Superbly located along the Wild Atlantic Way, Castle View House sits on a scenic island among the very best of County Kerrys famed landscape. Highly recommended by Le Guide du Routard, its close to Ballybunion Golf Course and can provide early breakfasts especially for golfers. Evening meals are available also, cooked with fresh in-season produce from the houses own organic garden. Ideal for those looking to take on the rugged Kerry scenery, the house faces the historic ruin of Carrigafoyle Castle and is close to picturesque walks, fishing and outdoor pursuits.
Pros: Garrett was extremely welcoming and made the stay feel like being at home. Thanks so much to you and Patricia!
Pros: Friendliness, location, breakfast, knowledge of island , attentive
Cons: Pillows a little hard for our own preference
Pros: So close to castle Rooms were very comfortable and spacious Hosts were wonderful Excellent breakfast such a lovely location
Pros: This is a place you can choose, just for trying to be there. Close to a small castle you can and should visit. Really nice nature for a walk. Breakfast was made with care.
Pros: Great home cooked breakfast and they provide an evening meal if you choose.
Pros: Very good first impression, with the view of the castle and a little bridge that leads to a lovely and well kept house. The hosts are very welcoming and want to make sure that we have everything we need. The dinner was excellent: a delicious vegetable soup for starters followed by an excellent roast chicken with vegetables fresh from the garden and strawberries and ice-cream for desert.
Pros: It is a five star B & B all the way. Our hosts were very gracious. We would recommend to friends & family members.
Pros: The location is very charming. But beware that you'll have to drive 15-20min for a restaurant.
Cons: The house becomes noisy when the first guests start to wake up.
Pros: friendly people always available to support

Pros: Very freindly and helpful owners. Nice and clean 3 bed room, the breakfast was very good.
Pros: Location was perfect and lovely breakfast
Pros: Excellent location for the Shannon ferry. Near an excellent pub (The Old Brogue) which served very good evening food and was good value. Breakfast was good and the owners were welcoming & friendly.
Cons: A guest sitting room would have been nice.
Pros: Owners of the hotel are very kind, breakfast was very tasty. There is a pub nearby, where you can have dinner. And a ferry is very close, that makes it easier to go on the Dingle demi-island.
Pros: Very good location - a close to ferry. Clean and lovely house. Hosts are very nice and helpful. I can recommend this house for all people.
Pros: Friendly hosts, good breakfast, clean rooms, everything else OK
Pros: Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable room for family of five. Location next to ferry. Good, lical pub serving food just accross the road.
Pros: This B&B is located right off of the ferry, which made it convenient for our trip. Hosts were great and breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and nice.
Cons: Not much around it to walk to or do.

Adare is 42 km from Magpie Bar and B&B, while Doonbeg is 35 km from the property. The nearest airport is Kerry Airport, 55 km from the accommodation.
Pros: If you're looking for an authentic Irish pub B&B experience this is it. Great people. Also v close to Tarbert ferry.
Pros: The owner was very friendly and welcoming and his dog Joe was adorable.
Pros: Gerard and family are exelent hosts.
Pros: Lovely friendly family bright and spotless would have liked to have the option of full breakfast
Pros: A great nights craic genuine good people accommodation was a little dated but brought back childhood memories
Pros: The Magpie Public House and B&B is set in the picturesque village of Glin, a beautiful location along the River Shannon. It is family owned and operated, making a very warm temporary home for their visitors. It was a dream come true to stay in an old family home above a traditional Irish Pub. Glin is a wonderful place to visit, I only wish I would have allotted more time to explore.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: Loved the recommended nature walk.
Pros: Lovly staff, great apartment and good breakfast.
Pros: Phenomenal experience! The hosts were more than accommodating, catering to my 10 month old daughter and a food allergy. Gerald and Marie stayed up talking to us in the evening and pulled out a personal paper map to show us the best scenic route to take through to our next stop. We will definitely come back, the location was beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed the history of the pub across the street and getting to meet their dog Joey was a blast for our family! A true Irish pub/B&B experience, exactly what we had hoped for.
Cons: The only negative was there were few dining options open when we got to town around 8pm.
Pros: Lovely house, family were awesome. Their pub is across the road and that is really nice too.

Pros: Nice house and room
Cons: We had problem to find the house due to problem withvour garmin navigation. Koordinats were not ok!
Pros: Location and superb accommodation
Pros: Local knowledge of where best to eat was spot on.
Cons: Location is a bit of a distance from town, but the view across the Shannon Estuary is lovely.
Pros: Beautiful house, sparkling clean with a big comfy bed and modern en suite.
Pros: Being greeted by a friendly host & making us feel welcomed. The peaceful surroundings along with the lovely view from the front of the house looking across the fields. Our room was spacious, clean & well presented. We would recommend this place to other travellers. Wish the hosts all the best for the future & many thanks. Kevin & Jan New Zealand
Cons: Everything was fine so nothing to report.
Pros: Great value accommodation that provides cereal, fruit juice and yoghurt for breakfast. The bed is very comfortable. We found the hosts to be friendly including their dog!
Cons: A hook on the back of the bathroom door to hang the towel would be very helpful.
Pros: The room was very clean. The mattress was very comfortable. It had a nice bathroom which was very new and clean. The view of the river and cows was nice.
Cons: The sheets were scratchy and we had to sleep on the top sheet. The heating pad on the mattress was not needed for summer and you could feel the cord and controls. The bed pillows were too flat so we had to use the shammed pillows. The room was too hot and we needed to leave the windows open all night. When guests used their showers it was very loud in our room. There was no shower soap and no tea or coffee in the room as their website said. The host gave us dinner recommendations and the one we tried was not very good. It would be nice to have a list of restaurants in the room so we could google them first. The breakfast was just cold cereal, toast and yogurt along with tea and orange juice. The place over all was nice but we felt the owners did not go out of their way to make it special or make you feel very welcome. Compared to the other B&B’s we have stayed at in Ireland this one was lacking.
Pros: Friendly and helpfull people, quiet location in the farmlands, nice dog
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Pros: Beautiful house in the countryside! Peace & quiet! Room was spotless! Family dog greeted us upon arrival :) loved that he was so playful! Host was nice & explained everything also have us recommendations of where to eat! There is also front room with breakfast options for self service! Thank you!
Cons: I wished we could have stayed longer & gotten to know our hosts better apart from that nothing bad to say their place is lovely!
Cons: Very cold, the heating was turned on after 10pm
Pros: There was good signage from the main road to the B&B.
Cons: We have not stayed in many B&B's in Europe, but this place was not worth the 60 Euros we paid. I will admit we didn't spend much time there, as we arrived at 22:00 and left around 08:00. But nothing we experienced made us want to stick around. It is between 2 tiny, very quiet villages (about 10 min drive to either). House and landscape is plain, has barely an ocean view. The bedroom was plain with cheap furniture, uncomfortable mattress and squeaky bed, tiny shower, towels that looked like my old beach towels, foam mats on the bathroom floor, overall cleanliness was fair. We did not pay or stay for breakfast so cannot comment on that. Owners wanted payment in cash.
Located in Tarbert, The Lanterns Hotel is within a 15-minute drive of St Brendan's Church and Lislaughtin Franciscan Friary. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Food was very nice so was the pint of Guinness at 4-50euro
Cons: Couldn’t find any thing wrong.
Pros: really liked this hotel in the middle of nowhere the peace and quiet had the best nights sleep ever the hosts were great and both dinner and breakfast was amazing will definitely be back to stay here again
Cons: can't fault this hotel
Pros: The room was large and the bed was extremely comfortable. The owner and his family could not do enough for us.
Cons: The hotel has newly opened and the owner is trying to make it work, therefore it was quite at the hotel during our stay.A lovely man and I wish him and his family every success.
Pros: Great staff great food really enjoyed the hotel
Pros: Staff were very nice...
Cons: Room had lots of cobwebs around the table lamps, sure sign room not in use nor cleaned properly Clearly didn't have fresh or clean sheets on the bed but was too late at night before I noticed. Lots of hairs on them and they just felt damp or as they were put on a few days ago, unfortunately it was easier to sleep on top of bed.
Pros: Lovely evening meal and breakfast. Great hosts. Very interesting eclectic mix of other guests staying at Lanterns.
Cons: It is looking a bit unloved now. The rear of the property is untidy with cooking oil cans and a bit of rubbish outside. It is not flying about but it does look a bit messy. The corridor between the rear and the main living area needs a good lick of paint. Bathroom extractors are insufficient and mould is appearing on the ceiling in the bathroom. The extractors need to be on a timer.
Pros: Low on staff.... Food was excellent
Cons: They definitely need new mattresses...
Pros: The family that runs the place, were very friendly and very accommodating to our needs. I would definitely stay there again, if I head to that part of town.
Pros: Staff were very helpfull and friendly.
Cons: A bit run down, but they are tring to improve.
Pros: Clean bedroom and friendly staff.
Cons: Friendly staff
