Great location, clean, close to attractions
Great location in central Mexico City Nice large rooms with amenities such as a kitchenette and laundry New building - very clean Wonderful staff, most speak excellent English as well as Spanish Nothing
Nothing. So-called "Suites" have no windows to outdoors - only to closed main area - NO fresh air/ventilation at all. Our room had only one tiny prison like strip of air hole cut out of tin siding - big enough for very small fingers only. Noise from main road unbearable - felt as if we were in it. Suffocating.Building should be condemned - would be elsewhere.,Suites have no windows to outdoors - only to closed main area - NO fresh air/ventilation at all. Rooms, breakfast and internet were as good as expected. Breakfast does not have toó many options but it has enough. I had to use room service one night and had to call twice since after 1 hour I had not received the food I had requested. 30mins later I got my sandwich with no napkins, no ketchup, no mustard, the glass with ice so melted that it looked like a glass of water.
Minimalistic and Modern Comfort
The hotel has beautiful large suites - the interior has a very clean look. The bedrooms are very quiet; ideal for a good deep sleep. Location is perfect for business travellers. The check out process took a little too long. Internet service seems not to support VPN network.
We didn't receive the room we booked and were switched rooms three times
The staff: excellent! Really enjoyed the convenient but quiet location. The beds were a little firm for me but that's a personal choice.
helpful bell boy who could speak English and helped us find a place to get our washing done as the hotel was going to charge 65usd for 4.5kg. free internet not for non spanish speakers. Not for tourists. No map or tourist info at the hotel. Many of the reception staff dont speak English. Mexico City, or what we saw of it was a boring place to visit and not for tourists. We have been to many cities and it was grim. Speaking Spanish would have been a major bonus and we were only there 2days before going to Acapulco, but that is another story!!!
Decent, cheap place to stay. Nothing to write home about, but the price was right. I'd stay again. Rock hard pillows and windows that don't close properly!
The view was fantastic; the location was very convenient; the room and bathroom had very recently been updated and were very nicely done. The food was good and the dining room staff attentive. One of our needs, wi-fi in our room, which was promised on their website and on booking.com didn't work and in our 4 days at the hotel the problem was never addressed by the front desk staff despite our asking more than once.
excellent location, safe and good rate, good transportation, free internet, good food, rest. clean. The hotel is remodeling some floors and looks great. no
Me gusto mucho la atencion del personal, la ubicacion, las instalaciones y sus habitaciones comodas . Buen wifi Todo me gusto
Friendly staff, clean room and privacy.
It likes home, and its design is simple and modern. No hair dryer.
Bed very comfortable Pillows too large and shower head does not sprays enough water. Room could use some heating from time to time
Excelent location in a safe neighborhood. Large room with a full kitchen. Very helpfull staff.
wonderful hotel. The rooftop terrace is nice too. especially, service & staff kindness are the best I ever experienced. also good located for shopping and access for museums near the park & Casa Barragan. If you stay long time, I recommend this hotel. nothing I think about this.
Overall the facility is a good quality and located well. The room did not over look Reforma. The room faced the rear of the hotel...
Staff is really friendly, courteous and care for your needs. Internet service is a bit poor in some areas of the hotel.
Extremly good service, nice & competent people at the desk, restaurant & room-service. Comfortable bed. We'll go back longer to enjoy the live music! Good location. Bathroom & shower need up dating.
Location Service very slow, room and bathroom not clean
They charged me the two nights i stayed in advanced. The restaurant they recomended me wasn't good. Te painting of the lavatory and bathtub wasn't in good conditions
Excellent location on the main avenue. Refreshing pool on the 19th floor. Staff was adding tips on our bill after we signed it.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant buffet options. Great location. Really nice outdoor patio seating. 24 hour gym. Room door to hallway had a noticeable gap under it. I could hear people in the hallway rather clearly, so I imagine they could also hear me. I was gone most of the day, and in the room alone on business so it didn't bother much. I imagine I would have felt very differently given other circumstances. Also, I'm not sure AC temp was just for show. The first night at 76*F felt almost the same as second night at 65*F
Very close to the sight seeings. Staff's english is not good. Taxi service is expensive.
central klocation, wide rooms, good breakfast no, but they were blocking free wi fi internet access
It's on a great location! Just around the Conner from the Zocalo. The hotel is nice and clean, very helpful personnel, and right on the center of many historic attractions. Lots of places to eat, shop and have a great time. the only thing that I think might be a problem for some of our older couples is the shower. The tub it's to high.
I loved the staff and location I did not like that there was no parking for hotel guest.
The staff were really helpful and courteous. The room was really clean, comfortable and everything seemed fairly new. On a couple of mornings, there were some loud repetitive noises coming from somewhere near my room, it was kind of annoying. But the rest of my group never heard anything so maybe my room was just unluckily located.
good location, pretty good value. Hotel taxis very expensive. It's international ordinary. No problems, but no thrill.
Location and Service from the Staff Everything was fine. Met my expectations.
Nice and quiet. Clean ans spacious rooms.
Location and easy access from airport, very confortable the restaurant and bar was close before midnight- need to go out so late find restaurant
The location is very good! The hotel is in centre!
It's close to the plaza, and several city scenic sites. good location. They do not have traveling booking service. breakfast is simple, limited selections, and the taste of food is simple.
The location is very convenient. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, arranging a trip to Teotihuacan for me within mere minutes after asking, also taxi arrangements via the reception were convenient and quick. The room was elegant and very comfortable, much better than in equivalent hotels in Western countries. Everything was immaculately clean. The atmosphere is rather that of a us hotel. There were two bottles of water in the bathroom (I supposed that they were for brushing teeth) -- it turned out that they were part of the minibar and quite expensive. This could've been better marked. When I arrived at the breakfast room, no one seemed to speak any English or have any clue what they were supposed to do. They gave me a dinner menu and claimed that there was no breakfast. After a while, the chef came out, and in the end, I received a delicious breakfast (though the whole process took almost 1 1/2 hours). The next day I went to the breakfast place next door (Pan y Cocina; which was ok and cheaper).
Valentina Hotel is in a prime location between the US Consulate and the Angel de la Independencia in Mexico City. Transportation from and to the hotel is fast and easy. It is very close to historic sites and many good restaurants. The staff is courteous and kind. The room design was very modern, cheery and refreshing. It felt luxurious with a touch of youth and freshness. We specially appreciated the nice desk area for laptops. My husband and I arrived there very tired and even a little sick from all the traveling. We wanted a hotel near the US Consulate, but we also expected a little bit more comfort. We would have liked a simple room service for coffee or tea since we were so tired (there wasn't). Also, a pamphlet or room menu with the cafeteria and buffet offerings and costs would have been useful. the rooms are not sound proof, since a lady woke us up with her loud International call at 2 am. Hotel Valentina is extremely practical for bussinesspeople, but definitely not for leisure or relaxing.
The Room Mate Valentina was an amazing hotel. It was located in a great spot, close to sights, restaurants and bars. The rooms were spotless and spacious. The breakfast was generous and has a large variety. The staff were friendly and made a real effort. The heating didn't work. The street was noisy on Friday and Saturday nights.
My son and I were traveling to Mexico for a quick trip to see the sites. We loved the location of the hotel--close to the metro and close to good food and fun. The hotel staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast was fresh with lots of yummy and healthy options. We would definitely choose to stay here again. The electrical outlets could be closer to the bed. We bought an extension cord at a mercado so we could charge our phones and have them near our bed for calls and alarms.
The rooms are amazing! The bathroom is big as the bedroom! One of the best hotel ever for the design... The staff doesn't speak english!
On arrival, the hotel advised that they did not have my reservation. Shown the email confirmation, the desk representatives merely shrugged their shoulders and said they were booked up. FAIL
The location is the best if you want to be in the center. If your gay its even better cause ur in the middle of the zone. The bathroom, the smell was to bad.. But have to say that the reception staff is amazing, very helpfull and much better than other hotels!
A wonderful designer hotel with excellent staff and awesome rooms! Perfect Location in the very heart of Mexico City! Love it and will be back...
My gf loved this room because it was super bright with color and had lights around the bed even. Real sexy and more like a Jr suite. It was clean and nice and had all kinds of stuff around it. It is in the gay area with the " Boy Bar " across the street and sex stores nearby. I was trying not to visualize all the butt pounding that probably went down in our room previously to us staying there. But there are a lot of fun lil bars that are normal nearby and it was safe. Don't drink in the streets though or the corrupt MX police will shake u down and steal all your money, watch, etc.
