Legacy is a great place to stay in Sulmona. It’s in a perfect location in the old town with many good restaurants and a wonderful cafe Ovidio at the top of the street. The caretaker, Viktor is very responsive and is always available on WhatsApp. He was easy to reach and was very attentive to our needs. Legacy has 4 apartments and is the perfect place to stay if you have a larger group that can stay together, but have your own private apartment.

Free parking is available about 200 meters away. We arrived at the property and contacted the neighbor, as the owner was out of town, who let us into our room. The room was clean and it’s conveniently located to the center of town.

Very nicely renovated apartment that was very comfortable for our stay in Sulmona. Free parking lot was a bonus with a steep walk uphill to the apartment. Good shower, great living room and kitchen with most things you would need. The washing machine was a bonus and the balcony got enough sun to dry the washing. A really great location right in the old town.

Beautiful apartment in the historical centre of the town. Excellent location, very well-placed close to bars, shops, restaurants and amenities. We did not receive welcome drinks as other reviewers have mentioned, however Victor was very friendly and accommodating to all our needs and his generous hospitality was second to none. It would have been nice to have breakfast included in the booking, but the apartment is self catering with a very well-equipped modern kitchen.

Several guests highly recommend choosing a room with a balcony facing the church and mountains for a spectacular view.
