Very cold, the heating was turned on after 10pm
There was good signage from the main road to the B&B.
We have not stayed in many B&B's in Europe, but this place was not worth the 60 Euros we paid. I will admit we didn't spend much time there, as we arrived at 22:00 and left around 08:00. But nothing we experienced made us want to stick around. It is between 2 tiny, very quiet villages (about 10 min drive to either). House and landscape is plain, has barely an ocean view. The bedroom was plain with cheap furniture, uncomfortable mattress and squeaky bed, tiny shower, towels that looked like my old beach towels, foam mats on the bathroom floor, overall cleanliness was fair. We did not pay or stay for breakfast so cannot comment on that. Owners wanted payment in cash.
With a stay at Knights Haven B&B in Tarbert, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of St Brendan's Church and Lislaughtin Franciscan Friary. Free self parking is available onsite.
