Too big and expensive for what it was
Room was too old, Unhygienic and the air conditioning wasn’t working.
The hotel is a 5 star yes, everything you want is there- rooms are big, bath supplies, pool etc. The staff is very German; efficient, but always follow the rules, no real personal attention or interest, at least in my difficulties. They did not offer any help with my problems.
To get to the hotel either you arrive by car, or you are required to climb 2 long staircases carrying your bags! The signage from the train station is non existent, hard to find in the dark. NOT suitable for older folk. The staff quoted me a price for an additional night, however another staff member then told me later on that this had been a mistake and the price was actually more than 100 euros more, very bad form indeed. My room was dusty and stuffy; I was informed the ventilation system does not work when the outside temp is lower than 15 c, the only option for air was to open the window, however the hotel is on a very busy street, extremely noisy and toxic from the cars zooming by. Be aware that city view means NOISEY STREET. Not worth the price at all!
All the staffs were super friendly, willing to help, and professional!
I liked everything about all the attention of the boy in the afternoon of reception that spoke a little Spanish and I helped you quite every lover will return thanks
