5.5 Okay
Pros: Location was good. Convenient and centre of everything.
Cons: The hotel is definitely overpriced. I was told that our hotel room was one of the best but when we checked in to our room, it wasn’t what we expected. Facilities were old, staffs were not friendly, we asked for room service and took a long time to receive what we asked for. Location is good but not worth the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we pulled up to the curb, this hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is phenomenal, the staff went above and beyond, and the room is enormous but cozy. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Cons: The pillows were the only complaint.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a nice large room to the backyard and no noise from the street. Also, the location was perfect for exploring old city of Montreal as well as the famous Basilica in the morning when it is almost empty.
Cons: The doors to the floor allow lot of noise to come in.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly staff
Cons: Not enough coat hangers in wardrobe.
9.0 Excellent

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location in Old Montreal next to Basilique Norte Dame de Montreal, attentive staff, nice facility including access to a off site small gym and the small kitchenette with microwave, stove top and mini refrigerator. Plates, cups, utensils and a small pot provided. Everything you need for a wonderful stay.
Cons: Street noise on some nights if your room is facing the street
6.8 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The bed is small and uncomfortable. Sofa bed is very hard and you can feel the coil on your back. Corner of the room has huge spider webs. The balcony is facing the restaurant courtyard. We have to close all our curtains most of the time. Feel disappointed.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. Right beside Notre Dame and walking distance to everything in Old Montreal. We were upgraded to a larger suite which was lovely. Separate living room with windows that opened on to the garden. Staff friendly and helpful. Reasonable $
Cons: Nope - wish we were there for more than one night.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The position is simply amazing... located on the historic district of Montréal. The structure was beautiful and very attractive. It was like being in a 5 star luxury hotel in the center of Paris. The room was a very spacious suite with a comfortable and even more spacious bathroom. Convenient kitchenette for every eventuality. Nespresso coffee was the icing on the cake for those like me who love Italian espresso. The very friendly and prepared staff was available at any time for any eventuality. 9.3 Excellent
Pros: Greeting was fabulous and personal, with more than one welcome surprise. I found the staff unfailingly friendly, gracious, and guest-observant. Wonderful location near the fabulous Musee de Beaux Arts. Stunning lobby and Palm Court, elegant rooms with every imaginable amenity.
Cons: Whilst I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, my breakfast had just a shade less of a wow factor than some other aspects of my overall wonderful experience. The food area seemed slightly underattended and the presentation was functional rather than ornamental.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
7.0 Good
Pros: Service is excellent and very responsive
Cons: Motion sensors that cause lights to go on in the middle of the night when you get up to go to the bathroom, and can't be disabled without a visit from maintenance. We had just arrived from the UK and when the lights went on at 2:00 am that was the end of my night of sleep. Very unhappy about that (as they now know). Who wants someone else to decide to turn on lights for you? I could have quite easily navigated to the bathroom by the ambient light from the light switches (already quite bright) and didn't need some nanny state turning lights on for me so I don't stumble in the "dark"
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Café Boulud, the rooms, the bathroom, the service
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing experience. Facilities were first class, and the staff couldn't do enough for us.
Cons: Only wish there was an on site spa. However the concierge arranged am appointment for me at a nearby spa.

Cons: Spa was only open by appointment so no fitness or spa services were experienced. The hitel restaurant was good but not great although it was impeccably styled and the wait staff were wonderful. Menu could use more options

Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pictures are very true to how M Montreal is. The staff was nice and incredibly helpful, the hostel itself is set up in a great location with two metro stations within walking distance. The rooms and beds are clean and they offer daily activities for guests. Will definitely stay here again if I ever find myself back in Montreal!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I randomly had a former roommate get booked into my room. That was wild.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was convenient and close to a couple of places that had free open air music either in the evenings or on the Sunday for example. It was very clean and well designed to give privacy to the third person in our family room
Cons: There are a lot of drug addicts in the close vicinity who display a lot of eccentric behaviour. Having said this we didn't feel unsafe at any point. Breakfast is very basic and on the second day the begels hadn't arrived before we had to leave (and the bread was the most budget looking of breads - as was the jam and peanut butter). No doubt this is an exception but a group of about 10 men staying at the hostel (on a stag party?) made lewd comments out very loud about my 20 year old daughter as we were walking across the courtyard, which was a very disagreeable start to our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, clean atmosphere and loads of things to do. Great location and the roof top was great
Cons: Sleeping in a room of 10 was quite frustrating with having one shower room, if I was to stay again I would choose a dorm with 4 beds other than that the hostel was perfect.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: There is a new guy in the M Cafe. I have an issue with him. S balding guy that treated men like a cr8mibsl for smoking cannabis in the smoking area. Canibis is legal it is to be treated like Tabasco. I was offended a0bd said I was going to file a complaint. Shortly after me and my friend who complied to live simply to not caused a scene he ran back said I just spoke with the owner which was hogwash and said this was our policy. I never been do degraded for doing something legal. Eighter move or closed the smoking section. Canibis is legal in Canada.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: On check out I asked about ordering a taxi to the airport and the staff advised me instead to take a bus that was just around the corner, saving me time and money, very helpful!
5.0 Okay
Pros: It's a new/newly renovated buildings.
Cons: Staff refused to change my room after I found out that it smelled bad. (#1 that ticked me off) !4 beds in one room is way too much. Mattress had a dip in the middle from over use. Breakfast was toast, butter, jam, peanut-butter, cold boiled eggs & cereal. NO CHEESE! (#2)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed in a 6 bed dorm. I really liked how the bed had different storage spaces and the curtains provided privacy. Room was big enough to accommodate six people. Having an en-suite with an extra shower room was very convenient. It's a busy hostel, many places to lounge around and a great way to meet people. Location is top notch too!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The decoration, the whole facility is fantastic and very clean, the location couldn't be better, staff's very nice, the Cafe is affordable and delicious.
Cons: Only my snoring roommate
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is excellent. Very modern building. Beds are confortable. Showers very big and super clean. In the middle of the gay village. Close to metro station
Cons: Only the towels are like paper. But you can use as many as you want
5.5 Okay
Cons: I think you shouldn't advertise "breakfast included" when all you do is get some cold bagels and hard boiled eggs from the grocery store next door. That is not breakfast, sorry :(

Pros: Comfortable bed, great shower! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Sam helped with our bags and was very friendly answering all our questions about the area. Food and service at the Japanese restaurant was awesome.
Cons: Wish our room had a nicer view- mostly a brick wall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has character. The room was more a loft than a hotel room. The shower was amazing. There was a billiards room. The location was across the street to the ND cathedral. The staff was very friendly and always smiling.
Cons: The elevator was a bit slow but the stairs were fast!
10.0 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved this hotel! In great proximity to everything Old Montreal and only 10 minutes by taxi to the heart of the city. The staff was awesome!
Cons: Our room had a lot of street noise. The hotel was accommodating to help fix the issue. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel is very convenient location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The moment we got there the doorman got our bags from the taxi before I had even got out of the taxi amazing service all the time!
Cons: Nothing it was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast.
Cons: In the middle of the historic area
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the rooftop terrace.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooftop bar was out preferred hangout, great for warm summer nights. The location is right in the heart of Old Montreal and close also to the ‘Main’. The suites with the sofa bed are especially well suited for families with larger children, ask for the rooms on the 7th floor, they are great. There is a Nespresso machine in the room. The staff is super friendly.
Cons: Their website is lousy but booking.com makes up for that. The housekeeping team sometimes needed a reminder when we called them, but all in all we were really very satisfied. Probably best for leisure, not business.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location steps away from the Notre-Dame Basilica in Old Montreal. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay providing us terrific service. We enjoyed the champagne they gave us to celebrate a special birthday! The rooftop terrace in Building 1 is wonderful with great sunset views, and our rooms (two deluxe king rooms) in that building were lovely and comfortable.
Cons: The lighting was a bit dim, especially for reading at night. It would be great to be able to control the lights on each side of the bed (separate light fixtures) separately. But, otherwise, a lovely room.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Room darkening window shade.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, comfortable bed, and quiet. The bar is cool too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Top-notch hotel with impeccable service, truly courteous and helpful staff; everything was excellent.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, room and the staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, great rooftop bar, superb room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Located in the heart of everything. Nice lobby, reception area and very attentive valet and concierge. Everyone was helpful, but these staff went above and beyond I would rate this property about a 9 even though my numbers turned out differently above
Cons: Very loud outside the windows early in the morning, at first I thought it was construction and then realized it was trash pickup. Woke me every morning. The large, hot tub in our bathroom was a great size but a little weird and noisy with all the bubbles and randomly was difficult to turn on and then off.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, staff great, room was great.
Cons: A little more information in the room , ie breakfast menu and times, their next door restaurants, which we did not use but probably should have.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff did an exceptional job in accommodating our needs. Very delightful.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location was perfect - right in the heart of old Montreal and within walking distance of major attractions.
Cons: The hotel was very expensive. Considering the high price of the room, it would have been more enjoyable if the hotel provided a complimentary continental breakfast, and had better amenities like a pool and a larger gym.
7.0 Good
Pros: Attentive staff and comfy bed
Cons: Waited for an hour to check in late in afternoon; bedroom door sensor was broken and erratic; spent a large amount of my short vacation time discussing this with various maintenace staff just to get into room each time. I happened to be on on a tight schedule and my rest time was cut short by these issues. It was disappointing as I was really looking forward to the time relaxing and I normally don’t spend this much on a hotel. I’ve had better experiences in much more affordable hotels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Character of hotel and front desk staff were helpful and friendly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is worth every penny. Lovely character that suits the old port of Montreal. Excellent service as well. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. I would definitely stay again.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Overall - great property to explore old town. Everything in walking distance. Staff very attentive.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Hubby gave me a two night stay at the Auberge du Vieux-Port in Montreal for a Christmas present. It couldn’t have been better. We arrived on a Monday and after a bit of difficulty finding a place to park, checked in. The hotel staff were simply amazing. Every one from the cleaning staff to the valet were probably the most accommodating and kind and gave the impression that they really liked their jobs. We were surprised with a room upgrade to a king river view on the fifth floor-#503-ask for it. Ultra clean, very comfy bed, coffee maker in room and good toiletries. A HUGE shower with multiple jets no tub though but that was fine with us. The hotel has a bar pub that serves up pub fare. I had an excellent burger and great thin fries and hubby had the fish and chips. Both were quite large portions and the staff cheerfully accommodated some changes and ommisions. The best part is that the hotel is located centrally in Vieux-Port Port and between Isle de la Commune road and the famous and beautiful Rue St Paul. Fabulous restaurants and shops made it difficult to choose. Parking is off site and costs 25$ per night to self park or $35 for valet parking in a covered garage. We loved every minute in spite of the bone jarring cold and snow.....it just made it more magical. We will definitely be back!
Cons: Offsite parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were especially helpful in identifying restaurants and bars to visit.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location to get about.
Cons: A little bit touristy being next to the main square. Restaurants there overpriced and food average. Better in Plateau or Mile End.
7.0 Good
Pros: Bathroom
Cons: *Bugs in room *Didn't explain their no smoking policy. Charged us $300 * Valet took forever

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Never and never book this hotel, they aren't flexible at all!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, short walking distance to Old Montreal. Very clean and modern hotel! The pool was a welcome bonus. My son forgot his iPad charger in the room when we checked out and Aurora from the housekeeping department was so helpful over the phone. She had it sent to us through the hotel’s FedEx service and helped to arrange a lower fee than the expensive overnight service the website kept directing me to. Much appreciated!
Cons: Nothing, it was a perfect one-night stay
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Extraordinary front desk service. Allowed us to check In early. Had great recommendations for restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Roll- In shower: Expected a Manuel Wheelchair for a disabled person. Did not “trust setting on the unstable table”. (Did Not Like)
Cons: See above !!!”
7.5 Good
Cons: I didn’t like to pay for parking I’m a hotel guest I shouldn’t have to pay for parking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has such a wonderful interior as is such a statement-setting glass exterior. The suite was very spacious and comfortable for the best night's sleep. Modern-day aesthetic has been very pleasant to see! The staff have been very attentive to my needs and have gone the extra mile to save my life as a DJ by providing me a cable that I had forgotten -- usually, the cable is not something you would easily "whip out of a storage room."
Cons: The parking lot was really tight. This should come as a warning to those who drive a long vehicle, such as a Chevrolet Suburban, because, despite whatever turning radius, your vehicle may rub into a column and, in turn, can do extensive damage to the vehicle body.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location. The staff are super helpful. Teri at breakfast even remembered our order! The food in the restaurant is delicious! The beds are super comfy. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We love our stay in AC by Mariot Hotel. The place is so clean and we really like the wood flooring and the shower room. The view is fantastic. And also we enjoy the swimming pool and the whirlpool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, parking a breeze. The pool, Jacuzzi and sauna were excellent. The pool especially was really nice as it was quite large.
Cons: Couldn't book another night as they were completely sold out. :(
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in perfect location what is the most important when we travel. Bed was comfy, our room and other spaces clean, food tasty and the staff...The staff was AMAZING! Me and my husband travel a lot and I mean a lot (few trips to Europe and several trips in US) and this was the friendliest staff we have ever experienced. Every single person, we tried to think about anyone who wasn’t and nope-they are all amazing. Our favorite was James (waiter at the restaurant) such nice and very knowledgeable gentleman. Will definitely come back!!!
Cons: Parking should be included in the room price plus breakfast was a bit pricey for a simple bufete.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Amenities. Large room. Roomy bright bathroom. Nice shower. Nespresso in room.

5.7 Okay
Pros: The completed aspects of the hotel is beautiful. Fast service if requesting additional items. Valet took care of the car well. Nice assortment of toiletries. The hotel is new and the room was clean. Note: this hotel is under construction. Spoke both English and French.
Cons: The service was not great. Room was not serviced during one of the days so we re used towels etc The breakfast in the morning had one waiter to turn over used tables. I had no tea cup to get tea or coffee, not even a water glass. So, I just didn’t drink anything. After my first bite of bread, I noticed my fork was smeared with what looked like yogurt (I hope)so I ate the rest with my fingers because there was no one around for service and all the other tables looked used. The room was also cold. Failed attemp to make the room 223 warmer

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, especially Luigi the fabulous Concierge.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel rooms were large, bright and very comfortable. Bathroom was large, clean and very good shower. The lobby, restaurant and other common areas were attractive and upscale. The staff was attentive and friendly.
Cons: The one big problem was the lack of soundproofing of the hotel rooms, as noise (music, TV and voices) from adjacent rooms were very noticeable. Also, the Concierge service was not at the level of a typical 4-star/5-star hotel (less helpful or action-oriented).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Evert thing was Great and friendly

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good position, the entire building has a contemporary and super nice design, good breakfast with many choices
6.8 Good
Pros: Just the location.
Cons: Room was okay. It’s definitely not worth the price per night. If it wasn’t for the location, this hotel would just be okay. Also, it would be great if the hotel had free parking considering the price for the room.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location, a 10min walk to main restaurant streets, port and shopping area and 5min to Notre Dame. Large rooms with comfortable bathroom, big shower which was great.
Cons: No warm breakfast (eggs, bacon etc).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The water in the shower could have been warmer (it was not bad, just not super hot) and the breakfast essentially only consisted of bread (again, it was good, just more variety could have been better).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful front desk
Cons: Room was comfortable but seemed under furnished.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, good breakfast selection, I booked a junior suite ... plenty of room for 2 of us, beautiful, sleek modern bathroom and room. Bonus nightlight in the bathroom!
Cons: It was expensive as compared to other times of the year but it is high tourist season. I have stayed here during the winter and it is much cheaper.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great decor! Simple, clean lines and well appointed. Very quiet! Loved the bathroom setup. Beautiful! It was also wonderful having our own Mac computer in the room. Very thoughtful.
Cons: Needed a bit more space to put folded clothing. Would have liked an option for decaf coffee. Also staff could have done better directing us to interesting parts of town which we only discovered the day before leaving.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is well located and very nice. It is 1/2 block to the metro, 3 blocks to China Town, 4-6 blocks to the river and really just 2.5 to Old Montreal. Our first night there we watched the fireworks over the bridge, perfectly framed in one of our rooms window. It is a great location to start your tour of the city!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities! Clean and modern rooms, comfortable beds, perfect location in Old Montreal. Walking distance to everything we wanted to explore! Nice complimentary breakfast!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, safety with keying into elevator, computer in room, breakfast, modern decor

Pros: Everything as expected. Room was a good size, and comfortable with lots of natural light. Staff friendly and helpful. We read reviews suggesting request for room on a higher level, and from 14th floor had no issues with noise.
Cons: Room service menu quite limited.

Pros: Updated and clean. In a great location.
Cons: Would prefer parking was not valet
7.0 Good
Pros: Room was modern and clean
Cons: Front desk staff was useless helping with bags from truck and helping with parking my vehicle.Small gym.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location and cleanliness.
Cons: The staff at the front desk were not well prepared especially when we were leaving, they took a cash deposit and took over a half hour to get it when I had a train to catch. Plus they should have water in the room instead of providing it at the front desk occasionally.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were great. Starting with the car park attendant who came to greet me from the roadside. The counter person gave me an excellent room when I asked for a street-view room. My room with the panoramic view was amazing. Love the location being so close to St. Cath. street. I didn't use my vehicle again until I checked out. The fireplace was a nice touch. Great stay in Montreal.
Cons: The blinds didn't go all the way down nor was it wide enough to cover the window so a lot of light leaks at night. Not a big deal but it's the little things. Can't close the curtains for some reason.
6.8 Good
Pros: Pool was great
Cons: Breakfast could be included.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, room (especially bed and tub), and staff. I’d definitely stay here again.
Cons: Pool is quite small - not really any place to lay out.

Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile is conveniently located in the heart of the city ideal for business travelers and art lovers - at the foot of lush Mount Royal Park, next to the renowned McGill University and Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Enjoy the masterful blend of minimalist design and warm sophistication at our luxury hotel embellished with Victorian accents from the estate of North American railroad pioneer William Cornelius Van Horne.
7.5 Good
Pros: I liked the location
Cons: The hotel needs a renovation as soon as possible
5.8 Okay
Pros: Parking access. Lobby nice but noisy. Food at Renoir was excellent. I thanked the chef and congratulated the very good restaurant manager.
Cons: The speed of delivery for things you ask. Which wastes slot of time of a tourist. The Renoir is excellent restaurant as mentioned above but first day every one was great but second day the waitress was very bad. It’s took 50 minutes to deliver breakfast, we were late for our next activity. Parking access was very good but bit slow. Reception people also not consistent in helping. Some are good. The people who come for room cleaning and room check can do much better job. Therefore overall I think I this hotel needs to be consistent in delivering services. I accepted the rate when I booked due to brand name, but the from above mentioned feedback I think highly priced.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent
Cons: Should leave room in refrigerators for patrons to store fruit
7.0 Good
Pros: Quiet comfort of the room, the bath room is well appointed and easy to use. The restaurant closed at 2200 so I missed dinner! Staff are always very agreeable and service oriented.
Cons: Could run bar / lighter fair menu after restaurant closes.

Pros: Very very high quality experience. Phone chargers built into bed end tables, nice sound system, bathroom was gorgeous.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Le Crystal Montreal, you'll be centrally located in Montreal, within a 5-minute walk of Sainte-Catherine Street and The Underground City. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, limo/town car service, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Montreal? This hotel has facilities measuring 6000 square feet (557 square meters), including a conference center.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location of the hotel and facilities (swimming pool and jakuzzi). Room facilities are above the standard in Montreal. The design of the toilet is following European style rather American style in other hotels of the same category.
Cons: I prefer a different breakfast system with self-service instead of restaurant. Fridge was full of minibar stuff. We had to remove it temporarily during our stay in order to store our items.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best location in downtown Montreal! Great pool and sauna on the 12 floor!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Huge room, sitting area and kitchen area which was really good. Nice big bathroom with bath and shower, really comfortable. Swimming pool was nice, and outdoor jacuzzi with sitting area also really good.
Cons: Location a little far away from old town and major attractions, but still within walking distance. A bit expensive. We didn't fancy the restaurant on site or the on-site Starbucks for breakfast, but Cafe Imagination next door really good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location and roof top jacuzzi put this hotel experience over the top!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities, professional staff, personalized service, location, way above level of other 5 star hotels in the area. And a nice upgrade! Highly recommend!
Cons: Nothing so far!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked that it is kid friendly (and the kids bathrobes! This was typed by our daughter). The concierge staff - Felipe and Lydia- were so nice and helpful. We would definitely come back! Doug and Eugenia.
Cons: We loved everything
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff so kind and friendly! Huge rooms.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast very good; fresh fruit, eggs, etc. worth including with room price.
Cons: The refrigerator is not food-grade. Only cold enough for drinks.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room! Clean & comfortable. Great service
Cons: Valet parking was amazing but should be included in room fee
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Service, location, comfort, bed, quiet, staff
Cons: Hot water pressure was almost non existent-- in shower, bath, and sink. Staff was ready to help; however, I didn't notice this until late at night on my one night stay. Wouldn't normally be a huge deal but the luxurious bathroom is what made me choose this hotel over two other similar contenders. Additionally, HBO was the only channel that didn't work. Not sure if they advertise having HBO on the website, but it was on the channel guide and didn't have any service.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Great location, spacious room: nicely decorated, well equiped and cozy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious swimming pool
Cons: My wife thought the bathtub was not perfectly clean (but she’s a freak). The airco was difficult to adjust (either too cold or not cold enough)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Starbucks and restaurant downstairs are excellent. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are extremely attentive. Everything was perfect.

6.3 Good
Pros: -room a decent size -the location was okay, alot of construction going on when i was there for my stay -clean room and comfy bed -staffs were friendly
Cons: -the price was way too much for a small room -valet was overpriced -when parking out back in the available lot ; my car got towed, as they claimed that even if ticket paid , it is only valid until 6am, which is ridiculous as there's no sign indicating anything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect room, clean and quiet with a comfy bed! And a great location... would definitely recommend. Excellent value!
Cons: Nothing...
5.5 Okay
Pros: The breakfast is good but you have to wait for over 10 minutes to be served because they are too busy.
Cons: The room is quite small and the view outside the window is awful.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: very cheap, loud, expensive and dark hotel. I would not pay even 10% of what I paid for it. A
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were more than friendly and made every attempt to help our needs and wants.
Cons: Not much to criticise, there isn’t a pool or spa is the only criticising I can think of.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I had to be in the Palais de Congres for business, and the hotel was perfectly situated for that. The old downtown city centre was also very close to the hotel. There was a shuttle bus from the airport to a bus stop very close to the hotel, which was also very easy. The robot room service is a nice touch, although it was not possible to order anything more than a sandwich. There is a little to go-shop in the lobby, where you can get some quick food if you're in a hurry.
Cons: The room is a bit small, and the layout is a bit weird (entrance through the bathroom). However, as I was in Montreal for business, I was alone and away for the most time, so I wasn't really bothered by this. There is no breakfast buffet, so if you want to have breakfast at the hotel you have to sit down and order - so it was not possible to grab a quick breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy checkin/checkout. Able to put a bottle of wine for us in the room ahead of time.
Cons: Technology for TV's was hard to use and unresponsive.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: the gym was good. The location was convenient - close to many places for visiting: Chinatown, port, notre dame etc. The staff was polite. The room was clean.
Cons: The room was small. The sink was outside the bathroom due to lack of space. This was noisy during the night. The breakfast was a la cart so you are allowed only one plate. Anything more was extra. It was rather confusing because it had on the menu that you can have coffee and juice but if by any chance you ask for fresh juice that was extra $5.50 but it was not clear that fresh juice was not in the menu. Besides that everything in the menu had eggs or it was sweet. Parking was rather expensive ($35/day plus taxes) and there was not an easy access to it, unless someone from the staff was with you.
7.0 Good
Cons: Very small room
6.8 Good
Cons: Parking prices overboard.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the self-check-in / check-out option. The kiosk prints your room keys. There was no need to wait in line. If you need assistance, however, there’s a staffed service desk. The design concept of the entire hotel is minimalist and modern. Almost everything is black, and I found the corridors a little creepy because the lighting was quite dim. I like it though. I stayed in the Monville Suite. It was a corner room with floor to ceiling windows on all exterior walls. I was on the 7th floor so the view wasn’t anything spectacular. If you need to sleep in or want more privacy, there are electric blackout curtains that you can raise and lower using a set of switches next to the bed. I had trouble getting them to work though. At some point after flipping switches all over the room they started working. It seems there was a master power switch near the entrance. The bed was king size, and it was super comfortable! I slept in a few days, and it was lovely. The washroom was nice. There was only a shower. It had a rain shower head, and there was also a hand / detachable shower head. I thought the toiletries were rather basic for such an expensive room. The tissues and toilet paper were like sandpaper. The soap, shampoo, conditioner, body gel, and lotion were nothing special. The hotel was very high-tech. The room had two large flatscreen TVs, one in the bedroom area and another in the living room area. Using the TV you could do things like order a taxi or food. The food selection was mostly sandwiches though, but the cool thing was that robots deliver it to your door! The TVs had a decent selection of channels, but if you had a Netflix account you could log in and watch it too. You could also connect to and stream content from your smart device! Finally there was a small refrigerator which for me is a must-have. I kept it stocked with pops and beer. Above the refrigerator there was a Nespress machine which was great!
Cons: The air conditioning in my room didn’t work very well. It was really hot in Montreal during the week that I stayed. Eventually I asked them to bring me a fan, and that helped a lot. Again not what I would expect from such an expensive hotel.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was excellent, the location very central, good gym
Cons: Breakfast was awful, service a bit slow overall in the hotel. Roadworks all around the hotel (and everywhere in Montreal)-make accessibility by car rather painful
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent! Complimentary breakfast was delicious, with bacon, eggs, little potatoes, smoothies, fruits, all sorts of breads, (bagels, English muffins, etc.), viennoiseries, cereals, etc. Asian restaurant adjacent was a bonus. Nice bar-restaurant on top.
Cons: Family of 5, Important to know: not cots/rollaway beds are allowed in double rooms. your little one will have to sleep with you :) or find another alternative. There is no parking on spot, so you will have to park accross the street yourself at Indigo Parkings 28$ or pay 35$ for valet to park it there for you. The bassin on the terrace is a basin, not a pool! A basin in this case is like a jacuzzi, only longer. My 7 year old son liked it because his feet touched the bottom, but it's right next to the people eating at the restaurant, therefore No Splashing allowed!! It's a beautiful place, and although we did not spend much time at the hotel except for sleeping, I do not consider this a family hotel.

Pros: Breakfast is very good with choices. Location is good! very near to main shopping and restaurants.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: - Room was clean, mattress, bed comforter & sheets were comfortable - Staff was friendly - Restaurant downstairs was great - Very trendy/modern hotel - Good location
Cons: I didn't like how breakfast wasn't included in your stay. I paid $1,000+ USD and had to pay to eat breakfast on top of it. Was hoping it'd be included to save some $$. It was Grand Prix weekend & hotel fares were through the roof (understandably so). To better accommodate visitors, include breakfast in stay. Even if you offer a certain package where breakfast is included.

7.0 Good
Pros: The room and hotel appearance were clean and comfortable.
Cons: The information provided in our room about the use of anything in the room (telephone, computer, TV) was non-existent. There was also no information in the room about nearby facilities (metro, restaurants, and the like). The morning buffet was passable but not special.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The ambiance was modern and well appointed....value for money....staff attentive Would return for sure!

Cons: Price was higher than when I booked
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location to use the Montreal subway. Free parking and free breakfast. Nice and clean rooms, smiling faces.
Cons: No restaurant around but it did not matter
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room and friendly staff. Good in-room facilities (massive tv, Apple Mac, coffee machine) and a very comfortable bed. Near the highway, but had good windows so I couldn’t hear a thing.
Cons: Breakfast was vary basic, I stayed for 6 nights, so the limited options soon became a little reparative!! The air-con also seemed erratic, one night I couldn’t turn it off, and the temperate control seemed to make no difference!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Liked the location, easy access. Hotel staff very friendly, breakfast was above average
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities close to metro station quiet area
Cons: Breakfast area can get really busy in the mornings, only protein offered are hard boiled eggs
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location at an easy walk to the terminus of Montreal Metro. Very nice breakfast: French (e.g.croissants and beans) rather than typical USA style. Overall very clean and comfortable.
Cons: On one of two visits, the room's alarm clock didn't work correctly (one could not set the alarm time). The price seemed a bit on the high side - this was once an excellent economical hotel. It's still excellent, but not so economical now.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The cleaning staff was very helpful and kind. The rooms were nice and welcoming. Looks like the rooms have been recently redone. I enjoyed the newspaper each morning and the complementary water bottles.

Pros: I liked the doormen.
Cons: The room, lighting, heating, curtains etc. was controlled by a door panel ludicrously complicated, and a toilet and shower that were also tech controlled. The room was not cleaned by 6 pm despite us being out all day and no managers were there to be seen, either to take control or ownership. Dinner was expensive and very average, And to cap it all, our TV didn't work for 3 nights!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing loft-like room in a beautiful old building with a really nice bar/restaurant. Everything here just feels quality - really well done.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: almost everything
Cons: noise from outside
5.0 Okay
Pros: The beautiful Victorian building, the high standing furniture of the rooms (Toto bidet toilet!) & the location. The concierge was the highlight of our stay (!). He was very friendly and did all he could to help us.
Cons: This is just a quick summary. The # of characters are limited. TLDR: The service was very sub-par for a 5-star hotel, closer to a 2 or 3-star. Avoid it! Room amenities: They tried to impress by offering a lot of them but most are useless (and then be re-used at no cost for the next guest, so they looked like that at least) Sadly, the useful one are missing: ie. they give a toothbrush & a razor, but no sponge for the spa shower, near the awesome bathtub two champagne glasses but no bottle. You did get two or three 33 cl mineral water bottles (not half litter even) and three nespresso capsules but the minibar was too weak to cool them. Welcoming gift: well, none. Absolutely none. No flower, no fruit, no pastry, no champagne. Nothing. A first for a 5-star for me. Room cleaning: Very unprofessional. It even happened twice that at 15:00 our room was not cleaned yet! - The terrace was not cleaned (spider cobweb!) and not ready to use. We had to organise the furniture by ourself to enjoy it. Sometimes, the nespresso capsules wasn't even refilled or only one side of the bed was made ready for the night instead of two. Restaurant: The breakfast was a real disappointment too: uninspired and expensive. The continental breakfast was so greedy it was sad: You've got butter and jam but no bread. No juice neither. But hey! you've got a fresh cut fruit salad that was spoiled on our first morning! Not sure how it is possible if it is "fresh"but it was. Scramble eggs was awful too. Add to all that the unwelcoming staff. So unwelcoming that one morning, we even got shout at by the waiter because we didn't reserve our breakfast table! Unheard of. SPA: The small and unpleasant room was close when we tried to visit it. Open only by appointment and only by phone. The call costs you $2. The owner was not friendly. We did not use his services. A real disappointment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Right in the heart of downtown Montreal . And the charm of modern facilities with an old building. Plus the outside terrasse where you can chill for an evening cocktail.
Cons: The breakfast is over priced, one glass of milk, one glass of orange juice, one bagel and cheese, one cup of strawberries and blueberries, for a total of $54.00, this is really insane!!!

Pros: Clean spacious rooms in Downtown
Cons: The reception staff is very rude, I requested two bedroom room, but they said it wasn’t available. So I asked for a complementary extra bed. They said no Called booking.com and they offered to pay for it They won the $50 and lost the customer I guess... No repeat
6.8 Good
Cons: I booked hotel based on review rating, but it was something else. Hotel was nice in lobby and elevator area. But rooms were not ventilated properly and you can see dark color around vents which tells how clean air they are circulating. So if you are allergic to dust or bad air. Dont book this one. rest is okay.

Cons: A bathtub is needed in the room and it will be better to offer breakfast.

Pros: Great location, walking distance to a lot of sights, pool/hot tub area was modern/clean and hotel rooms were spacious/comfortable/clean.
Cons: Nothing to do with the property itself but there is a lot of construction in the area what was a hassle when we needed to drive somewhere

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice newer hotel, great atmosphere. The restaurants in the lobby, surprisingly good. The rooms were nice, well kept. Staff, very friendly.
Cons: Advertised in pictures as a Tower overlooking Montreal, reality, 10 stories. The picture of the Tower is actually the Apartments and condos. Room views, unexpected let down.
5.5 Okay

Cons: The attitude and the lack of servise and the rudness of the reception
10.0 Excellent
Pros: hot tub, pool
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay at the Courtyard Downtown. From the moment we checked in, the staff were nice, friendly, and gave us excellent recommendations on restaurants, bars and things to do. The room was nice and big with a large bathroom as well. Decor was nice and up to date and the bathroom had a large shower, lots of hot water, and excellent water pressure. The room was cleaned very well and I don't really have any complaints on that account. We had drinks at the bar in the hotel a few nights and loved it there. The staff here were also very nice and friendly, attentive and gave good recommendations on drinks. We had breakfast in the hotel a few days because it was convenient and quick. The first day it was good, the second day it was just ok (food tasted better the first day). Location was great giving you the ability to walk to lots of different areas from the hotel. Overall a great stay, would highly recommend.
Cons: Only issue was the air conditioning. After the first 2 nights of our 5 night stay, it stopped working. Reported this to the front desk and they sent someone right away (which was nice). He changed the air filter but that didn't seem to help. Sweated it out 2 nights then reported the issue again. The next technician changed out the whole unit and that worked, so the last night was nice and cool. Also, walls are a bit thin and we're near the elevators, so it was noisy Friday and Saturday night. Hotel has signs asking guests to be quiet but I guess there's only so much they can do. We didn't know who was making the noise or what room they were going to, so we were unable to report it.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Liked breakfast
Cons: Going in an elavator with no lights
9.0 Excellent
Cons: Price or the parking
7.5 Good
Pros: cleaness and location
Cons: People who are given info about the tours have to be clear and give more info about the tours and the prices include taxes. Also need to explain the clients about the taxis, some taxis only allow 4 passangers we were 5.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Size of the room and the gym was pretty good with a decent sized pool
Cons: No extra’s in the room such as snacks, slippers, decoration or a radio.
