The staff are very helpful, the resort is well maintained, it's within easy walking distance of the centre of town and the ferry to Split.
Excellent value for Money for late deals, allowed use of the facilities for the rest of the afternoon after we had checked out of the Hotel free of charge, Room was Spacious and clean, Nice pool and potential to do lots in the resort with activities and restaurants etc. There was a confusion on the price of the room when we checked out where we were initially asked to pay 800 K instead of the 500 K that it should of cost, this was quickly corrected by the second receptionist, but it is annoying to be overcharged. There we no golf balls and only one damaged table tennis ball and knackered bats at the The Table Tennis and Mini Golf course - which had seen better days. Being in a second floor apartement is not ideal when thereare no lifts and you have to carry heavy bags up the stairs yourself. It may have been partially down to the weather when we arrived but the TV reception was terrible in the room, it was not possible to watch the US Open tennis as we couldnt even read the score due to the static.
the territory is quite good for famalies with kids allthough pebbly shore makes swimming inconvenient Yes, claimed WiFi internet works only partially. It was not able to connect to some sites such as bloomberg and some mail-servers! Hence you have to pay for that service EUR 4 for only half an hour and there was no IT person able to help!
Close to beach, nice pool, Air condition can be improved
liked the surrounding area, beach etc. room was basic but clean. breakfast had wide range of cold meats and cheeses but very little fresh fruit we stayed one extra night and the rate we were charged was double the nightly rate that we got with booking.com. Also were initially overcharged
Nice room close to the beach. Breakfast and dinner are rich and tasty.
near the beach, nice place. quiet. prices to high to be in croatia.
The Waterman is part of a very large resort complex. If you like the timeshare/all-inclusive type places, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I would try for a smaller hotel. The location is approximately 1.5km from the ferry port, but they do not have any shuttle service to help with your bags, and a taxi costs 90 kuna one way. So, be prepared for a long walk with your luggage, or travel light!
The hotel location and the room were perfect! Out of season so a lot of repairs going on during we were there.
Great for families who want a lot of activity gong on throughout the day. Two good sized pools. It's cheap - you get what you pay for. Would question the 4 star status - behind the luxury reception are some very shabby corridors and rooms in desperate need of refurb.
I've booked the "Standard Double Room Park Side - Anex Building", but since we was with our child and this room was not suitable for 3 persons, hotel has changed my room to suitable one for free. You can eat in the beach bar until 2p.m. only. The beach should be cleaned up more often.
The location and staff. Room was pleasant and clean. We did no think where the hotel put us was of a 4 Star standard but the new part where the main hotel is, is of a 4 Star qualityt but not the outer buildings - 3 star, yes.
The tranquility The coffee of breakfast is from a machine and it is not really tasty.
The size of the room was much smaller than the one shown in the site presentation, the sofa and armchair were missing. I don't know if these belongs to booking.com or to the hotel, but if I would had a correct and fair information, I would have looked for other hotel. Because the information was wrong on purpose, I bought different quality than the one that I thought.
Hotel Amor is a jewel on the island of Broc which was refurbished by a fine gentleman who has put his heart into providing an utterly beautiful setting with a staff who pleases your needs and wishes. This hotel needs marketing for those needing a quiet and pleasant vacation. Not one thing, thank you.
Having a balcony. Internet access including hot spot in reception area. Breakfast. Although this was a 4* hotel, it lacked 4* quality. Reception staff could have been more helpful when we arrived late (10.30pm). There was nowhere in the hotel we could get a snack, had to walk 10 minutes into town. The electricity blew a fuse in the middle of the night when going to the bathroom. Lots of little things that led to an average stay, not memorable.
Spa, comfortable room. staff good The breakfast was truely terrible. I have never experienced anything quite like it. Not only was the food of awful quality but it was packed with families from another part of the complex. One even placed a laptop playing a cartoon at full volume in front of their ADD 4 year old.
The hotel was in a lovely setting, the staff where amazingly helpful and friendly and there was a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.
New, clean hotel with a touch of design and very friendly and helpfull staff. Located between pine trees close to a pebble beach and 10 minutes walk from Supertar center. Great coffee from the cocktail-bar must be taken up on a 3rd floor open terrace with a breathtaking view on sea and mainland. Your also can have breakfast outside under palm trees and use sauna for free. Breakfast was a bit weak for 4 star hotel. Same every day, no vegetables, no melons or watermelons. Watery coffee and juices.
Friendly and helpful stuff. Food can be better. Only superior rooms are located in main building, which have much better standard then rooms in other buildings. It's not clearly noted at offers description.
location, rooms, cleanliness reception staff were a bit rude at times and didnt fully understand what we were saying which made it difficult
Good location close to the sea, many tennis courts, friendly staff. The standard double room is a bit small.
Fabulous beach Zlatni Rat - 500m away. There is also a beach next to hotel. Not in the city center, but quite close. No wireless internet in the room, only at the lobby
Excellent hotel facilities such as indoor and outdoor swimming pool, very close to the famous Bol beach. Hidden charge: there was a fridge in our room inside which were few drinks; water and wine. I assumed they were included in our room since there was no sign of extra charge. You see free drinks in some hotels and I assumed it was like them. At the end, I was asked to pay for the drinks I had from that "mini bar" in our room! Finally I paid extra 85 Kuna.
absolutely loved the layout of the hotel and its location. Loved the bowling. The staff were very rude. I kindly asked for some cutlery to be brought up to my room but was rudely told to come down to reception to get it myself. Then had it delivered to my room anyway. When checking out I asked for the total cost of room instead of a break down and was rudely spoken to very unprofessional. Staff definately need more training on customer service because its a great hotel in a fabulous location. Thank you.
I enjoyed staying at Hotel Elaphusa. In fact, this was one of those vacations where I just wasn't ready to return home. I appreciated the affordability of the hotel. I thought the rates I found through booking.com were very fair considering that this hotel has a lot of amenities. We were very close to the beach and not far from Zlahtni Rat Beach. My husband really enjoyed the hotel gym, saying there was quality equiptment to use. I enjoyed the spa, indulging in a pedicure and a massage. We also used the Kids Club to have some time alone during our stay. The staff is great with kids and my daughter loved it. I wish the kids program was longer than 1 and a half hours, but it is free of charge. Best of all, we really enjoyed the hotel dinner. The buffet was really big with a huge variety to chose from. We knew that breakfast was included in the price of our stay, but we were not charged for dinner either. Breakfast is decent, but not as elaborate as dinner. Overall, I feel like our family really enjoyed this hotel stay and we would most definetly stay here again. We didn't like the way the air conditioning in our room worked. You had to have the sliding balcony door closed in just the right way or the air conditioning would switch off. I can't tell you how many times my husband got up and had to try and fix it. He was very frustrated by it. The beds were the typical two doubles pushed together. I'm not sure if they had wheels or if they just slid on the floor, but they kept sliding apart, making it difficult to snuggle. I also felt like the staff at the front desk was a bit rude during check-in and check-out. Perhaps it was the language barrier.
A beautiful area with access directly to the promanade and beach area. Pool area are delicate and well maintained.
I loved the gymnasium and spa facilities. The bowling alley with the pool tables was good entertainment for the evening and the nightclub although quite was nice to have on your doorstep particularly as you could not hear the music even fromt he lobby. Situated just on the promanade made it quite romantic and also gave me a great place to do some running without looking too hard for suitable area. The beds were extremely comfortable and large and it was fantastic that we could defer the room cleaning until later in the day so we could relax and not have to rush out of our room As i pesonally like to run before breakfast i would love it if the hotel breakfast ran until eleven in the morning to allow me to do this and eat afterwards, but no problem. I would also like the wifi in the bedrooms to give me privacy to skype
The location is perfect, and the hotel has everything you could want for a relaxing holiday as a family or a couple. The staff are very freindly and helpful.
We had a great stay. The rooms were really spacious & the bathrooms great. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. Only wishing that we could stay longer than 1 night.
Peaceful surroundings, helpful staff, well-organized facilities. The hotel is set in a plesant environment and its concept, design and architecture irresistibly reminds on the same-like hotels on Greek islands. Definitely nr. 1 on the whole of Brac island.
Good room service, nice view, rooms (appartments) are well equipped, spacious, nice and comfortable. Staff is friendly. Walls between terraces are too small, so you see and hear your neighbours. Breakfast could be more various
Beautiful setting.... large room with good outdoor space. Proximity to sea.
Suite was lovely. Staff was attentive and helpful. Close to a small beach.
Great location, helpful staff . Beautiful small villa.
Very close to the beach/sea. The town center of Supetar is in walking distance. Staff recommended excellent restaurant. Extremely friendly and helpful. Familiar atmosphere.
The rooms were clean and bright, quite a small bathroom but ok for our needs. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel was in a good location to the beach and local restaurants, two very good restaurants just off of the harbour. The swimming pool was dinky but very pleasant to relax around. There was plenty of other pleasant outside space to relax in by the bar.
The friendliness of the staff. Also, the location of the hotel and the view from our room. The room was also clean and comfortable.
Very friendly staff and very clean.
Great location.Quiet but short walk to bars resturants. Hotel staff very helpful. Breakfast first class. Very large bed & good aircon. Pool in shade cold and small. No gym equipment. Very cramped patio on ground floor rooms facing courtyard
People at reception are very friendly. They give you good advices on programs and restaurants. The breakfast was the same every day.
Hotel staff were very nice and helpful, breakfast was good, location was fine (although a 10 min walk from the port), very clean and well-maintained The bed was a little too firm for my liking, but everything else was just fine
The personal touches of the owners...they were so hospitable but never overberaing...I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
Excellent location and facilities. The staff were extremely helpful.
The hotel was clean, nice and great value for money! The staff were very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was great too! N/A
The hotel was in a great location with 3 awesome restaurants nearby rather than doing the main town restaurants. (Service, quality of food and pricing were all great at Gradelle, pizza navoni and Ranc). The rooms were equipped with mini fridges and a balcony which made it very easy to enjoy some afternoons and evenings enjoying the beautiful patio and pool. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We stayed 5 nights in this hotel and we were really happy we chose it because of the included breakfast and pool. Easy parking, not many steps and elevator access in the hotel. Hotel room safe, hair dryer and several electrical outlets were also added benefits. The coffee at breakfast was not great. The bed sheets were very small and there was no quilt/comforter so we had to use the spare blankets in the closet which I hate doing while travelling or just hope that those are always washed too. The guests before us on our balcony broke a glass and there were shards everywhere which I had to clean up. No one came by to sweep it to make sure everything was safe so I just never went on the balcony or patio without flip flops. Minor complaints because everything else was perfect.
central location near the services, friendly hostess. church bells right next to it keep annoying noise, on suite bathroom means just a shover toilets are on the hall way.
Friendly owner, cozy and small family hotel, great pleace, near the city center Now parking available - just a public parking and hard to find a spare place
MIA CASA! Where to begin... on arrival we received the most amazing welcoming by the owner of the apartment. The place is run by an adorable family of 3. Young, friendly and very open-hearted people. The rooms were perfectly cleaned, very cosy, airconditioned and rather large. If there is anything you want to know about Supetar or the Island Brac (and its surroundings), just ask Igor or Mirelca and they will tell you everything you need to know. If you're planning on visiting Brac, 1 place to stay: Casa Mia! The best accomodation we've stayed at during our trip through the coastal area of Croatia, by far.
Homely, convenient, friendly place.
Convenient location. Lovely terrace. Not hassled by anyone. Very friendly owners. From 10.30pm noise stopped including church bells! Comfortable bed. Fridge facility. Bedside light did not plug in anywhere. Restaurant opposite and bar next door occasionally noisy at night. Automatic air fresheners!!
The hotel staff was very helpful, people at the reception were very nice and spoke English, Italian and German very well, so there were no comunication problems. The rooms were OK, not very large but large enough for our expectations, and they were extremely clean. The food in the hotel retaurant was excellent, there was also a very good restaurant on the beach near the hotel. The surroundings were lovely - the hotel is situated in a wonderful garden and is very close to the beach. We've only stayed for 5 days but it was a great experience, especially as we learned wind-surfing - there are at least 2 places where we could rent the boards (with instructor) on the beach near the hotel.
both location and facilities -
Perfect location for beach and short walk along promenade into town for evening dining. Good choice.
The hotel is good but the food is excellent.
Location excellent, the hotel staff very helpfull, hotel very clean, the standard of food excellent and the childrens reps friendly. Nothing I didnt like.
Staff were excellent, hotel is very clean and comfortable, pool area was very nice. Very close to beach and only 10 minute walk to the town centre. Free internet access was a bonus.
The cleanlyness of the blue matresses on the sunbeds were not done! Colud be a lot better.
Good location, close to the beach and walking distance from the port area and Zlatni Rat. Rooms are a bit dated, but we didn't spend much time in them. My only complaint is that our bathroom had a strange, unpleasant smell.
Fantastic hotel with fantastic setting. Very friendly staff. Near beach. Very good food. Lovely apartments. Very relaxing and quiet in comparison with the mainland hotels. A lot of stone steps wich was a bit dangerous for our toddler and the mattresses were a bit too soft. Ferry was very busy so we had to wait for the next one to get to the island.
have to walk 5-10 minutes to Bol but uts a nice walk. the see is half a minute away and there is a kids friendly pool at the hotel
Our Apartment was smaller as expected and a bit old fahioned. Apart from that we had some fun at the pool and the service was good. The Entertainment Crew does a really good job!
The staff was really exceptional. The serving staff for meals greeted us the first day and quickly learned our preferences. The would provide the things we usually asked for at meals without our asking after a couple of days. The staff really worked hard to make us feel like 'honored guests'. The room was excellent and very well maintained. We would have liked more comfortable chairs in our room, especially on the patio. Both of us had to do some work during our stay and the metal chairs were difficult to sit in for long periods of time during the day. The couch was nice, but not the kind you can really relax into as it is just a bit short (not in length, but in width).
This is the 5th time I have been in Croatia, and the Lipa made this (among other factors) the best oliday so far. The staff are extremely hard working, attentive and pleasant. We want to and will go back. I have already recommended to others. The sofa in the bedroom is a bit too short.
Undoubtedly this was the best hotel that I stayed in my entire tour across Europe. The service is excellent, the breakfast is tasty, has no time to stop and the location is very good - the hotel is 3minutes for the bus station ,where buses leave from time to time to Bol and elsewhere, and there is 4minutes from the ferry and the center of Supetar, being possible to walk quietly. And for those who want to know the beach in Supetar, the hotel is almost in front of the beach.__("Sem dúvidas esse foi o melhor hotel que fiquei em meu tour pela Europa. O atendimento é excelente, o café da manhã é gostoso, não tem hora para acabar e a localização é muito boa - o hotel fica há 3 min do bus station, 4 min do Ferry e do Centro e na frente da praia.") The curtains will not seal all clarity.("As cortinas não vedam toda a claridade.")
Proximity to the beach
Excellent choice of food, very nice swimming pools, good show every night at the pool side, close pebble beach (in front of Bluesun Hotel Borak) only 7 minutes to walk or you can go to the Zlatni Rat (20 minutes to walk) Next time I'll choose september because there is to hot in august
Friendly staff that is always smiling, excelent and veried food, wide choice of free-time activities, excelent location
the gentlemen working reception and restaurant staff were friendly, the selection of food was good, my son liked the entertainment by the pool
Good location ,near beach ,excellent choice and quality of food, very clean. Only locally produced alcohol and soft drinks available ,no others that you could purchase. No Tonic water only in the dining room...so not used as mixer or to drink on its own
great location very helpful staff close to zlatni rat
Excellent overall... nice location, nice little pool, silence, clean, stuff is ok, and the value for money is also ok... it was so good that we booked one more night However, the hotel offers breakfast... but very poor and every day the same junk food
Room was kept very clean and air conditioned.
the swimming pool and the location the breakfst was not up to standards with other hotels on Hvar, Cres or other hotels in Croatia
Lovely room & bathroom
room was clean and comfortable, swimming pool small but fine Breakfast could be better, would be good if fruit and yoghurt was offered
tha balcony was very good tha breakfast is simple in comparison with other hotels of similar characteristic.
Nice pool and location.
The staff were very friendly and the hotel is very well located to the restaurants and beaches. The website actually doesn't do this hotel justice, it is very beautiful and much nicer than the pictures portray. A very nice surprise!
The room was very nice, with a balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel was fairly quiet and we had the whole pool area to ourselves. The hotel was about 10 minutes walk to the main town and about 10 minutes (in the other direction) to the Zlatni Rat. The air conditioning was rubbish and so the room was quite hot. Also the breakfast wasn't great.
