High Paradise Farm

There were self-catering facilities in the room so I brought my own breakfast with me but a jug of milk and jar of honey were provided free of charge as well as brickettes for the wood-burning stove. The owner and staff were all very welcoming and helpful.

Room not particularly clean, shower cubicle very old and manky. 4 wasps crawling around bathroom floor. A bird in the room when we arrived and it had left bird dirt around the room (we managed to get it out but if felt like the room hadn’t been checked). Room very tired looking. For the money would have expected at least a basic breakfast from the cafe included.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the property felt very comfortable and homely. Bed and shower were great and the free cake was an unexpected bonus!
