Beautiful location. Beds were comfortable
This place is over priced. The food is not as good as what you pay for. The drinks are watered down on purpose. Also trying to get the reception staff to Do anything is awful. This place might have use to have been amazing but has gone way down hill.
Location, friendly staff.
For the price this hotel did not meet our expectations. Staff was not around when needed, no water in the morning. Waiting an hour for coffee, etc. plus they charge you for everything to include bicycles.
staff telling me a second cup of coffee would cost extra??? not ok I asked for early coffee as I was going fishing at 7...nada allowing people in other cabanas to play loud music all night even after I complained
This hotel is gorgeous! The location could not be any better with many restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. The beach was beautiful very close to the rooms. The lobby and hotel room were beautiful. The patio and outdoor sitting area offered fantastic views of the beach and ocean. We even got to see a sea turtle at night on the beach!
The rooms are a little pricey but are worth it because of the beach view and general location. Also the seaweed was pretty bad at this time of year but there's not anything anyone can do about that. We still enjoyed the beach!
The staff here is incredibly helpful and friendly. The location is perfect - walking distance to shops, great restaurants and of course right on the beach.
The rooms need a mini fridge to keep drinks or food cold. You can't run the A/C during the dayb- but this would have made it more convenient - instead of having to constantly ask for ice.
In Mexico, travelers love to stay at hotels and resorts by the Caribbean Sea. For some travelers, they are looking for more of a quiet and peaceful retreat. If that is the case, few resorts offer such solitude. One that does is the Alaya Tulum. Located in Tulum, this resort is quiet and tranquil. It is not like most of the hotels and resorts in the area. When guests want an eco-friendly stay, this is the best place for them. This resort was built by using Permaculture and welcomes guests who are looking for a way to relax and de-stress. The resort was built to mimic a healthy ecosystem and build harmony with nature.
There are quaint beach cabins here that include spacious sitting and sleeping rooms, an indoor/outdoor deck, oversized windows, marble showers, pressurized rain showers, and wood planked floors. There is a restaurant on-site so that guests do not have to leave the resort.
There is a lot to do here, and guests of the resort will be excited to take part in all of the resort’s activities. Guests can do yoga, use the fitness facilities, go Caribbean kite surfing, go paddle surfing, and go scuba diving. Guests love to sit on the beach and go swimming too.
For a relaxing environment with little hustle of the city, this is the resort to choose. Guests here will be happy that they chose Alaya Tulum and will leave their vacation feeling more relaxed than ever before.
