Pros: The hostel is really beautiful, one of the most beautiful hostels I stayed in during my trip in South- and Central America. The owners are lovely and make your stay as nice as possible. Good beds, ventilators in de dorm, outdoor shower and a good equiped kitchen with oceanview. The location is close to some surfbreaks and really silent and beautiful but a car can make things more easy as it is quit far walking to the village and the closest supermarket.
Pros: Excellent staff. Draxx them Sklounst
Pros: People are super friendly and keen to help with any infos about the place... wave is fun too and not long drives to other spots. Nice rooms and perfect to meet other people. Renting a car is helpfull.
Pros: Had a great stay in the point Hostel. Really chilled atmosphere. Only a few meters away from the beach. The owner Tom is a really nice guy. Always helpful. Totally recommend staying here.
Pros: Fantastic hostel (not a hotel). We had a private room with a kitchenette, private bathroom, and full cleaning service, but loved the option of the community kitchen and hangout areas. Awesome outdoor shower for after swimming or surfing. Super nice staff, the best. Iguanas in the trees! Hammocks, a dart board. Three minute walk to the beach!
Cons: Just far enough from the village of Troncones that we wished we'd planned for bikes or a rental car. There is a wonderful local bus, but it doesn't always run when you want to go. So we walked in to the village often, which was doable but not always ideal.
Pros: Everything that people said before in the comments about the nice staff and the place is accurate. This is not a hostel. This is luxury!
Cons: Beware: Troncones is a place where poor mexicans have sold all their land to Gringos. The result is, that gringo babyboomers now practically own the place. There is only limited access to beaches, because gringos have built their villas everywhere and basically consider troncones part of Trump-Country. They are also extremly unfriendly, arrogant and rude. Even though some of them have been there for 20 years, they won't speak a word of spanish - not even a simple "buenos dias" comes out of their mouthes. I quote a gringo: "I consider this my country. In fact I have one big country" (he meant the US and Mexico together). Don't get me wrong, Troncones is a great place. But Gringo babybommers have ruined it. Just consider this before you are going.
Pros: We had a large comfortable room with it's own deck. The bed was also very comfortable. Drinking water was supplied. Charming hosts!
Cons: Not walking distance to the village of Troncones. Better to have your own transport here

Pros: Hotel and staff are great! Love this place.
Cons: Hotel is too expensive when comparing to the other properties nearby.
Pros: I liked the personal attention to every need.
Cons: What I didn’t like was having to leave.
Pros: Great staff, wonderful restaurant and communal areas, perfect location. Altogether a perfect stay.
Pros: It is a dream place. We had a wonderful experience with the entire staff, very friendly, extremely helpful but at the same time, never intrusive. The food served at the restaurant is local and creative. The hotel is located on the beach. The sleek architecture and gardens fit the natural environment, the safe warm ocean being less than 100 yards. We are going to recommend lo Sereno to all our friends and family.

A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Tranquility, openness, look n feel, above all hospitality from staff.
Pros: This super clean resort had extreme attention to detail, exceptionally friendly staff, and is located in a very safe and charming little beach town. The resort is spotless, and the daily meditation and yoga classes are absolutely perfect - varies in difficulty, teachers, and approaches. The perfect place to get away.
Cons: I loved the bungalows and how connected to nature they were - it was just a little hot to sleep (not the fault of the resort, obviously). If I came back, I might opt for an A/C room. I also thought the airport transfer was overpriced - you can find one extremely easily when you land at Ixtapa airport for half the price.
Pros: Very friendly staff, beautiful location, nice (vegan) food, good yoga & surf classes. Nice decorated palapa houses in front of the beach. You could hear the sea from your room. Tranquil and relaxing place.

Pros: Great location. We were the only ones there ... had all for us. Simple, But all OK. Notmany people at the beach ...
Cons: You are lost without car ...
Pros: Breakfast was prepared to order each morning; you could have whatever you wanted pretty much. Always delicious fresh fruits and good coffee. The location beachfront was awesome; with good swimming beach.
Cons: Bring bug spray for the "no-see ums".
Pros: Amazing place all around. Staff is excellent, breakfast excellent, view out of this world! Will come back... just not soon enough
Pros: Nice B&B, clean and nice pool, friendly staff
Cons: breakfast just average, rooms simple equiped
Pros: breakfast staff were fantastic breakfast was great the girls were very sweet
Cons: we were not very happy when dogs were allowed at Casa Manzanillo neighbours below had 2 small loud dogs, awaken us every morning ! no hay time - no extra sleeping each morning mucho mucho barking barking dogs at our feet when we walked to pool, or walking to beach very unpleasant, and they stay the entire week we stay very bad timing
Pros: Troncones is a ways away from ixtapa. however the facility is well worth it. breakfast was very good and the host and staff were super.

Pros: Roberto and his crew are super friendly and welcoming.
Pros: The food at the restaurant is very good and the team is really friendly
Cons: The place electricity is not working during the night and it is not possible to sleep inside the room because it is so hot... we had no choice and had to leep outside the room and got eaten alive by mosquitos :/
Pros: The location is fabulous, each little casita facing the wide beach of troncones. Absolutely gorgeous! It is a rustic accommodation so we were prepared for it to be basic, was actually quite homey. We had a fridge but nothing else so ate out every meal. The restaurant was convenient and the staff friendly but the food was just average. If we needed anything, any help, extra blanket, shower fixed, they were there in a minute to help! Nice folks!! This is a budget accommodation, was a bit like camping
Cons: Our room cleaner always swept and did the bed and toilet but she didn't really clean and I'm pretty sure our sink wasn't scrubbed the whole week as it had dirt build up.
Pros: Very good beach location. Free evening entertainment on site. Food at the restaurant was good, although slightly overpriced. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. Helpful staff. Very good place for a short stay for a single guy, and the lodging price was fair.
Cons: Small and cramped. No A/C. No swimming pool on site. Screen windows were very dirty and didn't allow good air circulation. Sink faucets were old and dirty. One light fixture was inoperable. Outside facilities could be perceived as "romantic", but the room itself was not. This place needs a little more "TLC" to be considered a great value.
Pros: This place is a dump and booking.cm should be ashamed for even having this place n their site. All the pictures are out dated. Does Booking even send anyone out to see the site themselves. If your under 21 and completely broke then this for you. Pool table in picture is a joke. You’ll be greated by rocky the pit bull before any staff. We booked for two nights and only stayed one. Much nicer place down the street called mi casa su casa. Probably ever use booking again
Cons: Well I’d tear the whole place down fire everyone and start over. Don’t stay here unless you are completely broke drunk high r just stupid
Pros: Only ate at Roberto's...delicious with wonderful service.
Cons: Cabins need more light.
Pros: I especially liked having a porch that looked out on the ocean. That was very nice. The room was old, but as I said above clean and comfortable and it was also very nice to have a refrigerator.
Cons: It would have been fine, but on the Saturday we arrived at 7pm a band started playing in the restaurant next to the cabana we were in. At first this was okay as they played nice quiet music. I later realized that this music was for the elder guests. After 9pm the music changed though to much louder music, way louder than we could sleep through and we wanted to sleep after traveling. This loudness went on to midnight. We were happy Sunday night was quiet. Then on Monday night at 8pm the music started again for Mexico night, a dj. Actually the music wasn't that loud, it was the dj who blasted out announcements between songs. We would have appreciated a warning of this when we checked in. We left after three nights as our stay was up.
Pros: Really nice place with the room in front of the beach !! The personnel of the hotel are so nice !! The food is very good !! And Carlos who is managing the growth and release of baby turtle make you live an amazing experience!!!
Pros: Right on the beach, great nice staff! They helped us with everything we needed.
