Pros: the most comfortable beds we have ever had, 2 clean bathrooms, things to borrow/use eg. games, very nice apartment and surrounding, we appreciate the help and advice from the owners
Cons: the water flows very slowly from the tap
Pros: Peter and his wife were extremly helpful prior to our arrival. The apartment is spacious, cute, clean and at a great location. It has all the facilities you need. Restaurant is 50 m away and shops etc nearby. It is perfect for couples as well as for families.
Cons: There was nothing.
Pros: This was just amazing. I travel very frequently and I have tried different places. This has been the best place in Slovakia, and one of the top 5 I've ever stayed in. It's really a very nice and cozy place! It has a fireplace and a very nice living room with an open kitchen and a table set which is positioned in a way that you can fully enjoy the view of the fireplace. Most importantly, it literally felt like a second home! It felt like your best friend or a family member left you his/her house keys and told you to enjoy your stay. And that's what made it stand out. Just to name a few examples - there was a hairdryer, all types of spices, wine for the evening, wood prepared in the fireplace and next to it, and even some foods in the freezer in bags, honey, sugar, spices, slippers ... paper towels, knife for peeling cucumber, or washing machine - simply, just like at your home. It would be also awesome for families with babies and kids - they have all things that are needed for kids as well as games. My girlfriend especially enjoyed the cleanliness of the apartment ;) and attention to detail which are usually not that important for man like me ;) i.e. new sponge for dishes, fresh scent in the place, I forgot many other things she appreciated but she also said it was her best stay in Slovakia! The owners were unbelievably nice and accommodating. We will definitely come back (if they have availability)! By the way, if you open the window before adding wood to fireplace, it would prevent the smell from the fireplace getting into the room. In short: it is spacious yet cozy house for family (it didn't feel at all like the owners bought it for making money off of it). It felt like the owners just let us stay in the place they really enjoy for themselves. And I enjoyed that very much! The best place in Slovakia and one of the best stays ever.
Pros: The place is a home away from home. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone :)
Pros: I lived the fireplace! Very pleasant stay in the nature. Super silence :) Well and tastefully equiped .
Cons: One of the beds was squeeking :)
Pros: Very clean and comfortable apartment, fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine. We loved the fireplace in the living room and the surrounding of the cottage. 100% recommend!

Cons: - parking was a mess, not enough room - dated furniture / interiour design

The shared facilities are fully equipped and certainly meet your expectations. The other guests were really polite and nice people too. I can definitely recommend this place.

Pros: Cleanliness & Staff
Pros: Room feels new, bed is big and comfortable good breakfast as well. It is a good base for hiking in the Low Tatras if you are with w a car. The parking place for Chopok is 10-15 mins drive away. Great value for the price, would gladly book again here.
Cons: Night security guard did not speak English. There were not enough power sockets in the room, had to charge one phone in the bathroom.
Pros: Really comfortable beds. Very clean - everything's spotless really.
Cons: Breakfast was bad.. we ordered 4 different options of breakfast and none of them looked like in the picture or description from the menu. Burnt fried eggs, undercooked omelet, instant coffee, no honey with the tea..
Pros: Cozy, clean, good ambiance, nice staff
Cons: Weak Internet connection in the room.
Pros: ultimate price-valua ratio, very good food, one can reserve sauna+jacuzzi for private use for little money. The location is very quite in a small village, but only 10mins from ski areas, and 1 min frrom hike trails.
Cons: Our room was a relatively small, as a lot of drying space needed for ski clothes, but not a big issue.
Pros: Staff was very helpful. I enjoyed the simple and tasty breakfast. I saw there's sauna too, but you need to reserve in advance. I liked the dedicated parking places.
Cons: Didn't see a ski room, but then I didn't ask so maybe I just missed it.
Pros: Very comfortable, spacious room. Nice and clean bath. I will be back :)
Pros: Good breakfast, nice and clean rooms, nice staff
Cons: The wellness have to be reserved before arriving,
Pros: The room was clean and cozy. Food was perfect.

Pros: Friendly hotel personal, good location, big swimming area with different kind of sauna,
Cons: I have heated several times the wide glass shelf under the mirror during the washing my face and on the last day of our stay I have found on its shelf the warning in Slowak language, something like: "Be careful, the glass shelf is too wide". It was funny. Dear hotel, please replace the shelf with the one wich fits better. You know the problem, right? :)
Pros: Great location, tasty food, helpful staff, excellent saunas.
Pros: Easy access to wellness. Close to Low Tatra Mountains. Very friendly stuff.
Pros: Lovely hotel. Massive pool and great sauna area. Food at dinner and for breakfast was good and plenty of it! Staff very friendly and the whole place was immaculately clean. Loved it
Cons: Better WiFi?
Pros: Very good breakfast. Great location. Very good leisure facilities with big pool & new spa area- 'could' be a really nice hotel. Staff spoke English well.
Cons: Poor dinner options at imbalanced price. Room quite small & bathroom too small - possibly why it hadn't been cleaned & kept to better standard. Curtains in bedroom need sorting out aswell. Guests in leisure area should be guided by staff so as not to ruin experience for other guests.
Cons: The pillow in the bed are very poor . not convincing
Pros: neat rooms, friendly personnel
Cons: not much choice at buffet.
Pros: Delicious breakfast, very clean and beuatifull wellness.
Pros: Beautiful nature,
Cons: We have paid the bill via Booking.com in advance but they wanted to pay us again (we asked to check it again). After this issue solved, they wanted to pay us also other customer's dinner bill. The team is not so professional. Breakfast was okey but the dinner wasn't delicious (raw rice).
Pros: We stayed two nights at the hotel and had a package with access to pool and sauna. A package we can recommend. We also had an evening buffe for 15 EUR which was tasty but could be improved with more vegetables and variation of dishies. The room was very comfortable and silence. If You want to make excursion or trekking You have to take your car in order to go to a starting point somewere in the mountain.
Cons: Should be useful if the hotel could arrange trekking with start at the hotel so You can avoid going by car.
Pros: Considering the price and locality, this is quite nice accomodation. A bit older, but very clean. The highlight is the breakfast that can be served in 4* hotel.
Cons: sound isolation is not ideal, but it is expected in the wooden hut as this.
Pros: The staff is very nice and helpful :)
Cons: Everything was great :)
Pros: The position is very close to the Jasna Slope and Cable way, the Hotel are nice and with Restaurant inside. The common bathroom are cleaned. The breakfast included are ok. The room are really simple but confortable.
Cons: It's a bit hard to find because there is not signal on the street and the gps will bring you to the next hotel. The bar close at 10.00 pm. The noises coming from other rooms and staricase will make you impossbile sleep, so you should be lucky that your neighborod are quite enough.
Pros: Staff was friendly and they let me put my bike in the garage when it started raining.
Cons: The upper floor rooms could use a renovation.
Pros: comfortable bed amazing view from room
Pros: Location and nice staff.
Cons: Need to be early in the breakfast, otherwise nothing left.
Pros: Good breakfast, clean room, comfortable beds, good location.
Pros: Super kind staff, even though they do not speak English or German. We stayed in the family room in the attic. A truly amusing room, very long, very narrow, but equipped with everything that makes a stay comfortable. If you take this room, be aware that the toilet is one floor below and the nice and clean shower is two floors away! We did not mind that. It was a good exchange for the privacy that this room provided. The bed was very comfortable: the mattress the right hardness, the pillow the right size, comforter the right thickness. I loved the little touches that made the place feel like a home away from home: nicely folded towels on the beds, books on the nightstands, board games, playground with trampoline. We loved the rich breakfast buffet and the a'la carte dinner in the restaurant. We had dinner there once as a couple, once with 5 other friends, service was fast and attentive both times, and the food very tasty. Great draft beer and kofola!
Cons: There is no soap in the shower, you have to have your own! (There is liquid soap at the sink in the room and also in the toilet. Why not in the shower then?)

Pros: Clean room with well equipped kitchen. Ski slopes are near, breakfast was good. We ordred dinnr also, and it was delicious too. All in all, really good value for money.
Cons: The Wifi was not that good, it was really weak in our room.
Pros: Nice and clean room, perfect breakfast. Good internet
Cons: Staff is polite but not comunicative. Location is not directly in the nature, as you can immagine from the pictures, but in the main road of the village, where walk is dangerous since there is not sidewalk. Do not expect a restaurant, where you can seat and decide at the moment, but a familiar kitchen were you have to order from morning.
Pros: Every thing was ready no fuss nothing
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant is nice, you can have nice and good beer there from tap. Also the location is good for visiting Lower Tatras.
Cons: You can hear through walls. If other guests have breakfast early you can hear that and might wake you up if small noise wakes you up.
Pros: Perfect breakfast and dinner. Perfect staff.
Pros: Perfect location with beautiful view.Close to the hiking tracks and bicycle paths.Varied, ample breakfast.,the bar is very good.Cleanliness everywhere.Comfortable, clean rooms. The hosts are very nice. Best value for money.

Pros: staff and owner were very friendly... house was clean and warm... great location, quiet and everything was welcoming :) feels like at home we'll be back for sure...
Pros: in the kitchen we found everything clean and there was enough plates, cutlery and all equipment.
Cons: We would be more happy if the kitchen would be warmer. There was about 18 degree or less. Because we were group of friends we wanted to spend more time together there, but it wasnt really possible because of the temperature. The second day it was better. The heating was working very slow. And no TV in the room. Usually at this level of price there is TV in each room.
Pros: The place was neat, it seemed to be freshly refurbished, it was nice and clean. The kitchen in the basement is also a big plus. It's about a 15 minutes drive to Chopok. Overall, our stay was very pleasant, would definitely consider staying here again.
Cons: We were missing a few details, during the checkout for instance, but the response was quick when we asked for clarification. The towels were a bit small to my liking, but had our own, so it wasn't an issue.
Pros: The property has nice bedrooms with private bathroom, we found everything clean and comfortable. The best thing about this accomodation is the shared kitchen and lounge area. We loved it and used it for having breakfast and dinner together. The ski resort Jasná-Chopok is about 15 minutes drive away. This apartment is a good choice if you plan a skiing holiday.
Cons: Maybe it would be useful to have a hair dryer in the rooms. Besides everything was great.
At the edge of the Mýto pod Ďumbierom village in the Low Tatras national park, the rustic-style Penzión Encián is within 5 km from both ski resorts of Mýto and Tale, and features an on-site restaurant. Chopok Juh Ski Resort is 15 km from the property, and the Cave of Dead Bats is 12 km away.
Pros: Very nice owner, beautufil neighborhood.
Cons: Everything was fine.
Pros: Everything was super clean, the house and its surroundings are very pretty with cute decorations presenting some local traidtions. The owner is very nice. The guests feel more like visiting their aunt rather than staying at a guest house. Also, she is a great cook! The best bryndzove halusky I have ever had in my entire life!
Cons: It's more of a recommendation for an improvement. I would appreciate bigger and fluffier towels.
Pros: Beautiful garden outside and a very interesting souvenir/craft shop.
Cons: This place is a hoax and nobody should go there. - Extremely poor rooms - Low quality furnitures - Poor wi-fi - There is no restaurant, you gonna be asked to chose between two dishes that the lady is however preparing for the husband (the husband gonna eat both of them, you gonna have to chose one). And you have to express your choice by the afternoon ! This is the concept of "restaurant". - The walls and floors are so tiny that you can really feel all of what your neighbour is doing. - The host is arrogant, unfriendly and in denial of all the issues this "place" has. - The bathroom had an ashameful shower, dirty and with no hanger for the shower. - There is not real warm water, just a 37 degrees low pressure stuff coming down - The fan in the bathroom was broken, and looked broken since ages, so... the smell... - You cannot pay with card. - The parking place is not enough large for the people hosted, so we found our car blocked when we needed to go out. - The price is ridiculous, 80 euro to sleep one night in less then a dormitory quality place with an arrogant host just taking money from people. In the area for the same price you can have a modern large double room, breakfast, SPA access. We paid the price and however left at 20.00 to go back home. It was better to sacrifice the next day of skiing instead than staying there in this unconfortable, dirty, cheap place... DO NOT GO IN THIS PLACE !
Pros: Excellent breakfast, tidy rooms, calm neighbourhood. The landlady is very kind and speaks English well. Loved it!

Cons: afet 23 pm there is nothing to do,there is yeti bar near by,but is not that near,so you have to walk like 15 minutes or so,maybe some hotel ski-mobile workig as a taxi would help in the future :D
Pros: The view was great. No one was in SPA.
Cons: Personal is poor in English language. Shower floods everything.
Pros: Very nice local food, affordable prices, amazing beautiful location, lovely sauna-wellness.
Pros: Great location on hill slope ! Helpful and friendly staff. Good dinners. SPA definitely worth visit.
Cons: Breakfast can be better. It' too hot in many premises. The elevator is example of the second generation :)
Pros: The hotel is just right on the ski slope so it makes it easy to head off for a day full of skiing. The wellness is great with hot tubs and 3 different saunas. Also there was a great selection of food.
Pros: Dont expect much about the food but it's okay. Cosy rooms, extra near to the slopes. :)
Cons: Overhearing a bit.

Pros: Great location, just beside slopes and lift Very nice lobby / bar with fireplace and some space for kids Modern and very comfortable ski room Kind and helpful stuff Quite good food in restaurant Private parking

Cons: Room service not existent, no fresh shampoo, dirty cups, beds undone, rooms look a bit like from the 70/80s
Pros: Lovely hotel at a great price if you are going to ski or hiking that area of the Low Tatras:) The wellness was good after a whole day hiking in the snowy mountains:)
Pros: Quiet location, excellent breakfast and wellness center.
Pros: I liked the cat, wich was always waiting near the enterence so I used to pet him all the time. Wellness was also great. The restaurant down the hill was nice and even when I spilled the beer (ups), they were not mad.
Cons: Breakfest was a bit booo
Pros: Very nice environment and friendly staff, breakfast is amazing in this category and food in general is great
Cons: If some of the staff could speak better English, that would be just awesome
Pros: Great location Spa had everything we needed to recover after the day of skiing
Pros: For skiing it was the best for that prize!
Pros: Excellent as always!
Pros: Super price-value as always, great wellness, refurbished suite, good breakfast
Penzion Fantazia is located in Brezno. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: What's not to like
Pros: I really appreciated the food we had it was excelent and staff was very nice too, offered to bring us food upstairs, also the location is perfect if you enjoy breathing clean air and I loved the view we had in the morning of the balcony.Nice bonus is mini zoo in the backyard.
Cons: Strange odour in the room, but we had our window opened all nigh so did not bother us so much.
Pros: Staff was very friendly , breakfast perfect and filling and the room.was very homey and lovely.
Cons: The bathroom was old altho it was perfectly clean I didn't like it
Pros: Beautiful garden, spacious rooms, delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Would be suitable for family with children.
Cons: New matresses would be good. We were "lucky" to stay there during the city festival, so there was loud music till 02:00 am.
Dependence Hotel Golf enjoys a quiet location next to the Gray Bear Holf Course in the Tale resort in the Low Tatras Mountain Range. Reception is situated in Hotel Stupka, set 150 metres away. The non-smoking rooms come with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Guests can use the restaurant and the spa area at Hotel Stupka, 150 metres away. 2 golf courses as well as the Tale ski slopes are 3 minutes' walk from the property. A high ropes course can be found 250 metres away, and the Chopok Juh Ski Area is 8 km away.
Pros: The environment, the breakfast.
Cons: The wellness closing early.
Pros: Beautifull area, we even saw deers in the forest next to the Hotel. Well heated. Ski slopes are close by, even got discount at Tale. The wellness in the main hotel is priceless after a cold day outside. Perfect for a budget ski or hike weekend.
Pros: the staff was excellent. helpful and welcoming
Pros: The hotel is located in a forest. We have view into forested mountain valley and golf course. Nights in the hotel are really quiet. The hotel golf dependence has no reception (in summer), you must visit Stupka hotel nearby. The breakfast is in the Stupka hotel and is excellent. It is 250m descending walk to the Stupka hotel, or you can use car. Parking in front of the hotel wasn’t problem. The WiFi is available in the hall, but it was available in our room too.
Located in the centre of Brezno, 2 km from the Low Tatras National Park, Apartmany Ďumbier offers a restaurant, as well as suites and apartments with free WiFi access. The Myto pod Dumbierom Ski Area is 10 km away. The apartment comes with a kitchenette and the suite has a balcony. Both units feature a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. The Tale Golf club is 16 km from Apartmany Ďumbier.
Pros: Appartment was basically equipped but good enough to be able to self-cater in the spacious appartment.
Cons: The establishment had a very smoky atmophere. Smoking is permitted in the bar but could still be smelt in the rooms upstairs.
Pros: It is located on the main square of the town, where there are shops & restaurants. We got a very large room with 2 balconies, a large bathtub in a new bathroom, and lounge room area. It was reasonably priced. There is a lift which is good if you have luggage. Our room was very quiet.
Cons: The hotel lobby is locked a lot of the time, so you need to walk through the local bar area to enter, full of cigarette smoke. We didn’t find an area where you could get food inside the hotel.
Pros: Probably the only hotel in Brezno accepting credit cards. It still keeps few pieces of former glory although the building strongly needs finantial input. Large room. Nice cafeteria.
Cons: I love these vintage hotels if they are well maintained but this is not the case. The hotel had to be fabulous before WW2 but nowadays, it is a mixture of former proudness, consequent destruction during communistic times and current cheap solutions. The building is in a quiet bad condition, shared areas are dusty, lack of maintanance is visible at every step. The room, however, was large and clean. I understand that much money would be needed for reconstruction which the building badly needs but currently, the price exceeds the quality and comfort. I can only cross my fingers and wish better future. It is really worth saving as a piece of history and legacy.
With a stay at Penzión Grand Bystrá in Bystrá, you'll be 24.5 mi (39.4 km) from Monument to the Fallen of World War II and 24.8 mi (39.9 km) from Ethnographic Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything was just really good, we will definitely come back to.
Cons: Food menu changes without notifications
Pros: The staff are very helpful and friendly. Some say the bads aren't comfy, but I think it has really good matrasses. It was extreme cold outside, maybe thats the cause of the room was a bit cooler than its ecpected. Good restaurant with local food and craft beers. To get full breakfast go early.
Cons: Heating doesn't work in the bathroom.
Pros: My 3 highlights: Staff willing to help, good beer, nice location.
Pros: Although the room wasn't ready when we arrived, the staff was very friendly and tried to make it as comfortable for us as they could. The food was very good and at a very reasonable price and the coffee made up for the bad night we had because of the thin matresses.
Cons: The matresses were very thin, so we practically slept on the slatted base. The room wasn't ready when we arrived, smelt like poo masked with cheap air freshener and when the room was 'ready', we still found a hair in the sink and stuff in the bin.
Pros: Staff was very nice and helpful. A little water stream and small playground were very nice.
Cons: Beds are not very comfortable. Very simple. Breakfast is simple.
Pros: Super staff, good price/value rate for food and beer You get what you expect. We liked it!
Cons: Ski room is cold, there is no ski boots dryer
Pros: Great and welcoming staff, friendly atmosphere, excellent value for money
Situated on the south side of the Low Tatras Nation park and set at the Tále Ski Area, Hostel Tale - Dom Horskej Sluzby offers accommodation in simply furnished rooms, a common fully-equipped kitchen and a restaurant. Free parking is possible on site and free WiFi is available as well. The rooms have shared bathroom facilities. A common lounge with a bar, meeting facilities and a fireplace can be found on the ground floor. Covered barbecue facilities with a seating area are also offers for all guests at Hostel Tale. Other facilities situated on-side include a ski school, ski rental, or a climbing wall. Garage parking is also possible. Hiking trails start just around the corner and the ski lifts of Tale Ski Area can be reached within 700 metres. Mýto pod Ďumbierom Ski Area is located 4 km away and Chopok Jasná-Srdiečko is reachable within 7 km.
Pros: Not much
Cons: The staff was extremely rude, selfish and totally not flexible. They close the main door at 22.00, we tried to call them around 21.00 multiple times that we will be a bit late, but they closed the door and it took 30 mins to reach their manager and get them open the door. And they were offended and treated us like prisoners. Ridiculous. Why didn’t they give the guests a key?! Or try to be nice. The rooms are from the 60s, super old and full of dead bugs on the walls, no private bathrooms or toilets. Breakfast had a 1-hour timeslot, but don’t be come after 40 mins, be on time, at 7.30, because we otherwise the lady will kill you. The place is more than an hour drive from the Tatras, which, even considering the price, not a good deal. We stayed here only because everything else was sold out.
Pros: price, staff willing to help, nice places around the hostel for camping (tents, campers)
Cons: strange welcoming by receptionist at check-in, kitchen with fridge running from 7 AM to 10 PM, shower allowed to use to 10PM, feel more like in a barracks due to rules
Pros: Nice Hostel, basic but very good value for the money.
Pros: Very nice hostel/hotel in the heart of the mountains, it is located in a forest but still very close to the main road. Thus it is very quiet, and the night is very relaxing. Consider this, it is at least 12-15 kms from the nearby bigger town Brezno. There is a large private parking too. Breakfast was on a reasonable price and it was delicious and nice. Staff is very friendly and flexible. As our plan was to hike up to Ďumbier, Chopok and Derese it was a very nice choice to stay here, Trangoška is only a 10 minute drive from here. I can totally recommend, I will definitely come back if it comes to the Low Tatras again :)
Cons: Bathroom was shared, but this is indicated when booking, so this is not a negative experience, but it's good to know :).
Pros: Spacious, clean rooms, facilities.
Cons: A bit more friendliness would have been nice.
Pros: Perfect location! Perfect place! Simplicity, hot water in the bathroom - what more could you want?
Pros: Very nice and friendly hosts :) nice and quiet neighbourhood
Cons: Wi-Fi only at the cantina
Pros: Price and location - if you are looking for a cheap place that is 10 minutes away from the ski lift, than this is it. Some members of the staff were helpful.
Cons: Service level - the staff treats guests with contempt and little respect (e.g. we were told to eat faster and not talk, because they need to clear the room for some party and were told off by the manager on multiple occasions). Utilities - broken shower handles, weak water pressure, battered fitting, unheated ski room (boots were still wet after two days) Organisation - as we were there, the owners organized a two-day party, which lasted past 3 A.M. and kept us awake or moved the time of the dinner +/- 2 hours without letting us know first. Food - cold breakfast, exactly the same everyday (bread + cheese + ham) - and bring your own tea, because they only serve weak, unidentified infusion (which they guard like a treasure won't let you take it out).
Situated in the town of Brezno and Low Tatras Nation Park starting within 2 km, Hotel Ďumbier offers accommodation in room, a 24-hour front desk, free WiFi available in public areas and free private parking possible on site. Each room at Hotel Ďumbier comes with a desk and a private bathroom with a shower or a bath tub. Meals can be enjoyed in the on-site restaurant. Other facilities offered at the property include meeting facilities and a daily maid service. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including cycling and hiking.
Pros: It was clean everywhere, I found everything what I read in the description before. There was a cozy elevator, I really enjoyed to use that. It remembers me to my childhood and made easier to carry the luggages. The corridor looks so modern with the led lighting in the wall.
Cons: The wifi was very bad. If somebody will go there for work and need internet, I can't offer. The heating was weak, you should turn up enough to made it comfortable at winter. I traveled there to watch biathlon, and I was all day long in the cold and snowfall, and one day the maid turned down the heating, and it was "fantastic" to arrive from the cold to the cold room. I mean I payed for heating too.
Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly and the hotel is located in the very center of the town.
Cons: This place needs refurbishment, that's for sure. All the doors look like someone was trying to break in, old fashioned interior from communist times.
Pros: The location of the hotel was in the center of the city, there were restaurants nearby. We went to skiing to Chopok which was quiet close to the city. The rooms were clean, the staff was kind and helpful.
Cons: Some of the equipment wasn't in a best shape, like the shower holder was broken or the doors was noisy. No breakfast or dinner option.
Pros: Small prices in bar downstairs.
Cons: Bad smell in rooms from bar downstairs (allowed to smoke inside). In room a lot of furniture was damaged like shower door (which won't shunt), trash bins and even room door had hole in it. Bathroom look just ugly. Only 1 of 4 administrators could speak in english. Elevator don't have inside door it's cool, but dangerous. Hotel is in centre of town, but town is full of gypsies and there is nothing to see in it. Hotel is cheap, but really not worth the price.
Pros: Close to main square and historic centre of the town. Good soundproofing of windows, so got a good night's sleep. Basic facilities, but clean room, comfortable. Excellent value for money. Was able to find several restaurants in the town square within a short walk.
Cons: Quite a long march from the main railway station in hot weather - much closer to Mesto station, but this has a much more limited train service. Not the fault of the hotel. Entries I saw suggested a traditional restaurant within hotel, but not available - not sure if that was because I was staying on a Sunday night.
Pros: Was clean and a large room.
Cons: Awful smell of old tobacco in the whole building. No shampoo/body wash. Room was not cleaned during my two-night stay. A bit weird that booking.com claimed that only their most expensive ”suite” was available, yet I did not see one other hotel guest.
Pros: Looked clean, good parking.
Cons: A bit old and some things broken but for the paid price still acceptable
Pros: Quiet place in the town center. Private parking.Nice breakfast. Pretty personnel.
Cons: Bad wifi. Only in reception area. Standard cable channels on TV with few of them in English. (You can switch from hungary audio to Czech or Slovak)
Pros: Room was ok clean and shower fine and good value.
Cons: In the coffee, bar area smoking was allowed and expensive.
