The location, the food, and the staff were amazing. The Inn was extremely comfortable. The staff were unintrusive, willing to help but did not hover and detract from the experience. Due to the size of the Inn it was an extremely cozy and private experience.
The wifi was spotty and for most of the night was unavailable. Other than that there was nothing to dislike.
Perfect place, perfect breakfast!
A gorgeous inn on a bluff above the beach, complete with a family of sea lions basking on a sea stack in the surf. The property includes a hot tub, fire pit and lovely gardens. The location is close to the redwoods and expansive beaches. The staff was very knowledgeable about the best ways to explore and so helpful in every way. The huge breakfasts and wine/beer/hors d’oeuvres receptions were a nice touch.
The Lost Whale in was phenomenal in every aspect. Brian was an amazing host and made our stay super comfortable. We were even there during the PGE power outage and didn’t even notice.
Multiple indoor and outdoor lounging settings with a killer view. What’s not to like about an ocean sunset and a glass of wine? Sweet rooms, happy hour snacks and fabulous breakfasts.
