Very clean room food was excellent
Internet was bit slow and drop off sometimes
Inn keeping at the top of its game.......brilliant team of people running an excellent establishment.
the meal in the pub restaurant and the breakfast was very good
the room was very small and the window only opened a couple of inches, very hot in the summer and very claustrophobic. Hall and stairs carpet very dirty and smelly.
The food was amazing and very comfortable bed! Great selection of beers and ciders. Staff were lovely
The water pressure wasn’t fantastic in the shower
The room had really good quality wooden furnishings, a very comfortable bed and was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent, in fact all the food we had was very good. The staff were very friendly. Entertainment on Saturday night.
Unfortunately the room we had was very small, the smallest we have ever stayed in. We couldnt pass each other in the room and I knocked my leg on the bedframe whilst squeezing by the end of the bed, several times. If I got out of the bed in the night I had no option but to put the light on otherwise it would have been impossible to get round the end of the bed. The bathroom takes up a large part of the corner of the room which only gave you about 2 foot around the bed. The room didnt have a dressing table as there wasnt room and only one very small shelf in the bathroom so struggled where to put everthing. It was a shame as we saw the room next door on our last morning and this was a much more reasonable size. The rooms all overlooked the garden and there is a bit of a lack of privacy as no nets or blinds so we had to pull the curtains all the time. Also an issue with people smoking below. Slight issue with toilet roll, coffee/milk and shower creme not being refilled. A little frustrating as we couldnt shower or have coffee before going down to breakfast because we hadnt realised not been replenished.
