Pros: this hotel has no frills more like a youth hostel but the fact that it is right on the lake and close to the village excellent breakfast too well make up for its simplicity.
Cons: runners on the bunk beds very apinful on the feet ! and also the mirrors a bit too high for average height.( I think a very very tall Dutch person installed those!!!) It did make us laugh.
Pros: The facilities were fine, but we did run into a few difficulties. I had booked and paid for and confirmed a room with a private bath for 100 Euro. When we arrived, we were told that our room was given away and that we could either take a small cabin without the same facilities or we could find other accommodations in the nearest town, Sneek.
Cons: We were told that by taking the cabin accommodations we would get a refund of 50 Euro the next morning. When we were ready to leave the next morning, no one was available to give the refund, and breakfast was not even started.
When visiting Heeg, Stayokay Hostel Heeg - Hostel is a great choice to consider. You'll have free perks like breakfast and self parking.
Pros: Perfect location in the town center. Nice restourant.
Cons: Extra fee for Hotel parking 10 EUR/day
Pros: Great location, clean and nice
Cons: The very purple colour on the walls, the layout of toilet, sink and shower in different locations. (this was only in one of our two rooms)
Pros: The service in the restaurant was very slow but the food was good.
Cons: The bathroom are basic with poor lighting. The bathtub leaked.
Pros: The restaurant had a great ambiance. Nice wine selection. Beautifully decorated.
Cons: Breakfast was not well organized. The room was not nicely decorated and the bathroom was almost clinical, would have fit better in a hospital than a hotel. The common areas of the hotel were nice, but the quality of the room definitiely didn't meet our expectations considering the "big city price" that was charged.
Pros: nothing special, we stay only for one night to go to friends on their boat
Pros: I was very impressed that the hotel provided a full breakfast at 5 in the morning.
Pros: Good location, helpful staff, reasonable breakfast arrangements including at anti-social hours
Cons: Smell in the bathroom, lack of noise insulation from the street and the corridor outside of the room, lack of nearby parking, lack of safe for valuables in the room
Pros: Centrally located in beautiful old town. Excellent service from all staff, very helpful. Great buffet breakfast. Clean and tidy.
