9.2 Excellent
Pros: The beach, the aqua park, the pools are great. The most of the staff is nice and friendly. The confectioners (pastry cook) are great. Very good connection with Dolmus buses to Kusadasi, Ephesus, Dolphin park. It costs around 1 euro per person.
Cons: A bit more attention during the room cleaning (after check in we realized the missing dusting). The meal looks fantastic, just are not to tasty. This could be improved with more attention on the selection of the food raw material.

Cons: Room size are good but they tend to be a bit dark.
7.0 Good

7.9 Good
Pros: The resort is very clean with high levels of hygiene. The aqua park was great with a wide variety of slides and swimming pools. The beach was extremely beautiful. The food was tasty and with great varieties. The staff in the guest relation was very helpful with good english especially Elisa.
Cons: The standard of the rooms was below my expectations for a five stars resort. The mattress and carpets are little bit old.
7.5 Good
Pros: There was always something to do
Cons: It’s definitely not a 5* hotel - the staff weren’t very helpful, the waiters didn’t help you at all and it felt very like a ‘do it yourself’ place
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location has all facilities needed to offer to its clients full services and to not need to get out from the complex.
Cons: The quality of the food was ok, but we were expecting to have more traditional dishes and drinks.

Pros: Everything is absolutely so good it was one of my favorite holiday and I want to go also next year perfect hotel.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The food served cold in buffet. The hotel entertainment was far poor and mainly suitable for kids and families. The hotel is U inclusive but has not much to offer to you in the Evening. The hotel has got four special restaurant but they are only open couple of days a week and also only at night. They had a number of bars But you won’t expect much. You will only get a limited number of simple cocktails. Nothing special about he bar! I wouldn’t recommend it for young couples or single people. It was very boring at night or when it was raining. Best
Cons: Cocktails, food, poor entertainment.

Richmond Ephesus Resort - Selçuk - Outdoors view
7
8.5 Excellent (2,847 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Selcuk, this beachfront property is in the historical district and within 9 mi (15 km) of Temple of Artemis, Selcuk Efes Kent Bellegi History Museum, and Ephesus Archaeological Museum.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean sea, sunny weather, temperature is 28-35 degree which is very good allows sun bathing without disturbing warm and humid. Close to Kusadasi city center, we visited Kusadasi Dilek national park , very nice place inside the forest and near the sea with lots of bays, by car 30 mins. from hotel. Open buffet, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enough space on seaside for sunbeds.
Cons: Actually these are not big problems but will be better if can be fixed by hotel management; Sea is a little but cold but nothing to do about this :) We hired 2 different rooms, in both rooms, in Showers-WC, ventilation system is not working, this not create big problem but will be better if proper ventilation is provided. In rooms bigger LCD TV can be added. For Breakfast, lunch and dinner drinks can be served by Waiters to increase the comfort. Billiard and room safe has extra fee, in all inclusive hotel these should be free of charge.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The rooms are clean..stuff is proffessional..
Cons: hotel is very old..Hotel has been built about 30 years ago....value is higher because of service and ..beer, vodka and soft drinks which are included in all inclusive concept are unquality..
7.9 Good
Pros: facilities and entertainment: very good food: average room: average beach: sandy and good
Cons: -sea: very shallow sea ( good for families with children though), a bit wavy and cold water -reception: firstly they refused to accept me to hotel (single man not allowed!), later thanks God they accepted -safe deposit: is subject to fee, and although i paid, it was so old that it did not work (they failed to repair it)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is great, the beach is wonderful and the gardens also! The food was delicious and there was a surprise every evening! Thank you for everything!
Cons: The two ladies on the reception could be more polite with the guests and to explain more carefully, but above all it doesn't matter!
7.6 Good
Pros: The beach area is very nice here. The two bedroom suites were perfect for our needs, and there don't appear to be many of those within this area of Turkey that we could find.
Cons: The food is not very good at Richmond Ephesus. It is your typical international cuisine buffet that they make for 500+ guests each meal, so the quality suffers. It was without a doubt the worst part of the resort. We ended up driving into Selcuk for most of our meals, only eating the buffet when the timing suited us. If your intent is to explore ruins and the surrounding area, this isn't the place for you. If I go back I'll stay at a hotel within Selcuk for this purpose. If you intend to spend the majority of your time on the beach, then this will work. But why would you go to Selcuk to do that?
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Quite bad wifi, not always available and slow.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very enjoyable stay, wide variety of food and drinks. There are also stalls where fresh food is quickly prepared on request. The location is great for relaxation and sport activities. Swimming pool and beach areas were well maintained every day.
Cons: The first room I stayed in had an issue with noisy AC, and there was smell from pipes in bathroom. The issue was sorted out the next day and my new room was perfect, so actually I appreciated how the hotel dealt with the issue.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good, the stuff were really nice, the rooms were confortable, and the breakfast excelent. Perfect for backpackers who need something cheap, nice and confortable.
7.9 Good
Pros: Surrounding of balcony and house is vintage and charming. The reception girl is helpful, kind but I wish she can communicate in English. Local tours booked by the hotel is good, tourist guide explanation is professional.
Cons: Toilet is far away from the dorm, frequent night urination need the trouble to climb staircase to reach the toilet.

6.7 Good
Pros: Situated in the "Old Town" close to St. John's Basilica. Quiet neighbourhood, pleasant to walk around. Friendly Host.
Cons: The shower was tiny, no door, so water sprayed all over the floor. Only a hand shower, difficult to shower with only one hand. Breakfast was mediocre, but sufficient.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is not too far from the bus station or train station. The owner is very nice and good hospitality The food is nice
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Location is near to train station, coach station, amenities, museum, Artemis temple and St. John Basilica.
Cons: The smell of cigarette in the room, possibly not the owner's fault but the previous guess had been smoking in the room.
7.9 Good
Pros: Surrounding of balcony and house is vantage and charming. The reception girl is helpful, kind but I wish she can communicate in English. Local tours booked by the hotel is good, tourist guide explanation is professional except they simply change or omit itinerary without earlier notification.
Cons: I join the hotel arranged local tour but they cancel one of the itinerary without informing me earlier (trip to Sirince which may take at least 2 hour)but compensate me a little bit only (with entrance ticket to St John Church). My one day trip should end at 4pm but that day it end at 2pm. 2 hours earlier but compensate only with 18TL for that two hours (which initially include tourist guide, transportation and visit a Greek village which is an hour drive away from Selcuk)
6.0 Good
Pros: Near bus station and a few markets
Cons: Facilities are inaccessible, kitchen areas are off limits for guests. Rooms are very cold. And breakfast is not filling and overpriced
2.9 Mediocre
Cons: We were so tried after our day trip and the room wasn't the same we booked , heater and hot shower didn't worked at all . It was very cold when we asked help at a desk they weren't responsible. So we decided to change hotel in the middle of night ,later the receptionist came up by changing new room and we slept after big fights

Pros: Very nice host, very helpful and accommodating, best host we have met so far. Do take up the host’s offer of doing a day trip to see Pamukkale. Although you can take the local mini bus to see Ephesus, but you can’t get to Mary’s House on foot. We would recommend to take up the host’s one day trip see Ephesus and Mary’s House.
Cons: Needs fresh paint.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very accessibe from the Selcuk bus terminal. The room was very clean and quiet. John and Ismael were very, very helpful in guiding us with our daily itinerary and offered help whenever needed. They not only just answered our questions, they taught us how to navigate the city and also helped us with our upcoming Istanbul trip. The best part is, as Asians we love rice and Ismael cooked wheat rice for us cos we craved it!!!
Cons: Heater for the towels were not working. We had our Pamukkale tour and was told breakfast would be served early that day. I think everyone was still asleep so we didn’t get to have our breakfast. They bought us sanwiches, however, to eat on the shuttle. Overall it was a very pleasant stay at Nicea Hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, easily walking distance both from bus and train station. Spotless clean room with friendly yet decent services from helpful staffs. Overall great value for budget travellers.
Cons: Shower booth may be too small for 6 feet men
8.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing in particular, but it worth to renew room a bit (specially carpets).

Unfortunately as February is low season the open air pool and jacuzzi were not in service but the setting is beautiful.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is phenomenal, it has a traditional charm with elaborate dark wood surfaces embedded with decorative tiles, Turkish rug lined corridors and rooms with similar decor to match. The room was on the smaller side but featured a nifty ivy-adorned balcony with a great view up towards the castle walls above the town. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. On top of the hotel is a gorgeous terrace area where we enjoyed breakfast each day (which was also superb) and was a great place to chill out in the hot afternoon. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the free shuttle to the north gate of Ephesus came in handy.

6.3 Good
Pros: The room was beautifully decorated and breakfast tasty. They accommodated our request to change rooms to a less noisy spot. They were helpful with questions and information and the staff were friendly.
Cons: There were no coffee/tea making amenities in the room. If you wanted a warm refreshment you had to order it from reception at an additional cost. They never disclosed that it came at an additional cost and we only found out we were being charged at check out when presented with a bill. On the breakfast tables and according to the pictures on their booking.com profile they advertise restaurant facilities but this has been closed down. They need to update their information to properly inform prospective guests as these are considerations one takes into account when choosing accomodation.

Cons: The room doesn't have electronic kettle and does not offer bottle waters. We couldn't even make tea ourselves even we bought water from grocery store. Also, the room could be a little bit cold in winter as the A/C is not strong enough and the hotel does not provide thicker quilt. The breakfast options are very limited probably because there wasn't many customers in the hotel.

Pros: The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were modern and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast was very delicious, and the restaurant (which we ate at for dinner one night), while not the cheapest in Selcuk, was just as delicious. The location is walkable to the main area of the town, St. John's Basilica, and the Ephesus Museum. You will need transportation to the actual ancient city of Ephesus site and the House of the Virgin Mary though.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was my favorite accommodation in Turkey!! The staff and sweet hotel dog, Argos, made us feel like long-time friends staying at the hotel. Not only were the rooms magnificent, but the views, food and wine from the restaurant, and beautiful items in the downstairs shops all exceeded expectations. The #1 reason I would come back is to spend more time with the hospitable and friendly staff though!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: You feel like home when you are there. Service was top notch. Huseyin was great, he accommodates to all my request. Even food after way pass breakfast time. Something i will never get in other hotels.
Cons: It was a little noisy cause of the morning prayers. I am a light sleeper so it can be distruptive for my sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A charming and beautiful hotel, richly decorated with traditional carpets, ornaments and artwork, peaceful and very relaxing to stay in. Excellent swimming pool and good views from the terrace. Staff were very friendly and hospitable. Slightly above average prices, but once you get there you appreciate why!
