8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and the staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are traditional japanese with an amazing mountain view; futons were very comfortable. Honestly probably the best stay ive found in japan so far. An amazing retreat into the mountains. There were plenty of things to do, the owner provides rafting service if you wish, which was a 3 hour+ experience which was totally worth it. Highlight of my trip. There is also the traditional fire heated bathtub for stargazing that you can do for an extra 1000 yen. Amazing experience! Ive been to a 5 star hotel in japan with a in room outdoor onsen, but honestly this beats it. If you want to get away, or want to pause from the city life. This is where i would go. 10/10
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was just wonderful: beautiful location with thousands of stars in the night, lying down in the hammock; making a barbecue outside, watching beautiful mountains; nice and comfortable Japanese style house and Goemon-bath; free washing; nice staff. We, two adults and three children really enjoyed staying there! We wish we could stay longer!!
Cons: It was pretty hard to get there by driving because of narrow road.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view, spacious room, renovated and clean facilities, wonderful staff. The outside bath was a fantastic experience and is a must! Very close to the beautiful Niyodo river.
Cons: Locared on the top of a mountain and driving there is not easy for those who are not accustomed to narrow mountain roads. The bathroom and toilets were outside the main building (but were very clean and renovated).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rarely have I met a host so attentive. I stayed with Takao and his father one brief night in November, the place around the guesthouse is absolutely pristine, I love the feeling of staying in the mountain, and to discover a somehow more remote version of Japan I have been accustomed too. Takao put all his energy and creativity in building the guesthouse and ensures his guests will have a fantastic experience surrounded by nature. There is something ringing true about the ancien Japanese spirit, wisdom and tradition of hospitality at Takao's guesthouse, do not hesitate further.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely heart warming hospitality of family run guesthouse. Most careful attention to every detail, even heating bathroom in the morning. Unique outdoor bath. Most beautiful view one can imagine. Exceptionally clean and tidy. So friendly and going out of their way including information about area, touring, eating etc. Delicious breakfast! We recommend the place to everyone who is looking for an outstanding experience.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Takao and Dad location Hospitality and Friendliness of the hosts. Hot Tub view from the bedroom window..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff. The guesthouse was clean and well-maintained. Enjoying barbecue under the starry sky was amazing.
Cons: Nothing really. It was a great stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The position of the property is magnificent but best of all is the amazing family who own and run the guesthouse. We had the most awesome experience ever. Not to be missed! An absolute gem ❤️

Pros: The onsen offers an in- and outdoor bath, small but very nice. The room was spacious and clean, the restaurant serves most delicious and fresh seafood, the staff (hotel and restaurant) were very helpful, kind, friendly and courteous. Omotenashi at its best! thank you!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Onsen is nice, even if you can see a lack of maintainenance of the facilities.
Cons: Very dirty floor in the common areas and in the room. Old hotel with lack of maintenance. NO GO if you want a nice place with your significant other. It doesn't deserve the booking rating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, by the ocean
Cons: Check out time 9.00. Too early
7.5 Good
Pros: Great onsen. Nice, Japanese-style rooms and futons. Souvenir shop.
Cons: Certain staff could have been more friendly and helpful. It did not alway as if we were welcomed.
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff were waiting for us as we drove up to the property and collected our bags. The Onsen is really great. Very nice dinner sets and helpful staff in the restaurant.
Cons: Checkout of 10am a bit too early.
6.7 Good
Pros: The outdoor onsen is very nice as well as the mineral salted water. The decoration is all about the ohenro .
Cons: The hotel really needs to be refreshed The carpet is stained and dirty, which lowers the standing of the place..
4.2 Okay
Pros: The view from the room is really nice. It's quiet. That's about it.
Cons: The floor was really dirty. The facilities are really old and the hotel needs some serious renovation. The price is way too high for what you get.
7.5 Good
Cons: WiFi too weak / slow in the room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Someone was waiting for us outside the hotel and walked us in. The staff was very friendly. The room itself had everything you needed. The onsen was very nice! It had an iron bath and two small sulfur baths outside. The view was amazing!!
Cons: The carpet had some stains, but I guess that happens with carpet floors.
Tosawashi Kougeimura Qraud - Ino - Building
5
7.4 Good (421 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Tosawashi Kougeimura QRAUD in Ino, you'll be 7 minutes by car from Ino Paper Museum. Featured amenities include luggage storage and a water dispenser. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: The place is unusual, something between a good out-of-town restaurant, handicraft center, highway hot spring facility of average quality and a hotel (itself). The location is good (again, it is out of Kochi, but not too far), the view from the rooms is quite scenic and the restaurant is pretentious but high-quality. At the same time, I did not feel at home. It is a good place to have a meal and an ok place to stay overnight, but not more than that.
Cons: As far as I understood, the onsen is not "real", it was artificially heated water from the river. The room was very spacious, but was not cozy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The spa/sento was great. The room was big. Dinner was fantastic.
Cons: If you aren't local, bring money! No international ATM for miles around
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great menu & food.
7.5 Good
Pros: The restaurant was a very nice surprise! Excellent cuisine; a pleasure for the eye and the palate! The interior of the restaurant is refined in contrast with the lobby and the rest of the building. Staff was very friendly.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: For a one night stay perfect. We had a very nice and good dinner in the Restaurant and the Japanse breakfast is also very good. Rooms are nice and spacious. The public bath was a bit old and certainly needs a makeover, but still very nice after a long day out and walking a lot. All in all a very nice stay with super friendly staff!
