The location is at the end of the beach and so you feel like you are truly off the grid. The distance from rooms to the beach is about 100 feet. Everything is clean and the upkeep is amazing. The staff are excellent, security tight.
I would prefer a private beach as it is open to anyone. Also, there were more families there this year and I did not expect so many families.
Beautiful location. We loved the yoga class. The breakfast was amazing
No coffee before 8:00. Hard on us early risers.
that it was 50 feet from the water
the hotel room had bugs. you cannot flush toilet paper down the drain. the water would randomly shut off. the electricity would randomly shut off. there is no TV and the wifi service is VERY slow. I would NOT recommend that anyone stay in Tulum.
Location and staff were very nice
Food was inexplicably poor given the area and opportunity. Wifi never worked and rooms were totally lacking charm. The area is rich in simple delicious cuisine and charming rooms but this hotel did not care to embrace those traditions.
I loved the treehouse feel of the upper garden view room. It was awesome that the included breakfast was actually ordering something off the menu in the restaurant. Beautiful grounds, I felt safe with the security there.
The staff recommendations at the front desk were not always particularly helpful (sent us for our most expensive dinner, wrong directions for ATM, etc) - nothing super terrible, but if I have to list something that wasn't perfect, that's it.
Quiet, good setting
Check out time to early.
Staff and location perfect ...
