9.5 Excellent
Pros: Delightful hosts - delightful location, excellent breakfast, perfect cleanliness. Lovely welcome with teas and cakes.
Cons: TV or radio
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and tasty. The whole experience was friendly but not fussy, generous, caring and thoughtful. The experience was restful, the atmosphere was very peaceful. I would recommend the Teme Valley Bed and Breakfast without reservation. The attention was genuine and unobtrusive. It was good to talk with our fellow guests and with our hosts.
Cons: I had not read the information properly so was probably expecting en suite facilities. It was entirely my own fault, if that is the right word; having said that the washing and lavatory situation were perfectly respectable in every way.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view, the hospitality, the view, the setting, the breakfast, the view, the comfort and the view.
Cons: It could be classed as Isolated and you need to be aware of this when planning meals out.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and welding hosts
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host was most welcoming lovely surprise tea home made cake on arrival. Made to feel at home which it was. Felt unreal watching tv in their sitting room. Bed comfortable and breakfast excellent. We will visit again.
Cons: Felt funny not having tv in room like other b and b we have stayed at.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and the bed comfortable, and the small bathroom also spotless and a great shower. The hosts were very helpful and charming and advised us of a great place to eat only a short drive away. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Parking was also very good we had a small camper and trailer no problem.
Cons: The room had no en-suite facilities and we had to walk across a large hallway with doors to other guest rooms which is not easy in the pitch dark. The room and bathroom had no door locks which we found a bit awkward re: security and privacy. Lastly though not too important no telly in the room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely couple where nothing is a problem. Stunning cooked breakfast and lovely quiet location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location amazing. Lovely welcome from our hosts. Room good size. Spotlessly clean. Had all we needed in terms of refreshments and amenities. Breakfast was fabulous. Tea and cake at the end of day 2 was also very welcome. Would thoroughly recommend.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Your hosts welcome you into their home, show you your room and then offer tea and cake. Marion and her husband are excellent hosts. The bungalow is in a quiet location affording you great views of the countryside. The breakfast is filling. I had yogurt with fresh fruit followed by a cooked meal of bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast and delicious scrambled egg, accompanied by tea and apple juice. There are lots of homemade jam and marmalade plus there is cereal if you want it. My room was spacious. Wifi is available. A good base to visit all the local tourist attractions
Cons: The en suite facilities were a bit cramped

The breakfast were superb with ample choice. including a lovely fresh fruit platter. Food was cooked fresh and made to your choice of full english as well as other options.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed here twice before in a different room. The staff are very friendly & helpful, the food is excellent. Location is ideal for us as we have family nearby.
Cons: Unfortunately we found the bed uncomfortable. Maybe it's time for a new mattress. This certainly wasn't our experience on previous visits, so it wouldn't put us off staying here again.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was really good with fresh local produce and an excellent choice of cooked food. We loved the room which was comfortable, very clean and full of character. The staff and locals made us very welcome and there was a good choice of real ale which was reasonable priced and the best cider I have ever tasted. Our evening meal was also very good and there was plenty of choice for all tastes including a good vegetarian selection.
Cons: I suppose from the photographs, I was expecting a pub in a country location with a nice garden to sit in. I was a little bit surprised by the location which wasn't quite the romantic wedding anniversary setting I was expecting.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The food is amazing!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely friendly staff, the accommodation was compact but very good really. Lovely breakfast included in price. Really nice bar staff, much appreciated the friendly chat. Good to have free parking too.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room comfortable bed, good shower, nice and quiet
Cons: Nothing wrong
6.8 Good
Cons: The bar meals were overpriced for what we got.
7.5 Good
Pros: The team running the Rose & Crown were very friendly and the service was very good. We ate in the restaurant on the Saturday evening and were aware that there would be a wait as the meals were all cooked to order and it was very busy. The service and food was excellent. There was plenty of choice on the menu. The portion size was good.
Cons: Location - the Rose & Crown is on the very busy A456 and it was like being on a Grand Prix circuit. Tractors, motor bikes, lorries and cars all saw it as an opportunity to test the performance of their mode of transport and hurtle around the bend. It was very noisy. The mattress in the room had seen better days and needs replacing. Internet was very slow, almost non existent. The breakfast was very disappointing. I had read the reviews where guests had stated that the breakfast was very good. Not so for us. Very small portions.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: everything, especially the extra touches - bottled water, hot chocolate, homemade biscuits, additional toiletries etc
7.7 Good
Pros: The whole experience. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The staff and food were excellent and the rooms were furnished to the highest standard
Cons: It would be very hard to find any fault with this hotel!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room with terrace. Good wifi. Generous breakfast. Good size swimming pool. Lovely view over the lake. Ideal setting for a quiet relaxing break. Ample parking. Safe environment. Friendly staff. Good range of food on menu for dinner.
Cons: The soup was cold, but the cook apologised and reheated it. Breakfast service was slow. No mobile signal. The electric shower was difficult to regulate, kept going too hot or cold.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly, the room was clean and the location by the lake was fantastic and beautiful.
Cons: The room had a strong highly perfumed smell, which was rather unpleasant. The windows had fixtures which meant that they could not be opened more than a fraction. The decor was also strange ( for example, the shower had extremely large buttons on, and the toilet and bed were very high). Overall, it became clear that this hotel had recently been some sort of home for elderly residents and then converted - but only lip service had been paid to the conversion, which was a real shame. Finally, when checking out, the staff were unsure as to whether we had paid and asked us to check through our bank statements to find out!

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Really excellent - just 2 suggestions: - I really like a pot of tea at breakfast tea was plentiful but would have preferred or at table - a map of the 50 acres with suggested walks would have been great

Pros: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cadmore Lodge: the setting is beautiful, with my own terrace overlooking the lake. The food was very good, although the menu was somewhat limited- breakfast was great! The swimming pool was an additiuonal bonus- warm and peaceful. Every staff member was friendly and helpful and the outside area was an additional bonus for a sunny afternoon. I fully intend to go to cadmore Lodge again in the not-too-distant future

Pros: The friendly welcome and efficient staff were a delight. The food, both evening meal and breakfast, was far and above initial expectations; it was first class. Almost as important was the selection of real ales.
