Pros: This is my go-to hotel in Stuttgart. Situated steps from the main train station, the location is unbeatable. Parking is very easy, but you won't need the car since shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs are all in easy walking distance.
The staff is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable.

Cons: We are not quite sure if there were bed bugs. We both got very itchy as soon as we went to bed and had little bites on our arms and legs. Even though we just stayed for 2 nights, we asked them to give us clean sheets the next day (which they usually don’t do due to environmental reasons / which is fine). The second night the itchiness was a little bit better but we definitely didn’t get a good night sleep during our stay.

Cons: Even after turning the heat on to the maximum around 20:30, my room stayed freezing cold until at least 1:30, making it impossible to sleep. I made sure that I closed the windows all the way multiple times, but there was still cold air blowing in my room.

Cons: The only down side are two points from being spoiled in America. The first is ample room for parking but with this one the suggestion is more about having a smaller car is better at all times in Europe. The second is a lack of air conditioning, which was not as big an issue given the temperature outside was not that hot. We simply needed to open the windows to get air flow in the room. if it had been hot outside things would have been more uncomfortable.

Cons: Whilst we arrived in the rain, the street parking wasn't easy to understand. We checked in and found the room acceptable, at least the shower was good. The bar in the evening was empty so we went out, and when we returned it was still empty. The breakfast put a smile back into the visit

Cons: There was no receptionist when I arrived and the elevator is out of service outside of receptionist hours. I was with a very big and heavy luggage so I had to go to floor 5 without an elevator and with the big luggage on my own because there was no one to help me. It was really hard and stressful. Wifi did not work at all and I was on a business trip so it did not let me to work.

Pros: Breakfast was very good, no hot food. WIFI was good. Hair dryer available upon request. Small bar at the reception was a nice touch with good prices. Neighborhood was quiet, but it’s walking distance to shopping, bars and restaurants. A little over a mile to the train station.

Cons: We travelled with other friends that had rooms on another floor and while rooms on the first floor were newly renovated the one our firends stayed in was extremely small and the beds less comfortable. The bathroom there was also tiny and some facilities were old.

Pros: I have to admit that I was a little bit sceptic about the hotel, but the hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, central, the room was very very clean and comfortable for 3 of us and the staff is great. The furniture is old but very very clean, cleaner than our room in some 5 star hotels. Specially they have a parking for a 15 euro/day fee what is cheap for Stuttgart city center. Guys you are great.

Cons: I made this booking and paid in full for it through booking.com for a friend of mine. However, when she checked-in, she was requested to pay again and they claimed to be unable to transfer funds from booking.com. They also advised us to request a refund from booking.com. Thus we ended up paying twice for the same booking and now are in the process of trying to resolve this issue and requesting a refund. :((((((

Cons: Receptionist woman was the worst hotel staff that I have ever seen so far and I have stayed in some miserable hotels. From the second I walked in, she had an attitude that baffled me. She couldn’t care less. She does not give you any information about anything in the hotel and looks for just getting rid of you as quickly as possible. For example she did not tell me to pay attention to the front door which is always locked and one of two keys she gave me was to open the front door (weird stuff, since most hotels do not have their front door locked all the time and they give you just one room key). As I did not want to carry around a 1 lbs key chain with me, I just took the room key and got out at night. When I came back, I realized the front door is locked but at the same time I saw the note on the door saying reception is open until 00:00 and it was 23:30 at that moment. I called the reception (and surprise!), no one was there. So I waited there for about half an hour, which wouldn’t be much of a problem if she didn’t come and yell at me saying that it was not her problem(?). This happened at the night of September 26, 2019. I don’t want to accuse other people working in the hotel. I hope she has nothing to do with the hotel administration otherwise this place is doomed.

Cons: The reception men were terrible, which really puts me off this place. The room is extremely small, but perfectly good for one person for two nights. It's warm and is easy to sleep at night (the other guests remain quiet after 10pm), but the emergency vehicles on the main road outside are really loud! Ask for a room on the opposite side of the building (the quiet side) or bring earplugs. While it is close to the HBF, it is an uphill walk plus there is a flight of steps to get into the hotel which makes it pretty exhausting after the uphill walk. Also, the website claims it has a washing machine, which it doesn't.
