Pros. Relatively inexpensive.
Cons. Both evening staff during check in and morning staff during check out seemed disengaged and bothered by my presence. They both did their jobs I suppose but it could have easily been done by a kiosk. Breakfast did not appear appetizing. I grabbed coffee and bailed.
Pros. Complimentary breakfast was appreciated, rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff was pleasant and accommodating.

Pros. The staff is fantastic. The location, the room, and the bed were comfortable.
Cons. The toilet main water valve had been shut off because it kept making noise. Instead of fixing it, they just closed it. When I got up in the middle of the night I had to fight a roach. Not happy about that.

Pros. Well kept, old building with traditional flourishes. Upgraded room was quite appealing, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Overall the stay was pleasant.
Cons. Room service failed us significantly (one day they removed towels and did not replace, and no replacement on toiletries during service) however the front desk staff was very pleasant and resolved all of our issues quickly. There wasn't much in the way of power outlets near the end tables, which was only a minor inconvenience, and there was no microwave in our room, though we had a fridge.
Cons. Everything was fine until they charged my credit card $250 plus the room cost. When I called, I was told to call back later. When I did I was told that there was smoking in the room so they charged me $250. When I explained that there was not smoking, I was told over and over, there was smoking in the room. When I then asked whom else to talk with. I was given the general managers name and told that he would call me the following day. He did not. When I called back again I was told that there was smoking in the room, so they would not refund my money and the general manager did not call me back because he wouldn't do anything for me. I again requested that he call me and am still waiting. Horrible customer service and there was no smoking!
