At our arrival we were served a freshly-made iced tea, while we were registering. Plus, at our surprise, we were upgraded to the Montgomery Suite, which offers unique service (a bar is in the room at our disposal), great space with a beautiful living room.
Nothing, every detail has been studied!
Great location, quiet yet close to great restaurants and food centre. Nice boutique decor converted from shop houses.
They forgot to clean our room, had to call them to clean the room. Gym is not adequate, pool was being fixed.
Six Senses Duxton is located in Tanjong Pagar, the city’s Chinatown. The exterior is ornately decorated with Asian influences that have been washed in luxury. Six Senses Duxton is a boutique hotel that was restored by Anouska Hempel, a renowned British designer. When stepping into the venue, guests will be treated to everything from intricately designed lighting and silky pillows to lush greenery and modern amenities. It is located 13.4 miles away from the Changi Airport Singapore and near the Tanjong Pagar MRT.
When staying at Six Senses Duxton, guests can book the Shophouse Room, Opium Room, or one of four specialty suites. The Shophouse Room is modern and sleek while the Opium Room is opulent and bold. Room amenities include everything from a minibar and Naturalmat organic mattress to individually controlled air conditioning and hairdryer. The specialty suites are all decorated differently and hard to choose from, as all of them are covet-worthy. The Skylight Lounge is done up in black lacquer while the Montgomerie Suite has a bar in the living room.
There is much to do in the local area when staying at Six Senses Duxton. Those who love culture should be sure to book a historic walk in the area or partake in traditional Chinese medicine. A visit to Maxwell Food Center and the Yixing Xuan Teahouse are a must for those who want to try local food and drink.
