Overview
The architecture of Ramada Udaipur Resort and Spa sets it apart from all its competitors. The architecture is contextual primarily to the Mewar region, and specifically to the traditional construction known as Tekri Work. The courtyards, the verandas and the terraces are the external spatial elements, integrating well with the guest facilities spaces. Maximum utilization of traditional materials and latest technologies complemented with contemporary life style is present in this luxurious resort. Additionally, this approach generates employment to the traditional crafts persons, and contribute significantly to the continuity of the craftsmanship skills of the region. The primary concept of the resort is of a central courtyard, around which all the four types of Guest rooms are located, along with 3 lawns at different levels, so as to capitalise on the spectacular view of the city, famous Lake Pichola and Sajjan-garh fort (popularly known as Monsoon Palace). Also, the resort is designed in a way which does not disturb its natural surroundings and emphasize on greenery in and around the resort. Every minute detail is taken into consideration in constructing this beautiful resort such as sun-rise theme is given to the rooms facing towards East direction. The suites have a Pea-cock theme. There are 72 guest rooms, each room opening out to spacious balconies. This luxurious resort offers an all day dining restaurant, pool-side dining, a well-stocked bar, 2 banquet halls for grand parties and exclusive dining venues. Ramada Udaipur Resort and Spa proudly boasts of Sohum Spa, a premium spa brand of India, with breath-taking views of the city, heated swimming-pool, Sajjan-garh facing fitness-centre and many indoor and outdoor activities such as carom-board, chess, table-tennis, foosball table, cycling, aqua- sports, archery, yoga and swimming sessions, Rajasthani cooking classes as well as making exotic cocktails and mocktails.
