Vänersborg Hotels

The hotel was comfortable ,the food was good and the surroundings made it a very pleasant stay as we only stayed for one night any other thoughts would not mean much. The map on the web site was showing a completely different hotel in the same area.

Quite relaxing environment, good breakfast. The bed was very good and friendly employees. The weather was good and I met a lot of Saab friends. The neighbourhood was rather loud (both evenings there was a party in the street opposite the window), too little parking places that could be used without parking cards.

Fine room with a good wiew lots of green areas and a place to park the car. Fine bed and no noise during the night. Next visit I will bring my Nike shoes, it a fine place for a 8-10 km jogging.

Dated decor & and views from room weren't as good as advertised

spent the night. tried sauna and gym, both good. I am not sure about other rooms, but ours was quite worn. Breakfast staff didnt clean tables so had to organize ourselves to get seated.

Close to the city centre. Car parking in a garage. Breakfast was a chaos

The room was ok, not too big, but enough. Ok TV too, and breakfast was resonable. The beds are extremely hard, and the sleep that night was broken into pieces due to the beds and the pillows, that were too big. The shower also made the entire bathroom wet.

The room is too small and shower without door.

Having a young child, we took a suite as this way we could relax in the hot tub at night and not have to go to a spa one at a time while the other was looking after our child. This is a good feature to the suite. Breakfast finnished too early in the morning and the rooms are overpriced.

Very quiet, situated in nice park with river view. Small but very good selection of evening meals. Friendly and uncomplicated. Wireless connection in room not usable, not even with 3G booster. Had to work in reception hall. No smoking rooms available.

Rooms are a little small.

Close to many restaurants The street noise on the Saturday night continued loudly until 03:30 on the Sunday morning.The hotel did not provide us with the superior room which we had booked but tried to charge us for one.

Distance from town. Room was very dirty and dusty - under bed, on table, on bedside table. Staff not on reception. Very impersonal.

Nicely designed room with plenty of space. Well decorated. Small bathroom but perfectly functional. Simple but adequate breakfast. Efficient check in and check out. A bit out of the town but only an easy 10 minute walk.

Familiar,friendly and relaxed attitude I would like more electrical connections
