Pros: The rooms have just been renevated. It's a small hotel. They were so nice. Actually called us to tell us the room was ready early. It is close to everything. The staff will help with recommendations from place to visit, things to do and yummy food, based on your preferences.
Cons: A nice bath mat would be appreciated on the stone floor. Hooks to hang up things in the bathroom. Another chair in the room would be nice.
Deerfield Lodge at Heavenly puts you just a 5-minute drive from Heavenly Ski Resort. Freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks, and guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby downhill skiing. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with fireplaces and balconies or patios.
Pros: Was such an amazing experience! Everyone was polite and got everything to us as soon as we requested it! Definitely will be going back
Pros: Location was great, perfect for the lake. Jimmy's restaurant was very nice and the wait staff were great!
Cons: We booked a pet friendly room for our dog, we were told we could only stay on the ground floor next to the lake car park. It was very noisy and the nightly cost did not match my experience. I am a seasoned traveler and this was not good value for money.
Cons: 1. There was no hot water in the morning when outside temperature is -8 C and they couldnt seem to care about it.
Pros: The staffs are the best and helpful.
Cons: The restaurant closes early 9.30pm and no other food or drink service late hours.
Pros: The staff, decor and small, thoughtful touches were great.
Cons: I thought the restaurant, Jimmys, was overpriced for the quality of the food. Menu did nothing for us.
Pros: My wife and I were greeted by the valet/concierge gentlemen right away and were offered a glass of cold champagne! Set the standard for the rest of the stay and they didn't disappoint! Love this place and see ourselves coming here for many years to come!
Cons: Didn't like that my sister in law's room was in a totally different building than ours, but understandable given the layout and they were completely booked that weekend. Also couldn't believe her room was much larger and nicer than our premium lake view king, given our room was $80 more per night. But the view made up for it. After all, it was only for one night.
Pros: The service was amazing and staff were very accommodating. Our room was beautiful and the spa was glorious
Cons: The reading couch in the room was not super comfy but it was a pull out so no biggie
Pros: All was perfect
Cons: Except the restaurant
Pros: Restaurant was excellent - both for lunch and dinner. Sommelier was very knowledgeable and approachable. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Got great restaurant recommendations from one of the valets. Room was very nicely appointed, comfortable and attractive. Radiant floor heat in the bathroom was a nice touch. Free on-site parking with valet service. Great location - not in the thick of things, so quiet, but easy access to South Lake and the rest of the Lake.
Pros: Staff is excellently trained. Very professional. Rooms are big and comfortable. Restaurant is nothing short of excellent. it is worth staying at the hotel just for the restaurant.

Pros: I loved the room. But I wish we had a king size bed.
Cons: My room overlooked the pool, as I'm sure most, or all do. But during the day the music in the pool area blasted really loud a few times over the course of the day. Scared me. But I'm sure that doesn't happen often, or I hope not at least. Also I wished we had a king size bed. The queen bed was too small and the comforter was too small for the bed.
Pros: It was very clean modern luxury
Cons: The $29 for parking too much and they charged us for 4 parking days instead of 3 and the guy didn't know how to fix it it was elaborate he called pkg they agreed we fldidnt have an extra car then he handed me back the paper and we had a stare off lame So I said no more dialogue I need to go fix it !! He did but he pouted didn't apologize it's probably hard to get good help up there

Pros: Great Village atmosphere. Lots of music at restaurants nearby, decent bar scene, right at base of gondola. Gondola was shut down for one day. so it was a drag to take a bus to the california base; especially when you're paying for the primo location next to the gondola. Oh well. Great skiing, one or two blocks to casinos, comfortable 3BR unit with washer/dryer. All good.
Pros: Everything was great
Cons: The couch/sofa bed could be little softer to sit and sleep on
Pros: Loved the convenience of being right at the Gondola and Heavenly Village. Front desk, valet, and staff were super courteous and helpful. The rooms are great, clean, and very convenient when traveling with kids. We used the kitchen to prepare breakfast and simple meals. Would definitely return because overall it was comfortable.
Cons: Housekeeping came by at 8am, and we had not left yet (typical when babies and toddlers are involved), and they did not come back later. We were later told we have to call and request that. When we did at 5pm they said it's too late for the day even though we just bumped into two housekeepers outside our room in the hallway. We asked them but they said we had to call front desk. They just got out of doing the work.
The mattress springs gave in and was pretty soft. Probably due for replacement.
Didn't like the 10am checkout. Should be 11 or 12 like other places.
Pros: Great location and beautiful rooms. Really nice having shops and restaurants in walking distance.
Cons: Very pricy for a room. Although very nice I feel like for the rates there should include more amenities like free meals or parking or free or discounted gondola ride.
Pros: We liked the location and friendly staff plus enjoyed the gym there.
Cons: We were disappointed that the check- out was 10:00. We travel a lot and have never had such an early check-out. We called valet for our car and it wasn't ready for us and waited 30 minutes for it. I think that was due to all checking out at the same time that usually doesn't happen at other hotels we have stayed in. Also they did not have anyplace to eat breakfast in.
Pros: The location
Cons: Parking was not included in the price. It usually is.
Pros: The staff all was amazing. They even took the overnight parking fee off my tab when they realized I was waiting 30+ minutes waiting for valet service. I wasnt even asking for anything as I knew they were all buzy as it was raining and it was checkout time. It was a great place, will be back again!
Cons: I cant complain. Everything was great.

The South Lake Tahoe vacation you have always dreamed of can become a happy reality at Marriott's Timber Lodge.
Pros: Hospitality was average, maid service was good.
Cons: Gap under front door letting cold air in, heater system very inefficient (took a whole day to get to 68 degrees), smelled like any killer spray when we checked in the room, one 2'x2' section on the bedroom floor was always warm, small 2'x2' section in front of the bathroom sink stays warm but not in the area where you would stand while using the sink (both as if there was a heated floor but was placed in the wrong area), couch cushions were had as a rock, just needs to be updated if the want to charge the price they charge per night. We were there from 12/31/15-1/3/16, premium because of New Years but not with the $200 per night. Also, something in the room made my skin break out in bumps and hives, maybe the laundry detergent they use? I don't know. I will not be coming back here again.
The Lodge at Lake Tahoe, a VRI Resort puts you just a 5-minute drive from Heavenly Ski Resort. For a workout, you can visit the fitness center or go for a morning swim at the outdoor pool. Condos feature conveniences like sofa beds and microwaves.
Pros: I liked the kitchenette. The staff were very friendly. The idea of having activities everyday was for the guest was very thoughtful and creative.
Cons: The informational email said that there was ac but there was not. The bed was too soft and hurt my boyfriend and I'still backs.
Pros: Location was great, room was quiet and clean (we had a one bedroom suite) I would definitely stay here again and bring our kids next time.
Cons: Bed was too soft, heater in master bath was broken, HBO kept cutting out while trying to watch Game of Thrones!!
Parking lot was being redone while we were there so we kept having to rotate where we parked but it wasn't a huge deal

Pros: Good value for money but the cleaning was not up to scratch. I don't think the sheets on our bed had been changed. Hairs on the sheets when I have inspected before bed. There were hairs on the bathroom floor. Carpets were worn in areas. Bedding looked about 20 years old. Just felt a little yukky
Pros: The Condo was lovely and clean. The proximity to the sandy beach at Lake Tahoe and the South Shore casinos is excellent. Also, the grounds are beautiful with all of the lovely pine and redwood trees on the property. We had a wonderful relaxing visit, and I will definitely recommend Aston Lakeland Village to my friends
Cons: Condos located near Lake Tahoe Blvd are too noisy with the traffic close by. I had to request a different condo than the one originally assigned to us, and Aston was very gracious about moving us to a condo closer to the Lake.
Pros: We enjoyed the swimming pool
Cons: First of all am not saying all employees are not properly trained doing their job but some of the employees yes they are not properly trained especially when they are charging bills to their guests when they checking in like what happened to us it is so terrible experienced we ever had in that place I booked online and make reservation I payed everything online so when I came to the front desk at the resort I told Them that I have reservation and I payed online however this employee asking for my debit card charging for any damages incase we something happen to the unit for amount of $100 for me doesn't matter because he said they will refund it after we check out so I said ok but then after an hour I check my online banking and it showed up in my bank account that the resort charge me $348 I can't believe this people can't do their job right so I told them what happen and they told me that they will refund it and they said it takes 3 to 5 business days to refund completely in my bank account and the next day I saw in my bank account they charge me again $740 I can't believe this place this is so much errors and stupidity why they can't do their job really guy come on!!' so I talk to them again and again and again all they did is sorry we will refund it we just make a mistake. And also at the next counter at my left side another costumer complained because of their errors over charging their costumers!!!! Please don't go in this resort believe me!!!!
Pros: The free shuttle was great- we never waited for more than 5 minutes for a ride. It was nice to have the continental breakfast as an option. Service was great and everyone was very friendly. Having a kitchen was great.
Cons: Room (especially the bathroom) was kind of cramped.
Pros: The fact that is was right on the water
Cons: The AC unit did not cool the room properly. Had to get and extra fan. The room was a non smoking room but there were cigarette butts on the balcony and the worse part was when I turned my covers down on the bed and found a large black hairball in between the sheets
Pros: Location is perfect
BBQ grills on property are nice
Cons: Pools were not heated even though they advertised them that way.
They stick you in the main building in the summer on the first floor with paper thin ceilings so you are awakened by the people above and you are far away from the beach and with only a queen size bed even though other rooms were available the Andrea manager wanted an upcharge of 50 per night plus tax for them even though the reception clerk said it was no problem to move. Andrea the manager always had a fake forced smile and was not customer focused at all. The room carpets were filthy.. they needed shampooing.
Pros: This was everything we needed for a weekend with my son and his family! The unit we were in is a three storey condo with three bedrooms (one in the loft) and two baths, full kitchen, living room and laundry. And the kids (and I'm including my grown son here) really enjoyed the wood fireplace! Beautiful surroundings, right on the beach. We decided to buy groceries and stay in the first night. ..a very good choice as the kitchen was well appointed. There are even board games! !
Cons: Just be aware that the loft gets really hot if you use the fireplace in the evening.
Pros: Access to beach is great. Shuttle service on demand is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking was tight, but we were there on 4th of July. Our suite was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware, etc. (though we didn't need a kitchen for a one night stay).
Would stay there again, but book a room earlier and request a room that is located as far from Hwy 50 as possible.
Cons: Our suite was spacious, except for the shower and toilet room which was extremely small. Furniture could use an update, screen doors were barely functional. Suite was facing Hwy 50 and was REALLY noisy. Needed to have the doors open because it was quite warm. I suppose in winter the noise wouldn't be an issue because you could keep the doors closed. Lastly, we paid way more than the room was worth, but booked it only a week before the 4th of July, so it was somewhat expected.

Pros: The staff I've encountered were very nice. The free breakfast was great and better than just a continental breakfast so I was happy. Bed was comfy. Room decent sized and definitely a good value. Excellent location. Walkable to Heavenly and right across a tiny street from Stateline casinos.
Cons: Slow wifi. Carpet seemed a little dirty in some spots. Room didn't have great lighting. The restaurant was hit or miss. Thin walls.
Pros: Hot tub, free breakfast, spacious rooms.
Cons: Slow / unreliable internet, especially during busy weekends.
Pros: The free breakfast
Cons: The overly expensive room service
Pros: Clean and nice. Was impressed with service and the people
Cons: Nothing. They did a great job!
Pros: Free hot breakfast.
Cons: room felt dirty. My daughters feet were dirty on the bottom after walking on the carpet.
Pros: - Nice location near heavenly village, hotels and attractions
- Horse carriage ride just outside the hotel (not affiliated to the hotel)
- Very clean room.
- Got excellent view of the lake and mountains.
- Good room service.
- Very courteous staff all around including front desk, valet, bell desk, concierge and breakfast.
- Safe area around where you can walk around even late in the night.
- Breakfast was excellent with good choices.
- Room had a separate living room and bedroom with 2 queen beds.
Cons: No fresh air fan in the bathroom.
There is no parking other than Valet. So you have to pay 19 dollars along with 15 dollars resort fee. It's good they separate it so people flying don't have to pay for parking, but those who drive should have some place to park for free.
Such a big hotel that it was hard to find a place to sit for breakfast in the morning.
Walls were thin and you could hear noise from other rooms and outside.
15 dollar resort fee only gives 3 Mbps internet which buffered while watching online movies.
Pros: Very nice and clean beds
Cons: Pool to chlorinated and cold
Pros: Great location, cleanliness, and price
Cons: Tiny body towels in bathroom after shower, it would be nice if they were bigger
Pros: Great location and price. Very clean and the indoor pool is great for the kids in Winter. Complimentary breakfast was good for the whole family. Perfect room with King bed in bedroom, hide-a-bed in living room for kids. Two sinks in room made it easy for everyone to get ready in the morning.
Cons: Living room TV did not work- they offered to send someone to fix it.
Monday the breakfast was very crowded and half of the dining hall was closed, so we had to wait several minutes for an open table.
Pros: Close to restaurants, entertainment and gondola to Heavenly resort
Pros: Great sized rooms
Cons: Wifi poor Kept cutting out and needed rebooting
Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel sits on the California-Nevada border in South Lake Tahoe, and is near hiking trails and the gondola. Guests can walk 6 blocks to the shoreline, or head the other way for mountain air. Gamers can pop next door to Harrah’s Casino, and skiers can enjoy runs on Heavenly Mountain Resort, 2 miles (3.2 km) away.
Pros: Loved the fact that it was right next to all the shops and had a casino on site.
Cons: Wifi costs were outrageous. Parking was tough. Rooms were not very clean. Hotel felt old even though decor was modern. Just doesn't seem like a grand hotel, which is not what it is in the first place. Weekends are about 300% more expensive than week day stays. Stay there if you need a place to sleep as it has a bed and tv. Beds were comfortable.
Pros: The hotel rooms are very nice and newly renovated. Most of them come with 2 bathrooms and a couch. Very nice with beautiful views. It's a very convenient location to the heavenly village.
Cons: The cigarette smoke in the casino can be pretty overwhelming.
Pros: room and view were pretty good
Cons: the house keeper ignoring the "do not disturb sign", ringing the door bell, walking in and walking me up at 830am.
the counter agent ignoring this complaint and not even offering a discount or anything more than "i'm sorry sir, how would you like to pay the resort fee?"
Cons: Poor check in service. No comps.
Pros: The location is great.
Cons: A bit run down.
Pros: The hotel was very accommodating and allowed us to do a late check out and change rooms due to an unpleasant odor. The original room may have just had a family stay and there was a lingering smell of diapers. But our room was changed immediately and the hotel happily accommodated my request to be on a high floor away from the elevators. The room was clean, large and comfortable. The two bathrooms was actually a huge help in getting ready. The view from the bar on the top floor for cocktails was lovely.
Cons: I think my cons have more to do with my own selection. I wish I had chosen a smaller more boutique style hotel because this one and its brother Harvey's are behemoths along the lake. If you are looking for something really romantic this probably isn't it. Every room is identical and blah design. But if you know what you're going for, it's perfectly acceptable.
Pros: My boyfriend and I stayed in a newly renovated room! It was lovely and we loved that it had two bathrooms.
Cons: They asked for a $50 deposit and I've never had that at a hotel which I thought was odd.
Pros: I loved the my stay! Everything is offered right inside the hotel, staff was amazing! Casino was super fun! Dinner at the Forrest buffet was great and the hotel had tons of extras (pool, arcade, bar, etc) I would def recommend this to any family and friends wanting to visit Tahoe
Pros: The rooms were a great value, clean and comfortable. Having two full baths in one room was very nice. They accommodated our request to have each room on the same floor. The Forest Buffet - Seafood was a great value.
Cons: Our room was closer to the elevator and that was a slight distraction. One family member had to call security twice for rowdy neighbors.
Pros: Upgraded to an amazing suite had a wonderful dinner at Friday's steakhouse.
Cons: Room smelled like smoke.gym was outdated.
Pros: Great room with 2 full bathrooms.
Cons: No complimentary coffee or water in the rooms.
Location. This Stateline, Nevada hotel and casino is 1.7 miles (2.7 kilometers) from the Gondola at Heavenly. Zephyr Cove Beach is 3.2 miles (5.1 kilometers) and Emerald Bay State Park is 8.9 miles (14.3 kilometers) away.
Hotel Features. Harrah's Lake Tahoe Resort & Casino has a casino for fun and games, and a steam room and a sauna for relaxation. The hotel’s business center is open 24 hours a day. Harrah's Lake Tahoe Resort & Casino has 5 restaurants, including Friday's Station Steak & Seafood Grill, and an on-site Starbucks, in addition to a fast-food court and room service (limited hours). WiFi for 2 devices is included in the resort fee.
Guestrooms. Amenities featured in guestrooms include air conditioning, clock radios, WiFi (included in the resort fee), and desks. Bathrooms feature separate bathtubs and showers and complimentary toiletries.
Pros: Location is very nice. Not too far from anything. Right on the beach is the best part.
Cons: Beach is busy with watercraft. Beds are nice but the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. Towels had stains. Lots of bugs around. Bathroom floor had dead bugs laying around. Last but not least was charged twice for my rooms. Once by the booking app (kayak) and then when I checked out. Kayak charged me more than the hotel. More a complaint about kayak/getaway.com.
Pros: The room was clean but tiny. View of Safeway. Thought I was getting a room on the beach at Tahoe. Other similar rooms were a quarter of the price but I was paying to be on the beach with a nice view.
Cons: Make sure you call and get a room on the beach at this price. Most of the rooms have no beach at all. Felt ripped off after I saw my room!
Pros: Close to everything and even has its own beach with a pier and restaurant.
Cons: Rooms desperately need to be updated.
Pros: Great location, right on the beach. Great views. centrally located. Very good value for the cost.
Pros: Great staff and location. Very close to the water and shopping. Clean accomodations overall.
Cons: Very small rooms, rather cramped spaces, and no complimentary breakfasts. The drinking water carried a $3.00 charge, ridiculous. At night the jacuzzi party was allowed to carry on until very late, noisy.
Pros: The staff made our stsy
Cons: Rooms were a little small but with the fireplace and deck made up for the room size.
Pros: Loved the fireplace in the room. Loved the efforts made to save - with the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and lotion. Also, loved that we had the option not to have towels and sheets changed to save on water. The staff was very friendly and helpful!
Pros: Location on the lake front was excellent. Hammocks to enjoy the views and outdoor. Dock excellent for watching the sunsets.
Cons: Buildings are old. We stayed on 1st floor and heard every creak and Crack as the people above us walked around. I was aware of their bathroom and showering habits. Our room was not the cleanest. Walls had lots of spots on it, smelled like bug spray but they tried to cover up with lemon scent. Our bed was extremely firm and so we're the pillows. With the noise from above and the uncomfortable bed it was difficult to get a good night's sleep.
Pros: You can't beat the beach access! With two young sons, having the pier, pool, beach and bar (for mommy & daddy) all within footsteps of our hotel room was amazing. Convenient and SO much fun. The grounds are great. We sat around the fire pits and ordered dessert one night:-) Love everything about this place. Oh, and it's affordable!
Pros: The staff was very nice and accommodating! Since we decided to not stay there for our vacation they let us cancel without any pay!
Cons: Our room was next door to house keeping. Washing machines were right next door which were very loud. Outside our door was the delivery dock with lots of confusion. The beach was not as groomed as I was expecting from a resort. Dog poop and cigaret buts. The water there was full of algie which I'm not sure if that is due to the dock? The Ticki bar was full of people which is great for young party kids. But we were looking for a resort with a pleasant, clean and family friendly!!
Pros: Perfect location on the beach and in town.
Cons: There wasn't sugar or creamer provided for the coffee, and there weren't any wash cloths.
Pros: Loved being right at the beach! We went midweek and pretty much had the beach to ourselves! The rooms were nice. The staff was great!
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the smell of the soap, shampoo, etc. provided. It had a weird medicinal smell.
Nestled right on the shores of the Lake, with awe-inspiring views and an exquisite sandy beach, the Beach Retreat & Lodge at Tahoe boasts its own pier and marina, delectable dining at our two onsite restaurants, and a huge variety of activities for the entire family.Rent a kayak and explore the lake during the summer months or venture to the slopes in the winter. The Beach Retreat welcomes visitors with gracious service and comfortable guest rooms, setting the stage for a wonderful blend of recreation and relaxation.
Pros: Hotel locality is great, easily accessible to most of the market places.
Staffs are helpful in providing tourist spots information..
Cons: Break fast would have been better with little extra options and cafeteria area was too small to accommodate guest from different rooms
Pros: Clean rooms and location
Cons: The breakfast, no channels on tv
Pros: pet friendly, rooms and linens are clean and great location
Cons: very high price for very cheap quality
Pros: The room was clean and had everything we needed while staying in Tahoe. Staff was friendly too.
Pros: Proximity to center hub of food, grocery and walking distance to lake and pet friendly. New upgrades inside and out ensure I will continue to stay here for my yearly visit.
Pros: Right by everything. Room was clean and staff was friendly. We'd defiantly go back!
Pros: First time in Tahoe, Went with the cheapest place my guy and i could find, But turns out: great value for location. We walked to the beach and to the shops/lifts and casinos. Staff was very friendly. Had both a regular king and also a suite with fireplace and jacuzzi (also for a good deal). Unless you're just super picky about not having somewhat dated decor or your breakfast, I wouldn't stay anywhere else for a higher price.
Cons: What you read about the basic breakfast is true, but the rooms come with a fridge. To improve: Getting a toaster for some bagels/breads would be nice to carb up for a day on the slopes.
Pros: Short walk to Heavenly's gondola and the folks are friendly. However, the maintenance is lacking and the buildings/amenities are dated. Breakfast is fruit, donut, and coffee; wifi is minimally useful. Hot tub was nice after a day on the slopes.
Good for the price.
Pros: 1. Curteous and helpful front desk lady.
2. Tasrefly furnished.
3. Everything was working.
Please pay attention to actual comfort not just looks of the unit.
Cons: 1. Very loud heater - it was louder than gale force wind.
2. Untouchably very rough duvet cover and rough sheets. Thought about sleeping on the leather sofa.
3. Shower curtain and 2 pillows had unpleasant smell.
3. Pillows and cushiins were too heavy and bulky.
Pros: The location is just 5-min walk from the Heavenly Gondola.
Price is good.
Breakfast was ok. Donuts, coffee, tea, banana, and apple. *the apple was just a little bit sour.
Internet was ok.
Cons: I was disappointed by the room service. On the day when I went to Heavenly gondola, the maid didn't clean my room. I was frustrated at that time since I expected to have a clean room after having tiring activities on top.
Microwave is too small. Can't warm food with a big box.
Pros: My SIL were so impressed with this place. We thought for the cheap price we were going to be staying in something gross and run down but this was quite opposite. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is amazing, and we had no idea how close they were to down town and the lake. We walked to both places with small children. We would definitely stay her again. Had a wonderful time.
Pros: We've stayed here a few times and it's always great! The location is perfect. It's walking distance to the gondola for heavenly, stores, food, movie theater etc. the staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and gave a fridge and microwave. The beds are comfortable and there is wifi. Can't beat the price!
Cons: The hot tub wasn't hot enough.
Bluelake Inn at Tahoe puts you within a 10-minute drive of Heavenly Ski Resort. Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: There is no AC in the rooms. Our room was over 90 degrees and very uncomfortable. Furthermore no websites I have looked at indicated that there was no AC. We had 2 nights scheduled and canceled the second night. Manager was helpful in refunding our money for the second night.
Pros: Nice view
Cons: No air conditioning. Cooled down at night with fan and window cracked. Wind comes from resort side and we were on valley side which gets no breeze. They would not move us to other side.
Pros: The views, locations, the rooms and some staff members.
Cons: Check in too late and check out too early.
Cons: After checking in at the main building, the room was not ready. The house keeper was still cleaning the room. My family had to wait over an hour to get settled in. It was a horrible experience.
Pros: Room was great and comfortable.
Cons: The day of check out. Room service started knocking on our door at 9 am, knocked again at 930, then at 955 they decided to just walk in without knocking. Very disrespectful
Pros: The restaurant staff were very pleasant and courteous.
Cons: There is no AC. This point cannot be stressed enough. Our room also had a hole in the wall and was missing basics like shampoo and coffee for the coffee maker. This "resort" is sort of tired - it is in need of updating all around. Everything looks about 10 years past due for maintenance or replacement.
Pros: Beautiful property, nice staff, great views.
Cons: They didn't honor my preferences for extra pillows. Didn't refill shampoo. Front desk closes at night. We left our room key in the room and had to track down Security who was very nice, to let us in.
Pros: The Tahoe Ridge is our favorite spot in South Lake. It's quiet, very clean and we look forward to our annual trip each year.
Cons: There isn't anything negative to say about The Tahoe Ridge.
Pros: The room was ready on time, very clean, and everything in the room was in great condition. The staff was friendly and courteous and we had a wonderful stay. We didn't use the hot tub or any of the communal facilities because we were too tired from spending all day at Lake Tahoe. When we go back to Tahoe, we would happily stay here again.
Cons: The thermostat in our room didn't work, but we didn't complain to maintenance as we were just there for a couple of nights and could open the window. The view was pretty terrible because it overlooked the basketball court.
Pros: The convenience. Park your car and never have to leave. Free shuttle service to ski lifts which is conveniently located at even walking distance. Free shuttle service dropping off and picking up in town. After a day of boarding/skiing, heated pool, jacuzzi to soak up in. Restaurant and spa. Fully furnished condos with stocked kitchen, everything you can possibly need to cook homemade meals. Cozy fireplace. I look forward to returning
Cons: There's nothing negative I can think of. Very satisfied with stay
Pros: Various on site activities and you don't have to leave if you don't want to. The Ridge has it all from swimming to basketball and on site skiing. Plus, a free shuttle unto Tahoe if you want to get away easily.
Cons: They don't give you any shampoo or conditioner, so if you forget it the nearest fix is their overpriced store! Also, hate the 4:00 check in which doesn't make sense with the 10 am check out time!
Pros: I don't like this place too much.just stay one night.

Pros: The whole stay was great from the start. The staff was very welcoming, and Baseline was such a unique experience from beginning to end. The location was walking distance to everything we wanted to do, and we absolutely loved our experience. Highly recommend!!!
Cons: The only thing we didn't particularly enjoy was the thin walls in between the rooms, and the quality of the TV. But those were minuscule issues, we loved our experience.
Pros: Great place with very friendly people. Hipster ambience is created by cool style and design. Aesthetically it's a very pleasant place, not every Taho vacation has to be in an old cabin with a lot of orange wood and musty smell (if you know what I'm talking about). Hip and young place with make-your-own waffle breakfast and smores kits available for $2 at the reception (I've been doing those every night!!).
Cons: Parking lot is a bit tight. No decaf coffee for breakfast.
Pros: Basecamp has succeeded in facilitating a communal, hostel-like vibe while maintaining a higher-end boutique hotel, something that I've never encountered at other hotels like this. The hamburger and bratwurst grill in Basecamp's grassy courtyard were much needed after a long summer day at the lake. I'd definitely come back again.
Cons: The picnic benches in the courtyard are sketchy. Mine was super wobbly but I was sober so I never took a spill. Though, my friends and I watched several people who may have had a few too many flip off their benches while sitting around the fire pit. I'd just suggest the staff replace these benches before someone gets litigious on Basecamp!
Pros: The remodel of this hotel was superbly done, the rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were super comfy. The outdoor lawn with fire pits, hot tub and open air bar was great after a long day of hiking.
Cons: The staff was clueless. My husband and I asked for a place to get breakfast sandwiches before setting out on a day hike and we were recommended a 21 and over strip club, at 8 am!! They left messes laying around for days at a time, literally (there was a concert across the street at one of the casinos and the after math of beer bottles, food containers and other debris on one of the hotel patios was left uncleaned for almost two days!) we even asked a staff member about the mess because we wanted to enjoy the view from the patio and he just laughed and said "yeah, they really made a mess huh."
Pros: Everything about this hotel is great. No detail is missed. Great price and great experience. Can't bet the location either.
Pros: Rooms are design, clean and confortable.
Staff is wonderful, dynamic, helpful.
Ecologic style. Very good breakfast, homemade style, with not too much food: super !
Cons: No coffee maker in the room.
Pros: Love, love, love this place!
Very clean and no usual hotel vibe. I wish my apartment was that great. Nice wooden accents throughout the room. They did a great job updating the place.
The staff is super responsive and willing to help and there's someone at the front desk 24/7
Everything felt and looked like they really care and want to provide the best possible experience
Big windows that open! So it's easy to air out the room.
Free s'more kits. So you can jump into the hot tub on the roof and then enjoy some s'mores by the fire pit
Free 24 hr very good coffee
Nice continental breakfast with yoghurt, granola, blueberries, bagels, cream cheese and pastries
Mostly younger friendly crowd and families with kids
We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night on top of the three nights we already booked. And they matched the initial price of booking.com
Great price for the room, considering other hotels around. It was off season though
Cons: Could use more storage space/hangers in the room as well as in the bathroom
Pillows were not very comfortable
Bathroom and shower are a little cramped
Some guests smoked right in front of the rooms and no one was keeping tabs on that
There's no refrigerator or microwave in any of the rooms. For families traveling with small children that's a big deal. Though, the staff was nice enough to let us store food in their fridge
Pros: room cute, clean. Lots of pillows.
Cons: No elevator!!! I had to climb two flights with heavy bags and two bikes. Staff were somewhat indifferent. No AC. No TV channel guide.

Our 74 stylish rooms are designed for adventure and relaxation seekers alike. Come stay with us and let our accommodations be the springboard for your Lake Tahoe adventure.
Cons: The room smelled terrible. The staff charged me 80 extra for bringing my pup..and downgraded me to a smoking room! I booked non smoking!
Pros: The parlor room was spacious. Our 2nd story room had water-stained exposed ceiling beams. My husband worried about mold. I woke up with a lot of itchy bites and wondered if the previous room occupant had a flea ridden dog in there.
Pros: Everything is perfect even staff very helpful
Pros: The room was quiet, had two beds, and ample room to move around; however it was very dated, the bed spread was old, and seemed very dirty. We took it off and laid it aside. the nite shade was old and had holes in it. However the restaurant attached to the Inn was amazing, we have eaten there several times, even on drives through the area, a plan that will not change even though we may never stay there again.
Pros: Phone did not work during our stay and was never repaired.
Fan blades rattled in air conditioner and took 2 days to fix.
in general the entire facility meet upgrading.
Casino and restaurant however are good.
Pros: Nice location, clean, simple room.
Cons: No wifi, fair casino, facility.
Cons: Timber house restaurant was so much better then "timbers". Food used to be so much better such a shame
Pros: Great price for the room
Pros: Great food! pleasant room, comfortable bed. Plenty of towels. convenient free bus pickup for skiing Heavenly Valley.
Cons: Tiny bathroom, tiny bathroom counter.

Other room amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access, coffeemakers, cable television, HBO, phone, and ski racks.
Cons: Pillows were not comfy, felt like a sweater. Need cot and got denied.
Pros: Location, comfortable bed, good proximity to areas of interest
Cons: Room was not ready four hours after check in time, staff was rude and unhelpful, overpriced vendors in hotel, room decor was extremely outdated, brown carpets and red floors/counters made it impossible to tell what was clean/dirty.
Pros: Loved it
Cons: A bit pricey
Cons: Rooms are bare bones--no coffeemaker or mini fridge. Convenient location for skiing, and for gambling if that's your thing.
Pros: Location & staff.
Cons: The resort fee was 25% more than what was specified on my reservation.
The parking enclosed parking lot could use a makeover.
Pros: Came through in a pinch, perfect location, good amenities
Cons: Room was dirty, loud, we could hear everything
Pros: The room smelled odd. The shower barely worked - super low flow and the hot water didn't last long at all. The heater in my room broke and they could not fix it or move me to a better room so I was freezing cold the entire time. No customer service to make up for the poor quality and experience I had. Overall just an awful experience. Should have stayed at Harrah's and paid the extra $100 for their hotel. Not happy at all.
Pros: Great location, close to shopping and other activities
Cons: Hotel room has no fridge or microwave, only hotel I've ever stayed at that dudnt have both in the room
Pros: We liked everything. Rooms were awesome with comfortable beds, very clean and updated bathrooms, food was excellent, gambling was great, and a perfect location for shopping or to do anything around the lake. Can't wait to stay again.
Cons: Too many broken down elevators
Pros: Close to concert. Great room with a view of Lake Tahoe. Starbucks conveniently located close to the elevators.
Cons: Bed was not very comfortable. We stayed across the street at Harrahs last time and the bed was better. However, we liked the room much better at Harvey's.

Pros: Montbleu is one of the most affordable resorts in Tahoe, conveniently located right on the Blvd, walking distance to a number of casinos, restaurants and bars. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Check in and check out were quick and easy.
Pros: Room was really nice and new. Beds very comfy. Elevators fast and hotel nicely laid out allowing to get quickly from A to B.
Cons: Room didn't have fridge, nor microwave. Toilet flush was constantly dripping. Room wasn't clean-we found peanuts and beer caps next to one bed and bath had hair all over floor. We saw room cleaners hang around and chat all the time, rather than working, so this probably explains why rooms aren't cleaned well. Endless wait before check in because of line waiting (15people) and only one agent who was supposed to check everyone in was on the phone all the time. Worst thing was the hot tub in the pool area which smelled intensively like old sweaty socks.
Cons: I booked and prepaid through kayak for a deluxe high room. Was put on the 4th floor looking into a building wall and the wall paper in the shower was coming off.
The staff at the MonteB from desk were completely unhelpful and didn't even want to help me. They told me the hotel was completely sold out but then right next to me someone walked up and booked a room on the spot. Really.
I also tried to work with Kayak. They were 100% unless too. Even promised me a call back that I never received. I called 3 times.
Pros: It was a beautiful pool
Cons: Rude staff
Resort fees, taxes, plus extra hotel fees tacked on just to use the pool. No free wifi. Bathrooms I stocked.
Pros: The room size is great, super clean, big bathroom !! The food from was delicious from room service as well. Nice !!! Great value for the price
Cons: Nothing I did not like!
Pros: Nice bathroom and shower. The room was updated. Free self parking. Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi.
Pros: The updated room and the price
Cons: We were in the room next to the elevator shaft.
Pros: The rooms have recently been updated and were nice. The location is convienent to all the stateline casinos and restaurants.
Cons: No mini fridge in the room is pretty unacceptable for the caliber of hotel they are trying to be. The casino and rest of the the areas downstairs can really use an update as well. The noise is an issue, really loud all night and early morning.
2. Modern room design.
3. Comfy beds.
4. Great Bell Desk Service.
5. Indoor pool.
6. Good menu selection in Buffet, unfortunately only Thursday to Sunday.
- waited more than for 40 minutes to order in-room dining
- Cafe del Soul is the only restaurant open Monday to Thursday...
20 minutes wait to be seated, 40 minutes to get food.
2. Dark and cramped arcade rooms.
3. Coffee maker in the room is too small and low quality.
4. Refrigerator was extra $20 a day per room
Pros: Spacious rooms.
Cons: Smoking allowed in casino. Lingerie shop in elevator hallway.
Pros: Within walking distance of restaurants, gambling and night life. Housekeeping staff were very helpful
Cons: Room did not have a seating area or bath tub
Cons: We had to call multiple times because the room next to us was partying from 9pm-130am and only finally stopped because we called for the 3rd time. At one point we couldn't even get they to anyone from the hotel and ended up having to call on our cell phone to reach security. We could also smell smoke from there room too. Our air conditioning also didn't work and we were so uncomfortable and hot all night. the jacuzzi had so much chlorine in it it was stinging our eyes and we had to get out.

This resort offers 438 spacious guestrooms, many with scenic lake and mountain views. Select rooms offer spa tubs. Larger suites incorporate hardwood flooring, wet bar areas and living spaces with plasma televisions. Wireless Internet access is complimentary.
Pros: The only thing that was great about the hotel was location.
Cons: The front desk area was smelly , hotel front staff was friendly but not what I expected. Will never stay here again.
Pros: The location to the beach.
Cons: No A/C. No pool. The room was far from clean. The hotel clerk had not changed his clothes since we checked in on Monday ad checked out on Wednesday. Possible bed bug bites? Whatever they are, all 4 people had bites all over.
When you stay at Best Choice Inn, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Heavenly Ski Resort. Guests will have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: Bad food and super expensive
Very Noisy all night long from snow equipment, but hey the noise from the refrigerator and the super loud bathroom fan helped overpower the CATs that groom the mountain as they drove by our window.
cold not cool the room, was 80 degrees in winter, for some reason it was always overheated.
Foldout bed and couch were very uncomfortable
Super cramped micro studio, really a hotel room with a kitchen
No social life, everything closes at 430 and you are in a ghost town despite being a holiday weekend, strange
Way overpriced, facilities should be much much nicer for the $350 plus plus a night for a micro studio
Pros: Low key and relaxed. Staff made a real effort to please. Comfortable.
Cons: Lack of choices for places to eat. Limited grocery shopping selection.
Pros: Value. Proximity to slopes. Size of room.
Cons: Room was extremely low budget. Tv was tiny and did not work (no cable). Bed was uncomfortable to the point that sleeping on the mattress was impossible

Guests can indulge in spa services, and The Kirkwood Inn, one of 2 restaurants, serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A bar/lounge and a fitness center are offered, and in-room conveniences include refrigerators and microwaves. Skiers will appreciate the free ski shuttle, along with access to ski passes, storage, and rentals.
Pros: The Hard Rock has done a nice job of rejuvenating a space that was a dead zone at Stateline for a long time. It's become my favorite South Shore casino. Young, lively crowd, decent sportsbook, comfortable rooms.
Pros: Staff was great. Good location. Nice hotel. Would stay again.
Cons: 1st room I was given wasn’t clean. Towels on floor and bed a mess. 2nd room was much better. Staff was great.
Gym is very small and not much equipment
Pros: Cool decor
Craft beer in casino
Cons: Limited room service, no available menu, you had to call to find out what was available.
Restaurants did not offer what they advertised.
We needed parking for a truck with a trailer which we were told was available but when we arrived the parking lot was loaded with concert parking and we had to park behind Mont Bleu Hotel across the street.
25$ facility fee for access to pool, gym, and WIFI.
Pros: Conveniently located near the stateline. Very close to the gondola ride and lake activities at ski run marina. Last minute rooms
Cons: Neighbors playing music at 4am woke up sleeping baby. Turned the music off after i complained through security but were still talking and laughing loudly. Couldn't go back to sleep till 6am. This delayed everything we had planned for the next day and made the trip unpleasant.
Pros: Big Room
Cons: Poor fitness room
Pros: Contemporary design through tout room. Bed was comfortable and tv was big enough
Cons: Warm all night long. Cannot control heating for building was central heating.
There was no shampoo. ONly conditionair
Also cannot find ice machine on floor
Pros: Then bed was comfortable and it was clean.
Cons: The price is falsely advertised. There was an additional $25 fee once getting to the hotel for a "resort fee"
Pros: Staff was amazing
Cons: I didn't like the extra $24 a night "resort fee". I figured this website would be all I needed to pay for the hotel. The elevator and stair ways in the parking garage smelled like urine.
Pros: Great location, close to all. Can walk if weather permits
Cons: Bathroom was outdated. SO outdated that I slipped in the shower, hurt my ribs and ruined the rest of my ski trip! The hotel does not provide the rubber mats to place in the shower tub. And the cleaning staff didn't speak English so I wasn't able to ask them much.
Also didn't like the fact that each floor does not have an ice machine. Being injured there and having to go to another floor to get ice for the injury was a HUGE inconvenience.
Pros: The price was affordable and good service
Cons: Some areas were not very clean (like the parking lot elevator)
Pros: It was close to great stores and the lake. The pillows are great.
Cons: My room didn't get hot water in its bathroom, it was kind of plain looking no art or much of anything. I couldn't open a window of any kind the rooms a/c made the room warm constantly. I filed 2 complaints about the hot water to which nothing happened. The valet and room service weren't shy at asking for tips or hinting at it with the service they give. The food was awful got refunded after showing mangers why the food was undercooked and tasted nasty I offered to allow the manager to taste or try the food and she wouldn't even do it. Bought over $150 in food for the 2 rooms and got refunded half of what I spent. Sadly though the deal was sweet for the stay I think I'll stay at monte bleu next time.
Pros: Cheap amenities and dirty hotel. It's a facade. And it was way too hot in the hotel
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe features a casino and puts you within a 10-minute drive of Heavenly Ski Resort. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Fire Break Kitchen & Bar, which is one of 3 restaurants and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Flat-screen TVs, room service, and premium bedding are offered in all rooms.
Pros: Management was extremely helpful. Boosted my car off with a smile. Perfect budget stay, short 5 minute walk to casino.
Cons: You get what you pay for as far as condition.
Pros: This was a great stay. The room was close to the parking lot, bed was comfortable, wifi was reliable, and my partner and I got a good night's rest. Of course you can't expect 5 star experience (whatever that is), but for a ton of privacy, clean and comfortable room and bed, and the distance from there to the beach/shopping center, for the price ($70~/night) it was awesome!
Cons: The continental breakfast was limited (cereal, orange juice, alright cinnamon buns, oatmeal, coffee, tea, apples and bananas). It was probably first-come, first-serve, yet no one told us of this policy or when it started (7am-9am). I recommend staff to tell us when it is available and what is included. I wouldn't pay extra for the breakfast.
Pros: The location was great
Cons: It has a musty smell, the bottom sheet was not a fitted sheet so if I turned over I would take the sheet with me and be laying on the bare mattress :(. The bathrooms were not super clean.
Pros: It was economical and ideal since we just wanted a place to sleep while visiting. Check-in and check-out were very smooth. Beds were fine. Included a pass to the nearby beach.
Cons: Only a few things were not good: The window blinds didn't darken the room very much, and the provided breakfast in the morning was very basic: two cereals, some donuts, and coffee, milk, & OJ.
Pros: The location was very close to the casinos
Cons: We ordered a room with a Jacuzzi tub and the tub was broke but they gave us our money back so that was OK
Pros: Price location privacy
Cons: You get what you pay for nothing to dislike. Would stay again.
Pros: Blissfully quiet! Simple breakfast every morning, in room coffee pot, microwave and mini-fridge with freezer was perfect for our stay. Kept our snacks and sodas cool and allowed us to brew our own coffee and tea. Microwave was a bonus to reheat leftovers from the local restaurants. Steps away from Harvey's and Harrah's and Heavenly Village. Cute and delish taco stop next door. Walk to the beach equipped with beach front dinning. Comfy bed! Slept better here than at home - okay, that may have been because we got away from the kids. Excellent wifi, and plenty of TV and HBO. We are telling everyone about this hidden jewel; for the money, its as good as it gets. The motels with numbers in their names charge twice as much for 1/2 the comfort and even less amenities. We are already looking ahead to book again. Still can't get over how wonderfully quiet this corner of the universe was at all hours of the day and night.
Cons: We would have loved an outdoor hot tub, but not a big deal. They have rooms with spa tubs, and next time we'll book one of those rooms!
Pros: The room size was good as was the location, within walking distance to Harrahs.
Cons: Not a big deal, but the hot water took a few minutes to warm up from freezing cold.
Pros: Great value, very helpful staff, highly recommended.
Pros: The management was very accommodating to the few requests we made. Very comfortable 10 days with everything we needed for an inexpensive and pleasant stay. Only steps away from casinos, restaurants, shopping, theater and gondola to top of mountain. Excellent value!
When you stay at Blue Jay Lodge, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Heavenly Ski Resort. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, and hiking/biking trails, kayaking, and parasailing are nearby. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with LCD TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: Great location fair price comfy beds. Great Taco place down the street walking distance to Lake casinos and shopping. Nice staff
Cons: Needs updating. Toilet was wayy to weak. Scratches and scuffs all over walls. Wall ac didn't work too well. Generally just needs some love and refurbishing could be really great
Pros: great location and great breakfast (specially granola - very good)
Cons: they didn't change towels or checked if more toilet paper was needed during room daily cleaning.
Pros: I loved how we could walk to the shopping and restaurants. We were able to walk to a hiking trail as well!
Cons: We couldn't figure out how to get the heater to turn off or the AC to turn on. It was pretty warm in the room.
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly.
Cons: For the price Charged, the room could have been a bit cleaner. It smelled like stale ciggarettes (non-smoking room). The bathroom was far from clean.
Pros: The rooms were large and clean with a lot of natural light, the beds were comfortable, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Great location by the Heavenly gondola. Everything worked; it was a cold weekend with lots of snow but the heater kept us plenty warm. They provide snacks in the room for fairly reasonable prices, which was a nice touch.
Cons: The walls are thin, so sound carries. Our room had an adjoining room next door and we could hear a lot of music and talking through the doors that separate the rooms. Fortunately, any loud noise seemed to stop fairly early in the evening, so it didn't affect our sleep at all.
Pros: Great location, cheap price
Cons: A little run down, but clean
Pros: The rate we paid was great. The room was a good size, clean enough and with a comfortable bed. They had a continental breakfast in the morning which was not bad. Staff was attentive and well trained.
Pros: Clean quiet room had frig and microwave, nice and comfy.bedspread was the only negative.
Cons: Pool looked not so inviting
Pros: I did love the location. It was far enough away from the streets so you won't hear cars but close enough to walk to any place in walking distance. I loved how cute the green buildings were, just made them feel homely. Clean, beds were comfortable. Quiet. Staff very friendly. Water pressure was good. Loved the mini fridge came in handy with left overs. Great overall stay.:)
Cons: When we got there, there were no towels in the bathroom. When we called the front desk and asked for towels they never came until we had problems with the TV. ( cord on tv gets loose and you have to unplug it to turn it on again). Shower had worn out spots on the floor. Furniture was randomly placed. TV cords were everywhere. Not enough outlets to plug in phones, computers, etc.
Cons: Room is old, a lot of shady loud people that live out of rooms, the fireplace was broken worst decision I have made!
Pros: Budget hotel, good location
Cons: Hear people walking above - very shaky. Lot of people smoking outside. The room was old and dusty. Blanket was of low quality.
Pros: Location was great! Close to the lake and shopping center! Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The nightstand and tables weren't cleaned. The fridge was dirty and it wasn't cold. Continental breakfast was a joke. We went the 1st day and that was the last of that. We'll be staying elsewhere.
Big Pines Mountain House allows you more time for skiing with ski-in/ski-out access, plus you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Heavenly Ski Resort. Guests who don't want to hit the slopes can enjoy the outdoor pool, and free continental breakfast is available. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with LCD TVs and designer toiletries.
