The Chateau Resort Conference Center is centered at the foot of Camelback Mountain in the heart of the Poconos. Guests have quick access to the Camelback Mountain Resort for great skiing or boarding as well as several other area attractions.

The resort offers 152 rooms including 37 lofted suites and mountainside rooms with breathtaking views of Big Pocono State Park. Rooms come with comforts such as free wireless internet, and climate control. Guests will enjoy a shower, complimentary toiletries and towels provided in the bathrooms.

Mountainview Bar and Grille offers guests an extensive menu with American, Italian and French cuisine. A plethora of other eateries are within a couple of miles of the hotel. Some options include Pizzeria Galeano's Pizza & Pasta and Barley Creek Brewing Company.

The Chateau Resort Conference Center helps guest enjoy a full range of amenities featuring indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center, whirlpool and sauna with spa services. It also has a tennis court and golf course accessible on site. Adjacent to the Camelback Ski Area, Camelback Waterpark and Camelback Mountain Adventures are also highlights for any guests that need a break from winter activities or just prefer a different type of activity.

Its conference center features 117,000 square feet of flexible event space across nine meeting rooms. Various hospitality suites and gathering spaces make the conference center an excellent choice for meetings, training, and social gatherings. The Chateau has a state of the art technology amphitheater as well as semi-private and private outdoor gathering areas that provide stunning views of Big Pocono State Park and Camelback Mountain.

Pros (+) Basic accommodation. Hotel is outdated but reasonably clean. Location is great in the Camelback area of Pocono. Well priced. I just stayed for one night to break up a long drive. Didn't use any of the facilities.

Pros (+) Location might be convinient for the ski resort across the lake.
Cons (-) Much older than what pictures show. Not very well maintained at all. beat up furnitures and no refrigerator in the room.
