Convenient Close to the Historic District Good Price Good accomodations
The door was hard to open during the stay
NIce bed, clean linens and pillows
The bathroom is for midgets....it is too small and the towels are rough....
Location, Denny's onsite
The shower head was awful, there was almost no pressure and very little water flow.
The room stunk. My fiance wouldn't get out of the car and go inside because the place looked so bad. We ended up not staying in the room and driving back home. Ruined our weekend. It looked like a drug dealer hotel.
everything was perfect but it would be convinient if you had a small fridge in the room.
It was cheap and it showed. For what we paid, didn't expect much. Wasn't the worst I've stayed in. Pretty close to historic area without actually being in the historic area.
It was an older location so maybe needs a touch up. I also woke up with bad allergies meaning their was mold and mildew.
The room had a roof, two beds, what we paid for basically. No complains about staff or service.
Itchy confertors, the attached Dennys was terrible.
Closeness to historic district. Staff was helpful and friendly.
As soon as we opened the door, a wave of mustiness hit us. One of the toilets looked as though someone used it. The blackout curtains were just filthy as well as the carpets. The air conditioning unit was very dusty and the mirror over the table was streaky and old looking. Bought Lysol to get rid of the smell. Lobby was very nice, but rest of area is in total need of updating. Will not be staying there again.
The staff was nice and the location was great.
The room was not clean. It smelled like mold. There was hair all over the bathroom. The shower head splashed water all over the place so I had a huge puddle of water in the bathroom. The tv only had one channel and the wifi is terrible!!! I expected a mini fridge and a microwave. The door would not lock. After calling the front desk twice, I had to wait almost an hour for someone to come look at it, just to get switched to another room.
That we didn't get wet when it rained. I expected to with the facilities.
Had to request turndown service twice for a 3 day stay, the attendant requested my credit card to make a physical copy of the card, turndown service resulted in exposing any valuables I'm room by passerbyers via opening the blinds, TV didn't work. Hand written instructions to operated TV in Spanish.
We weren't expecting much because of the price we paid. Cheap rooms and a cheap hotel. Would have been happier if it was 50 dollars a night for how unclean it felt. AC worked but the beds were terrible. We both had back problems during the day from sleeping weird. Don't eat at the attached denny's. Next time we're staying at a nicer facility.
FILTHY, SMELLY-DISGUSTING! Unsafe with homeless people living there & loitering outside rooms When we returned in the evening, the police were there for a "situation." Definitely not safe for families or women traveling alone. I would NEVER stay here again!
Dreariness of area and surroundings. Could hear neighbors.
