look forward to booking at this hotel for our next trip!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, wonderful staff, pool was awesome, walking distance to restaurants and mall!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything but the daily pet fee.
Cons: That y'all charge $50 a day for pets. I could understand if you charge one price for a pet. We had a Chihuahua. The price was ridiculous for pets. Everything else I was satisfied with. But being that we travel with our pet we won't be visiting again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good. The staff were great. They were friendly and accommodating. The location wasnt far from anything we wanted to do.
Cons: Pool was closed for about half of the time we were there for maintenance.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent
Cons: All was good
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Modern, spacious and very clean. Beds were very comfortable.
Cons: Shower had low water pressure and breakfast was subpar for this type of hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved this place. Was very clean. The rooms were spacious. The breakfast was excellent
4.5 Okay
Pros: The location was great! Right by Costco and tons of shopping.
Cons: The room was filthy. Bag of chips under pull out couch, handprints all over mirror, blood stain on pull out couch protective sheet. Kitchen utensils and stuff was dirty. I just wanted to get out of there. Breakfast was super basic. Only thing worth eating is the waffles.
6.8 Good
Pros: The bed and set up for families was great!
Cons: I traveled with two children and promised them the pool. Upon arrival the pool was closed for maintenance. The front desk said it would reopen by the afternoon, but it did not. Friday, the pool was still closed for maintenance and did not open until late afternoon. This was very disappointing. I feel the staff should have provided more information on why the pool was closed and opened it sooner. I saw maintenance putting in chemicals. The hotel should do this in the early am, so guest can use the pool.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed the variety each day especially the seasonal fresh fruit.
Cons: I wish I could have stayed longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was up to par
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sausage wasn’t that great. Pretty much all of it was subpar—the buffet. And for the price for the room a night it should be an AMAZING breakfast. Beautiful, confortable place to eat, however.
Cons: The Breakfast. Everything else went above and beyond expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to event; breakfast buffet, comfortable and clean room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Love love love the location, so close to everything and our view was amazing over the water watching ships come a go was wonderful for our kids! Beautiful hotel definitely the best Hampton I've ever stayed in, felt expensive!
Cons: Our room didn't have the best cleaning, the couch cushions where up and there was hair in the shower, but it was still fine!
6.0 Good
Pros: Extremely clean! Check in staff was excellent.
Cons: The air conditioner sounded like a freight train. I honestly have never heard any air conditioner that loud in my life. It was impossible to sleep through on a night where we definitely needed air.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The desk staff were extra nice and we loved the view from our room. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice.
Cons: Parking was expensive!
7.5 Good
Pros: Really close to the cruise port.
Cons: Didn't have parking and had to pay for that. Was not made aware of this before travel. It was only 9 dollars a day so not a big deal.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room layout was perfect for our needs. We did't really do much in Mobile other than use it as a jump off point for other things in the area. Friendly staff. They had some fire alarm issues that affected two nights of our stay. I like that one of the managers contacted me a couple of days later just to make sure that I was satisfied with how everything was handled.
Cons: Mgmt successfully resolved this issue with us: They had a firealarm malfunction that woke us up on two of our nights there. The first night was at ~5:30am. If it were just me I'd have brushed it off. However, my 1.5yr didn't take it so well. That threw a wrench in his eating/napping/etc schedule for that first day since his day started 2-3 hours earlier than normal. Management did however discount my rate for the firealarm issues and I was happy with how the situation was handled. I would still come back here again if I ever found myself in mobile. The hotel is very nice, clean, and *very* well priced when trying to find accommodations that can fit 2 adults, and 3 children (one being a toddler).

Pros: View was nice!! Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Had a jazz saxophone in the bar area was okay.
Cons: The beds were not very comfortable. Breakfast was a joke!! Cost $45 dollars for just the wife and I, for a buffet I could have gotten at the local motel 6 for free!! The pool was small and I wouldn't dare step in the hot tub!!

Pros: Location, location, location. Very upscale furnishings everywhere from the room to the lobbies. The Harbor restaurant was amazing at both breakfast and dinner. Outstanding choices from southern style eggs Benedict to seafood gumbo.
Cons: They have a bum problem. Which is to be expected in any urban area in the streets. But they should have a way of keeping them from coming into and bothering guests in the hotel lobby. In the guest rooms there needs to be microwaves and fans in the bath
6.8 Good
Pros: We received great customer service.
Cons: There was an accident made in the bed. When housekeeping came in he/she didn’t acknowledge the accident, that was noticeable, and change the sheets instead he/she just completely ignored it and made the bed back up using the same lines.

Cons: I booked a king but got a queen bed. My husband nor I slept well. The bed wasn’t comfortable- when one moved, the other was disturbed.

Cons: A little to old fashion in the rooms... in need of some modern updates... and much need of more computer tablet.. and phone charging stations thru out the rooms... Stayed in more updated hotels for this price and less. Co-workers stayed at Hilton garden Inn not elaborate lobby and restaurants but much more modern equipped rooms.
6.3 Good
Pros: Bed was great
Cons: Room decor was nothing special for the cost and there was no view at all.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The rooms were clean, and checking in and out was easy
Cons: The forced valet parking was unforeseen. I don't want to pay $21 for the privilege of staying at this hotel, I'd rather park it myself. Loud neighbors, shouting and partying til 2am. I understand the hotel staff can't anticipate this, but they had nothing to say about it when I brought my concern to their attention. Wifi connection was poor - couldn't stream my video service as planned. Rooftop bar was closed - disappointing, as I was looking forward to enjoying a drink by the pool. Poor signage, hard to find where you want to go. Front desk called our room phone, waking us up at midnight only to say they had dialed our room by accident. All in all, they call themselves a luxury hotel and I was very underwhelmed. I could have gotten the same experience at a chain hotel half the price. Just plain uninpressed.

Pros: Wow this place was amazing!!! I will never stay anywhere else in downtown Mobile!!
Cons: Leaving!!!

Pros: Nice location!! Awesome breakfast!! Would stay again!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and very clean
Cons: Breakfast was good but need at least two waffle makers. Waffles were probably the main breakfast item and everyone was having to wait to make them. When a mother with children needs to make more than 2 it can take a while.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The lobby with tables and spaces to meet up with family, talk, play cards. We also liked the pool and being able to cool off in the Alabama heat!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and quiet
Cons: there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room
7.0 Good
Cons: I informed the staff member upon check out that the pillows smelled like smoke so the previous person was probably a smoker so they should probably discard of them. He really didn't care.
6.3 Good
Pros: very good
10.0 Excellent
Cons: I liked everything about the hotel and my stay
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was awesome and very polite. This place is upper clean and organized.
Cons: The breakfast could of been better.. didn’t like that there was only eggs, biscuits, gravy and sausage.. maybe they can also provide bacon and potatoes.
6.8 Good
Pros: The staff were nice and the pool was great.
Cons: The deadbolt on the door was jammed and would automatically lock behind us when in the room which then caused us to not be able to get out right away. It took a ton of finagling to finally get the door unlocked each time we wanted out of the room. With two small children I was terrified of something happening and us needing to get out quickly and not being able to because of being locked in. I reported it right away and wasn't offered any thing. No offer to switch rooms, no offer to come fix it right away, no offer to take some cost off of the room, nothing at all. They just said they would write it down for the manager to see the next day. The other thing is that when I called and made the reservation, I asked specifically if we could pay cash. We live locally but our AC was out causing us to need a room for the night because of again having small children. I was told that I could pay cash when I checked in. I got there and was told that I couldn't pay cash by the front desk agent. I asked to speak to the manager who reluctantly allowed me to pay cash but not before making sure I knew that they don't ever accept cash and that she was just making an exception for me. Just seems like a miscommunication between reservations and the hotel staff, but it needs to be fixed so no one else has this same issue and then is without a room. I also didn't like that I couldn't turn the air down lower then 68. When in south Alabama like we are and where the hotel is and it being 90+ degrees outside, the need to be able to turn the thermostat down lower is essential, especially for hot natured people like my family and I. I've never been to a hotel that didn't let you turn your temp down as low as you needed, and I travel a ton.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds lots of beautiful, mature trees to provide a shady parking spot. The lobby was in excellent condition and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The strong AC was great relief for the steamy heat.
Cons: While most everything was excellent two things could have been better. The bedspread was pretty threadbare. The shower, while of great size and excellent water pressure had an older tile floor and sides that felt like they needed a really good cleaning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: First off, the staff here is amazing. They were so patient with us when my 4yo pulled the fire alarm! I felt terrible but they never showed they were mad at us or anything. Nothing but nice. The maintenance staff helped me clean my car when I ended up having 100s of ants in there out of nowhere. So helpful all around offering water in the 100 degree water, letting me use a shop vac and more. The service here is absolutely outstanding. Other things I love, the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is different everyday, blueberry waffle batter anyone? So many options and nice and hot. I love the pool area. It’s well kept and at night the lights change colors inside the pool. I have been here for almost two weeks and am just thoroughly happy. I would def recommend this hotel anytime. I love it here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds, clean & pleasant roi , excellent, helpful & accommodating staff, breakfast was the "bomb"
Cons: Nothing!

5.0 Okay
Pros: The breakfasts were good. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: They never cleaned our room, had 2 call the front desk. It was after 4pm. About an hour later someone came to do it with the excuse they were busy & hadn't got to it yet. She slammed stuff around making alot of noise, made me very uncomfortable and scared my baby kitten. I told her never mind, just empty the garbage and leave some towels, not to clean. The pool wasn't as clean as it could be, the tile had black grime and some of the loungers were nasty. In the breakfast area the chairs at the bar were dirty. There were doors slamming half the night. I felt ripped off for how much it cost, never going back.

Pros: The hotel was convenient for a quick night stay on the way to the gulf for a family vacation. We arrived late and the staff was great about getting us checked in and helping us find a place to eat. Everything was clean and ready for use.
Cons: I booked a King Deluxe room. I am not sure what made the room a deluxe as there was only a bed, desk, dresser and bathroom. We decided not to say anything as the front desk told us they were booked up. We made it work but we’re still a little confused as to what “King Deluxe” defines. There was not nearly enough parking. Several others in the hotel were using 2–4 parking spots with trailers. We parked on the neighboring hotel’s lot.

Pros: The Historic aspect was what I was seeking for our two Grandsons. The most hospitable staff helped to deliver that experience. Barbara the receptionist met us upon arrival with a great big smile and introduced us to the photos of past guest. Frank gave my Grandsons a guided tour that they will never forget. The personalized service was off the charts! Thanks for a most memorable stay!
Cons: Nothing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: location for downtown area was great.
Cons: the lady at the front desk was very nice. However she gave me a key to a room that was already occupied. I'm so glad when i walked in the room no one was there! Then she said that there was a mix up and couldn't find a key for the room i was supposed to be in. It took about 30 minutes to check in because she had to go unlock other rooms to inspect to make sure they were not occupied. Other than this, it was a pleasant experience. For the rate charged i would definitely would stay here again
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good. Loved the ambience of the hotel and the location. Parking was so easy. The staff (aka Mrs. Barbara) was wonderful!
Cons: This really comes more under suggestions than didn't like. These were little observations, not huge dislikes. Room could have used a couple of USB ports or charging stations, and there was no shampoo caddy in the shower. For me the only dislike would have been there was no bathroom door.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a beautiful older hotel that began as two townhomes built in 1862. It became a hotel 100 years later, but kept the older charm of the townhomes. Be sure to stay in the historic part. You’ll have a beautiful room in one of the original townhomes with a wonderful balcony. Breakfast is included with your stay, and they even have bicycles you can rent. The courtyard is just beautiful and so relaxing. The sound of the fountain could put you to sleep. Andreha at the front desk is so sweet and helpful! Ask for her when you call.
Cons: There absolutely nothing that I didn’t like about this place!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Miss Barbara was one of the nicest hotel receptionists I’ve ever met! My entire stay was very relaxing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Customer service was exceptional! The location was convenient being in a downtown area with bars in walking distance. The breakfast was nice and tasty and the breakfast area was clean.
Cons: The room was a bit small with no refrigerator or microwave. I didn’t like the fact that I had one window.... my view was nice and romantic. I would stay there again but in a better room. One that’s more historic...

Cons: The room was muggy with a wet damp feel and smell. The door to the room looked as if someone had attempted to use a knife to get into the room previously. The vent in the bathroom did not work. This was the 1st time I've stayed at a Holiday inn and was not satisfied.

Pros: Location
Cons: This is the second time I’ve stayed here and BOTH TIMES there were reservation issues both with mine and other guests who had made reservations. I was booked for a king suite w/ jacuzzi. When I checked in they did not bother to tell me that there were none available, (even though I had confirmation). They were going to charge me for the suite if I had not returned to the desk to complain. Not a fan. This was my last time staying at Holiday Inn Express, Saraland.
